Recreating Instagram Hairstyles

[Music] oops I'm in the frame today we are doing something that we did probably like a year ago when I followed Pinterest hair tutorials but today I'm going to follow Instagram hair tutorials and my hair is in rare form right now because I just got back from Hawaii and I've been out in the Sun out in the ocean it's kind of just a mess so I thought there isn't a better time to do a hair tutorial than when your hair's a mess you know what I mean I do think it's gonna go better than it went last time because my hair is healthier than it was last time and it's a little bit softer and easier to before last time I did the Pinterest hair tutorials this time I'm going to do Instagram hair tutorials which I realize are a lot harder to follow then the its benefit so I've realized the Instagram tutorials are a lot more difficult than the Pinterest ones that people do in here on Instagram are extremely serious about it and there we've got some intricate stuff happening so I'm just gonna dive right in take my hair out of this bun it's been in this bun all day so it's get definitely going to be in rare form right now perfect so the first is hair style I'm gonna start out with is this hair bow I didn't just come across it I specifically looked up the hair bow because I find it to be um kind of amazing I've always been super intrigued by a hair bow and also I've never really been able to do one but I'm feeling really good about it today Oh also I'm going to have Kody come in like last time and rate my hairstyles although they are all probably going to be 10 out of 10 it doesn't hurt to get a little rating once in a while you know what I mean also a lot of a lot of these tutorials use like spray and brushes and all of that but the only thing we need to use is hair ties and bobby pins because it's really just that simple and gentlemen and anyone who's listening first things first the hair bow we're gonna get a nice slicked-back pony hey no bumps no rode hairs Oh once you've got your nice slicked-back pony you're gonna tie it up Pony check ok then they put another hair tie oh they put the hair tie and then do like a messy bun with the hair going oh ok start over once again ponytail and then you go in with the next hair tie and do how do we do this but I'm confused I don't understand okay third time's a charm okay so you put it in like this and like this and then you bring it to the front and then you do it like that that's what I'm talking about then you take this hair and you put it use bobby pin it and you make a little bit more bow right and there you go all right let's say Cody you here to rate this Cody you know what you actually did a pretty good job I did do a good job right it does look pretty good it looks so good yeah I get that I give that a pretty strong eight all right I mean it's really just that simple next up this one says sometimes you can't get an appointment and just gotta do it yourself okay that's that has never been a thought that I've had but alright so she's doing like a half up half down and then oh she's putting one of those donut things in and then separating it and teasing it twisting it putting it around the donut make a little crown how much hair does she have okay and then she's now doing less comb-over braids oh my god if I ever showed up somewhere with this alright so she's not she's doing a braid all the way around she's got a couple braid crowns a nice donut hat and some strands of hair and she is just okay I don't have a donut thing so we're gonna just try our best without it I also don't have nearly as much hair as as this Queen but who needs it so I'm just gonna do exactly what she does in the video okay so she has it parted down the middle just like that and then she leaves some down then she takes like a nice put pop down right like that and then she puts the donut thing in which we don't have so and then she separates it and then separates it we're not gonna tease this cuz I don't think it needs that and then she twists he is minor just a little bit smaller than hers she twists it and then brings it around see this is where the donut thing comes in handy but it's fine I'm gonna take the other side and twist that side and then bring that around perfect okay and then after she does her Donuts which mine's a little bit more like a croissant kind of but what OH I was supposed to leave some hair down but it's okay I could use this you know what I'm gonna keep my strands together with a hair tie while I do the braiding yeah gonna brave this and then bring it around like that oh oh boy this is a serious disaster how did she do this so well also where did she get all that hair from my bridge isn't going okay well this braid goes to right there so I'm gonna just it goes to the middle if my head hurts goes all the way across but I'm gonna just pin this one in and then do I am confused so she goes around the back at some point maybe I'll do that I'll do that with this and then I'll bring it around to this side yeah that'll be perfect keep taking keep taking hair hopefully you guys are gonna make a view of this right now so then you bring your other braid across the front mm-hmm and then you get your bangs oops I accidentally included one side of my bangs oh there we go there it is this portion right here that's where the donut supposed to be in these one brain there and one going around the back up it's just that simple people Cody come check it out okay it is yeah here's what it's supposed to be see the donut part that's this yeah you see my brains yeah oh yeah pretty yeah yeah you look like a young Aaron Carter all right nothing like a fresh clean slate to do the next beautiful hairstyle okay so these are just some easy-peasy space buns no basically have two donuts on each side of her head so she separates it and then she puts two pigtails and okay oh but she left two strands down so I'm just gonna one strand two strands so now here are my two pigtails okay so now you tie them on the bottom cool so then you split it then you roll it up and then you pin it well those don't look like perfect donut I tried Cody thanks big donut yeah this might doesn't sound this is what I did she looks like a stupid Princess Leia yeah I look beautiful yeah you look like a the curly version thank you so let's move on I'm feeling very confident after these alrighty we have time for one more three ponies and then she braids the ponies and then she puts them in little buns it's as easy as that alright so you're gonna separate the hair down the middle and leave some strands just to make it nice and loose and beautiful so now I have one two and three then you're gonna braid the all right and then you bum them one by two but three but there they are little buns and I'm beautiful updo this is a good one it looks the same no I'm honestly surprised in how like well you pull it off what's with every hair so having these weird horns you look like a billy goat all right you guys we did it once again I've proven that I am a hair guru if you will there's definitely a bobby pin lost in there somewhere but oh well thanks for watching hope you
