Against the Squirrel I find lasers to be much more effective than any guns.

Squirrel is kinda known for being lulzy, although that was 'back in the day' when you could not afford lasers early in the game, nowadays you can slap an anti-squirrel laser pretty cheaply on anything.

A lot of players also get suckered in on APS, going for an all-APS run is all but suicide against certain targets. A shame as APS is the most interesting weapon system in the game.

At least the "Literally fucking immune to ALL APS" shields are gone.
