second [Music] hey everybody it's aj for disney food blog if you've been following along with our 2022 restaurant ranking series then you might have thought we were done covering all four disney world parks but you would have been wrong disney world is a smorgasbord of restaurants that branch even outside of its parks and if i'm being completely honest the food outside the parks is often better than what you'll find in them just saying and prepping you for this video so it's time to rank all the restaurants in disney springs and for this list i'll be giving the restaurants a score out of 10 while also explaining the pros and cons of each even the best restaurants have their faults and some of the more blah restaurants still have reasons to fall in love with them so even if i'm not a big fan of a restaurant that doesn't necessarily mean it will become your all-time favorite and vice versa so if you want to check out the other four complete rankings lists we've done so far for the disney parks we've got a playlist for the series you can find on our youtube channel that way you'll be well versed in all the disney restaurants when all is said and done and if you want a complete is going to come in handy as you start making your disney vacation reservations so ready to dig into disney world's best food park what am i saying of course you are settle in buckle up get a snack this can be a long one all right you know we go alphabetically with these ranking videos and we're starting with four rivers cantina barbacoa food truck step aside taco bell am i allowed to throw taco bell under the bus probably not if you're searching for high quality mexican inspired eats on the go head over to the four rivers cantina barbacoa food truck on the west side of disney springs this is the first of the food trucks i'm going to be talking about in this list but i want to quickly speak on all the food trucks behalf for a second don't count these out just cause they're unassuming and you know locomotive the food offered at these locations is not only cheaper than most of the table service locations but also have selections that compete with the table service offerings too four rivers for instance serves mexican barbacoa dishes including the bira quesadilla burrito bowls and loaded nachos and forget food on a stick being all the rage food in a cone is where it's at four rivers has some mighty tasty taco cones that you can get stuff to the brim with your meat of choice and plenty of fresh toppings now a lot of locals in orlando love for rivers table service restaurants off property so they were pretty excited to see a four rivers food truck on disney property pros here best for those looking for something quick and affordable but unique all the same and also great for those who don't like a lot of spice or heat along with their mexican dishes it's good tex-mex here cons not great for those looking for a themed table service restaurant though the view of the lake is mighty fine from the outdoor seating and not a huge kids menu selection cheese quesadillas only also not a huge plant-based selection here overall we're going to give this one a 7 out of 10 because there is no seeding but usually the food is pretty good okay next on our list is amarette's patisserie if you're one of those people who won't eat sweets before a meal because you don't want to ruin your appetite then let amarett's patisserie be your exception amarettes is located in town center and has some of the prettiest rotating petite cake selections ever for real many of the cakes here are decorated with the seasons and celebrations and pop culture in mind we've seen disney plus themed cakes holiday themed cakes movie themed cakes and of course the gorgeous 50th anniversary petite cake that looks like a shining purple geode it's absolutely stunning along with the signature petite cakes which are also quite expensive amarettes has an assortment of full-sized cakes pastries crepes and frozen beverages and in case you're wanting something a little more on the savory side they've got a few sandwich options available too but keep in mind that these cakes even the petite ones are expensive like i said 50th anniversary petit cake is going to cost you 22 bucks it's another reason why i really wish i could preserve it and keep it in my gem collection at home pros here beautiful seasonal and year-round cakes and desserts and they're great for those with a major sweet tooth cons no real seating here outdoor seating is somewhat available but the overall con here is things are super super pricey this is subject to the fancy desserts that don't really taste like anything sometimes amarettes is not my favorite location because they are really really expensive desserts and they're very pretty but sometimes they're not all that flavorful that's just my bias and i'm sure there are so many of our subscribers and viewers who will tell you the exact opposite and they love it so don't necessarily take my word on this one again i get frustrated sometimes with super super fancy desserts that i don't think are worth the money overall i'm gonna give this one a seven out of ten as well and that's mostly because i know so many of you love it all right amc disney springs 24 dine in theaters that's right these are your movie restaurants y'all i'm all in for dinner and a show that's exactly what amc 24 dine in theaters is all about if you're on the west side of disney springs and are about to watch the latest flick you can order some food and snacks beforehand of course you've got your standard movie popcorn because what kind of a theater wouldn't offer that but you've also got more substantial eats too burgers flatbread sandwiches probably chicken tenders and a variety of other movie snack options is the food here gonna blow you away no this is frozen food that they're sticking in the microwave basically this is not the place you go when you're searching for a very fancy meal it's the place to go when you want to watch a movie and you happen to be a little hungrier than popcorn's going to solve so if you're just looking for a quick drink before the show check out the mcguffins movie lounge which offers up a full bar menu of alcoholic beverages you can either enjoy in the comfy cozy lounge area or take it with you into the theater so pros on this one great for those who want to feed two birds with one scone hahaha get it if you want to see your movie and eat your dinner at the same time also great for those who want to kill time during an infamous orlando rainstorm cons on this one definitely not the best food in disney springs so much better stuff elsewhere also you probably have a movie theater slash dinner place at home we've got like six of them around here so this is not necessarily anything that's going to be out of the ordinary for most of us and the snack options are rather inflated price wise because you're in a movie theater in disney so that's a double whammy they're going to cost way more than they're worth so overall i'm going to give this a 4 out of 10 movie great food you know you have it at home probably not the best way to spend your money on food in disney springs unless it is literally pouring outside and you know you need to kill a couple hours okay next on our list is swirls on the water this is a brand new snack location swirls on the water dethroned poor poor aristo crepes with its unique dole whip menu there are three flavors here currently the pineapple and vanilla swirl lemon and blue cookie dough swirl weird and habanero lime yeah that last one kind of threw us for a loop too how can a treat so refreshing also be spicy though these flavors can be served in a standard cup or cone you can also get them different ways too the habanero lime can be served in a dessert nacho form with waffle cone chips and mango popping boba pearls the lemon and blue cookie dough can be served in 50th anniversary form the blue cone and white chocolate mickey hat on top and all three can be served in flight portions giving you the ability to try all three at once warning that blue cookie dough can get messy so if you don't want a blue tongue and teeth while you walk around in the springs you may want to just ask for the lemon flavor without the blue cookie dough swirl yep you can totally do that pros on this one great for dole whip fans looking for a new take on a classic treat and the ability to try all the flavors in one flight plus there are some spiked dole whip floats here there's some dole whip sangria which is interesting so there's lots of things to try here super excited that they changed this into a dull whip spot and cons the habanero lime might be a little too unique for some and the blue cookie dough can be super messy overall though going to give this a 7 out of 10 even though there really isn't any seating this is all going to be outdoors this is mostly a kiosk hey now quick note here disney restaurants always are keeping us on our toes with updated menus and closures and rethemes so if you want to make sure you're in the loop on all these changes that's another great reason to sign up for our newsletter it's totally free and we give you the latest disney announcements they're gonna be sent directly to your inbox guess what you'll automatically be signed up for our newsletter when you drop us your email for the entire disney springs ranking list at disney foodblog.com every springs hooray for information okay back to the list okay bb wolf's sausage co what does bb stand for big and bad as in big bad wolf's sausage company a kiosk where hot dogs and sausages of all kinds are served bb wolves is located in the marketplace section of disney springs and serves up all sorts of specialty hot dogs like the new york pastrami reuben hawaiian island dog and even the three pigs themselves only partially kidding the menu does have the three little pigs on the menu but that's just the name of the three mini versions of bb wolf's specialty dogs so it's like the dollop flights from swirls on the water but the hot dog version of that bb wolves does not skimp on the toppings but the trick to find a seat without making a mess in the process can get tricky because the kiosk is just a kiosk and there's no designated seating area no need to huff and puff and blow someone's house down over it just head for the tables across from world of disney and hope and pray you still find one available pros on this unique and traditional selections of hot dogs good place to stop for a quick bite with a minimal weight as well and cons no dedicated seating area not great for those who don't like you know hot dogs because that's pretty much what we've got here aside from a few specialty desserts that appear now and then overall this one's going to get a 6.5 out of 10. okay next on our list is blaze fast fired pizza if you have a rapid pizza place in your neighborhood then you're probably already familiar with the types of offerings at blaze fast fired pizza it's basically like a subway sub shop for pizza and those of you who've been watching our videos for a really really long time know that it very much frustrates me that fast fired is spelled f-i-r-e apostrophe d i don't really understand what that apostrophe stands for in this particular context so if you understand it please let me know in the comments blaze is located in town center and gives you the ability to customize your own pizzas it is basically a chain you might have one in your hometown as well i have one here in frisco texas where i live so the 11 inch pizzas are fast fired in an open flame oven and ready in just 180 seconds now locals and guests alike are big fans of blaze they love the pizza here and it is pretty tasty but i think what people love the most about this spot is that the prices are pretty reasonable but if you're looking for something unique you're not really going to find it here like i said blaze is part of a chain you might have one right in your hometown it's not a bad thing it just means there are more locations for you to try so if you've got a blaze close by maybe skip it at disney world because why spend your money on it if you can just eat it at home but if you don't and you have pizza lovers in your group and you want some food fast then this might be a good option for you pros speedy and affordable great for families with picky eaters and lots of indoor and outdoor seating cons the lines can get pretty long during peak lunch and dinner times like i said locals are big fans also it's not great for those looking for an exclusive disney dining experience something that's going to be different than anything they can find anywhere else also it's not great for those looking for something more adventurous overall we're going to give blaze a 7 out of 10. all right number seven on our list chef art smith's homecoming not all southern cuisine is created equal i know this for a fact because i've been to chef art smith's homecoming a place that sets the bar for all southern cuisines at an unfairly high level homecoming is a table service restaurant at the landing part of disney springs and it's been created by celebrity chef art smith known as barbecue pit master judge author of art smith's healthy comfort and other cookbooks founder of art and seoul in washington d.c and table 52 in chicago and former chef to oprah winfrey on the weekends you can order brunch here but during the week you can always get lunch and dinner with artisan options like thigh high chicken and biscuits the cuban sandwich and the kitchen plate which makes three of the house made sides into your entree they're speaking my language there now one thing i absolutely adore at this restaurant is the dessert the hummingbird cake is excellent and i also like the shine cake which you wouldn't think i'd like because there's not really any frosting on it but it is excellent and again something we didn't mention is that artsmiths is very well known for their moonshine there's lots of moonshine drinks there's moonshine cocktails and so that's something you definitely want to try if you're there as well if you imbibe so is this the healthiest meal on property probably not especially if you're looking to try that famous fried chicken of theirs but it's healthy for the soul a thousand percent so pros here some of the best southern comfort eats ever really it's excellent locally sourced ingredients and comfort food that matches the restaurant's comfortable rural setting both inside and out now there is some outdoor seating but it's all covered so you're good to go there cons not the priciest meal out there but can still get pretty steep with art's famous fried chicken main plate coming in at 29 bucks and it's not best for those looking for a light meal obviously you're gonna have to roll yourself out of there you'll be very sad once it's gone overall though i'm gonna give homecoming a 10 out of 10. i've been here for brunch i've been here for lunch i've been here for dinner it's always excellent and the cast members who work here the servers are wonderful so props chef art you've done a great job and now that we're on a fried chicken kick let's talk about a quick service meal that still provides those top quality eats chef art smith is to homecoming as guy fieri is to chicken guy aka guy fiati has his flagship location alongside restaurateur robert earl who runs that planet hollywood situation now you know how there are 23 flavors in dr pepper well chicken guy plays the same game with their sauces by offering 22 different flavors to dip your chicken you got the favorite sauces like the chipotle ranch and wasabi honey the classics like bourbon brown sugar bbq lemon pepper and the hot and spicy like the spicy mayo and the habanero hot sauce there's lots to choose from i am a dipping kind of girl i love sauce so this is as many of you know if you follow this channel one of my favorite restaurants in disney springs even though it's a counter service even though it's fast food it is one of my very favorites i think they do an excellent job they have a very small menu but they do a great job with it now the chicken tenders here and select chicken sammies will include two sauces of your choice and you can always add on any other sauces you'd like to try for about 50 cents extra and if you're not a big fried chicken fan there are grilled chicken options here too much like blaze pizza chicken guy isn't just located in disney springs they've actually created a few more even though the one in disney springs was the flagship so if you're searching for something more unique or interesting then maybe go somewhere else if you've got a chicken guy near you but chicken guy really does have some great fried chicken options they've got really good mac and cheese and you can make any option here as safe or as adventurous as you'd like thanks to the wide range of dipping sauces wanna know my favorite sauce i've tried all of them my favorite is still just the regular old buffalo sauce they do a great job with it i am a buffalo sauce connoisseur not gonna lie and i think this is some of the best so pros on chicken guy best for those who love sauce and not just ketchup great for a range of eaters it is quick and it is affordable this is something i didn't mention before the pros and cons section here but guy fieri did actually create this restaurant so that everything you order comes in sort of under a 13 level at least that's how it was when it first opened it might be a little bit higher now but the goal here is to keep things as affordable as possible which is hard to find in disney world cons not great for those looking for something more unique again very short menu here not a lot of options you're gonna get fried chicken or grilled chicken you know one or the other there's salads there's a couple of chicken sandwiches but it's gonna be chicken there's also limited indoor seating i know a while back the chicken guy was to expand that indoor seating but i haven't seen it happen yet so most of the seating is outside there are some umbrellas and stuff but it's still going to be pretty open to the elements so if you want to get indoor seating be sure to go at a not popular time so not a regular kind of dining time and the tables here do fill up fast i've seen long lines at chicken guy before so it's a popular place eat your lunch at like 10 30 in the morning eat your dinner at like three but overall i'm gonna give this one a nine out of ten i really enjoy chicken guy i can't really explain why except they do a really great job with that chicken they do a great job with their sauces my biggest concern with this place is seating because i really don't like having to sort of wander around till the table opens up next on the list city works eatery and poor house shopping is great until it cuts into your time watch in the big game and no worries that is what city works eatery and poor house is for city works is located on the west side of disney springs and features craft brews and classic american eats with some fun twists along with your eats and drinks you'll find plenty of high def tvs playing the hottest sporting live events now there are 70 plus beers you can order here plus you can enjoy happy hour from 3 30 to 6 p.m monday through friday happy hour is going to give you a discount on select beers wine and appetizers they have some really good cheese curds here which i love now city works is a chain as well i have a city works right here in frisco and they've got them all over the country so you might have one near you but what's interesting about all of the different chain locations is that they do specialize in local beers so you are going to find local brews here in their 70 plus list on the wall so food here isn't going to knock it out of the park it's kind of reminds me of other moderately priced chain restaurants it's probably a little bit better than your typical chili's and i've had some good meals and some bad meals here so just keep that in mind if you're looking for more upscale date night city works isn't going to satisfy that vibe either it's a very chill-axe environment you get to cheer for the sports balls go sports balls okay pros great for those looking to break up the shopping frenzy with a couple of beers and a live sporting match and they do have a very very well curated selection of beers here and happy hour discounts always a good thing cons not the best for the romantic classy evening not the best for unique food either again this is a chain this is you're gonna get this anywhere in the country it's not exactly the best for kids either there is a solid kids menu available but the atmosphere just isn't fun and the food isn't super adventurous pretty standard appetizers sandwiches burgers and tacos here i'm gonna give this one a six out of ten okay the coca-cola store rooftop beverage bar now you might walk by the coca-cola store and say that's just a store aj that's not a restaurant you don't have to include it in here but yes i do because at the top the rooftop you're gonna find the coca-cola store rooftop beverage bar which serves up sodas floats and cocktails now you know how club cool has the whole sample drinks from different countries thing in epcot well the rooftop beverage bar has a similar experience but you do have to pay for it and it features 16 different flavors of sodas from around the world the drink menu provides a rotating menu of seasonal options as well you've got some spiked and boozy drinks here you can even have that fan favorite beverly spiked here and it's a pretty cool view here from the top of the coca-cola store that rooftop bar so pros here great for soda lovers looking to add some pizzazz to their usual fizzy drinks there's a range of options for more standard and familiar to more adventurous it's a fun way to kill some time in the afternoon and if you are sodalover there's a lot to try here it could be a really fun experience for you cons it's drinks only aside from a few little snacky options like peanuts and popcorn so if you're looking for a full-on meal this is not the place though there are different options on the taste around the world trays you can still have a very similar experience for free if you plan on visiting epcot during your trip as well so overall we're going to give this one a 5 out of 10. okay cooks of dublin now later on i'm going to be talking about another restaurant that serves up an even wider selection of irish entrees but for now let me talk about this little sib cooks of dublin he comes earlier in the abc order anyway cooks of dublin is a quick service location on the landing that serves up irish comfort food like the famous fish and chips and a selection of house-made sandwiches and burgers but what we really love here is that dubliner irish cheese and bacon dip which is absolutely off the charts if you love plastic cheese like i love plastic cheese this is the ultimate plastic cheese it goes so well with the hand battered onion rings with those big thick chips that they have and that is that classic dubliner irish cheese very sharp very flavorful there's just a lot going on here i adore it and this whole place is really fun they've got good food the biggest problem here is going to be the size it is teeny teeny tiny there's not a lot of seating there's a couple of seats outside but again if you want to eat here it's gonna have to be at a time that's not a super popular dining time so pros great for those who love pub food but don't necessarily want to take a lot of time out of their day to eat it because this is a counter service fast food location it's a solid alternative to raglan road which again i'll talk about soon if you want to have a faster meal and fish and chips and irish cheese of course definitely pros cons there's not a lot of options for you if you're not big on fried foods it's also not as extensive a menu as raglan road again counter service quick shorter menu and there's heavier options that can be not so great when it's an especially hot day in orlando but overall i'm going to give this one an 8 out of 10 because i think they do a really really good job keeping it authentic okay next on our list the disney food trucks back to the food trucks again only this time i'm going to be grouping a few together just so you can see the variety of options compared to one another i started this video with the four rivers cantina barbacoa food truck but there are three other food trucks run by disney that you could choose from as well first you've got hot diggity dogs much like bb wolves this is a location that serves specialty hot dogs some of them are a little bit i guess too special to be honest like a very strange secret menu thing called the king dog that was featured last year made with all sorts of weird ingredients that people either loved or loathed and honestly that's the weirdest this food truck's ever gotten most of their options are just really solid hot dogs then you got the mac and cheese truck which you already know we love there is a range of cheesy noodle options here with toppings ranging from barbecue brisket bacon cheeseburger lobster and shrimp chicken parm and six cheese crunchies basically cheetos side note brio wants you to know she could live off the lobster and shrimp mac and cheese for breakfast lunch and dinner but she just really loves crustacean topped dishes all together now last but not least we got the new member of the food truck family the local green orlando food truck which specializes in vegan vegetarian and pescatarian options and they've got these really incredible air fries so crispy and flavorful now we here at dfb stand the disney springs food trucks but be wary of those operating hours they can vary on the weekdays oftentimes these food trucks open around 5 p.m at the earliest so plan on eating at one of these locations around dinner time or have a plan b restaurant in place just in case also there are a few other food trucks that swap out in here once in a while so pros on the food trucks wide selection for a range of eaters and great for those who want something quick tasty and affordable and new if you go to local green cons strange hours of operation you never really know when they're going to be open you never really know when they're going to be there or which ones are going to be there and mobile capabilities they're not always in the food truck hub so you might have to track the location down overall this is going to be a 7 out of 10 for me i think next on our list is deluxe burger sure you can settle on eating a hockey puck burger at one of the quick service places inside the parks but why would you when deluxe burger is here deluxe burger is a gourmet hamburger restaurant located in town center with classic and innovative burger creations alike and don't forget they throw in an artisanal gelato shake while you're at it because they've got those too now the burgers here are some if not the best burgers in a quick service location on disney world property but if you're not wanting to eat a heavy burger you don't have a whole lot of other options to choose from here so it's kind of burgers or nothing seating here is great there's lots of indoor seating and there's some outdoor seating as well and the decor is kind of quirky and fun i really do like kind of going and sitting in a booth here and hanging out the burgers are a great variety they are varied and seasonal sometimes you'll get a seasonal burger that kind of shows up as a secret menu item here which is super cool be sure to check the secret menu items on the menu when you pull it up on your my disney experience app they've also got some incredible sauces for their fries here too that's another thing to definitely take stock of if you are a sauce fan and one more thing i love about this place they actually ask you what temperature you'd like your burger cooked to which is not something that happens at fast food locations very often so i love that i can order a medium rare burger here and not everything is just cooked well done automatically so pros on this one great for burger lovers hearty options for a decent price fry sauce is always a good choice and those artisanal milkshakes are the cherry on top cons is maybe too heavy of an option for some if you're not a fan of burgers don't come here unless you're just wanting one of those shakes for an afternoon snack every once in a while you can get some chicken here but not often and also not great for those looking for a more upscale and classy environment though they've got really pretty waterside outdoor seating i'm gonna give deluxe burger a nine out of ten something i didn't mention their burgers are actually a combination of beef which makes it really really rich a little bit fattier than you're probably used to and very flavorful okay next on our list is dockside margaritas pretty self-explanatory name right there need a marg want to be dockside dockside margarita is going to hook you up now this quick service location in the marketplace section of disney springs doesn't just serve margaritas though that is their specialty they've also got a few wines some seasonal beers a couple of on the rock specialty items and they also have a few snacky things once in a while after you order your drink of choice sit on down by the waterfront and enjoy the live performances that take place during dockside margarita's operational hours this is just a kiosk though so all the seating is going to be outdoors and it is pretty limited seating as well so pros for this one great for marg lovers and there's also live music here a lot of the time cons not a whole lot of eats just drinks but the drinks are super unique here so if you're looking for more of a variety you might be disappointed overall gonna give this one a 6.5 out of 10. coming up next is earl of sandwich i think that john montague the inventor of the sandwich back in 1762 would be proud of the earl of sandwich quick service location but he's not around anymore so i'll be proud for him earl of sandwich is in the marketplace section of disney springs and serves a variety of hot sandwiches wraps and salads as well as a small selection of other grab-and-go options here's a little trivia for you this earl of sandwich location even though the place has now gone on to be a chain was the very first earl of sandwich location in the country so that's kind of fun now a few of my personal favorites here the caprese is a great option for those looking for a meatless option the cuban is also really good that year-round holiday turkey sandwich provides all the thanksgiving goodness of cranberry sauce gravy and stuffing whenever you want it i love the cannonballs which is a meatball sub basically but because earl of sandwich is one of the most affordable spots to eat in disney world it often experiences a very long line during peak dining times the line usually goes pretty quickly so don't get discouraged if you see it wrapping around inside the building but be aware they'll probably be a line if you're eating at regular lunch and dinner times now keep an eye on the sides menu sometimes there's mac and cheese sometimes there's pizza sometimes there's a few other options that are really fun and really good and the desserts here are super fun too should i say super fun maybe not they're like brownies and cookies but they're really good brownies and cookies sometimes they have carlos bake shop stuff here too so keep an eye on the dessert options if they have a frosting filled brownie sandwich please get it okay pros here great variety of sandwiches lots of indoor and outdoor seating usually very high quality food here as well for a fast food location and quick and affordable cons it's part of a chain like blaze and chicken guys so if you want somewhere more unique you are going to have to go elsewhere and you can see long lines during those peak dining times as well there's also not a ton of vegan friendly options to be aware of overall gonna give this one 8.5 out of 10. okay enzo's hideaway tunnel bar and restaurant is next on my list there's a section in the landing portion of disney springs that houses three different italian eateries all fyi run by the same company and each with their own twist on italian cuisine enzo's hideaway tunnel bar is the first i'll be talking about this bar table service restaurant is themed to look like a speakeasy kind of feels like you're in a basement in a classy sort of way not in a bucca di beppo sort of way and feels even more like a speakeasy after you brave the rum running tunnels and exit out into the main dining room those prohibition era cocktails are the stars of the show here not only can you order giggle water which honestly how often can you do that nowadays but you can get unique spins on classic drinks like a hazelnut old-fashioned sicilian mule and strawberry fields that last one's strong with the bourbon and strawberry syrup the theming is immersive here and the drinks are fun and plentiful but as far as the food is concerned it's okay and it's expensive there are definitely better italian options in disney world like ill molina new york trattoria and disney world swan and dolphin hotel via napoli over there in epcot so if you're gonna pay the money for really good italian food i would wait this one out pros great for those looking for immersive dining prohibition style there's also a solid selection of cocktails and other adult drinks and you're going to find those classic nostalgic drinks here as well and it's a nice place to sit and relax for a spell to escape the disney world hustle and bustle cons italian cuisines are fine but not too memorable here pricey for what you're getting and not the best themed experience for kiddos overall probably a six out of ten on this one okay coming right up we've got erin mckenna's bakery nyc if you're searching for tasty desserts that are both allergy friendly and vegan friendly mckenna's bakery will hook you up not only does this bakery offer up sweet treat selections you're familiar with like cupcakes cookies donuts and several other dessert offerings i've never once turned down in my life but they do it in a way that doesn't make you wonder what ingredients are missing these still taste sweet they're fresh they're rich they're a great dessert alternative for those with dietary restrictions who have different dietary choices oh and the best part there's a donut happy hour between 11am and 3pm where guests purchase one donut and get their second 50 off so pros for this one is it is awesome for those looking for an allergy or vegan friendly dessert this is great for your kiddos who can't eat anything else in disney world this is an awesome place for them to just go to town and they can pick anything they want out of that case it's life-changing for a lot of these kids and donut happy hour is totally a thing cons no seating inside or out gotta have those goodies to go or save them for later and if you do save them for later be careful because some of the icings can be kind of melty against the orlando sun even in a sealed to-go box so if it's really really hot figure out a way to get those into a refrigerator quickly overall with aaron mckenna's a seven out of ten okay everglades donuts and cold brew if you're wanting something sweet in disney springs you don't have to walk very far to find a place that can curb that craving there's a lot of sweet treats around here and everglaze donuts and cold brew is one of the newer spots in the shopping district that is just focused on donuts now i say newer but really it's been around since the beginning of last year it just has that overall newness factor still attached to it i guess so the name of the place won't keep you guessing specialty donuts and cold brews are kind of their thing here but there are also some other offerings and we're talking about donut grilled cheeses and a variety of flavored milks and reese's peanut butter infused nitro brews so they got some interesting stuff going on here for sure as far as their array of donuts they're good but not always worth the hefty price tag especially when a krispy kreme has a baker's dozen assortment for around nine bucks while a baker's dozen assortment here is gonna rack up a 60 charge minimum you could really get a nice dinner for that money so pros here great for those looking for unique treats that they can tell everyone back home about and also offers up some savory options to break up all that sugar cons the donuts are good but they're not gonna knock your socks off and they're expensive so seating here pretty limited lots of it's outdoors as well overall everglazed i'm gonna give it a seven out of ten okay frontera coachina is next this table service restaurant in town square often gets overlooked but it's a decent place if you're looking for authentic mexican cuisine the staff is energetic the food is better than a lot of options around disney world and you can choose whether you want to eat inside outside or on the go thanks to its walk-up window now heads up this is another celebrity chef location this one is headed up by rick bayless and a big draw for this place is their mixology this is a margarita haven heads up the beverage program here is run by the same people who run the beverage program at la cava del te kilo over in epcots mexico they're also the same people that run the beverage program over at coronado springs resort so these are some really really great margaritas and if you don't want to stand in line at la cava del tequila for your avocado margarita you can get the same one here so the black burrita the cava avocado and the fritta served with a rose petal popcorn salt rim that honestly works pretty well with the pomegranate cordial and rose petal decor so even if you're not necessarily into grasshoppers on your guacamole the margarita options here are top notch so pros solid variety of tasty tacos and other mexican inspired dishes they do a very authentic and excellent job here with food both table service and quick service are available and there are lots of margaritas cons not great for those who don't like mexican-inspired dishes and especially who if you're looking for like tex-mex that's not what you're going to find here this is going to be much more authentic and it's not a huge assortment of kids menu options only quesadillas or tacos is this the best mexican food in disney world i would say no personally but i am more of a tex-mex fan so definitely chime in in the comments if this is one of your favorites overall i'm gonna give this one a 7.5 out of 10. okay ghirardelli soda fountain and chocolate shop do you smell that is that sweet warm hot fudge wafting around the marketplace section of disney springs the smell you want to wrap up in like a blanket and wear all day long like perfume well that smell my friends is coming from ghirardelli soda fountain and chocolate shop and yes it is fabulous you're probably already familiar with the ghirardelli brand their chocolate squares often populate the sweet styles at the local grocery stores but at ghirardelli soda fountain in disney springs you'll still find chocolate squares for sale along with epic sundaes shakes and specialty cocoa drinks pros here literally the best smelling shop in the springs and there's both indoor and outdoor patio seating cons this can be a little too sugary sweet for some it's a really heavy dessert situation ice cream hot fudge caramel lots going on cookies and the other con here is that it gets real real busy long lines crowds are all over the place there is seating but you can take stuff to go as well so that might be a better choice but we would definitely recommend going right when they open overall ghirardelli 8 out of 10. uh oh we got another sweet powerhouse here gideon's bakehouse is next now gideon's had already made a name for itself over at orlando's east end market before entering the landing at disney springs it's been an orlando institution for years and years but this oddity shop-turned-bakery has hit the shopping district by storm and it has become a disney icon now gideon's sells massive cookies mainstream and secret menu cake slices and cold brews its most popular one is the peanut butter cold brew featured all year long now along with its standard cookie offerings like the basic chocolate chip cookies and cream peanut butter crunch gideon's also offers monthly limited edition flavors like the eternal flame cookie with chocolate covered cherries and cayenne for valentine's day that frankenstein cookie made with double stuffed oreos for halloween and my favorite is the lemon poppy seed cookie believe it or not i love that one i hope it comes back this year now this place is very very popular like it's the definition of popular you may have to enter a virtual queue just to get in the two-hour line for it fortunately you'll still be able to browse disney springs while you wait but yeah definitely not the place for a last minute treat before you head out for the day if you want to get a cookie here or anything else get there early and get in the virtual queue so pros here fan favorite desserts people love it and they are really really good they're excellently done and it keeps things fresh with its rotating menu of seasonal and secret menu items and there's incredible theming here they do not pull back on the oddities influence here they do a great job with it and i love that they're kind of bucking the system of the typical kind of disney magic here this is a different kind of magic altogether and it's awesome so cons here massive lines all season long can find yourself in a two plus hour virtual queue just for a six dollar cookie the store is very small so only a few are allowed in at a time and there's no seating at all there's no savory options here desserts or bust overall though i'm gonna give gideons a 10 out of 10. i can't help it i love it okay next is something that a lot of you have probably missed or walked right by it's the haagen-dazs kiosk yep with places like ghirardelli and swirls on the water existing the haagen-dazs kiosk on the west side tends to get overlooked and that's to be expected this location does have 14 flavors of ice cream which is impressive for a teeny tiny storefront and this is very much your typical ice cream shop you might find back home so if you're looking for a simple reliable treat haagen-dazs has got the goods but if you're looking to try something that stands out or use unique to disney springs and you don't have to search very far again disney springs tons of dessert options pros here ice cream what's not to like and there's 14 flavors available cons it's not the best for those looking for something more innovative or unique and it's an unassuming storefront that tends to get overlooked and there's really no seating here either overall a five out of ten is it bad ice cream no but contextually with so much else going on in disney springs probably not the best use of your time or money okay house of blues restaurant and bar live music strong drinks southern eats house of blues restaurant and bar is a table service restaurant on the west side that's going to treat you right with that southern fare we're talking seafood jambalaya toffee bread pudding which is my favorite dessert in walt disney world hands down period barbecue brisket nachos and loaded mac and cheese topped with chicken tenders buffalo sauce and blue cheese you can check out what performers will be here ahead of time on the house of blues concert calendar and don't forget about their weekend brunch available 10 am to 2 pm on saturdays and sundays now the eats here can be pretty hit and miss we've had fantastic meals and a lot of not fantastic meals so if you want a guaranteed top-notch southern cuisine homecoming is still my ride or die but homecoming doesn't have that live music like house of blues does which might persuade you to come here instead and remember house of blues also has the front porch and the smoke house this is more for the folks who'd like to come here just for the drinks and live entertainment and maybe a few barbecue eats that's kind of a fast food location out in front so pros this is great for those looking for live music alongside their southern cuisine there's a massive drink selection they don't skimp out here at all and southern style brunch offerings are available on the weekends now this place can get rather loud we're headed into the cons section there's a lot better southern food over at homecoming and entrees can very very much be hit or miss here appetizers are good desserts are good entrees not really worth the money when i go here i only go for dessert because i do love that toffee bread pudding okay overall i'm going to give this one a 7 out of 10. next on the list hello by jose andreas chef jose andreas loves keeping busy time magazine has named him as one of the top 100 most influential people multiple times the james beard foundation has named him humanitarian of the year in the past and this man's also been nominated for the nobel peace prize in 2019 for disaster relief work through world central kitchen the non-profit organization he founded in 2010. so safe to say his next course of action was to open hillary on the west side of disney springs hello is a spanish restaurant with top us up on top of the pantapas they've also got a rotating menu of paella aka a traditional spanish rice dish think like a thick risotto or jambalaya-like dish sometimes the paellas are more standard with ingredients like chicken pork pork ribs and shrimp and sometimes they get adventurous like the squid ink paella which is a little too much for my liking but the most fun part about ordering the paella each time the chefs finish whipping up another pan full back in the kitchen they shout paella and the entire restaurant shouts back which is fun so just do me a favor don't get a coke here a tiny bottle of coke costs four dollars and there's no refills so byoc okay so pros here great for those who like making a full meal out of a bunch of smaller meals so tapas is the way to go here and it's definitely fun to share with a group of people if you're here as well adventurous options for adventurous eaters if you like spanish food if you want to try something new this is a great choice because he does it really really well it's great date night vibes here too and there's a high energy atmosphere it's a lot of fun and one of my favorite food groups is wet rice and that's what paella is so that makes me really happy that they've got a ton of it when i ordered the paella when i was here i just wanted to spend some extra special time with it all by myself but sadly i had to share with molly from all ears okay cons it can get rather pricey and if you're not into spanish food this is probably not for you that's pretty much what they have here also i just don't understand why you're gonna make me pay four dollars for a teeny tiny glass bottle of coke that's just not how i drink soda i am a free refills kind of girl so if you definitely need your free refills you got to plan ahead here but overall it's an excellent restaurant they do a really really good job it is pricey but it's good food i'm going to give it an 8.5 out of 10. next on our list is jock lindsay's hanger bar calling all indiana jones fans this one is for you story goes jack lindsay is an off trusted pilot for indiana jones who discovered this waterfront hangout while searching for the fountain of youth alongside indiana himself he and indy's adventures are depicted through the decor of the hangar bar which is prolific you'll notice things like black and white travel photos aviation banners trophies from the good old days and other gadgets gears and dew hookies that add to the story you're also gonna find lots of easter eggs in here you stumble into this lounge for the story but you stick around for the drinks and the appetizers there are signature libations both alcoholic and non though you'll find a much bigger selection of alcoholic concoctions and the names of these drinks are almost as compelling as the drinks themselves you've got options like the cool-headed monkey the fountain of youth the wrong island and for non-alcoholic selections you might want to try the antidote don't ask questions just kidding it's basically just a shirley temple this place is a barrel of fun and kids will enjoy it to an extent there's definitely not a lot of food options available for picky eaters but they might enjoy snacking in a full-on diving bell if that particular table is available it's one of our favorites in disney world oh and if you come here around the christmas season the lounge transforms into a holiday bar with a whole slew of seasonal offerings and holly jolly decor oh and you can get happy hour specials available from 11 a.m to 3 p.m mondays through fridays there's just so much to talk about when it comes to jack lindsay's apparently but what else would you expect from an aviation adventurer and believe me there's a lot more we're not talking about like the hidden r2d2 the bacon of doom there's lots going on in here but to go full on in depth you need to watch another video or you need to go get the dfb guide to walt disney world dining it's all in there okay pros fantastic theming that immerses you in indiana jones's stories fun drink selection and apps and serious jock lindsay's holiday bar tons of fun there cons not the widest variety of eats here so kids might not vibe with the offerings as well as adults do and not a lot of non-alcoholic options here you come here for drinks not the drinks seating is indoors and outdoors there's kind of an outdoor patio and there is plenty of seating it is first come first served overall 8.5 out of 10. whoa we're about halfway through friends i wasn't lying when i said disney springs was the best park when it comes to food selections this shopping district does not mess around and just a quick reminder i know we've talked about a ton of restaurants already and we're about to talk about a bunch more so if you need a disney springs restaurant companion to give you a visual refresher of everything we've reviewed today drop us your email over at disney foodblog.com every springs and we'll send you the full pdf of all of these restaurants and what we said about them so let's keep going number 26 joffrey's coffee and tea company joffrey's kiosks are sprinkled all throughout the disney world parks and hotels but disney springs has the full-on store front at the landing section of the shopping district happen to be right across the way from jack lindsey's hanger bar here you'll not only be able to grab a coffee or tea to go from a wide range of available caffeinated and non-caffeinated options but you'll also be able to purchase boxed and bagged coffee and teas to bring home to keep the joffrey's addiction alive and well tired of regular old coffee options then maybe you'd like to add some latte art to your beverage of choice joffrey's has a selection of disney characters you can add atop your coffee foam or you can even choose your own picture from your phone's camera roll to transform into a coffee inspired masterpiece if you're not really in the mood for hot tea or coffee you may want to walk a bit further to the marketplace section of disney springs and order from the joffrey's handcrafted smoothies kiosk instead pros on this one wide selection of jawfreeze drinks available tea and coffee bags available in bulk and latte art i mean face coffee who doesn't want face coffee cons though no indoor seating available though there is some outdoor seating nearby you just can't wait out any rainstorms here bagged coffee can be overpriced we found the same bagged coffees at local shops like home goods and marshalls for less and if you're more of a sweet tea fan you may want to look elsewhere for a drink last time bria went the barista told her she had to use sugar packets for her green tea maybe that's just her but she hates it overall i'm gonna give this one about a seven out of ten okay next is maria and enzo's restaurante remember that trio of italian restaurants i mentioned earlier located around the landing portion of disney springs well maria and enzo's is part two of this list the table service is modeled after a 1930s abandoned airline terminal turned restaurant how's that for a storyline cool stuff right perhaps they should buddy up with jack lindsay and although this restaurant has a huge dining room featuring 50-foot ceilings because you know it was an airline terminal and a wide selection of sicilian cuisine we're never really wowed by this place we go back for that laid-back atmosphere and overall hope that something anything like a drink entree desserts is finally gonna blow us away someday but so far we've consistently walked away from this restaurant pretty underwhelmed not because the food's been bad but because the food we have is okay but not great and still sold at a steep price so pros here very interesting backstory and overall theming although it just kind of looks like a big room if you didn't really know that it was supposed to be an abandoned airline terminal i don't think that would necessarily come across as you're eating there and it's also great for those looking to dine at a classy table surface restaurant at the last minute because you can usually get a reservation here and there are pretty laid back vibes as well cons it's expensive for what you get there's lots better italian offerings on property and the space is huge but feels very underutilized like how much does it cost them to air condition that huge huge room i don't even want to think about it overall 6 out of ten okay marketplace snacks i know sounds boring but believe it or not there's some stuff here if you're one of those people who was devastated when aristocrates was replaced by swirls on the water cease your distress marketplace snacks is here to save the day there's a lot going on at this little kiosk aside from the bubble waffle offerings that we used to find at arista crepes you can get the strawberries and cream bubble waffle and the salted caramel bubble waffle and that's about it right now marketplace snacks is also known to have seasonal treats pop up frequently so we'll let you know if any new entries make their way over here pros the bubble waffles and seasonal treats show up here throughout the year cons though not a lot going on here if you don't want bubble waffles you're out of luck also not a lot of drinks you got the basics and that's it this is a kiosk there is some outdoor random tables but there's not really seating here overall probably a five out of ten but those bubble waffles might raise it to a six for you morimoto asia now here is a dfb team favorite morimoto asia is a table service restaurant in the landing created by iron chef masaharu morimoto now when we first saw this place we knew that if the food was as magical as the atmosphere we'd be in for a good time because the atmosphere is something i need at least five of the morimoto string light chandeliers in my home right now i don't care if my ceiling isn't tall enough life will find a way now the menu here serves up pan-asian cuisine featuring japanese chinese and korean options and there are a few ways you can approach dining here you can munch dim sum style with a bunch of tasty small plate options for you and the group to share or you can order something more substantial like one of the meat plates or noodle bowls or even a whole peking duck you can go all out on the night specials and order expensive japanese a5 wagyu beef for some of the best beef you'll ever taste in your life or you can go the most affordable route and not eat inside the restaurant at all there's also the morimode asia street food area outside the restaurant where you can order from a very select menu of pan asian options if you're looking to eat some great food really fast and get back to shopping pros here beautiful atmosphere it's great for those looking for date night vibes and a delicious selection of pan-asian cuisine the food here is usually pretty good it is a signature restaurant is the food signature level good maybe not but it is quite good and cons here it gets pretty pricey especially if you go the wagu route we're talking like what 25 bucks an ounce something like that if you don't like pan asian food then head elsewhere and not the best setting for kiddos especially if they're picky eaters looking for like a cheeseburger chicken nugget fix that's not really gonna happen here but of course they've got similar options to what your kids would eat at you know a chinese restaurant back home they will have something akin to that for the kids overall though 9 out of 10. all right paddle fish there's a lot of history behind paddlefish but you can learn more about that from our restaurants that had to close and why video so for now i'm going to talk about my current love hate relationship with this place i do like paddlefish because it's really cool looking i mean you get to dine on a giant paddle boat and if you're lucky you'll also get seated next to the water for some breathtaking lakeside views there's a killer rooftop bar here that's first come first serve and there are a few tasty options that keep me coming back like those lobster corn dogs and the melty pimento cheeseburger but this restaurant generally is very hit or miss it's hard to venture off and try something new here when you're constantly iffy about what the quality of another food option is going to be like plus there are much better seafood options available in the springs so i don't know it's a 50 50 shot here and if you don't like those odds maybe this restaurant on the water isn't the right table service for you pros really really good views you get to dine on a giant paddle boat and that's cool and there are a few solid options here that could potentially become some of your favorites especially if you like seafood cons the food quality is hit or miss and the service is hit or miss it's not great for those who aren't fans of seafood though there are a limited number of other options to choose from they're just not stellar and it's pretty costly for what you're getting so i'm to be a little bit harsh on paddlefish i'm going to give it a 6.5 out of 10. okay parody so 37 taste of the americas there's a lot going on with parody so 37. you got a lively atmosphere american cuisine tapas and entrees a towering tequila bar taco tuesdays and wine down wednesdays again there's a lot but that's not necessarily always a good thing aside from the south american crazy corn which is unbelievably delicious and i dream about it there's nothing much here that stands out this is kind of like house of blues with that toffee bread pudding there's like one thing here that i love so much that i will actually go to the restaurant to get it but everything else is underwhelming and i understand that the overall theme of paradiso is supposed to give off a latin flair but its identity throws me for a loop like it's trying to be a bunch of things at once but ends up being a jack of all trades master of none i've even seen poutine on the menu here which makes zero sense whatsoever so the thing i will say about this place though is that it's usually not very busy and might be a solid last minute sit down option does get very loud in the evenings though with sometimes some live music pros this is good for those who love their appetizers and drinks this is very much an apps and drinks place i would not recommend sticking around for entrees and it's a good option for last minute dining because you can usually get a reservation both indoor and outdoor seating is available with very pretty views of the disney springs aerofile balloon in flight out there and lake views as well cons there's definitely a food identity crisis going on here the theme isn't straightforward and you never really know what you're gonna get here which isn't horrible i mean we've all been to the cheesecake factory there's no real identity there either it's also not the best for family since it can get really loud particularly in the evenings entrees aren't the best not gonna lie if you go here do it for drinks and appetizers get that crazy corn and then get out of there overall 5.5 out of 10. next on our list pizza ponte this is the last of our italian trio we talked about earlier pizza ponte is another quick service pizza restaurant but it doesn't serve those puffy pizzas these are a little more authentic now we've heard it both ways some love blaze pizza some prefer pizza ponte but both provide pizza so what are the differences between these two on the one hand you can't completely customize your pizza like you can over at blaze but pizza ponte also offers other menu items besides pizza like sandwiches salads and desserts now this might be a hot take but out of the three italian eateries in the landing i think my favorite of the trio has got to be this quick service place if not simply for the affordability but when the pizza here is good it's really really good they do a great job with those pepperoni cups which i love a good pepperoni cup it's hit or miss but when it's hit it's good okay pros fast and affordable they got those giant slices of new york style pizza with quality ingredients you don't have to get that they have other kinds of pizza too but if you are into a giant like two plate slice of pizza they got that and there's limited different options available too cons your heart may belong to blaze and that's okay though there are other options besides pizza the main attraction is pizza here and that could be a con for you if that's not what you're into and it's not super duper unique there's some indoor seating here not a lot of outdoor seating and not a lot of seating all together i think overall we'll give this one a seven out of ten okay planet hollywood is next on our list now pretend for a second that i'm hans and planet hollywood is anna i want to look this restaurant straight in the eyes and say oh planet hollywood if only there was someone out there who loved you now that's not fair i know there are plenty of people who enjoy eating here if just for the atmosphere alone after all planet hollywood is a three-tiered globe that doubles as a restaurant and a place to tour movie memorabilia of all sorts but the food here is nothing to write home about it shocks me that this is as closely related to chicken guy as it is we try again and again and again to love this place but in the end we're usually disappointed by the iffy food quality sometimes i get dirty plates limited food quantity and the hefty bills don't care about the inside decor but still want to drink from this globe-shaped restaurant you can check out the outdoor star gazers bar on the ground level of planet hollywood where they sometimes have karaoke too pros here good place to eat if you got a movie buff in the family a good variety of options for pickier eaters including a pretty extensive kids menu and there's something new to see around every corner cons lots better food anywhere else and not the greatest for those with sound sensitivity because this place gets really really loud also it's super expensive and you know i get served stuff on dirty plates overall four out of ten next on our list is raglan road irish pub and restaurant i love raglan road they do such a good job it's so authentic it's so much fun and the food is excellent there's live irish music and dancing this doesn't happen all day but it does happen in the evening and it makes the food taste better than it already does and the food deserves a chef's kiss bangers and mash shepherd's pie bread pudding those are your classics but they do play with the theme a little bit here you've got trendier stuff you've got lighter stuff there is the essence of traditional irish cuisine here but it's going to be freshened up in new ways it's a lot of fun and everything about this restaurant is authentic to a tea the bars and furniture were actually imported from ireland and when the live shows are happening it can get pretty loud in here so just keep in mind that conversations may be limited but there definitely won't be any room for awkward air among the lively atmosphere and that irish dancing pros live entertainment that's really fun delicious comfort food authentic atmosphere and i also love that lunch time here is a little bit quieter because most people are in the parks and so you can usually get a reservation here and it's a little more chill cons showtimes can get pretty loud if you have sound sensitivities and on st patrick's day you'll have to pay a surcharge to even step into the gift shop for all the st paddy's day festivities or do anything else here at raglan road desserts are okay besides that lovely bread pudding but as i've said before there are plenty of other dessert places you can hit up around the springs overall though gonna give this one a 9.5 out of 10. all right rainforest cafe yeah we could write a thesis about the feelings we have about this restaurant rainforest is a heavily themed table service restaurant in the marketplace section of disney springs but you can also find one at disney's animal kingdom and if you've ever been to a touristy city or a big mall you've probably already been to one of these restaurants because they're a super popular vacation dining destination kids go gaga for rainforest cafe and why wouldn't they it feels like you're dining in the middle of a rain forest filled with animatronic animals and frequent thunderstorm simulations that make the lights flicker and the wildlife go wild if you've never been to a rainforest cafe i always think it's worth at least one visit but maybe not necessarily at disney world there are so many tasty options in disney springs that it's hard to justify paying for the mediocre options here though i must say there are a lot of options here think applebee's sized menu and quality and offerings in the middle of the jungle with elephants if your main focus is on how much your kids are gonna love the atmosphere here then by all means grab a reservation but if you'd rather dine somewhere with quality food that's more worth the price you're paying maybe dining alongside elephants shouldn't be your number one choice if you'd rather just grab a drink in appetizers under the erupting volcano trust me you can't miss that thing there is the jungle themed lava lounge you can hit up instead but you're gonna miss out on all the animatronic animal fun which is a big part of why you come here in the first place pros immersive rainforest theming the kids are going to love wide selection of menu options available and dining reservations here aren't too difficult to snag but i wouldn't wait till the last minute there's a lot of people who don't make reservations and try to get in as walk-ups here cons the food just isn't very good it's not too different from what you could find at any typical moderately priced kind of applebee's back home it's not unique to disney world property you can find rainforest cafes at lots of other places across the globe honestly and it can get pretty noisy especially when the animatronic animals start to freak out over the thunderstorms this is why i didn't want to go here when i was a kid overall probably a six out of ten all right it's time for the splitsville dining room at your local bowling alley back home the food might not add up to much unless you're big into 50 cent jello shots but splitsville luxury lanes takes things up a notch with its dining room options including stuff like sushi and pizza salads burgers and a plethora of other choices that'll satisfy a bunch of different palettes in your group they've even got an outdoor bar here where you can get specialty cocktails to go but you can always sip them on the inside too while you're mulling over how to get a spare on a split no you don't have to dine here if you want a bowl and vice versa you can choose to do one or the other or both but between you and me i'd rather not just come here to dine the options are nice and all but you're still going to find better meals elsewhere it's just fun to eat and drink some pretty decent meals as you strike those pins down if you strike those pins down some of us are lucky to break a hundred pros here fun to bowl and nosh on a few tasty eats in a chill environment and best for sushi fans cause how often can you bowl and have a california roll great way to wait out all those orlando pop-up storms too cons the food is decent but not i must eat here or else quality and it's really not worth it if you're not planning on bowling bowling and food can wind up kind of pricey and when it's all said and done that can equal you know another park ticket right and burgers are pretty standard you're going to find much better ones over at deluxe burger overall splitsville i'm going to give about a seven out of ten by the way here's a little aside if you have a big group of people or you have a family reunion or something splitsville can be a lot of fun because the way they have their bowling alley set up there's several different areas of bowling so it's not like one of those giant room bowling alleys like you're used to at home so you may have a couple of lanes sort of all to yourself next on our list is sprinkles cupcakes now if i were the president i'd probably try to get some sort of law passed that made cupcake atms a requirement at every bank that's probably one of the many reasons i'm not the president for now i'll settle on sprinkles filling the atm cupcake hole in my heart yep sprinkles is located in town center if you haven't caught on already this little pink bakery specializes in cupcakes both traditional and seasonal but that's not all it serves also got cookies and ice cream shakes sundaes and cookie sandwiches what really sets this dessert shop apart from the rest of the dessert options in the springs is that you can order a cupcake here without having to talk to a single person not one i love that that's where the cupcake atm comes into play it is literally an atm like you would get money out of that's open most of the day and even after from sprinkles is closed i think it's open several hours after it closes and you just go to the atm you press the buttons you put your card in and it spits out a little cupcake in a box for you pretty awesome so seating here is all outdoors and there's not a lot of seating so this is not a place you're going to like come in while away the afternoon you just sort of line up order your stuff and then leave with it and go sit outside so pros here it's a good alternative if you don't want to wait forever and a day for a gideon's bakehouse suite and of course there's cupcake atms cons there's no real savory options here this is a sweet shop so you're not gonna get like an omelette or like an everything bagel here and it's also not unique to disney springs sprinkles locations exist in lots of other places so if you want something more unique maybe gideon's isn't such a bad idea after all overall sprinkles 7.5 out of 10. and it's starbucks time y'all you know about starbucks yes you do don't lie to me starbucks is everywhere it's in the marketplaces and west side of disney springs and it's found around the disney parks one's probably being built in your backyard right now if you've been to a starbucks ever then you know what to expect so these locations coffees refreshers pastries the only big difference between the two starbucks in disney springs is that the marketplace is a walk-up window while the west side location has an indoor storefront otherwise they're two peas from the same pod pros best for those looking for their daily starbees fix you can redeem rewards for the free drinks you've earned at both starbucks locations in disney springs which you can't do at the starbucks in the parks sencon's been there done that overall i'll give it a 6 out of 10. it's starbucks whatever all right stk orlando when i hear the name stk orlando the first thought that comes to mind is maybe not stk is located in the landing section of disney springs and serves american fare like steak hence the name sandwiches and other entrees that aren't steak based let's cut to the chase the food here is overpriced for what you're getting there are such good steak options in disney world steakhouse 71 yachtsman steakhouse lasallia and you're paying higher prices at stk the stakes here are usually pretty good i'm not gonna lie they do a good job with them but it is pricey and the vibe here isn't my favorite for sure this is a vagasy vibe there's usually a dj it's usually super super super loud and it kind of feels like a place to see and be seen which isn't necessarily the vibe i want when i'm at disney world you know but there is an upstairs dining area that's a little bit quieter there's an outdoor deck upstairs as well which is kind of nice but it doesn't feel fancy up there so you kind of are paying a ton of money for almost like a picnic experience so it's a weird vibe across the board that being said if you're looking for a place to party the night away on a dance floor stk can turn into a rousing good time so if you're thinking like major date night this might be the vibe but i'm not sure i'd bring my little kids here unless we went to dinner at like four o'clock you know all right pros best for those who want to dance dance dance without heading over to the atlantic dance hall at disney's boardwalk in another pro is that it really is decent food i mean they do a pretty good job with it it's just way expensive and that there's also brunch available on saturdays and sundays from 11 to 3. cons it is way expensive i could not believe how much they were charging me to get extra sauces there's better service just about everywhere else i've not been impressed with my service here and it's not super kid friendly either overall i'm going to give this a 6.5 out of 10 and the 6.5 is solely for the state quality next up is sunshine churros sunshine and churros sounds like a recipe for a lovely little kiosk make that two lovely little kiosks sunshine churros has kiosks in two locations in disney springs the marketplace and the west side so no matter what side of disney springs you're on you can find churro churro flavors switch up off in here but you can always rely on the classic sticking around like the cinnamon sugar the gourmet oreo obviously a classic churro and the dipped nutella but disneyland purists will say that the best churros of them all are over in anaheim right in the parks not at a kiosk in downtown disney so are you one of those people let us know pros here lots of great churros obviously so if you're a churro fan this is where you're going to get them they have seasonal churros as well which is super fun and cons does disneyland have better churros probably so overall we're going to give this one a 6.5 out of 10. tarolina crafted italian is next let's go back to that trio of italian restaurants i was talking about earlier tarolina crafted is the odd one out of the italian eateries in the landing district for two reasons first up it's run by a different company so that trio of italian restaurants i told you about earlier those are all run by the same company tarolina is part of a different third-party company that owns a few restaurants in disney springs so they are all sort of located over there together like taralina and paddlefish are both owned by the same company and while taralina isn't necessarily incredible it's probably a little bit better than the other three italian restaurants we talked about so if you're super craving italian food you don't want to travel away from the disney springs shopping district tarolina is probably your best option there's a little bit of everything they've got antipasti garden green salads wood fired pizza sandwiches pasta lots of different freshly grilled entrees too it's basically i'm gonna say it's a fancier olive garden looks like an olive garden they've got that variety menu kind of thing so it's not in the same food quality category necessarily but it's got the same vibe now taralina does kind of get forgotten about in the disney springs restaurants because it doesn't really stand out there's nothing really unique about it like i said it just looks like you're walking into an olive garden but it can hold its own if you like italian food and you order some of their specialties so do i think it's the best italian restaurant on property no but if you're trying to choose where to eat italian in disney springs this is probably a good choice okay pros best for those looking for italian at disney springs open kitchen and outdoor veranda bar yup you can sit right by the water and select brunch offerings between 12 and 3 p.m on sundays cons if you've already booked an italian restaurant for your trip no need to book another one here not the most exciting atmosphere for kiddos unless they really love the olive garden not the best for those who aren't looking to eat kind of a super heavy meal before returning to your shopping spree overall this is probably a 6.5 out of 10 for me okay we've made it over to the boat house if you are a yacht rock junkie and seafood is your jam the boat house will probably be one of your best friends the boat house has the seafood that'll make you feel like you're vacationing on the beach side options like maine lobster tails shrimping in dewy mac and cheese pant and breaded coconut shrimp they got an oyster bar a raw bar so you get the idea they've also got some fun marketing tricks here for cocktails they've got a shot ski if you don't know what that is you and all your friends basically gather around a literal ski that has little spots for shot glasses and y'all drink a shot at the same time i don't know if this has come back after covid yet but this is what they used to do here they also have like the duck duck razz which is a drink with a rubber ducky in it so some marketing little tricks here that get a lot of play on instagram and tick tock now inside the boathouse there is a lot of seating there are a lot of dining rooms you could definitely get lost in here it's huge one of my favorite places to sit of course is that novelty boat table it's literally a speedboat that they put a table in so if you get there early enough you might be able to ask for that table and they've got a lot of outdoor seating too on their dock right by the water which is pretty nice also outside the boathouse are the amphicar rides these are 20-minute cruises along lake buena vista in a retro aquatic car this is one of those amphibious cars that you can drive on land and it turns into a boat so these rides do cost a lot extra but if you spend over fifty dollars at the boathouse which is pretty easy because it's expensive you'll get a discount on your ride at the bottom of your receipt all right pros for this one good for seafood lovers who know good seafood when they taste it and want to feel like you're on a seaside vacation this might do the trick also a good selection of cocktails and those fun instagram and tick tock cocktails that might even come with a souvenir cons it's super expensive you want quality lobster you're gonna have to pay for it this place is packed all the time if it's got good food but they are making a lot of money from it that's also not best for those looking for a faster dining experience this is going to take a good chunk of time out of your shopping day overall boathouse you know what it's controversial some people love it some people absolutely hate it but i've had good experiences there the food's been good so i'm gonna give it a 8.5 out of 10. okay time to talk about french fries and gravy and cheese the daily poutine is next disney springs has a counter service dedicated to that beloved canadian french fry dish this spot is located in town center it serves almost exclusively poutine now this is kind of a kiosk they have a little bit of outdoor seating but it's mostly going to be order at the window take your food away and eat it now the menu changes with the season we've seen thanksgiving inspired poutines cheeseburger poutines oktoberfest poutine comes back every year but the traditional poutine topped with gravy and cheddar cheese curds is around all year long now some folks love this stuff and some claim it's a knockoff of the genuine canadian made poutine for me though it's usually pretty good i mean it's french fries it's cheese and it's gravy what could possibly go wrong sometimes it's a little crispier than it is on other days but i think it's great pretty much all the time pros best for those wanting an afternoon pick-me-up but don't want something desserty although be careful because this is heavy it's a lot of carbs and it could end up weighing you down so you might want to share it with somebody and also a pro unique seasonal poutines featured all year long cons some poutine combos some of those seasonal ones are kind of hit or miss so don't try a new one unless you really really really are okay if it's not the best thing in the world and it might feel more like an off-brand of genuine canadian poutine if you're from canada overall i'm gonna give this one an eight out of ten all right we've made it over to the edison we love to see the edgy side of disney springs come out to play in the edison's industrial gothic some might stay steampunk atmosphere makes for an exciting night out the edison is across from that italian trio of restaurants in the landing and it's owned by the same company and its backstory is that it's supposed to look like a repurposed 1920s power plant it features classic american food craft cocktails and live entertainment like cabaret sometimes things get a little risque later in the evening so if you've got younger ones in your party go to the edison earlier in the day the restaurant opens around 11 30 a.m and after a certain time in the evening it does go to i believe 21 and over so just be aware of that but most people do come here for that late night entertainment and creative cocktails not necessarily for the food which is kind of overpriced and not that impressive not unlike the italian restaurants this company owns although the clothesline of candied bacon isn't something you see every day it's just not worth 18 which is shocking because it used to be 13 so it's already gone up in price five bucks now i can go home and hang bacon on a clothesline all by myself something else that's cool here if you're there with a group of people is you can get alcoholic drinks in a big punch bowl so you can get literally an entire punch bowl of a particular drink if you like it that much it's gonna be a hundred dollars but it comes with several glasses and a ladle so you can all share it it can be a good deal if you have enough people all right pros best for nighttime entertainment and drinks probably the best nighttime entertainment location in disney springs and also best for steampunk fans if you're into that so if you want different in disney this is different in disney cons food is often overpriced and only okay not a fan of paying for the novelty of it and not great for those who get uncomfortable when it comes to cabaret or a nightlife environment weekends after 5 pm get really packed here so plan ahead overall a 7 out of 10. next on our list is the ganachery where you think in disney springs had enough dessert offerings well get ready for some more the gadashari is a gourmet chocolate shop owned by disney run by disney located in the landing that spotlights house-made ganache truffles and chocolate bars you can even watch the chocolates being made thanks to the onstage chocolatiers those cooking demonstrations are mesmerizing and much like many of the dessert options around the springs there are seasonal offerings here too including seasonal chocolate pinatas which is a hollowed-out decorative chocolate orb filled with all sorts of fun goodies that you get to break open with a little wooden mallet it's the ultimate anger management treat pros here best for chocoholics who want high-quality house-made chocolate instead of the mass-produced stuff you'll find at the grocery store and seasonal treats and interactive chocolate pinatas for an added element of fun cons is that the quality house-made chocolate is very costly this is going to be artisan chocolate this is stuff that you need to save for and if you need something savory this is not the place for you overall going to give ganashiri which is really more a store than a restaurant there's no seating or anything in here and 8 out of 10. okay we've come up to the polite pig now in disney world there's good barbecue like real eagle smokehouse in abcot and there's okay barbecue like those basic pulled pork sandwiches you'll find at most quick service locations now the polite pig is good barbecue the polite pig is located in town's center and not only serves up a variety of wood-fired smoked and grilled items but also has an extensive menu of over 50 types of bourbons at their bourbon bar there's indoor and outdoor seating here it's a solid quick service meal even a solid place to grab a snack to share with the group you're gonna see a variety of different sides and there's often chef special sides here that you never know when they're gonna pop up or how long they're going to be here this place is run by james and julie petrakis who are james beard nominated chefs very very well known in the orlando area for places like the ravenous pig they own that as well now the hop salt pretzel is a crowd pleaser especially when you dip it in their beer cheese fondue and ipa mustard but there are overall just a lot of good options here and the line can get very very long so maybe go on off hours pros here lots of indoor and outdoor seating best for those looking for solid barbecue options fast food wise in the springs don't plan on eating at another barbecue place later on in the trip good bang for your buck as well cons not a great option if you're not a barbecue fan and this place can get packed out during peak dining times if you've already been to or are planning on going to regal eagle smokehouse or flametree barbecue then go ahead and try something different in disney springs there are plenty of options available but a lot of folks really do enjoy polite pig okay overall probably an 8.5 out of 10. t-rex is next you know what i said about rainforest cafe earlier just copy and paste that onto t-rex cafe but replace the rainforest setting with a prehistoric dinosaur setting and replace the thunderstorms with sporadic meteor showers yep t-rex is located in the marketplace section of disney springs and it's owned and run by the same people that own and run rainforest cafe this is technically the sibling restaurant of rainforest and there are some parts of this place that i like better not necessarily menu wise though they both have similar offerings that are overpriced and underwhelming but there's something about dining with dinosaurs and woolly mammoths giant octopus tentacles breaking through the ceiling in a color-changing prehistoric ice cave that might make the overpriced food worth it maybe just one time especially if you've got a little dinosaur fan in the group t-rex also isn't as prevalent in other locations around the united states so this really might be one of your only chances to try this immersive experience out pros best for the future paleontologist of your group or if ross from friends decides to tag along there's a large menu selection for a lot of different palettes but again most of it's overpriced and not that great sorry we're in the pros section here and it's really good and memorable theming you can sit inside a dinosaur i mean where else you're gonna do that cons food is underwhelming it's very expensive and it can get very loud we're talking about dinos and meteor showers so if you have someone who has sensory sensitivities this might not be the best place overall going to give this one a 6.5 out of 10. vividly ill gelato is next if you're wanting true gelato pulled directly from the menus of a florence italy storefront head to vivilly ill gelato in the landing the dfb team comes here often for updated reviews because the menu is constantly adding new seasonal treats they are definitely good at kind of marketing themselves with all of these brand new treats that bring people over to take pictures of them but some of our consistent favorites aside from the straight up gelato of course are the fruity sorbettos the thick and creamy milkshakes the gelato floats the cannolis and the bombollato which is made up of gelato sandwiched inside a toasty italian donut fair warning these treats can get pricey especially if you choose to order a spiked gelato float but you will get authentic gelato creations at this family run gelateria pros here authentic in traditional italian treats and fresh menu options often cons depending on what you order the bill can add up really quickly here and a random downside there are no free cups of water available here so if you need to wash down all that sweetness be prepared to pay for a drink or have a refillable water bottle on hand overall gonna give this one a seven out of ten wetzel's pretzels is next on our list now wetzel's isn't as prominent of a location around the u.s as starbucks per se but it does show up in your local mall and airport food courts once in a while so the fact that it's in the marketplace and west side sections of disney springs isn't shocking and there's nothing wrong with wetzel's pretzels it's got some decent soft pretzels and pretzel nuggets if you need a snack that's quick and familiar i would probably choose wetzel's over like an auntie annie's although i like those too but it's also pretty old hat even if you've never been to a wetzel's pretzels you've still tasted something similar if you've eaten a soft pretzel like ever in your life my favorites here are the sinful cinnamon that is my absolute favorite and every once in a while i will go out of my way to get a sinful cinnamon wetzel's pretzel pros here safe option to curb any savory cravings or even sweet cravings on the fly and con's been there done that overall gonna give this one a six out of ten we've made our way to wine bar george and wine bar george really is one of our favorite locations in disney world i'm a little salty over my last experience there because i had some bad service and i had overall a pretty bad experience i was trying to dine with some friends of mine and they wouldn't let me sit at the table with them so i had to basically go sit at the bar all by myself until they were done eating which was just weird i don't know why you would do that so i'm a little salty but again that's a personal anecdote so that has nothing to do with the fact that wine bar george usually has great food and decent service every restaurant can have an off day that's another reason why we do what we do here at dfb is we keep going back to the restaurants over and over and over again one review is not enough to know exactly what a restaurant is going to be like for you so we constantly keep going back so that we can build an even richer impression and review of a restaurant for you so that you have a more holistic view to rely on when you're deciding whether or not you want to go to these restaurants okay so wine bar george most of the time is really really excellent on the inside you've got that industrial chic look there's something extra special about eating out on a balcony as well lots of good people watching out there and if you're wanting a full entree here instead of a bunch of small plates you're going to have to time your visit just right because entrees are only available between 12 and 3 p.m but if you want to come here for brunch swing by on a saturday or sunday between 10 30 and 2. they'll give you a full wine country brunch to get you fueled up for the day looking for something more on the go try the basket at wine bar george this is the restaurant's attached counter service location located beneath the second story terrace this one features sandwiches small plates and picnic basket meals they've also got wine slushies here like the froze or frescato they're nice and refreshing and they're the perfect afternoon treat when you just can't beat the heat the real public service of wine bar george though is that their servers are very very knowledgeable about wine and they don't care if you are or not they are happy to help you walk through a wine list you can try a wine by the one ounce so if you don't want a full glass of wine you just want to see if you like something you can absolutely get one ounce of wine and see if you like it and they're really really good at explaining wine in an accessible way for those of us who don't know anything about it so pros here best for those wanting an extensive list of wines to choose from obviously also best for romantic date nights without having to pay for a prefix dinner at a signature restaurant and it's really good food they do an excellent job here and it's not all fancy either a lot of it is just good comfort food cons certain foods might not be available during the time frame you choose to visit also if you're not a fan of the whole wine and small plates vibe and you'd rather spend your money on something more substantial and it's probably not the best place for kids they're not a problem they'll just probably be bored i see lots of kids on their ipads there overall gonna give this one a 9 out of 10. wolfgang puck bar and grill is next there's a lot going on at wolfgang puck bar and grill but unlike parody so that's not a bad thing wolfgang puck is located in town center and features a modernized spin on traditional bar and grill classics now those of you who are long time visitors to disney springs and previously downtown disney you will remember there was two wolfgang puck express locations and of course the wolfgang puck dining room along with a more moderately priced restaurant below it all run by the wolfgang puck conglomerate and this new restaurant is the only one that's left in disney springs that has that wolfgang puck name but that doesn't mean it's lacking in quality this is an excellent restaurant i really really like it and i think it's very underrated a lot of people don't even know it's here but it's an awesome option if you are looking for a great meal that can suit a lot of different palettes they've got marilyn blue crab cakes barbecue pulled pork pizza chicken schnitzel several other california asian fusion varieties that call out to a range of eaters both choosy and adventurous one of my favorite things here is an appetizer it's basically just chips with blue cheese sauce but it's excellent chips excellent blue cheese sauce over the top just really really well done so one of the coolest parts about this place though is that walk up gelato bar outside you definitely want to check that place out and if they have any gelato margaritas on their menu you definitely want to grab one of those too to dine inside wolfgang puck you're going to need an advanced dining reservation most of the time they do have walk-up wait lists too though and for a scoop of gelato just belly up to the outdoor bar and order a scoop or two pros on this one best if you're looking for a menu with a variety of very high quality options the walk-up gelato window is definitely a pro and the open kitchen allows you to watch the chefs work their magic cons not best for those who need something to eat pretty quick this isn't a fast food location it is closer to a signature restaurant and another con it you may already have something similar in your area wolfgang has a lot of restaurants so if you've got a wolfgang puck bar and grill in your area it's gonna be the same sort of thing overall gonna give this one an eight out of ten here we are at yasaki last but not least we're going to look at this little tiny kiosk on the west side that gets overlooked so much more than it deserves yasake is a build your own poke bowl location with lots of fresh ingredients and proteins of choice you can also get bow buns and boba teas here yasake has pretty limited outdoor seating but when you do find a seat you'll be able to enjoy a fairly healthy and quick meal simple and satisfying pros this is best for those who don't want to wait in a forever long line for food and it's relatively substantial food too and those fresh poke bowls there's not really too many other places to get those cons limited seating and not an extensive list of options here overall yasaki gets a 7.5 out of 10. okay we did it we actually did it we made it through all the disney springs restaurants aka the best food park on disney
