[Applause] [Music] you [Music] so i showed you before in an earlier video this is my new set of pallet forks i took the forks off and this is one feature i really like about these forks is they come with a built-in two inch receiver here and i just showed you i could uh move a trailer very easily by putting ball hitch on the front but also i have what's called a uh it's called a jaw boss i i misnamed it in the earlier video i called it something else anyway the jaw boss is set up and these are extremely sharp teeth to hold a pretty decent sized log but uh fit it right here in the receiver and uh i'm going to show you how this works but basically stick the butt of the log in here and with it on the front of the tractor i can lift that log and i can put it anywhere i want to cut it up and buck it up into pieces so let me show you how that works right now [Music] [Music] oh [Music] [Music] [Music] well would you look at that it's all gone oh it's not gone it's piled up over here holy crap that's a lot of splitting okay so now that i've gotten to use the new redline pallet fork so i'll do a little side by side comparison these forks are heavier they weigh more these forks are lighter you can lift more these forks have removable tines but they are not adjustable in and out these forks are removable and they are adjustable that's a huge deal to be able to pick up smaller things for being able to pick up trees that you're about to plant which i i'm gonna do more i'm sure uh you can adjust the tines in and pick up the root ball with with these it's it's unlimited what you can do not unlimited but there's a great deal more you can do because you can adjust the tines it's a huge deal another thing that i noticed you know i mounted that camera on there so i could see my tines well these are wide open i can see straight through i can see the tips of the tines and it's fantastic for going straight into the palette without jamming it into things i would jam these things i've damaged the siding on the house i have damaged i don't know there's countless stuff just because i couldn't see the tips of the tines because this is solid you cannot see through it so i was going to mount the camera on for well i don't need to do that anymore this is wide open and it works great the uh one bonus feature of course is this two inch receiver and uh you saw use that for the jaw boss to be able to hold branches i can use it for a trailer hitch to move trailers around now this is priced about twice as much as what this is but uh and has more than twice the capability of what these titan forks do so all in all i think it's a great purchase i'm not saying that i wish i'd bought these first i didn't have the money to get these when i bought these and it's just the way it works so i'm gonna paint these up make them look nice and probably sell them to the next lucky guy at a discount anyway so next i'm going to hook up a brand new attachment to the tractor and uh i can't wait to show it to you and give you a review on that so one of the things i do use the tractor for is to clear some of our land we own three acres here and when we moved in i'd say probably two of it was all woods and we're trying to make a bigger backyard and i've used the tractor uh with a piranha blade on the front bucket to scoop in and and dig out brush and some small trees stuff like this this this stuff right here but it's it's not it's not easy even with the piranha blade um it doesn't come out all the time and uh so i i would use this now this is not the new exciting implement that i'm about to show you but this was what i'd use it it's spring-loaded and you see it's got teeth on it and it grabs a hold of the bush or branch or whatever you're pulling a little tree and then you can drag it out and grab it right out with the tractor well you have to get on the tractor get off the tractor connect this up hook it to the chain blah blah blah and if it doesn't pull it out or if it slips off then you repeat the process you keep going and if the roots are too strong well then you got to get off and i've been using a sawzall to cut around and get the roots and eventually it pulls it out so to make things a whole lot easier i hope i got one of these this my friends is what's called a stump bucket now this is made by titan attachments the same as my old pallet forks that i replaced the pallet forks were made well i expect that this is made well the the welds look good everything looks strong it's thick steel i think the weakest point would probably be this front tip this point here might bend if i got into something too too difficult or hit too big of a rock or something but these are some sharp jagged points you wouldn't want to hit your leg on this thing walking around uh and and it from what i've read from guys that have used these these are beasts so certainly for the little stuff i'm about to get into it should be absolutely amazing uh but where it'll really really be tested is when i get some smaller trees and i need to rip the stumps out so anyway i'm gonna get started and uh you guys are gonna see the first time that i use this and see how well it works on that scrub all right here we go low range four-wheel drive i'll give it a little a little boost here i'm gonna start small i can see the see the point of it so i can see where it's going in that's great yeah trying to get it right in the center i'm gonna come back a little bit take a bigger bite yeah there it goes that's doing it that's doing it [Music] oh yeah that's what i'm talking about right there about hit the camera i did it the camera i got some roots stuck up in here look at that this thing this thing right here that that would have just been almost impossible i would have been digging around that with sawzall and everything that worked really well [Music] now listen come on out of there there it comes i'm losing it keep coming if this thing had a hydraulic thumb to be able to grab stuff that you rip out wow would that be awesome but this is pretty impressive just ripping a whole tree out of the ground didn't even cut it down just ripped it out all right so initial impressions are this is pretty damn good it does a great job you know i put you in fast forward there i did a time lapse and uh as you saw there went too fast this actually went through all that scrub like it was nothing even dug out this stump as a whole tree now i want to do one more i'm going to do it in real time and i'm doing it as a stump i cut this off i left a high stump so i could still push on it it's nice to have that leverage once you get the roots broken up to push that over but show you how it actually works on a stump this is probably six to eight inches at the bottom so it's a decent sized stump it's an ash tree uh not quite dead yet but it was getting there so anyway i'm gonna set you up and show you this in real time and i practiced with it a little bit more i wasn't being aggressive enough with it at first when i was trying to take out that small stuff you know i just hadn't used it yet [Music] [Music] wow [Music] those teeth on the side help a bunch to rip the roots it would be better if i could see exactly what that but i'm getting a feel for what i'm doing here it's kind of like when you're digging with the regular sized bucket you can kind of feel what the tractor is doing and when it needs to be adjusted it definitely helps to have room to go backwards and forwards now i dug on one side of it just like when you're using an excavator to knock down a tree you dig one side dig the other side of course the farther out from the stump you are the thinner the roots are so if you can't quite break there go out a little more [Music] just uh try and saw through those things something's about to give there yeah you can see it moving all right i'm going to come on this side of it again you just got to keep working at it you know break one route break another [Music] you know the cost of this is about the same as the rental of an excavator and a mini x a very small mini x and i get to keep this when i'm done so go out a little farther if i can get through some of that stuff out smaller hooked on something there that's a big route yeah it also helps if you can get around to different sides of it i really only have two sides to work from here keep digging down digging down [Music] you can see it moving just a little bit [Music] dump some of this dirt over here give me something to drive on [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] ah this one's a little bit bigger than that other one was it's a little more difficult okay i have to come out a little more [Music] here [Music] those are pretty big i'm gonna try pushing on it a little bit see what happens oh there we go see this is why i leave the stump high right here this is going to help a bunch if i can get centered on it there we go oh yeah see this is easier with an actual with the other bucket because i got to get just the point there we go well that sure helped let's see what i can get now underneath it something right there [Music] i'm using the top teeth on it to saw through [Music] oh it would be nice if i maybe i need to get to that other side over there [Music] i'm gonna dig this a little farther [Music] that's better at least all right i am going to try to come at it from a different angle start digging over here [Music] that's a big route [Applause] i kind of wonder if i took my angle grinder and uh sharpened it a little bit what would happen [Music] that's not doing anything got to get these roots over here and i got this brand new arborvitae bush right next to it that i don't want to hurt oh i broke something there something's given [Music] that's part of the problem i can't see where the bucket is but i know there's a big root here right there [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] man that is a big big root [Music] ah [Applause] [Music] i mean it's not doing anything with it oh a little bit there [Music] [Applause] all right let's try over here a little bit more [Music] [Music] got to say the best thing about this is i am not expending any effort whatsoever it is 86 degrees and i'm not really even breaking a sweat that's the best part i'm digging out a stump and i'm not exerting anything i think we're starting to get somewhere now on this side [Music] some more of this dirt out of the way [Music] [Music] ah [Music] man if i could get that one root right there [Music] trust [Music] it's huge probably three inches around maybe [Music] now it's getting there there it is there it goes right there just broke it now let's see what happens dig under it a little more [Music] some of those bottom roots [Music] there it goes [Music] come on come on there we go a little more room all right well just to wrap this up uh impressed with it it does what it's supposed to do dig a stump out however long it takes is how long it takes it's doing all the work for me i think it's limited only by the power of the tractor if i had a b series instead of a bx i'd probably get that stump out in less than half the time so uh like i say it beats renting a mini excavator because this is here i own it and i can cut out and rip out any of these stumps that i want to just matter how long i have to work on it and how big of a hole i want to dig so anyway the titan uh light duty stump bucket thumbs up i like it it's doing what it's supposed to do uh also be pretty good for digging a trench i think if i wanted to bury some conduit run a wire anything like that so uh yeah i think there's gonna be a lot of good uses for it anyway appreciate you watching if you like what you see hit the subscribe button the like button and all those other buttons and uh sam will be doing more stuff with more stuff now that he has more stuff sam's doing more stuff anyway i'll talk to you later see you next time
