ranking every unreleased kanye album

you said the album was coming out on Saturday it didn't come out what happened I didn't finish it obviously on this channel it's pretty well known how much I like Kanye West music and you know it's also been a challenge to like him as a person lately but hey he made graduation right on God if I wake up one day and see bro trending on Twitter one more time because he got something to say about Hitler or something I don't know what I'mma do and since Kanye's album as in recording this is coming soon and you know despite a side of me knowing he might not drop I'm still kind of excited and to celebrate I thought it would be great to look back at all the old Kanye albums we could have had and rank them from worst to best now Kanye when it comes to unreleased albums well he's got a lot of them and a lot of versions of them and he's got a lot of versions of songs of the albums where he just mumbles or they just sound completely unfinished now I'm not trying to listen to 20 versions of Brothers where he straight mumbling or hear 10 different variants of Unfinished songs so I got my boy carot X to help me choose the right version of Kanye songs on each unreleased album and by help I mean he just straight up did all the work so shout out that man on God I'll link his channel in the description now I'm not sure if we got every unreleased album or song but I'm confident we got most of the leaks we also put them all on an app where y'all can stream it for yourselves and I link them all in my Discord server for y'all so you can add it to your library now this video was months of the making and I almost shed tears sitting on my desk listening to the same albums on rotation for weeks on end so I would appreciate if y'all would subscribe and like it would go far for the channel but uh yeah let's get to the ranking of these albums all right last place on this ranking has got to go a good ass job the 2018 version with Chance the Rapper I remember people talked about this album A Lot in 2018 and it was supposedly supposed to be seven tracks long similar to the Wyoming projects but Kanye eventually said [ __ ] that [ __ ] and just cancel it all together and it's for a reason there's not much content and Loki is kind of ass probably cuz it had no Mixie really and the bars are weak as hell but hey it has one of the first versions of hurricane on it and it's kind of cool to see how that song progresses every time it's leaked on on to one of these albums I don't really have any favorite tracks so let's just move on now second to last on this ranking is going to go to Turbo Graphics 16 or however you say it after the life of Pablo was released Kanye announced his album and it was intended to be released in the summer of 2016 Kanye wanted to pursue a futuristic sound wanting to incorporate video game samples into the record however work on the album was shortlived as Kanye began touring in August 2016 and just scrapped the concept entirely after being diagnosed with bip now this album isn't horrible and it's of course just rough drafts and not a ton of songs were leaked uh that's kind of the reason why this album is so down low in the ranking and why some of these albums are going to be so low uh and of course it's not an unreleased Kanye album without any mumbling from him production is a horrible but it's not my favorite some of my favorite tracks include damn come on this was one with cuy doing mostly just background vocals and hella mumbling from Kanye but the be ain't that bad uh no reason hella mumbling from Kanye again but the bee kind of go hard and post Malone kind of snapped a bit uh and then we got Euro to all right Tak 14 is going to war with James Blake and no ID this was a collaborative project between the three apparently sessions for the project began around April or May 2022 during a drake Champs interview yay referred to these sessions as work for their album and three songs for the project were played at a party featured on Naomi Campbell's Instagram the project is presumably scrapped because a kan's praise for Hitler and his anti-semitic remarks consider that James Blake has previously cancelled projects with Kanye do to his radical political views I don't blame him this album has some soft production and pretty good vocal works and the three together make a pretty good team not going to lie some of my favorite tracks are probably always and then let it in which honestly has some incredible core progressions in the song and some soft vocals from James at the end which lowkey got me in my FS taken number 13 on this list is cruel winter the 2016 version after cruel winter ended production in 2013 Kanye revived it in 2016 with only one official single release which I think is champion Travis Scott was the executive producer of this album which is pretty cool the label supposedly worked on it as late as November 2017 but the album has yet to come and honestly I doubt this album will ever come out this album includes all I know which was given to the weekend eventually for Star boy except this version is 12 minutes with yet again some incredible mble rapping by Kanye this album has some pretty hard production but it's hard to put this higher up because it has such little content with one of the songs just being a remix of panda Champions remix goes pretty hard though I can't lie some of my favorite songs of this album include Champions remix all I know thisp it being 12 minutes long and I had me almost sleeping is still an iconic weekend song and then Circle which is pretty caty all right ticket number 12 for this ranking is probably going to cruel winter the first version in 2013 this was the first version of the sequel to the 2012 Cruel Summer and not much is really known about this era this album includes the song can't look in my eyes which samples da Punk son of a Flynn and Michael Jackson This song was later given to cudy and and became too bad I have to destroy you now honestly despite it being unfinished I like the version with Kanye and cudy better to be honest this album has some pretty sful production and has some pretty interesting elements to it but yet again it falls flat because there's little content on it number 11 on this list is probably going to Jesus's Lord with Dr Dre since Jesus's King had mixed reviews Kanye then announced that he was working on an album with Dr Dre that initially was conceived as a Remix album but eventually it started incorporating unreleased material this album includes us this guy goel the remix version which ended up being given to God D but uh yeah Jesus's King is definitely overhated but it's still not Kanye's best work and this album really is just a bunch of remixes of already released Songs with some solid unreleased material and this album actually seems to be somewhat finished so I feel like it gets extra points for that some of my favorite songs include every hour which is a remix of Salah water and then La monster next up on this list starting the top 10 is probably going to be dondu this album was announced by yay via Instagram being executive produced by Future he hosted a listening party in Miami in which a lot of the songs were unfinish it was released on a stem player a few days later which was insanely overpriced Kanye nobody's going to buy a stem player for $200 because I ended up just looking it up on YouTube This Album includes songs like 530 which was a popular unreleased track from this era this album is eh it's kind of good on some aspects and then other times just not really hitting the same the album is somewhat finished but it's still not worth $200 but honestly da 2 is still more efficient and more finished than the other albums taking number nine on this ranking is God's country this album was made shortly after Jesus's King when Kanye began working on new material for this era songs from this era revolve around his faith while also consisting of dark themes tracks from this album will go on to be developed further in the D with child ERA this album lowkey got some fire tracks like a bunch of OG versions of tracks on dwe and a version of future sounds that Travis ended up taking later for his album Utopia this album Loki had a pretty good vibe to it and sounds somewhat finished but shows Direction on what Kanye is trying to do and some of the tracks would honestly make some good releases some of my favorite tracks are blood of the Lambs Tulsa whatever Off the Grid Future Sounds and Palm Springs all right taking number eight on this ranking is D with child with Kanye having new inspiration to work on an album dedicated to his mother Kanye continue working on previous demos and new ideas this music of this era reflects D's impact on Kanye in a colorful sound while reflecting his Mania and the stress he's been going through Kanye went into silence in early 2021 finishing up tracks until the album morph to did something very different this album truly shows some of Kanye's Geniuses with d the OG leaks of songs from the album really show Kanye's Vision this album shows the OG versions of songs like hurricane Off the Grid and songs like Future Sounds and God's country which was handed to Travis Scott for his album some of my favorite tracks include alien God's country Future Sounds the glory and Life of the Party taken number seven on this ranking is Swit Kanye began to develop new songs throughout mid late 2015 for this album with most of them eventually making it on to the final release of the life of Pablo Kanye also continued to work on many so help me God and ye's two tracks but by the end of 2015 and the start of 2016 Kanye had dropped most of these tracks from the track list for switch which began to resemble the final the life of Pablo track list this album is mostly just rough drafts from the life of Pablo but it also shows cooler alternate versions from songs like Father stretch my hands which has Kendrick Lamar no some of my favorite tracks include can you be father stretch and I feel like that all right taken number six has got to be yeus too after Rick ruin Cut Down yeus Kanye still found potential in the cut material and shortly after yeus was released an EP of leftovers called Lost yeesus was teased the project then became a full album of mostly new material this album will become so Hy God as the songs evolved yeesus to had a lot of material from yeesus and other unreleased albums some of the songs of this album have a lot of potential to be some great Kanye tracks and yeah of course Kanye's lyricism isn't going to be crazy cuz a lot of the tracks we got were more [ __ ] mumbling but besides that the beats and Melodies carry a lot of the album yeus is one of my favorite Kanye albums and the unreleased songs on yeus 2 definitely compliment yeus sometimes and overall I really wish this album was completed some of my favorite tracks include Tom Cruz Ben true which would end up being 3500 by Travis Scott I feel like that piss on Your Grave which was traded to Travis for FML and when I see it first up on the top five is good ass job not to be mistaken with this hunk of mid with Chance the Rapper but n I'm talking about the 2009 version as far back as 2003 Kanye had planned a Four album run going from colge Dropout to good ass job concluding the series but the death of his mother and his fiance breaking up with him dered this plan and led him to make anal weights and heart rakes but people still expected good ass job to release and he was still working on it until the 2009 VM incident and would cause him to go in a different direction and make My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy which isn't a 6 out of 10 album by the way the fact that sexy Red's album got a higher rating is actually crazy but anyways this album is probably one of my favorite unreleased Kanye albums obviously it's just a big ass rough draft but something about the production on this just really highlights Kanye's old style and the soulfulness of it all just had me floating and this album had probably one of my favorite samples which is by Billy Joel a mama's boyfriend and along with that song we also got probably Kani darkest song see me again some of my favorite tracks include eyes closed which is definitely more complete than all the other tracks Heartbreaker see me again and of course mama's boyfriend all right next up for number four is love everyone after Kanye was released from UCLA Medical hospital and diagnosed his bipolar he bought a Rancher Wyoming where he would produce his next album and multiple other albums the public name given for this album is Love everyone but it is known that Kanye likely considered as the title longer I don't know what this man's obsession is withler and it's kind of crazy to me that this has been going on since 2018 almost 7 years of this [ __ ] is absolutely crazy but hey the music on this album is pretty good so I don't really care this album has a lot more music and content than some of the other albums and while some of it definitely feels unfinished and full of filler the highs definitely make up for it Kanye has some pretty introspective lyrics on this album and some of definitely had me thinking damn this dude's a genius and then there are other parts of the album where I'm like what the [ __ ] am I listening to like on the song DJ K son which is just Kanye repeatedly saying slurs this album also includes lift yourself the greatest troll in hip-hop history that obviously gives it extra points some of my favorite tracks on this album include DJ K's son uh Brothers let you go and treat you good all right taking the third spot for top three is so help me God this album was announced in February 2015 and is one of Kanye's most infamous unreleased albums it's essentially being a more advanced version of the songs made in the ye's 2 era I remember this album had a lot of hype as the the teaser tracks wolves all day and only one were revealed to the public despite being intended to release in March 2015 Kanye never finished it and only a few songs ended up on the life of Pablo this album honestly is so goddamn good and sounds like the cleanest out of all the unreleased albums after listening to Kanye Mumble and hear horrible mixing on some of these albums it was refreshing to hear an album that has solid production and less mumbling and I don't get why Kanye could just look at an album and say yeah I'm not releasing that [ __ ] some of my favorite tracks include the mindest powerful this song is a lot of mumbling but godamn I love the guitars on this and then we got midus touch can you be which is one of Kanye's most popular unreleased tracks and it's probably one of my favorites and then tell your friends which is super groovy and I wish this song actually got finished because godamn I love the Michael Jackson Vibes all right ticket number two on this rank it is thank God for drugs uh before Kanye had chosen the name yeesus for this album it was called thank God for drugs this album had around 3.5 hours of rough material after changing the name to yeus Kanye had Rick ruin cut down this material and take the music in a more minimal Direction now I love yeus and an album with material similar to this album along with some Great Cuts really made me gravitate towards this album This Album sounds way more crisp and finished and that's partly the reason this album is so high up the production is so smooth and the experimental side mixed with Kanye's other styles really have me bop in my head this album also has the song nobody to love which was the original version of bount to produced by the goat Tyler the Creator but yeah I really like this album I don't know what else to say my favorite songs on this album include Greek Medusa awesome nobody to love and one I love all right Tak a number one for this ranking that everyone saw coming of course is yandi this album is probably the most infamous and out of pocket thing for Kanye not to release and bro had some dumbass reasoning as to why he can't finish it like the time he posted on Twitter that he can't finish the album because there was a B in the studio like dog it's a b anyways this album is obviously the best produced and it's absolutely criminal that he didn't release these songs all of the songs sound somewhat finished and to top it all off it actually has hella unreleased content that isn't entirely songs from release albums it also has some great features on a lot of the songs this album is great I don't know what else to really say just listen to the album yourself anyways Kanye's music is fire and a lot of his unreleased content is better than some rappers albums I'm going to listen to vultures when it drops hopefully I don't know I hope it drops uh join the Discord it's a good Community with a lot of useful [ __ ]
