hello dear friends welcome to another gis and the most things thing youtube channel videos today inshallah we will discuss about digital image processing especially we will talk about regulatory corrections and before starting the tutorial don't forget to like share and subscribe the channel and also you can share the channel with your scientific persons now come to radiometric corrections as you know as you know a satellite image and when capture a picture for the first time this call to raw image and only in here raw demo sensing image always have errors in the value recorded for the pixels this error is called radiometric errors each satellite image have two types of corrections in pro in processing stage the first one is the geometry corrections and the second is a radiometric correction geometric reactions that involve the removal and normalization of factors that distort the geometric image like the heat of the earth surface phenomena the angle of view of the satellite and also the shape of earth here's a uh one question that all scientific person think what is the effect of spectral errors all we can say what of what what are the effect of retimetric errors uh that cause of radiometric error or atmospheric effect an instrumental error in effect the electromagnetic energy is reflected or emitted from a distance from the ground when they read the sensors are not the same as the electromagnetic energy reflected or emitted on the ground what means as you see in the picture when the sun is shining on the earth it means those [Music] those energy is coming from sun to the earth and from air to the sensor is not the same it should be goated again i repeated when the sun or wind the shine or or we can say when the radiance is in sun come to in the air and from earth in the sky go to in the sensor is not in the same effect of spectral errors or we can say effect of radiometric errors or 14 sensor sun angle topography and atmosphere here we can say radiometric correction means that the removal and normalization of factors which factors those factors that have a negative effect on the electromagnetic waves reaching the sensors those errors or factors that have a negative effect on what on electromagnetic waves that reach in sensors for example the atmosphere and topography of the earth are the most important factor here is a another question why we then correction here's the answer radiometer correction is done to reduce or crack errors in the digital number of image every image has a digital number for correction and reduce of error in the digital number we use radiometric correction second is then to improve interpretability and analysis of image and to standardize images second particularly useful when comparison scene over a period of time in here we have a tree three way we can say three part of ready meter correction the first one is angling sun angle correction second is nice correction and third one is atmospheric corrections in this tutorial we will work but practically on side angle corrections here's the formula equations and come to the last slide regimented crashing processes is done in many many softwares by the name of arcgis envy erdas and morden the leaf the left picture is a before correction picture and the right is after correction picture here's you can clearly know what is the change what's the difference okay now come to arc magnum environment and now i want to add a lancet image data radiometric and we have a landsat 8 the patrol is here the date is here we can use here number bound for at okay in here i want to change some things like um here and also we can display background value 0 to change here we can if we if i zoom or you will see some things here but after correction also you can see what happened for correction we go to arc toolbox it takes some time for the first time come to a spatial analyst tools and uh go to map algebra raster call clear in lasted calculator we should use this image and also as you know in first i have said uh we use sun angle correction where the value of sun angle correction now come to here as you know the image i i used you can compress we can use landsat 8 1 5 1 0 3 5 here the image says every image has a metadata file by the name of text document if you open it here we have sent angle here sun elevation sun elevation value this value should be copy okay this number should be copy and come to clc and here should i paste and come to here get the sign here's the sign number copy this once go back go back and go back here we add this um image divided in paste number output should be here and also for us but you can use this ones ctrl c here should be copy underscore correction dot tiff just okay after correction you can clearly know the changes and the beneficiary of corrections okay here i use this ones the displacer okay in windows we have image analysis in here we can use the corrections and also we have in here we have swipe if you swipe it take a second yeah you can know clearly what is the change okay i come to another place which place should i select for uh describing in here in here i zooming i want to change the value okay the color ram i use this ones and also for the this ones and this one's yeah in here should i okay here you clearly know clearly the change okay how i want to describe and the glacier specialized persons no this one is a glaciers and this one is there debris ichika yeah here you can see this is the glacier part and also these are debris but you can you can't and we can say distinguish here the colors you can see this color is the same with this color okay if you know map the glacier you must be mapped here as a glacier but this is a debris scavenger after correction this unicreation these are the debris this is the beneficial of radiometric reaction in every part you can see check and as you can see you can check any classes what is the beneficiary of the radiometric corrections also you can check see here here you know clearly what difference okay thank you so much for watching the videos and for more support us don't forget or we can say please like share and subscribe the channel you can share this channel with your um scientific persons those are left to work with jazz and the music thank you bye
