There are billions of stones in the  world and most of them are worthless   however there are some rare stones that can  cost millions of dollars you may be thinking   of things like diamonds rubies and sapphires  but those are all pretty common and worthless   compared to the stones in this video these  stones are almost impossible to ever find   and many of them don't even seem real but  they are from glowing stones which don't   even come from this planet to stones which  are not mined but instead come from animals   fluorite pearl this gigantic sphere looks man-made  but it's not it is named the fluorite pearl and it   is the largest pearl in the world it was unearthed  in mongolia in 2016. it gets its name from the   fluorite mineral that is what it's mostly made  of which is why it's such a bright green colour   this amazing stone even glows a bluish green  in the dark it is one of the most expensive and   prized finds in chinese history much more than any  diamond or gold nugget ever found in the country   it took more than three years for the minus  to extract this gigantic pearl because this   is priceless it's not known exactly how much it  would actually cost but if it went up for auction   many experts say it could reach a price of more  than 150 million dollars right now it's on show at   various museums in china and soon a world record  bid will be held for this pearl cobra stone the   cobra stone is also known as the snake pearl the  stone is actually a bone found inside cobra snakes   this can be extracted from the snake painlessly  and it's normally extracted from cobras in south   america africa india and asia now of course cobras  can be dangerous so why would you risk extracting   this stone from a cobra well many believe that the  cobra stone can be used as a cure for snake bites   this is not backed up by many medical experts but  it's seen as a folk medicine in many continents   the stone can either be extracted from the snake's  head or tail however this stone does worry some   medical experts they're worried people bitten by  snakes will only use the stone and not seek proper   medical attention this could cause some people to  be seriously injured or pass away from snake bites   many believe that by having a cobra stone it means  they're protected against any snake venom but many   medical professionals warned that this stone  provides no protection from venom whatsoever   diamond tears most stones are found naturally  in the wild or they're mined from other larger   rocks that's why in october of 1996 the world was  stunned a 12 year old girl from beirut lebanon   claimed that she was crying crystals that's  right instead of water tears she was shedding   razor-sharp crystals experts were not sure  if this was a miracle or a medical enigma   twelve-year-old hassana masalmani cried  as many as eight glass crystals per day   despite the fact that they were very sharp this  caused no damage to her left eye doctors were   absolutely baffled by this and it soon gained  international media retention at first her doctor   ahmed arji thought that some glass had simply  gone into her eye but he soon realized this was   not the case he would extract some of the crystals  but then more would appear from nowhere hassana's   father muhammad said that it's a miracle from  god this caused many religious people to flock   to her house in becca valley lebanon they wanted  to acquire one of the crystals coming from her eye   american doctors also examined the girl they could  not come up with a scientific explanation but they   said it was not a miracle instead they treated it  like a medical mystery and two decades later it is   still a total mystery it said that hasn't is still  crying these glass crystals but no one knows why   the cooler nan diamond many women dream of one day  being presented a diamond ring by their boyfriend   but unless you have the world's strongest  fingers no one would be able to hold up this   gigantic diamond the cooler nan diamond is the  largest diamond ever found on january 25th 1905   miners were hard at work at the premier mine in  pretoria south africa but that's when one of the   miners stumbled across the find of a lifetime  hidden under some rocks was a 3106 carat diamond   this was found 18 feet below the ground it  weighs 1.33 pounds back in 1905 it was the   largest diamond ever found and more than a century  later this world record has still not been beaten   the diamond was cut into nine very large pieces  and over 100 smaller pieces these can be found   in museums and private collections all over  the world including inside the tower of london   fire obsidian you may know the obsidian stone  from games like minecraft but what actually is   obsidian well it's a rock which can be made from  the rapid cooling of lava it's very rare because   it's only ever found by volcanoes and it's  very dangerous to collect it also has a very   glassy texture which is similar to a glass window  this glass is normally pure black but not always   sometimes this glass is multicolored and that is  known as fire obsidian fire obsidian has layers   of magnetite nano crystals this creates an amazing  colourful pattern that you won't find in regular   obsidian but if you want to get your hands on  some far obsidian then you may be out of luck   it is one of the rarest stones in the world it is  barely ever found and has only ever been found at   one location that is in the volcanic highlands of  oregon usa whereas regular obsidian can be found   anywhere in the world there's volcanoes even just  a small stone of fire obsidian can set you back   tens of thousands of dollars but if you've got the  money then perhaps it's worth it because it looks   seriously mesmerizing the eldorado topaz gemstones  are very beautiful and also normally very tiny   this includes the topaz which is a very  rare gem but you will never find a rarer   and larger gemstone than the eldorado topaz  this is the largest gemstone in the world   the stone was discovered in mina urais  brazil and it weighs a whopping 37 kilograms   the topaz is a record-breaking 31 000 carats it  is said to be priceless and right now it's owned   by the british royal collection and if you visit  the tower of london then you can see it in person   the halter man nugget golden nuggets are very  valuable but you may be wondering what's the   largest golden nugget ever discovered well that  would be the ultimate nugget it is the largest   gold specimen ever found it weighs 630 pounds  and inside is more than 3 thousand ounces of gold   it was found in october of 1872 in australia  during a gold rush it was found by bernard otto   holteman a miner and that's also who the stone  was named after at the time this stone was worth   around fifteen thousand dollars and today would  be worth around five million the golden jubilee   the golden jubilee is one of the heaviest diamonds  in the world the diamond weighs over 109 grams   and is 545 carats it was found in the  premier mines in south africa the golden   jubilee is currently owned by the royal family of  thailand bahia emerald emeralds are very rare and   beautiful green gemstones but the bahia emerald  is the largest emerald in the world it weighs a   whopping 840 pounds and is a record-breaking 180  000 carats it weighs 341 kilograms it was found in   2001 inside a brazilian emerald mine it's believed  the emerald is worth more than 100 million dollars   but it's also said this emerald is cursed it  was almost lost to hurricane katrina in 2005   and was stolen in 2008 at one point it was  listed on ebay for 75 million dollars it's   currently owned by an unknown person they won't  reveal their identity for fear of their safety   but if the curse is real perhaps they will be  identified soon hand of faith the hand of faith   is one of the biggest golden nuggets in the world  on september 26 1980 kevin hillier was using his   metal detector he did not expect to find anything  special but he did he accidentally stumbled across   one of the largest golden nuggets in the world  it weighed 61 pounds and 11 ounces the nugget is   worth 5 million dollars this story really makes  me want to grab my metal detector and go out   hunting for gold but now it's time to
