should help reduce the amount of alerts you get i want to thank real link for sending over the camera for my honest review even though this product was sent to me free of charge any opinion expressed in this video is strictly my own in this video we're going to be checking out what's in the box run through the setup look through the app and see how well it performs first out the box we have the quick start guide and surveillance sticker a mounting template with some screws a waterproof lid to cover the network cable a three foot network cable the power adapter and a 15 foot extension cord the antennas and the reeling 510wa taking a closer look at the camera the case is made of a solid aluminum when the camera is fully extended it's about seven and a half inches long loosening the adjustment screw allows you to rotate the camera and adjust the angle up to 90 degrees to get the best field of view on the front there's the lens and 18 infrared sensors and the daylight sensor on the back there's two connectors to screw on the antennas and then there's the micro sd card slot which can only be removed with a screwdriver on the cable we have the reset button holding it down for 10 seconds will restore it to factory settings then there's a network jack that you'll use to get your camera set up or if you prefer you could use a hardwired connection instead of wireless connection and then we have the connector for the power supply before starting the setup you'll need to have the real link app installed on your phone and that the camera is powered on and connected to a router via the network cable once that's done launch the real link app and add the device by pressing the plus sign on the top right hand side scan the qr code found on the camera and follow the on-screen instructions to create your camera password going through the remainder of the setup you're also going to name your camera connect to your wi-fi of choice and if you have an sd card inserted you'll have to format it before you continue once the format is completed you're ready to start using your camera next let's check out the settings in the app on the main landing page you'll see thumbnails of all your connected real leg cameras and the image that the camera last saw clicking on the thumbnail will start the live view establishing the connection to the live view is very fast and a noticeable improvement compared to my real link 410ws checking out the options below the live view you can pause the live view you can turn the camera microphone on or off take a picture of the live view which saves the jpeg to your device record video in real time which saves an mp4 to your device change the live view resolution between fluent balanced and 5 megapixel and the last option on the row will allow you to expand the live view into full screen selecting the clip option allows you to zoom in on areas in your live view playback is where you go to view and download automatically recorded footage just below you have an option for show alarm videos only in this section you can take advantage of the person and vehicle detection and limit the view of your recorded alerts to any motion person vehicle or any combination of the three going back to the top and clicking the gear icon will take you into additional settings clicking on the tile with your camera name and model you'll be able to rename your camera view device info format the sd card and update your camera to the latest firmware back on the main settings page you can switch to another wi-fi connection change your camera view settings under display including adjusting the resolution frame rate and max bitrate for your view profiles under motion detection you could adjust the motion sensitivity from low to high create motion areas so if you have an area you don't want to detect motion just block it out turn on or off camera recordings as well as create recording schedules and utilize the ai to only record people and vehicles coming into the frame for push schedule you can set the app to send alerts during a specified schedule and for the type of motion detected and going a bit further down you also have the option to share your camera create a time lapse see some more advanced features and you have the ability to delete the camera next let's take a look at some video samples under a few different lighting conditions with the microphone on for reference i have the camera set up about nine feet off the ground and pointing slightly down testing the microphone on the real link 510w [Music] [Music] as you just saw with the daytime footage holding the license plate directly in front of the camera at 20 feet you're going to be able to read most license plates without issue as for the knight footage with the garage lights both on and off you're not going to be able to make out the license plate one of my favorite features is being able to limit your push notifications based on motion from a person vehicle or any within a few seconds of detecting your selection in its view you'll receive an alert on your device another highly convenient feature is being able to utilize google assistant to view a live feed from your camera on your chromecast or smart display show me the garage i hope you enjoyed the video and if you did hit the like button and consider subscribing to the channel thanks for watching and i'll see you on the next one you
