RESCUE ON DIGGER by BSF Recovery Team

[Music] [Music] hi there welcome to BSF recovery team Saturday morning a whole bunch of rings out on the trail we gotta go to work we're heading up bigger some about a Chevy truck that broke a hydraulic steering ram my neck we're on our way out there merely get a backup even using our tow truck shortcuts quite a long trail out to deer and most of it is downhill which means it's uphill on the way back hey I know you morning serious issues my top my steering-rocket split in two always I got nothing holding the driver's side front tire to the truck it would take weight off but okay and if I Drive back and off the point of that then give dick now just exactly know if like I could maybe Brian ranted strap well that nothing left on top of the buckle of a for anti strap to I think what we can do is think we can try and backpacker down from the top pick it up and then get it down backwards we might have to do [Music] Oh little run the ropes takedown is like a slide if I pop on it all right yeah I mean if we have a width Ridge Hill as we're back and it's real or just something bullying you know to keep it on the trail but yeah I don't want to slide the record off of that mound either no I didn't make it easy this for sure all right okay I'll try all because I thought this out for the day yeah I got over that first month for the started fresh green exam three one two back up this one turns on one end front wheel would first our hotdogs do that somebody surprise I figure maybe ahead erotic come on steering Graham yeah it's not for the puffed up but without okay alright well we'll go up and around and we'll back down from the top and now do all we can do did you got any ratchet straps with oh yeah I have a couple yep yeah yep great so you Betty you bet okay haul our first can be economically well back it down to it and back down to it perfectly centered because once I get to it I'm not going to be able to go forward what do we got here 850 oh my that one's not connected to nothing Megan look good how make it look like it works is our priest recovery of the day so I don't even have roadside assistance towing on this vehicle oh I want to rethink it huh this is triple-a Eric's going to come around the top and hook up [Music] here comes the record coming down the hill [Applause] they say lockers all right Eric had to take the long way around the wrecker couldn't come up as big now we'll see how well it does coming down the big hill let's go back heavy I would like to keep all my limbs [Music] for anymore you you are if we were [Music] so I'm gonna close up [Music] sanded so soft in the hill is so steep I can't in quite go forward get centered on the truck so what we're going to do is we're going to winch the front of the wrecker side words a little bit so the Hulk is centered better on the truck in order now they're in position he attracted all that's on there [Music] when trailers [Music] yeah what state cover complaining about [Music] no one job make sure my coffee doesn't spill you can't even do that so here's the problem we got this steering knuckle broke right in half and now it's no longer be able to support the weight of this tire and or steer the truck so we got to get it down off of this hill now there's no way I'm going to go forward you're towing a truck in this soft sand so we got to go backwards Orange make sure that we don't roll over on our side as we're coming down you couldn't put in a better spot good job site squat they're going to hook the back end up to the Jeep so it doesn't tip over sideways Delmas rather steep and precarious he'll do Hill here I see the points of desperation dear like Stephanie now you got to be on this side or have other refresh well he did slightly you got in this craps got to be on that side of yeah you can hook it to the T for exact I just put over your wanted hey hey he's going to do it in sauce down and once I start solving it hopefully it'll be hopefully we can stay on this Ridge not where you aren't trying to give a Yank now I know he's not going to move it now okay no probably not all right here's where the fun begins get the show on the road no off the road I know there isn't that's why we're out here [Music] oh boy gold hey over here over here by me our [Music] we're moving the deep a little to try and get a better angle to pull the truck down Zoe's pulling down and sideways to try and keep it from rolling but also provide a little more momentum to get them down the hill it's hard for anybody to get traction in the soft sand here you I know it's hard to tell from this camera angle but I was pushing with director I wasn't pushing too hard because all the wanted to do was raise the front end of the orange truck and spin the tires in a wrecker and dig further deep into the sand better go dig him out or I am hope you brought a shovel almost like he is pushing back go back quite straight with people yeah remark I still look like that's going to run me over so for the camera all the sand hasn't stopped up there and Ryan didn't bring a shovel so improvise we don't have a shovel you worry about when I get there okay now they're going to try a jerk maneuvers if they can yank him through the sand pile Eric's also going to lower the front end a little bit to try and help prevent some of that big without going on at the mountain area even with the orange truck in neutral and the rear tire is able to roll and the team pullin on the bottom it still wasn't enough to get that aren't struck through all that soft scene we got progress [Music] you fart out on forgive us to look the wrecker looks like it could very well roll the front end is off the ground as we can see from down at the bottom of the hill the records now upload a little bit of off the ground X in here the other side the other side up to watching the side hard to see toes of the Sun but that left side up in the air fortunately right side is still on the ground but we're approaching the steep part of the hill that is very sheer on one side our goal here will be try to make the record not roll over then we'd have to call scuba I don't want that [Music] top knowledge is all it took just over ah shucks well it took me a little while to think of what to do but I had an idea yeah [Applause] [Music] we are [Music] I'll pencil a table backwards they're traded out the cable for chains on that truck who is going to use the cable to hook up to a tree on the side try and keep himself from rolling over as they try and get down the hill let's go take a look [Music] you we go turn off okay right here we'll go down there in a second [Music] well we made it down now we got this guy in the soup hey well we got the orange truck and a wrecker down off the hill without rolling either one over but now we got a stuck one to get out too and we still have to get the orange truck out of the woods and back to camp well join us next week for part two of this
