what's going on everybody this is living in arizona and today we are going to talk about why people move to arizona and then leave okay so uh in this video we're also going to talk about the high-speed rail that we had a conversation about last time we are going to also touch on the phoenix suns who are now up on denver three games to know headed into the western conference finals and they'll likely play uh i think utah phoenix vs utah that's going to be a good rivalry right we're also going to talk about the weather and then we're going to talk about the reasons why people come here and leave one of the things that i also had a question come in about is do i know anybody who's into real estate and yes i do svetlana you can contact her i've worked with her in the past and i did put a link in the links below and i also pin the link just let her know that jeff sent you and she'll know exactly what's going on with that uh i do have an affiliate link below uh with her she helped me out before and so i can recommend her to you now uh if you guys are new to living in arizona and you guys want to learn more about arizona we've got tons of videos top small towns that's our most popular video people want more small town videos so we made a part two so those are two small towns reason they want small towns is because they want to know where else to live in arizona which actually ties into some of the main reasons why people move to arizona and then ultimately leave looks like we already got five people who smashed up the likes if you guys are excited about this video hit the like button and help get this video out to a larger audience and then we'll get cranking on this as we get more and more viewers coming in thanks to you guys uh letting us know where you're tuning in from what's up nino what's up drunken chef what's up ava got lots of people tuning in as you can see they're still coming in 10 people now hitting the likes doubled in that many moments all right so like i said if you're new here check it out also check out my other channel islandhoppertv lots of videos over there so this is fidlana and then we're going to talk about this state right here arizona why would someone move to arizona and then after a year or two be like i gotta get out of here whoa uh news 12 one of my favorite uh news channels uh by the way but their video just started auto playing let's talk about the suns first so the suns they just keep rolling take 3-0 lead in denver i went to game two it was great we just beat denver in denver so that's pretty good that we're up 3-0 i mean we're gonna we might even sweep them that's huge any of you guys a sons fan out there do we have any suns fans in the audience i'm also getting ready for the big arizona cardinals uh season those that's our nfl football team so why would people move here and then leave well the number one reasons that i have on this list heat so if we take a look at the uh weather here you could see our hottest month is actually july we're in june it's june 12th uh if you're looking for the very warmest time to visit phoenix the hottest months are july and august and then june so we are about to hit 118 degrees on monday it's 107 today actually it's going to get up to 110 it's 107 right now but tomorrow's going to be 1 15 and monday is going to be 118 and this is not even our hottest month you could see we're going to be well above the 110 mark all the way through a whole week 115 118 117 117 118 118 116. that's the forecast that's the number one reason why people want to get the heck out of phoenix or arizona in general because of the heat in fact right now if you try to go camping up at any one of the parks if you guys just go to this website right here az.gov discover arizona arizona pass visiting arizona they have the arizona state parks on here you can see right here and you can find out where the state parks are the problem is uh most of them are selling out because people are trying to get the heck out of phoenix and tucson right now because of the extreme heat thanks to 22 people who smashed up the likes we've now got 60 viewers thanks to you guys looks like uh latonya says she's tuning in from st louis we've got ruby tuning in from uh salinas and then we have rosa she said came back to phoenix in may 2020 and i'm leaving back to my home in las vegas really you're already leaving that fast why do why are you coming and going so quickly all right so yeah the heat is a big thing but if you're leaving phoenix for vegas you're leaving one hot spot for another hot spot so i don't think it was all about the look how beautiful that looks there's lots of places around arizona like that which is going to lead me into my other point that i'm going to make here this website it's called azstateparks.com if you guys wanted to get on that website at some point later on because they don't actually explore so people come here and they move to arizona but they don't do any exploration they don't check out anything they don't go on the az state parks they don't go up here to the mogeon rim they don't go to the white mountains they don't watch this channel and all of the videos that we've made about things to do across arizona look at this small town tours flagstaff tombstone bisbee sedona jerome i know a bunch of you guys just got a bunch of ideas look it we did arizona road trips epic arizona road trip most scenic drive in arizona oak creek canyon sedona uh oracle the globe miami gold press kit mogee and rip mogeon rim sunset crater uphot key tortilla flat flag i mean we got so much going on here we're the sixth largest state i mean arizona's loaded with things to do but people they move here and they just stay in phoenix and they don't go to sedona they don't go to prescott they don't go check out uh the painted desert they don't go check out the grand canyon they don't go to southern arizona and check out two back and bisbee and all the cool stuff they get bored and they're like there's nothing to do here it could be further from the truth they just don't understand what it is to do that's why they need a channel like this and other resources that are helping them understand there's a lot to do out here to those of you who are willing to uh live life if you want to live life you know you don't have to live life i guess you could stay in your house uh but in that case for those those people who do live in their house they moved out here for cost of living and this is another reason why they want to leave is because they came out here for cost of living and now cost of living has gone way up what's up with that what's going to go what's going on with that guys why is cost of living going up well we've already talked about that because so many people are moving here why are people moving here well we've had a major boom because of uh these electric there are these self-driving car companies lucid motors we're becoming a mega center for semi uh conductor microchips uh these microchip processors taiwan semi semi they're moving out here and then you have lucid motors and and you have nikola motors so big technology scene companies are settling out here from california in phoenix because one big reason the weather and then the second big reason close proximity to mexico so being close to mexico where there's a lot of trade going on in case you guys didn't know the trade capital out of mexico is monterey the major industrial area is um monterey so if you guys are looking for that reasons arizona seems way too hot and it's like it's like a desert yeah it is like a desert it says aldi uh so arizona being close to mexico is one of the reasons why these companies are moving here because they can get cheap products created down in mexico and then quickly imported and also they have a really efficient railroad that goes right through maricopa they're about actually casagrand that's where these these semiconductor or that's actually where the self-driving car plant is is in casa grande and coolidge is where they're building the nikola plant so this area right here is where they're actually building if in fact if we type in lucid motors right here you can see that's actually where their facility is they don't even they're it's such a new building it's not even on the map yet but they are up and moving they're a tesla motors competitor tesla uh they're i believe out of texas nicholas somewhere around here in one of these fill fields so but look at that lucid motors big old facility huh and they actually have a pretty cool looking car i'll have to show you guys on one of the next vlogs thanks to 36 people smashing up the like button i see the comments coming in and someone says they're headed down to rocks rocky point if they want to get out of the heat my sister she's trying to get out of the heat because it's going into the she heard it was going to be 118. she guess where she wants to go san diego i said okay you're gonna go to san diego i wonder how the weather's gonna be down in san diego but actually my favorite southern california town is carlsbad in fact if you guys want to see some of the videos from around california that i made here recently including carlsbad uh you just go onto island hopper i'll show you guys the uh let's see here so i've done several cities san clemente is one of my favorite cities you can watch that walking tour oceanside i'm not too big on oceanside i do like dana point and laguna beach laguna beach is a great one carlsbad is another good one so you can see i've gone all over california making these videos but what i'm saying is when you go when you want to get out of the arizona heat wow okay 12 news just keeps coming up with their auto play right there so anyway carl's bad uh carlsbad mission beach these are places where arizona people go but uh when you get down there they call them zones they don't really like the zones down in san diego because we invade san diego most people would rather live in san diego except they don't want to pay four thousand dollars a month for a house that was built in the 1960s because that's how expensive san diego is in fact this whole area the further south you go is just beautiful if if the united states occupied the baja this whole area this would all probably be right now uh homes i mean it would just be one giant filled in city because it's where people want to live san diego is just the southern part of the united states but if you were to go all the way down into here into like ensenada rosarito right over here it's beautiful but it's mexico so gringos don't really can't really live there so jeffrey says he's watching from chicago does sedona get really hot in the summer yeah in fact if we just check the weather for sedona uh sedona let's just check sedona right here uh sedona is going to be 102 actually on tuesday sedona is going to be 107. so yeah you're not getting too much reprise in sedona if you really wanted some decent weather close not too far away maybe flagstaff will be in the 80s or the 90s yeah see on tuesday flagstaff will be 94. the the north rim of the grand canyon let's see here north rim of the grand canyon it was a hundred and something down in phoenix when i was there and uh it was like 37 when i woke up in the morning in the north rim so it gets into the 50s on the north rim north rim of the grand canyon's over here so which is kind of interesting because it is so close to vegas it's right here so this is the north rim it's hard to get there because you got to go flagstaff up through page and then you wrap them around here vermillion cliffs beautiful area that was the video that i made right here the uh let's see here epic arizona road trip if you watch that it actually is probably one of my favorite videos that we've ever made and it's gotten only 13 000 views it's like the best video if you guys want to explore northern arizona in fact one of the most popular instagram areas this whole area is probably most popular with instagram people so that we have a couple areas up here that people like to explore uh we have horseshoe bend i think horseshoe bend is like right here so there's horseshoe bend right oh right there then you have this thing called the wave so people like this area called the wave let's see if i can find it somewhere over here it's almost in utah they're calling it utah but it's not utah what's this this cave thing people hike out there but you got to get a um you got to get permission it's one of the more instagram places like people come from all over the world to go hike up to this place called the wave anyway yeah it's like sandstone you guys can do some research on it it's they got dinosaur tracks over here you know this whole little area right here it's called the the wave it's right there on the border of utah it's like literally on the border and then they have the vermilion cliffs which people also like uh so thermal camera showing 153 on the dirt yeah i mean we'll see we'll see how hot it really gets 153 degrees on the dirt jeez have you ever been to the four corners is it worth it um the four corners for anyone who doesn't know is where you can actually go to the uh you can stand you basically stand on all fours one lake can be in arizona one leg in new mexico your one hand in colorado on the other hand in utah and so it's right there on the native american reservation it was kind of closed down because of what was going on with the last year but this is it it's temporarily closed actually but that's four corners that's why that's why people like it because four states all in one new mexico arizona utah colorado um it's it's it's really nothing there there's nothing there not a dang thing there i mean it's right on the san juan river but uh if you're gonna go out here you're gonna probably see that uh monument valley that's what people mostly see so other reasons why people move out here and they move is because they miss their families so they come out here they leave their family behind and then they're and then after one or two years goes by one of their family members gets sick and then they're like i gotta i i gotta go back to mom and dad or grandma and grandpa or brother and sister so they move out here and unless their family follows them out here that's one another reason why they leave here's another one that i keep hearing from people now these aren't just necessarily things that i get off the internet these are things i get from you the audience people who talk to me personally they found it hard to make friends uh the the fastest way that i've noticed that people make friends out here uh because i hear this quite often from people who move here is they say how do you meet people how do you get equating acquainted with people and people will say well go to church and then they go to church and they're like okay that wasn't for me it's not that there's anything against church i mean church is cool but you know they go there they might experience a wide variety of different uh personalities and sometimes it just doesn't they don't hit it off right so then someone will say go to aaa and people go to a and they'll be like no i'm not going to aaa so here's the here's the most common way that i've discovered people meet other people they get in these hiking groups so for me as someone who travels around the world even i notice that the most common times i make friends with people is on tours tours so on facebook they have these hiking groups and they have these uh water groups like people who do kayaking or people who do off-roading so anytime you can get into one of these tour groups you know just kind of sign up say hey what do i got to do to show up they'll say well we're gonna meet up at uh walmart on blah blah blah and i-17 bell road and i-17 at seven o'clock in the morning and we're all gonna drive up in this van up to sedona and hike around i don't know happy jack so they go to happy jack and they hike around or whatever whatever you guys want to do or village of oak creek they hike around this whole area around sedona and they just make friends and you know it's it's usually not there's no pressure nobody has any pressure no expectations so those are three groups so getting into kayaking so go getting into the kayak groups on facebook uh water activities uh getting in with the off-road community people who do off-roading it's a little bit more of a tough knuckle crowd so be ready for that kind of you know they're a little bit more rough but then there's the hiking people the hiking people is probably the easiest ones to get to get along with um but anytime you can do any sort of tours local visitor whatever it may be you you i you typically meet people on those because you'll be doing fun activity during the daytime and then you just exchange instagrams and then you say hey uh do you want to go this this week with us on another tour you don't necessarily have to do like a one-on-one with them the second time you hang out see if they want to go on another tour with you while you you go and you know you guys go on tours together and then eventually you guys kind of break off from the tour scene and then you go on your own ways so that's a pretty good way to uh to get out there and have fun and uh so those groups just go onto facebook and just type in hiking in arizona that's really um i mean i i we have a group uh living in arizona now on facebook and i should probably uh create some groups or some activities for people to be able to get together and and go out and have fun because i think when you meet people it makes life a lot better the problem with phoenix is it's so spread out you know you might make friends with somebody who's over in buckeye and you're living over in mesa it's like you might as well be in another state if you're in rhode island in connecticut i mean it's like it's like that it's kind of like that far away um people saying get out we're full well you know that's not exactly the uh the attitude that we want to have i mean there's a lot of places to live in arizona and uh i think most people who say that they don't really mean it i mean they they just don't want you to change their state but you know it's funny when you hear people say that it's not it's not like the most welcoming of gestures it's like if you're gonna have that kind of mindset you might as well never leave your arizona because you're not going to be welcome anywhere else because the karma that you created for yourself is not a very welcoming uh so i'm more of that kind of person that says uh you know hospitality i mean i like the southern hospitality appeal and so i i don't sit here and tell people they can't come here and this and that you know i just don't do that um let's see here um people said they love it here there's not enough water well there is there is a case about not enough water and so some of the other reasons that people are actually leaving is because they can't find work and too much driving which we just talked on i mean phoenix is huge right here you can see surprise peoria glendale phoenix gilbert if you live out in queen creek and you got to go to surprise like if you're dating someone in queen creek and you live in surprise look how far away that is it's huge thankfully thankfully we have a lot of freeways but something bad is happening with the freeways i watched the news last night i think we had like i want to see seven to ten fatalities just from uh highway driving in the last couple days so people uh the the highways the highways are getting overcrowded the roads are getting overcrowded um when they built these freeways they didn't build for the the the growth and it's unfortunate um but yeah phoenix is becoming an epicenter for technology jobs i also wanted to touch on something like i said earlier uh by the way guys if you guys hit the like button we'll keep this thing going and i'll keep fielding questions so let's get it over to 100 likes we're at 67 so if you haven't already hit the like button that's all i'm asking for you and we'll keep going all right we have 190 people watching but i'm going to touch on something that's really important to me which is the passenger rail study tucson to phoenix this solves the problem that i have with all of the wrong-way drivers the dangers of driving on these roads uh i know they're coming out with self-driving cars but i think it's time high time to build a rail system we've touched on this many times and i told you guys there was multiple different rail opportunities so there's street car light rail commuter rail inter-city rail and then high-speed rail this idea that a light rail is the whole solution no that's just one of five different components to rail that's like saying there's only one type of road so we shall not build any more roads and you're talking about surface streets it's like hello have you ever heard of a freeway a highway so on a surface street you go 35 55 miles an hour on a freeway you can go 75. so on a light rail you're going to go 35 miles an hour on a high speed rail you're going to go 150 to 200 miles an hour that's huge drunken chef says smash up that like button thank you drunken chef we got 95 we just need five more so you guys thanks for uh smashing up those likes okay so let's talk about this high-speed rail because i think that the high-speed rail is what's going to change the game yes we built the light rail yes the intercity rail is cool but really what is going to be the game changer here is going to be the high speed rail system and if you go right here on to highspeedrail.org okay so arizona southwest they've got proposed routes that will go from phoenix to vegas phoenix to los angeles phoenix to san diego now let me ask you guys in the audience here if they built a high-speed rail system would you ride that bad boy or would you keep driving cars now would you drive a car that goes uh 75 miles an hour and you have to you know you can't you can't you got to stay sober you can't have a beer you can't have a glass of wine or would you rather get onto a uh high-speed rail from phoenix to los angeles where you can drink a wine relax put your feet up walk around go to the bathroom anytime you want okay and it goes 200 miles an hour okay they're even talking about building one phoenix to tucson this thing from phoenix to tucson will change the whole game out here it'll change the whole game the only thing else that we need to uh the only thing else that we would need is to solve the rotter problem which we talked about yesterday because we're all about finding solutions we're not here to just complain there's not enough water we're like what's the solution to not being enough water who here watched the video yesterday where we talked about the solution to the water problem well you see this that's a lot of water isn't it so we talked about desalinization and pumping in the water from the ocean you have the gulf of california see a cortez that you could pull water off of or the pacific and so right now we're pulling we're pulling water out of the uh colorado river which is from the rocky mountains this tributary up here okay but look at all that blue don't tell me we don't have enough water we're just too lazy to dig the trench it's going to bring the water in and we're too lazy to pull the salt out of it now how do i know it can be done because i was on uss abraham lincoln a nuclear carrier and how do you think we got our fresh drinking water on that aircraft carrier anyone want to take a guess we took the salt water and we turned it into yes you got it fresh drinking water that's how come everyone on that aircraft carrier on that floating city all five thousand of us were able to take fresh showers no one complained about well actually they did say we had a every once in a while we would have a potable water uh problem but that's a lot of green water and it also solves this problem of supposedly higher seas so it's like you can't really drain the water out of the ocean can you i mean how much water would you have to drink so all this whole idea of like we don't have solutions to problems i'd rather complain about the problems how about we find solutions to the problem isn't that what built america i mean you want to take it back to the days when the guys were coming out here to tombstone tucson bisbee you know this whole area down here back in the old old days wyatt earp doc holliday you know the guys that were the pioneering this place they listen to us talk they'll probably think we're a bunch of sissies even the cowboys who come on here and talk this big goal game about how bad and bad to the bone they are but in reality they all they got is a bunch of complaints and no solutions so what i'm saying is what we need to do as a community is solve problems not complain about problems with no solution because what built america was the people who were uh industrial we had this pioneering spirit we need to bring that back we need to stop being so lazy as people rant over um what am i saying how about washington dc is it expensive heck yeah washington dc is like almost as expensive as san francisco so what i'd like to see happen is um bringing in some water from the ocean creating high-speed rail solutions and spreading out everybody a little bit i mean i'm not i'm not one of those people who thinks that uh we're too overpopulated i'm i'm one of those people who believes that if god creates people in this world then they're supposed to be here it's not up to me to uh dictate whether they should live or survive because you know ten commandments say thou shall not what okay there you go so um it's pretty easy i mean it's not nuclear physics here guys uh let's see what are people saying toilets with water faucets on top that's kind of interesting why don't you run for an elected office of your choice oh i would never run for elected office too much uh too much political uh mudflinging i mean i i like doing this right here where i kind of plant the seeds in people's heads but i think we need better elected officials for sure because uh i think we got a bunch of people out there who are just kind of blah blah blah blah blah but they're they're all talk no go and uh they don't really seem too creative you know so i i put it out there and you guys's head so you guys start demanding these things that make sense and then i see if i have an idea i share with you if you guys think it makes sense you tell me if you think it's a dumb idea tell me but that's a lot of water right there you can't tell me we don't got enough water uh i mean if technology scares you then you're gonna be real scared by what's coming with the uh what they're to do with smart contracts and algorithms yeah you have to be a good liar to be a politician is what he said patriot said that um yeah the ma the map format is pretty good and i mean if you guys really wanted me to zero in like i was happy when they asked me about the four corners right here because then i could really zero in and show you what the four corners look like but the area that i like uh the area that i like around here is monument valley actually but you can see nothing grows out there this actually monument valley used to be an ocean that's you go out there they'll find like uh prehistoric sharks and stuff you can see they also have ancient ancestral pueblin uh cave dwellings they got lots of stuff out here but you could see this little monument valley you know john wayne and all that jazz but the native americans out there that's actually native american land and it actually extends into uh colorado uh you have glen canyon which is a pretty cool place and then you have over here you have new mexico which also has navajo in fact i would say some of the best native american history you'll find in all of the country is going to be in this area in new mexico arizona's got more native american reservations but new mexico has some of the coolest petroglyphs and dwellings that no one really knows about and then there's this place up here in uh uh new mexico or in uh colorado called mesa verde any of you guys ever been out to mesa verde oh there's a koa i really like koa well i like koa because it's a campground but i don't like koa because they are actually a little bit um i don't know i tried to go to the koa in glacier national park and i was kind of like oh really what is this no i'm just saying they were they were playing a little bit of like uh corporate games with me and i was like oh this that's not what i want in the campground actually some of the best campgrounds are the ones in the national parks if i'm going to be completely blunt yeah mesa verde is out here i think um right here so mesa verde's got if you guys get a chance if you love native americans you go up to colorado to mesa verde right here and they got some really amazing look at cliff palace right here this isn't colorado guys so when you do one of these you know people go to machu picchu but you telling me this is this isn't on par with machu picchu i mean it kind of is but yeah that's out here in mesa verde in colorado and it's just across the border from so you so when you do that trip i'll tell you exactly what you do on that trip so you come up from phoenix you go through sedona you go through flag and then you roll up here through um to tuba city tuba city don't don't stop just keep going and then you roll through uh monument valley so basically you get flagstaff you get lunch and then you're on the road make sure you get gas and flag and then you rip right through here through um monument valley right here on the border right and you come up in here and you go into uh you have two choices really you can go through uh four corners but it's not open right now some people like to see ship rock ship rocks kind of like uh it's a rock that looks like a ship out in the middle it's kind of like that that's all it is but then you come up in here and you're in colorado and then when you're in colorado you go to mesa verde and then you go to durango and then you get on a train that goes from durango to silverton and that's a pretty cool trek if you guys like uh going up into the rocky mountains so there's a town up here called silverton right here this is in colorado it's like 9 000 feet elevation up there they have a railway the durango durango rail so if you guys like trains yeah that's a pretty cool ride and then obviously they got some other cool stuff that you guys might want to do they have hot springs up here i think they call them your ray or your uh hooray right here so this is a cool town it's real small i mean but colorado i mean we're obviously we're talking about things to do from arizona this summer because people want to get the heck out of town right and then you have over here you have telu ride so you guys have all heard about tell you ride right so you could do all that in a in a summer trek maybe a week or two so what you're doing is you're going up here to the um monument valley you're obviously checking out flagstaff along the way like i said there's nothing on this reservation up here there's nothing really that you want to see you just go through the reservation see monument valley stop at four corners and then you're up in uh mesa mesa verde and that's pretty cool you could go to canyon to shea but i think it's closed and then you go up into the rockies here now these are the these are going to be like the southwestern rockies because you have also if you go north of there and you go east you go you come up into this other area which is going to be like aspen breckenridge and then like you know denver because that's where rocky mountain national park is this area down here these are just like the southern rockies and then when you come back through after you just do tell you ride hooray silverton durango you come back down through new mexico if you wanted if you wanted you don't have to that route you might want to take would be through taos santa fe albuquerque and then back through gallup is colorado better than arizona utah also no i don't think so i i don't think color i think colorado is a good place to visit i don't i don't think i could live in colorado maybe colorado springs but i've never been there uh shouldn't sedona and monument valley have national parks they would be some of the top national parks in the u.s very unique sedona it's too late for sedona to be a national park i mean it's already like slide rock is you know back in the day slide rock didn't have so many people nowadays you go to slide rock this whole highway 89a all the way up here is gonna have traffic on a saturday it's impossible it's not even fun to go to slide rock anymore but it's too many people unfortunately i mean that's probably that's probably the problem with over tourism right but you know right now if you try to go to manzanita campground it's probably full but this is like a really great campground right along oh oak creek uh you know this is this is the problem with you know hyping up an area right you have sedona camping i mean but right here in manzanita let's see if let's see what the uh is the campground full see i want to go camping here but i know it's already going to be full so really if you guys wanted to go camping like right now in arizona you could probably check out a pretty cool town just outside of flagstaff called muns park people like muns park but as i've talked about probably new numerous times on this uh on this here channel welcome to all the new subscribers by the way and thank you to 140 people who crushed up the likes if we can get it to 180 i'll keep going even longer here because i've got the energy to do so uh this area right here payson once you go up onto here mogee and rim mogon rim they got lots of uh lakes up here actually it's actually a really cool place to get some nature if you're if you're seeking nature get it on the mogeon rim uh but you could see the the blue ridge reservoir it's actually kind of low right now unfortunately but there's one reservoir i mean there's several reservoirs up here let's see um that 260. yeah there's another reservoir right there willow springs then there's um woods canyon lake right here which canyon lake is pretty popular they got a campground around there and then there's like a bunch of just back trail uh boondocking overland you know dirt road trails that you could take all throughout here and like i said there's lots of lakes like you could roll up onto this bear canyon lake right here there's not gonna be anyone out there at bear canyon lake uh there might be well there's gonna be people out there it's just you're not going to bump into the same problems you know and it's kind of cool they got the tonneau creek fish hatchery out there i think the kids can go fishing at this if you guys got kids you take them to the tunnel creek fish hatchery that should be just off of yeah that's off of uh 260. take that road up here and you know you'll see some different countryside tunnel creek fish hatchery i think this is the one i used to go to as a kid wait there's like a little pond i don't think this is it is it it i know there's a fish hatchery out there i want to say it was actually by christopher creek well that might be it az is beautiful but lots of crap too good somewhere go somewhere green yeah there's lots of green i mean we got tons of greenery i'm just showing you a ton of greenery right here people move up here to this place called forest lakes this is a good place to have a uh second home it's off it's just on top of the mogan rim it gets cold as heck in the winter it gets definitely snow lots of snow up here forest lakes and it's growing uh you don't have to go too far to get there from phoenix i mean it's a two-hour drive from phoenix forest lakes that's why they call it that how do you get around when the rail trip is done i ride uber or lyft i take uber and lyft so or i take it it depends on how big the city is if it's if it's like philadelphia or if it's san fran okay let's just say i took high-speed rail from phoenix to san diego right when i arrive in san diego at the amtrak station they have light rail that can take me all around san diego if i wanted to take uh like if i wanted to take take the high speed rail say from phoenix to las vegas i would probably call uber lyft okay so i mean it just depends on where you're at now if you go like when i went to whitefish okay because i rode the amtrak on the empire route the empire builder that route goes from milwaukee through minneapolis this area from milwaukee to minneapolis is actually pretty nice they have this town right here called wisconsin dells yeah from milwaukee to wisconsin is beautiful place but it's america siberia i mean if you're into that kind of thing but then it goes once it gets past minneapolis oh my goodness you're going straight up into fargo cold as heck you don't even go you go through my i think my knot yeah my not nothing there in my knot trust me you got lake sacabajia there and then you go through this area in montana and then you arrive right here at glacier national park this is east glacier this is where it starts to get real interesting it gets real beautiful they wrap around here through to essex and you arrive in west glacier and then west glacier is a really small town you can walk anywhere you get there they're not going to have an uber or lift there and they don't have any public transport so i took uh i i got off in whitefish and i just stayed at the hampton inn and then uh they had a they had a shuttle to pick me up from the uh from there so i mean you know you kind of got to plan ahead on some of these but obviously as as the routes get more popular you know they start to fill in the gaps like one of the if i kept riding it past whitefish the next town that i was looking to go to was this one called leavenworth leavenworth washington i didn't go there but that would have been where i would have wanted to go i think it stops somewhere around coeur d'alene uh i think the route goes through somewhere north of there like ponderoy or something like that maybe yeah one of these one of these is uh the stop but it's not actually at coeur d'alene it does stop at spokane but so far as i'm concerned there's nothing to really see in spokane but i think you can get an uber and lift from spokane to coeur d'alene if you wanted to even coeur d'alene had some uber and lyfts and then uh but yeah this town leavenworth right here because supposedly from what i understood is this part of washington is real beautiful someone said rally or charlotte oh i don't know but yeah coming back down to arizona i mean the only route you got really there's only two it goes through so the amtrak goes through uh maricopa right here okay and then it goes fro so it comes in from el paso this side it comes in right through here this is real beautiful right through here if you get a ride a train but there's no towns really worth stopping at the only one that would be good to stop at would be bisbee but they don't stop in bisbee and they don't stop in uh because bisbee i don't know if you guys know about this town i made a video about it only one time but i'll have to make another one but this this area right here bisbee real cool town in arizona it's actually at 5000 feet elevation this is where they had the old copper the copper uh it's a cool town man they have the copper queen mine down here what's everyone saying look at that look at that look at it it's just cruising right through this like canyon ravine lots of history phelps dodge was down here look it see this sign right here the bisbee district has the best year-round climate on earth that's what that sign right there says so just wrap around here this is main street so that's bisbee southern arizona that's that's that's a road trip you do and even on the bisbee road trip you know you go to tombstone let's see where's tombstone here right here tombstone's cool you go along fremont street so tombstone you're saying tombstone has a cute name or bisbee bisbee's named after judge dewitt bisbee uh and tombstone is named after well the reason they call it tombstone from what i understood is the only reason people went to tombstone was to find their tombstone that's why they have the old cemetery up here at boot hill cemetery a lot of people stop right here at the boot hill cemetery because at this graveyard they got all the famous people buried there all a lot not all of them but a lot of them so this here is uh tombstone come rolling in here in the summertime like right now if you were to go there lots of monsoons starting pretty soon you'd see like it's cool because you'll see like monsoon storms just like one cloud over here dropping rain would be another cloud over here dropping rain just sweeping across the tombstone they they actually get monsoons down in tombstone and bisbee so it'll be hot as heck over here uh no no monsoon in phoenix and then you go down to tombstone you're getting lots and lots of uh monsoon activity and it's kind of cool because let's see if i can get this straightened out here another area people like to go is this uh karchner caverns so karstner caverns is uh i think you got to make an appointment for it but it's a it's a cave okay and they got stalagmites and you go underground and you can see see if we got some shots from underneath the cave regardless of that it's it's a popular place to go karsner caverns so again things to do you guys are looking for things to do because no no no better way to cure boredom than do something fun right so yeah down in that whole area i mean you could stay the night down there but not very much not a lot of uh hotels really if you could stay in bisbee that might be ideal but then you have another area over here called the chiricahua's so this is the chirakawas and uh it's almost next to uh arizona or uh new mexico it's almost on the border with new mexico this whole mountain range out here uh like i was telling you they got johnny ringo's grave that's kind of like a thing uh i guess the name johnny ringo really uh gets people's attention but this is the chiricahuas people like to go out there because of these rock formations actually it's starting to become pretty popular with uh like digital nomads and people because you know like people want to go to joshua tree which is in california but that now that they found out about uh see this is a cochise stronghold so in case you guys are wondering what a stronghold is whenever you see cochise stronghold or apache stronghold basically that was an area where the where the um the apaches or co-chiefs that the chief cochise would have had an area he would have control over it was a strong hold on the area and that was what he would have had out here in the cherokawas but chiricahua's are on on par as it continues to get more and more popular it's just not really well known about right now but it will become like on on par with what you have in sedona or uh even joshua tree so the chair cobbles add that to your list of places to explore and then uh the the thing around the thing out here in chirokawa's that a lot of people like to do is they like so they have a place called cave creek you know cave creek is in north phoenix but they also have a cave creek visitor center so this is cave creek down by chiraca was by this old historical town that no one really talks about called portal so if you guys get a chance when you go to the chair of kawas you can't even get google on that check out portal cave creek they got a campground down here see and they're it's not going to be overpopulated either but this is the idlewood campground beautiful kind of like high desert uh surrounding and it's it's you know because sedona is overpopulated well a place like this is beautiful but people don't really know about it yeah i'm telling you guys about it because there's not a lot of you guys on this video right now but you guys get the idea but you know you're gonna get cool wildlife like these uh they call them picari or pickery but i call them javelina they're like wild pigs you get some cool look at it the the yucca well this is actually an agave that's an agave if you guys are new to this channel you can hit subscribe i see some new viewers coming in here um and thanks to 162 people hit the likes if you guys haven't already hit the like button hit the like button let's get it over 200 likes i keep asking for that because that's what the google algorithm keeps telling me i need to get from you guys is likes because if you guys watching you don't like then google thinks you don't like the video but anyway what i'm trying to tell you is this whole area has look how many campgrounds so if you're trying to go to sedona and you've already been to sedona and you're like yeah i like sedona but it's overcrowded right now a lot of people are trying to go up there where's another place i can go look it you got the idlewood campground you got the stewart campground you got the sunny flat campground okay you got south fork trail then if you come over here so i mean this is a whole week you could come down here look they got a cottage down there you know a bed and breakfast i'm not going to sit here and tell you that they got the best uh the best hotel quality down there but uh you know you got some hidden waterfalls that probably most people don't really know about john's hand waterfall let's see how beautiful that is i mean decent decent i mean it's a hike it's a little it's a little thing to do out in the out in the woods i don't know how many of you guys are actually hiking activity people but like i said out here in the cherokawas so here's the chair cobble peak look at that view man look at that so after you guys go check out the chair call was you guys can wing it right on over here to wine countries sonoida you can see arizona hops and vines they grow grapes out here i think it's around about 3 000 4000 feet elevation this whole area right here wine country sonoida that's the name of it they have a sonoida down in mexico where sonoita down in mexico sonoita over here on the way to puerto penasco you know why they call it make all right well we call it mexico because we pronounce the x but technically the mojitos mexicos that was the indigenous people so the x because when you go down to mexico you'll notice they have like let's just say zochi milko it's it starts with an x zochi milko but the x sounds like uh um like if you go to cancun they have eshkaret but some people pronounce it x correct x-c-a-r-e-t but it's actually pronounced so uh mexico is that's why they say it mexico mexico it sounds like it should be like a silent j or h right but it's x because of the mexico people um but anyway so those were the indigenous peoples the most of the indigenous peoples down there but down here in this area in northern northern mexico southern arizona so you have sierra vista you have sonoida and then you have another area that people like to explore is patagonia me i live in phoenix i see if someone go ahead and ask questions go to the bars and press kit okay you guys want me to go up to prescott and show you guys where it is to go and prescott i can do that no problem all right so i've made a video on presskit on this channel you guys can search the channel you just go right here just type in the search right here press get bam we got prescott videos right there i did press get arizona travel tour look at 48 000 views it was pretty popular arizona road trip prescott gold mining that was with my dad he took his gold mining anyway but yeah so let me get back to the map but on google maps i can show you right now too this area right here is called montezuma street that's one of the main drags but then you also have what is known as whiskey row i believe they have an underground kind of environment down here but this is downtown prescott uh right here you can see on a weekend right now it would be pretty active this is the old courthouse but you can see whiskey road montezuma street and then right here you have uh some saloons people stay at this hotel st michael that's where they stay like i said don't expect too much out of that hotel but it you know matt saloon is a cool place to hang out um obviously if you're going to have some drinks you're going to want to stay at a hotel nearby right but yeah this is the old whiskey row and i got another hotel here go right down back to the corner and you go up a little bit you'll see they got a couple more restaurants right here it's kind of a small square but it's growing it's growing that's really where you'd want to go and then when you're up in prescott what most people do is they go to watson lake so they'll go to watson lake you can see dragonfly cove right here it's really nice it looks good right a little algae in the water don't be drinking that water but watson lake is kind of popular with people you've probably seen pictures of this place except for prescott and then uh you have willow creek reservoir which is another nice place actually the one that i like that i could send you over to that is pretty nice is well you got groom creek groom creek school enchanted forest trail campground hmm i wonder why they call it enchanted forest lynx creek is where the gold was i don't think it's there anymore though so if you're trying to go there and find gold uh i didn't really think it was full of gold maybe fool's gold uh there's a gosh darn where the heck is it is it's over here there was a lake over here this one granite basin lake it's a nice little area to stop and hike around granite basin motocross hotspot oh man if you're into off-roading okay this is where all the ogs go when they go off-roading they go over here okay i'm gonna show you a couple areas so they go over here this area around bartlett lake uh bartlett lake horseshoe lake but in between here rio verde and bartlett is a bunch of um basically you start down here and you see all these little trails a lot of these are off-road they're kind of like horse trails but they're also uh like off-roading trails so you can see like this off-road trail people bring their weak their their off-road vehicles and they'll they'll ride all the way up here all these trails that you see see all these trails these are all for off-roading whether you're dirt biking or atv whatever you want to do and then they roll up into here into barley lake and that's where they kind of like get picked up by their friends i took my ford raptor from uh the verde river down here in rio verde like needle rock recreation site this area right here all the way up to uh bartlett lake it was kind of it it's not four trucks but you come out you come out right here on the bartlett dam road you can see the road it's like a it's like a road but it's not a road right it's a it's a trail it basically goes through the wash so you're driving through a wash and sometimes the wash can be uh real thick so i mean people go out there that's one area that's that's just one of many obviously you got this whole area you know north of bartlett dam road this whole area right here and then uh some other places that people go they go out to lake pleasant there's a couple areas out here uh i've actually made a couple videos doing off-roading in my truck but uh this area around the white tanks people go up to the white tanks you see lots of lots of riding out here in the white tanks and then oh this one you guys want some serious off-road stuff you guys watch this video which one was it let me show you if you guys want to watch my craziest off-road it was definitely the craziest off-road let's see did i even put the off-roading stuff on here well it looks like i need to bring back my off-roading uh videos i didn't i don't know do you guys like off-roading but what'd someone say about summer heat do you all like to go out in the summer heat if you do how do you bear with it what's your secret beast dude that's what we're talking about right now we're talking about what we do in the summertime out here in arizona so i mean yeah we welcome you we're answering that question right now we get out and explore let me show you uh let's see here this one right here oh man they're gonna play an ad it was ominous so this this is out in box canyon in the superstition mountains oh got lots of ads but the area that we're exploring right there uh go through florence you pull up in here and you go into box canyon man and and we went all the way back into here to martina's cabin as you can see this road right here that's the road we took to get to martinez cabin so this is like some serious serious off-road stuff let's see here actually we're actually getting ready to pull up into martina's cabin at this point but you can see this is the road it looks pretty decent right there i mean but it gets way more wicked than that you go across these cattle guards you'll see dead cows like on the side of the road here but i mean this is like basically real off-roading arizona right here uh you guys if you haven't already but see that road right there you're getting your cars getting all scratched up by these trees and uh some of these rocks are huge but yeah i mean it's definitely wicked you wouldn't want to take a week you would you couldn't you couldn't take a um a non four by four out there you have to have a four by four otherwise you ain't getting out you're going to be broken down out there so yeah you guys are asking about off-roading well that area that i'm showing you right here is the area in the superstitions right here and does anyone know why they call them the superstition mountains anyone want to take a guess but this whole area is some real off-road terrain it's rugged out here in fact this is actually old apache stronghold if you go like right over here apache junction the reason they call it apache junction because this whole area was inhabited by the apaches in fact they have the apache trail which takes you right out here to or tortilla flat which actually i did that one uh let's see here so we have the apache trail tortilla flats right here this is another one of those off-road uh treks that you can take i'm showing you these videos because i know what is in them right they're showing too many ads here it's canyon lake let's see if i can get you on the apache trail up well we got like this area called tortilla flat out here there it is that's the apache trail there's nothing really out there you can hike all up in here look at those rocks that's just flying the drone through there look at that people hike up in here and they get lost superstition mountains i wonder why they call it that right but that's tortilla flat that's right there by the salt river canyon out here you can't even get out there because it's uh it's part of uh it's managed by the srp salt river project you can't even go beyond this like you can go through this road but you can't go uh out into here uh and i was looking out there because like right where they right where the gate is you'll see these big caves man big old caves and you know the native americans the apaches were living out there it's it's i mean these are big caves on the side of the salt river salt river is a very powerful river oh this the would you ask me about the fires yeah they still have the fires right now going out here in globe mescal fire let's see uh the fire right now uh i wish they would just say how many how much contained it is this is the telegraph fire out there by actually whoa that's out there right where i made that video that whole area is whoa no i was over here martina's cabin is there's martina's cabin there was the fire so it's kind of close to there it's a big peak right there you can see that when you're out there you'll see like crows and hawks and you you would almost think there's mountain lions stalking you the whole time you're out there like when i got out of the car because you got a park right here so you got a park like right around here right and then you gotta walk through this canyon to get to martinez canyon which is an abandoned miners cabin right i swear when you're walking out there i mean there's nothing out there this is just an outpost in the middle of the desert i the whole time i was out there i felt like there was a mountain lion stalking me now it could be all in my head but you can see there's nothing out there and i didn't see a single there was no people out there you know these these settlements are historical relics at this point in time but they haven't even been restored because there's no one even out there there's nothing out there that was just a mining outpost for copper no i didn't have a weapon i should have actually sometimes it was like when i was out in montana i saw that uh grizzly bear i thought to myself i said and i should at least have bear spray but if if if the bear comes at me what am i going to do you know am i actually going to spray it or or am i going to not have enough reaction time i better have enough reaction time to pull it off my hip and be like because when when they they actually sprayed the bear spray at the grizzly when we were in glacier so we went up to this lake i'll show you guys this lake it was crazy man this lake we went to up in glacier national park uh it's called avalanche lake why do you think they call it avalanche lake because they actually legit get avalanches up there right it's over by the going to the sun road and it's actually next to little matterhorn you know the matterhorn mountain in switzerland they call it the matterhorn so avalanche lake i think that's it right there no so you hike up to this lake right i don't even know maybe that's it there it is so we were right here and there was two sets there was black bear and grizzly bear and they had cubs and they had this little beach right here i mean look at all these trees look at all those tree stumps from when the avalanche comes down from the hill and uh just basically takes a bunch of trees with it and they just end up in this lake that's why they call it avalanche lake actually they probably come off come from off this cliff right here i call this america switzerland but the they they actually sprayed the bear spray and i was walking through there and i thought i got a mosquito in my mouth because all of a sudden the air i got my mouth got all real uh nasty and i was like what the heck i just swallowed a nasty mosquito because there was a lot of mosquitoes up there and then i got closer and i seen the bear and i saw the people like scared about the bear and uh that was what it was so if you ever spray bear spray that stuff stinks up the air like a lot in all directions um so what are you guys saying steve says stupid park service clothes going to the sun road last year due to covid apparently the virus likes fresh air and mountain views no kidding right now you know what they say the reason was is because they don't have enough park ranger staff it's just the the the nps is i don't know what their what their deal is with that thankfully uh grand canyon is not playing the same game that they play none of the parks out here in arizona really well they're all national parks right so they could play the game the same way because they're all part of the national park service but the grand canyon didn't have any problems although when i went up to the north rim of the grand canyon which is definitely awesome this part right here like this is great up here if you guys want to go on another trip this summer go to north rim grand canyon lodge right here this place is tremendous right there on the cliffs of the grand canyon that's what it looks like inside the lodge they got a big old fireplace it's actually closed in the winter because uh look at that view you could eat with a view like that at the grand canyon it's closed in the winter because there's so much snow pack up there this this is uh this is the lodge that's the lodge but you guys didn't know about that see they don't tell you this stuff you guys come out here you don't even know about all the cool stuff because no one tells you and the north rim is way less crowded than the south rim i mean look at this you got angel's window for those of you who like to hike i mean this is where the uh angel i think bright angel trail so there's the colorado you got plat bright angel trails over here on the south rim but you also got the other side of the bright angel over here 213 people hit the like button if we get it to 250 i'll keep going i'll give it like five minutes to see if we can get it to 250 and keep cracking up the likes on the algorithm so youtube keeps pumping this video and then uh 280 thought about boston new um boston i'm in l.a just looked out my window and my neighbor is washing his car with his mask on i kid you not it's 89 degrees i got to get out of here [Laughter] wash well i don't know guys yeah apparently if you say something to those guys that they're like real like the people who wear masks they're very militant about their their masks they're like they're like stay home save lives do what's right do the right thing um you know they are convinced that they're saving lives by wearing that mask so there's nothing you could tell them because they think that someone told them they're saving someone's life by them wearing that mask so i was just like hey i'm okay with you wearing your mask whatever just you know um trey says cool not too crowded restaurants and sites to see and press get i actually you're gonna you're not gonna believe this i got both shots in my vaccine so whatever i did it now on you know i didn't really the only reason i did it was because i like i traveled for work and i knew that at some point in time they were probably going to require it so i was like just get it over with and i was in the military when they gave us like 40 different vaccines you know they gave us like the anthrax small pox all these different vaccines so i was just like whatever it's if they if they were going to inject me with something they would have already got me so i just did it anyway and i mean i'm still alive i i don't really feel any different so you know i'll be the guinea pig if i have to but i didn't really want to get it i didn't really want to get it i don't think anyone really wanted well some people want to get it uh but now i can you know legally go out in arizona without a mask on um someone said someone said something that in boston there was a lot of people who were already double vaxxed wearing two masks still wearing two masks double vaxxed and so people are really they take this stuff seriously there's nothing you could tell them because they think it's they're convinced that it's the most deadly virus in human history and new stuff so i just say okay i i don't want to get into this conversation so we'll leave it at that um where are the biohazard waste containers for all these used mass oh yeah i know that's what they were saying like if this was really the most debt you would want to put those mass in a biohazard containment site that's it that's a compelling uh argument yeah it's uh the mask i actually thought it was worse wearing the mask because you know i would touch a doorknob and then i would you know eat and it was like i was constantly going up and down with the mask and sometimes i couldn't replace the mask you know sometimes you got to go through two masks a day to really keep it clean and even then it doesn't really keep you know and i was like going back and forth with the mask and i was like my hands are touching things that might have you know and i'm putting it right and then i'm putting the touch in the mask and i'm putting it right next to my mouth again i was kind of like are we sure this is working okay so i played the game i'll put i played the game yellowstone full of mass spoiling nature oh i know it's terrible the amount of masks like if you go to the beaches you'll see just like mass just laying everywhere and it's nasty like you see a match you're like oh get that thing away from me i don't want to see a mask what heather cliff what did you just say that was crazy coming out of left field with that comment anyways um so that that's that's a lot of the places uh lake havasu city we made that video it's one of our most popular videos on living in arizona uh channel archive it's got lots of views i mean hundreds of i think 170 000 views lake havasu city we posted one month ago so it was really popular but right now is not the time to go to lake havasu city but man springtime uh you know whenever this whole area around here cool place to explore if you get a chance go out to lake havasu city uh especially right down here uh let's see okay so the area that i explored in that video since people were kind of curious about obviously there was a lot this is where the bars are the bars are down here just north of parker okay so you have so you have parker right here you get on 95 you don't cross you don't cross the border because once you cross the border you're in california ia eric the the people on the arizona side are always making fun of the california side they're always like oh man yeah man california blah blah but anyway senegas springs okay it's basically where it's at this whole area right here is where the bars are and that's where they have those floating bars so they have these like little floating barges people live down here and they have these rv parks and uh they're right there on the water but the um let's see where's those cafes hey i got some beautiful homes down there um i want to say it with sunega man parker strip that's where it is right here so you got road runner dock bar and then over here you had some they got a bunch of bars actually right on there you just stay at one of these uh rv resorts and each one of them has like a bar you can see that's what it comes down to buckskin i think buckskin is too far north parker place mobile home park you guys are asking about 55 and older uh rv parks in the winter time go out there to uh go out there to havasu city man sennega springs uh but that's parker parker damn right here which is what creates lake havasu and then here's lake havasu which is like this booming metropolis this is this is like the most popular era along mcculloch boulevard right here and you have this whole area where the london bridge is this actual london bridge from london and this is where all the boats go all the boats come on down here to london bridge and uh but i wouldn't go here in the summertime you'd you'd have to be kind of crazy to go there in the summertime unless you plan on swimming in the ocean in the water if you plan on being in the water and you got ac great go for it that's where all the speed boats are right here they come up in here it's like marina that's an island right there and then um what else was there ah then there's another place that people like to go i mean this this this is like a little mini uh this is bullhead city but on the other side of bullhead city there's in the nevada side there's this place called laughlin all right so we got 252 likes keep hitting that like button if you're new here but look at 69 you can stay at the aquarius casino look it it's called laughlin my grandpa used to love going here right here it's real small it's on the other side of bullhead city here's bullhead city people are always coming on here hey jeff what do you think about bullhead city i'm thinking about moving there i'm like okay i mean bullhead city i don't know about that place but i think it's becoming something because look at they got these nice homes out here it's actually it's got potential it's got a lot of potential bullhead city but uh it's known for one thing and it's it's a class one felony uh you know narcotic if you get is that's what it's known for someone in the comments want to guess rosa says she hates laughlin she absolutely hates it it's nice for retirees it's nice for gambling um and you know they got these um they got these uh mobile home parks on each side of the road yeah bullhead is windy yeah it really is windy on down there and it's like a hot wind too i mean it's like the uh it's like the um the wind that uh death valley wind it's crazy because this whole area of california is beautiful from sequoia sierra sierra national forest all the way up to yosemite is gorgeous up there and then right on the other side is like the hottest place on planet earth death valley mojave desert anyways guys thanks for watching we've gone 114 minutes into this or an hour and 14 minutes you got any questions asked now or i'm going to be probably wrapping it up although we have the most viewers watching than we ever had during the whole video so that's pretty good uh is there any commuter towns in az near vegas commuter towns what do you mean commuter commuter like kingman like arizona's commuter town is like kingman because they people commute through this area on the way to vegas right if that's what you mean by commuter uh so you could see kingman's right here and this is actually a pop this is becoming a popular place with retirees uh when you drive through kingman you hit this uh this interchange and then uh this is the area that's being built up it's called new kingman and then they have the kingman airport people are moving out here because what they're doing is they're they're rving across the southwest and they're using kingman as their like home base they're buying these homes two hundred thousand dollar four-bedroom homes right up here on golf courses and then they're just kind of like making sure they got a big rv parking and they just you know go out for six months out of the year in the summertime and they leave kingman and they go up into all these places that you know around america when will they invent outdoor ac no kidding uh no no such thing as mandatory in arizona darlene i never heard about that do you think there are any four bedroom homes going for 350 000 in surprise possible i mean you'd have to go on i would start on zillow and see what they got but the problem is there's like bidding wars that so even if they are 340 they're like bidding wars that are really going crazy but there are you know employers employers are uh requiring that people do that so you know some are saying in order to come back to work you're required to do it although that is going to be a slippery slope because some people like have legitimate medical reasons why they shouldn't get that and uh if they have legit medical reasons and then they lose their job obviously that's stepping into an area known as discrimination so they're you know and then but then they're hiding behind this idea that uh well we have to protect the uh the health of our community so we can't afford so you know it's like a back and forth like who's gonna win out the supreme court on that case you know oh it's crazy someone said hepa i mean that's another thing but luckily i don't talk politics on this channel or i try not to even though sometimes i get suckered into it look at the biltmore right there uh we just josh or jay wilson we just talked about uh prescott quite a bit on this channel uh what i would recommend you do is go on to this channel right here on our home page go to the search type in press get and you can see we've got at least five videos one two three four five more than that probably but uh yeah i've got a lot of videos on here i would say so this one i talked about kind of in the same dialogue format that i did here it's prescott quad city area what what the quad city is is you know you have press kit prescott valley chino valley and then maybe you could say dewey humble the other area that's pretty popular on the same par with that would be cottonwood cornville clarkdale jerome camp verde this is the verde valley right here here's the verde river this area's in a valley and it's like the poor man sedona because look how close you are to sedona there's sedona there's camp cottonwood camp verde cool thing about living here is people they build their house right along the verde river and they get they get a view right on the river it's like living in middle tennessee right out there you know is soccer popular in arizona yeah all the kids lots of kids play soccer out here but we have a soccer team i think they're called the arizona dang i have never been to a arizona soccer game we have a pro soccer team out here what are they called the errors i think they play in tempe let me see let me see let me see i'm trying to get this soccer maybe they call it football soccer uh what's the name of our pro soccer team i want to say they're like the arizona fire or something but yeah soccer is real popular oh phoenix rising is it the phoenix rising i thought they played down on um tempe oh wow are they all the way down in wild horse pass now i think i need to go to a game is this mls or is this like amateur league of soccer i don't know but this whole area is down in wild horse pass are they are they pro are they mls or are they amateur league uh joseph says feels like soccer isn't as popular in the united states compared to other countries well we have a lot of sports here obviously nfl being the number one sport football being the number one sport like american football but in europe yeah i mean i love watching the world cup especially if you get a chance go to europe during the world cup and go around to like italy and croatia and the netherlands i was actually there during the last world cup and i was in ibiza watching the french play i think the french i think france played uh who did france play i think france won it all i think they played croatia but anyway you know the the people they love soccer they love football out there in europe yeah for sure and south america is even big too which i'm surprised argentina and brazil they used to be like the best you know back when pele was playing is rawhide open um i think they move rawhide down to here and i tried to stop by rawhide because i was going to make a video about rawhide but it's not it's nowhere near as good as the rawhide they used to have up there it is i mean i it didn't look that great it didn't look that great when i went by there unfortunately um but it wasn't open it might let me see if it's open so i guess they're having concerts there so i guess it's become a concert venue i will say the uh sheraton hotel over here is pretty good this is a nice hotel if you're looking for uh if you're looking for a hotel go to the sheraton right here at wild horse pass that's a good place to do a staycation and you can go right over to the casino gila river wild horse pass casino right there and then they got another casino right over here gila river hotels casino lone butte that one's kind of weak compared to this one i think they even got a hotel here so you got two hotels nearby right out there wild horse pass that's another just one more reason why i like all watuki where's the best area to ride jet skis in arizona well lake pleasant lake pleasant right here this is a good lake to go uh a lot of people like to go to canyon lake i've seen people out here ripping around canyon lake oh that's roosevelt canyon lake you got canyon lake right here canyon lake's crazy man going back up in here you could go back up in these coves right here like if you take canyon lake and you take a jet ski all the way up to colorado as far as you can go it's crazy up there man it's really wild i'm not just saying that but down here you know it'd be cool to take from canyon lake all the way down to swirl lake but if you could take canyon lake all the way to apache lake that's g that's that's crazy but here's the apache lake this one's like no man's land like be careful out at apache lake because snowman's land out there the only way to get down there is a dirt road on the apache trail see that's a dirt road that's not that's not paved i wonder if you could take this little oh you can look at that you google went down there see this is this is out there by apache lake i'm trying to get down the road here i can't believe the google thing went out here let me see here yeah i like i like apache like to be honest with you uh why is it here's a cool you guys have seen the theodore roosevelt video that we made that's that's the dam roosevelt dam let me see if i can get you guys closer they have a little area you can pull over the side of the road right down here let me see ah probably down there but anyway that's a that's uh people go up to roosevelt lake roosevelt roosevelt i can't really say it right oh here it is the overlook that big lake you guys know the story right the reason they call it teddy roosevelt lake is because he said that one day there will be a great civilization down in the valley and so he had the plan to uh damn up the salt river which would prote which would stop the water from just going into the sea of cortez into the colorado river into the sea of cortez down by yuma and they they dammed up these lakes and that's what basically created phoenix so that's why because that was an idea by teddy roosevelt thanks to 280 people if you guys crush it up to 300 we'll keep going so if you're new here and you haven't already hit the like button hit the like button and we'll keep going there's a long video hour and 26 minutes but i don't care i've been drinking water i still got my uh still got energy what are some good things about glendale uh west gate this whole area around glendale someone said talk about the someone said talk about the casinos in the bars we could do that but so if you guys are looking for an area to check out this is where some of the best hotels in all of phoenix are in westgate and i think it's because of this so right here when there's no games and venues you could probably get a hotel down here at the renaissance hampton inn and suites look at 83 dollars you come down here 83 bucks hampton inn and suites westgate because it's peak season there's no one down there i mean where else are you going to get a hilton hotel these are some nice hotels the reason they built these nice hotels down there is because uh it's right next to the arizona cardinals stadium so you know when they have the super bowl they need to have enough hotels but they got also the coyotes play right here but when it's not season when it's not in season you can get some really good hotels down here staycations and the reason you'd want to do that is because you could go out to westgate right here look how many bars they got they got let me see if i get the little google guy down here so this whole area westgate look at all these bars oop looks like no one was here when they they made this it does it doesn't look like this right now i mean there's a lot of people a lot of people go down here you got the yard house you got restaurants buffalo wild wings movie theater if you don't want to do all that i mean like i'm talking about a staycation right you know if you live in mesa you do a staycation out there if you live in glendale you could do it but uh then they got the outlet mall out here the tanger outlets uh they got the cabela's which is my favorite sporting goods store like this is the best place it's look at the they got 8 600 reviews cabela's i mean you could get anything you need at cabela's they got it damn this place is nuts they got it they got indoor hunting you know museum they got it's upstairs downstairs cabela's are like bass pro shop they have you know this this place will make you want to go to montana it'll make you want to go to um makes you want to go to montana it makes you want to go to uh alaska i mean just going there you're like okay time to time to go to alaska that that's what happens when you go to a cabela's but like i said lots of hotels around here i mean what's this marriott right here 139 cracker barrel right there it's a restaurant native grill but where's the casino so they got the desert diamond casino it's definitely open 14 000 reviews huge casino here huge casino man huge man that's out in glendale so i answered two questions answered two questions for you you said two different people they said talk about glendale and talk about casinos well i've talked about a few casinos already haven't i desert diamond the gila river the gila river casinos and then over in scottsdale you have the casino arizona so you have casino arizona which is off to 101 just north of mckellips just north of tempe and then you have talking stick which is right here people think casino arizona and talking stick are the same they're not they're not and actually casino arizona right down here does not have a hotel but talking stick does this is native american land this is the salt river pima maricopa indian community where the best places in arizona to live for a 23 year old tempe right here tempe straight up this whole area right here that's where the college is i mean if i was if i was 23 i'd want to be where the college is that this this area is pretty good and then west gates uh good because they got grand canyon university nearby so if you type in grand canyon grand canyon university is right here off of uh camelback that's another call that's another college dan marley was the coach out there actually but yeah you want to be down in asu talking stick yeah that's cool uh if you got if you got a little bit more money maybe you'd want to be down by um you know a little bit more anywhere around 10p right on the right on the waterfront is nice once you get into this area just above the airport probably the craziest place to be in phoenix this area right here along washington jefferson van buren that's that's the wildest places to be in arizona this whole area around uh jefferson van buren anyone know about van buren
