Revisiting my Tiny Apartment- VLOGMAS week 2

[Music] [Applause] [Music] we good morning everybody welcome to the second week of vlogmas I'm currently Shibuya and a minute to take a creative office and I've been to the rooftop for the first time I didn't even know this is hilly she kids so I managed to get to my Japanese lesson this morning all went well my brain was kind of dead so I forgot everything I've ever learned and then I got some lunch and now I'm here I'm excited we're gonna be filming with Tokyo creative today got some wonderful people joining me and tonight is Bonin Chi the end of year party I'm here with Elise inshaallah by the way their local time it's such an outfit i love it oh wait ready yeah all right we're just getting ready to film I got this cute little costume it's Christmas time it is built for a Japanese person so the sleeves are quite short and it is like this is supposed to be around the waist but yeah Oh Christmas am I ready to go so I'm wearing a face mask that's supposed to look like Captain Jack Sparrow what do you think it's pretty accurate it's better than I thought it was gonna be and it smells pretty good I'm surprised yeah really hair color match yeah it's like this is this is why I was right this is what it looked like on the package what do you think okay well we just finished rubbing one and then we're gonna film another one okay so FINA the end of you potty for a while and a lot tonight I reckon I have a system where they'll cut all the vegetables into perfect little shapes and then he'll go chill and I'll just put it all together and it's the best system because I get bored cutting and peeling vegetables and he likes cutting and peeling them and putting them in cute little shapes and then it's just like boom easy done and then when after I cook he's just like well I mean thanks for the meal it's so good I'm like hey little did you know I did the easy pot here's the knob it's cooking in the pot we're doing chunk on my bed tonight so away we go oh here's an of it and we're watching butter in there 9ye okay it's now 1042 I posted the video I've been editing vlogmas the first week still going but I got some stuff to film tomorrow for it I will see you tomorrow when from a very very sunny warm house look at that oh so much Sun I got to do the washing up and I gotta hang the washing out it is Saturday Saturday hey um I've spent the morning cleaning so house is all clean the washing is out it's all drying and I just I did the washing up and now I've put on some potato and leek soup and while it's cooking I'm gonna work out a little bit because I need to I have barely moved its entire time so I gotta gotta work out a little bit save my health save my legs save my but say myself the soup is pretty much good to go I don't have any bread or anything so I might just have it as it is it should be fine in the fire further by sharing you mean in which is compared to Marlon Wayans character in white boxes I feel more loose and relaxed than ever [Music] [Applause] usual Emma Skye and with a quick formula I'm sorry oh yeah getting some yourself I keeps doing this thing [Laughter] [Music] hi I'm currently in awoka-woka now otto karakurt is where my old house used to be I came here for a job this morning so I thought I'd go on a little memory memory lane walk how would you call it it's interesting walking down here after living in a different area for such a long time now because this is the first area I really lived in after I came to Japan and it's got such a different feeling to it to where I lived after that it's actually quite old a lot of the buildings around here are quite old suddenly quite rundown I was thinking like maybe I should go to an old maybe a favorite restaurant I used to go to or something but I don't know if I had any favorite restaurants I didn't actually know that much about all the stuff in my area but I remember exploring and exploring and I just never found that much but there's a shopping street near my old house so I'm gonna aim for that [Music] now it's actually been about two years since I've been back here which is crazy two whole years now a decocker is on the east side of tokyo i believe which has a completely different feel to the rest of tokyo God the Sun is so bright oh the shade sealed fruit market I used to go to I'm forgetting the layout of everything I said oh my grocery shopping here and over there as well but it was more expensive in there I think yeah actually I recently looked at the listing for this place on on the website of the agency and they're charging more for it than what I got it for oh my god here it is there it is this my old building just as it was when I left you can see like this there's some of the rooms in there actually bigger than what I had so I'll show you where I used to live I was the second so not this one but the next one that was the tiny apartment and so one of the reasons that I went crazy is because there's this other building exactly opposite no Sun could get through so I only got in some seasons like I don't know two minutes of Sun that would come through okay so the moment of direct sunlight has hit look at that there are a lot of stray cats are hung out in there too yeah Wow all the way in there good times I won't go in there because they always had a nightmare that I'd have my curtains open in someone would just walk down this weird corridor but I won't do that to anyone pretty crazy well that's where I used to live now I remember when I came here I was so excited I loved this place more than anything and the reason that I love this place more than anything is because at before I came to this apartment I was in a smaller apartment with no windows it was not an apartment was a closet [Music] only seven days until I go to when your apartment where I have a kitchen to myself bathroom to myself a loft of balcony door sounds amazing but it could be horrible because I've never seen the place so that's gonna be an adventure so to come to this place I was just it was huge to me I was like wow I have my own apartment I was a little balcony I'm living in Japan this is amazing it was making my dream so I think that helped and it was my first neighborhood as well as like wow this store this is my store and everything so this place always felt kind of magical when I first came here then eventually I moved to a different area and I found out just how nice places can be so I'm trying not to trash this area it's just now that I've moved on I realize how small everything was and how much better I have it now so I guess that's the way to put it yeah I do love this place because it helped me get a career and helped me it's so many ways in life so thank you I thought this wasn't even tiles I'm very thankful to this place it's good to come back have a little refresher remember where I came from good bye it's what metres goodbye for the second time [Music]
