Thermochrome varnish. I use a hair dryer to dry thermochrome varnish. I use an open flame to activate thermochromic varnish. Sandblasting. Degreasing. Powder paint. Sandblasting. Acrylic paint. Thermochrome varnish. Powdered chrome These parts need to be replaced. I made new parts using a lathe. Powder paint. Super strong two component glue. The glue hardens instantly at 90 degrees. No handle. I made the new handle on a lathe. I'll powder coat the handle. All that remains is to restore the numbers. Water. Lemon acid. Hydrogen peroxy. Leave for 24 hours to remove rust. Baking soda to neutralize the effects of the acid. I will remove the old glue and paper with a sandblaster. Acrylic paint. For I'll use a fiber laser to create the numbers. Liquid for cold bluing.
