Repairing a typical ABS Sensor fault on several Volkswagen, Audi and Seat models

welcome to male TV today I want to introduce to you our new Maile ABS repair kit this kit is comprised of several parts we have two different ABS sensor rings a new abs sensor retaining bolt for the wheel hub and the closure cap as well as a detailed instruction how to fit those parts on several of Volkswagen and Audi models we have a common problem on the rear axle sometimes there's an ABS fault and it's showing a defective ABS sensor the cause of the problem is not the ABS sensor itself the cause of the problem is ineffective ABS sensor ring these sensor rings are fitted on the wheel hub and when they rust like this example here and they grind off the ABS sensor usually in the past you had to replace the whole wheel hub itself but now with our kit you have a cost-effective solution where you just repair the defective part some of you might ask why there are two different ABS sensor ring in the kit factory wise one car can come with two different wheel hubs from two different suppliers each supplier uses a specific ABS sensor ring during the repair you just pick the right one how to do the repair I'll show you now on the car [Music] [Music] [Music] before we take off the wheel hub we have to make sure now while taking it off to put pressure on the bearing so no dust particles or dirt particles can enter the bearing itself apply pressure with your fingers towards the bearing so the bearing doesn't open up now after we have taken out the wheel up from the car we can put it in a vise and remove the magnetic ring we have to take a lot of care to work quite clean so no dust particles can enter the bearing [Music] we take now the old abs censoring and compare it with the boasts sensor rings out of the set it's quite easy to spot which one is the fitting one and now after we've chosen the correct abs ring we can install it again [Music] you [Music] after we installed now the new wheel speed sensor we now install the wheel hub with its new ABS sensor ring a new bolt has to be used tightening torque here 200 Newton meters plus 180 degrees [Music] now we put everything back in reverse order first the closure cap brake disc brake caliper and then at the end the wheel and then job is done
