hey everybody rob from karma karma chameleon today we're looking at a couple of entitled parent stories first one father thinks physical therapy center is a jungle gym let's jump right in please hit that subscribe button for more daily reddit stories a couple months ago my husband and I move States and I started a new job at a physical therapy center in our new city since starting there everything has been going well until Thursday a woman who's been going to the center for a few weeks after a serious surgery usually came by herself Thursday however she brought her husband and four-year-old son apparently the husband normally works during the week and the boy goes to daycare but today the husband had the day off and decided he wanted to see what his wife was doing every week it's not unusual for a family to come in every now and then to watch their loved ones progress I wasn't an active participant in this as I was with the patient but the space was open and I could see and hear everything the second this family walks in or in the wife's case wheels in the kids start shouting ball ball ball and all but Sprint's over to the large exercise balls he tries to pick one up but it's too heavy so he just starts pushing them into each other and making them roll all over the room not good strike one while the reception lady was checking the woman in she asked the husband to get the son as he was making a mess to this the husband replied he's fine he's not hurting anyone the wife told him not to argue and get the kid he huffed but dragged the little boy away from the balls at this he started having a tantrum strike number two the wife side but greeted her trainer and was ready to get to her routine the husband was asked to stay in the waiting area with the kid but could still see everything just fine however he didn't like being told what to do insisting that I should be able to be with my wife we came here to support her after all this did not sit well with the reception lady and she sis 'td it was for safety but the husband didn't care during all this the man is holding on to the boy who is still crying and trying to break free of his father oh come on he's bored just let the kid play he won't bother anyone nope not going to happen the reception makes it very clear that if the man lets his child into the work area he'll be asked to wait outside the wife could hear her and shout it at her husband to stop being lazy that was pretty funny the man now embarrassed just sits down and keeps the kid in his lap or tries to the kid breaks free and starts trying to climb on the nearest machine one of the guys that had just finished up with a patient saw this and rushed over to grab the kid the husband didn't like that and told him don't touch my son he's just playing and with that we have strike three the reception lady stands up from her desk and gets right in this man's face she informed him that he will now have to take his son and wait outside the center for the rest of his wife's appointment also that he was no longer allowed to come to the center unless they had a sitter the wife was done with her husband and told him to just go home and she'd call him when she was finished the husband tries to protest but his wife shut him down with I told you this was a bad idea now stop being stupid and do what you're told with that the man grabbed the kid and left boy was that satisfying to watch at the end of her session the woman apologized for her husband and son she said the husband refused to bring anything to entertain their kid because he figured we'd have a play area even though the mom told him we didn't the entire thing lasted maybe fifteen minutes which i think is some kind of record she also promised she wouldn't bring her family again all in all not terrible but very annoying interesting how the parents of this child are actually compatible with each other with the father and mother who have two completely different parenting styles it's made pretty obvious early on that the father doesn't trust the mother either because he's said he thought there might be a play area there even though she told him that there wasn't so did he have to find that out for himself he couldn't take his wife at her word sounds like a pretty toxic relationship to me I hope that kid turns out alright in the end but it sounds to me like that's gonna be a tough situation on to our next story your albino those toddlers don't belong to you entitled mother thinks my friends kids aren't biologically hers let's jump right in alrighty this happened about a month ago and my friend and I are still trying to figure out what in the hell was going on in this woman's mind now before you say this is fake hear me out this is a freaking Karen we're talking about after all important background my friend let's call her Ellie is 24 and the mother of twin boys I'll call them Matthias and Michael Ellie stands about five seven and is one of the rare albinos out in the world she also happens to be a German Canadian mutt as she so proudly puts it herself laugh out loud her boyfriend let's call him van is the father of Matthias and Michael and the fiance of Ellie van just so happens to be Russian he stands about six foot seven and his dark haired and dark blue-eyed so needless to say Matthias and Michael got their dad's genetics and are pretty much carbon copies of him this becomes important since Ellie and Vans little boys stand out so much from Ellie so I guess it makes sense to think she's not their mom if van isn't around even though the boys are pretty much constantly glued to their mothers hands or hips when they're out and about anywho Ellie and I have been friends for just a little longer than her boys have been around so roughly five years she also happens to be six years older than me I'm 18 we met online through a long-distance buddy type app and we hit it off right away at one point I even had a crush on her but quickly got over it after she hooked up with man whom was her lifelong friend so Ellie had come out to visit me with her boys and it was a pretty long trip from Germany to the United States for them van opted to stay home so someone was there to mind the cats and keep the house clean he's also a shy grouchy mofo that's only just now warming up to me after all this time since everyone was so tired I told Elly to not worry about getting a rental car the first day and I would just handle it I had old car seats from my cousins with older children so that was taken care of we chose to go out to eat shortly after Elly and her boys got checked into the hotel and had a nap with that being said on to the story story the background was long AF we got to the restaurant and situated and we're looking through the menus Elly's boys were pretty well behaved for three years old so really all they had to do was point out to mommy what they wanted wasn't too much of a hassle I let Michael sit up on my lap and doodle on the back of the piece of paper they used as a placemat when we hear it the sound of a wild Karen in her natural habitat a public space karen approaches us with her hands placed on her hips and a glare of daggers excuse me but I couldn't help but notice that you two have two babies that don't belong to you would you mind handing them over so I can return them to their mother pretending she doesn't know English and says in German what the hell did she say stifling laughter lady these are her kids she and these boys hardly speak English either they came to visit from Germany Teheran is starting to get impatient nonsense she's pale as a ghost with gray hair and pink eyes those boys have black hair and blue eyes there's no way this woman is their mother maybe that's because their dad happens to have dark hair and eyes ever think of that oh then where's the baby daddy probably left this pale piece of crap I mean look at her Ellie is honestly one of the most beautiful women I have ever met even for how pale she is so where Karen got this notion I have no idea getting visibly angry still in German listen here you fat cow these are my boys and my fiance is very much at home so stop team berating me and calling me names and stop harassing my babies my friend and I what the hell is she saying is she making fun of me oh she is definitely making fun of you she also said to leave bless the hell alone and stop harassing us give me those boys so I can find their real mother in English this time you just said that my baby daddy left me for being a pale piece of crap and you still don't think Mikey and Maddie are mine what the hell is wrong with you you freaking cow I want a manager like hell you're getting a manager you're going back to your goddamn table and you are staying there you dense whale if you so much as get backup to bother us then I will sure as hell get arrested for breaking your arm gasps and just waddles back to her table defeated sigh with relief eventually the embarrassed teen comes over to her table and apparently she had heard the whole interaction between us and her mother this is the following conversation uh hey um I'm sorry that my mom was harassing you so much she does this all the time but if it's not too much to ask could you please not break her arm she kind of needs that proceed to snicker profusely nakid I won't break her arm I'm just a mama bear trying to protect her cubs that's all believe it or not these two chunky monkeys belong to me giggles a bit and waves to the oblivious toddlers okay I was just making sure that you weren't gonna do anything again I'm sorry bye-bye babies bye bye weird lady they wave she had a bright purple fauxhawk nice to see kids still dressing like that other than the wild Karen going for the throat dinner was pretty nice Mikey and Maddie each got their own little ice creams for being so behaved and even got a bath from Auntie Bree me back at the hotel sorry this didn't involve police or a manager or anything crazy or expectant like that but seeing Ellie go full-on mama bear and sending a Karen with her tail tucked between her legs is a satisfying end for me as well as happy and not cranky little boys that's always a big ol bonus as I see in a lot of these entitled parent stories I don't think this is really an entitled parent I think it's a lady who has some severe mental issues I mean who in their right mind goes up to someone and says they're going to take away their kids because they don't look like the people sitting at
