I watched the whole lecture and some Q&A. The presentation on the historical evolution of religions was really interesting.

The scientific part I was far less comfortable agreeing with, especially when he asserts probabilities and doesn't do much to defend them. He also makes major assumptions, like if we can't conceive of a good reason for a god to not do something, then there is no good reason.

It was worth watching if you aren't very familiar with pre-Abrahamic religions.

There is nothing like saying "douche bag" that makes a Doctorate degree seem like a waste of an education. Step it up Carrier. Grow up. Move up. I get it. You're young and have a higher degree. I just have a hard time taking your shit serious when you say, "douche bag".

I understand I tread lightly when I say "take your shit serious"... but I'm a random reddit dude.
