hello everyone in this video I'm going to show you how to install the library open CV on your raspberry so for this demonstration I using a Raspberry Pi 4B running with the 64bits version of The Bookworm OS so to confirm the OS version I can write cat space SLC os- relase and you can see bookor and if I enter uname space- M you can see I'm running the 64bits version now I'm going to try to import the library so I enter the python environment you can see the version 3.1.2 of python and if I want to import CV2 you can see no module named CV2 I can exit the python environment now let's process with the library installation first enter sudo a update so this operation might take a few seconds and then sud sudo AP upgrade this step might take a while so I'm going to accelerate the video all right then type the following command sud sudo AP install python 3- open CV and the installation starts immediately after entering the command I have to enter yes and here again I accelerate the video all right now it's completed let's verify it enter the python environment and execute the command import CV2 so you can observe that the command runs without issues confirming the successful installation of the library we can check the version so you can write print CV2 doore uncore version uncore uncore and you can see the version of the library installed
