Rescuing Belle the Puppy Farm Survivor - Part 1

it's time to talk about Belle and how she ended up being signed over to Spirit of the dog rescue after the most horrendous ordeal the start of her story is not very nice but we promise if you keep watching there will be a happy ending in November of 2023 a Facebook post went up about a dog who'd been found straying believed to be abandoned she was described as cold and distressed but thankfully the person who was in charge of deciding what to do next made the right move when they took her straight to mediva in south end where the staff acted quickly to save her life they were absolutely horrified to discover that Not only was she pregnant but the puppy she was carrying was stuck in her birth canal and had passed away she was unable to give birth and in a really dangerous situation and whilst there was a long road of physical and emotional recovery ahead she survived this wasn't an isolated incident because 5 months beforehand another dog who looked very similar to Belle was dumped in the same location in a similar physical condition if you have any information about this please please contact the rspca where Violet was taken and rehabilitated both of these beautiful dogs found foster homes for the next stage of their Journey here's a picture of violet and as for Belle she went to her temporary placement with the mom of one of the lovely vet nurses who'd been looking after her in part two of Belle's video diary series we're going to be looking at how she got on in foster care which we believe was the first time she'd ever been in a home environment you'll then be able to follow the highs and lows of her journey to adoption with Spirit of the dog rescue and learn about how her medical bills ended up totaling £ 1,27 85 a total which we will now be actively fundraising to recuperate so that we can help the next dog to come into our care
