I actually enjoyed it lol. The only thing that ruined it for me was when Alonso was within drs range of Lewis and VSC got deployed. He didnโt have the tyres to get within the range again for the rest of the race.
As for the outcome podium places were occupied by deserved drivers. Shame for Pierre though.
The cherry on top of this shit sandwich is that the FIA is going to look at the pace of the โmidfieldโ cars when they were being DRS towed around the circuit by the top teams as validation that their stupid active aero handicap gimmick has merit (https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/f1s-active-aero-plans-for-2026-could-include-reverse-drs/10406751/ for the uninitiated). Iโm not exactly sure how I feel about 4 DRS zones at every track, but the pace of Gasly when he was getting pulled along by Sainz and his huge drop as soon as he lost DRS feels like precisely the kind of validation the ghouls in the FIA would look for when weighing the benefits of their active aero nonsense.
I'm probably the only one but fucking hell I miss Crofty in these
What happened to Crofty on the highlights?
This race made me think of Bottas bowling lmao what a mayhem
Like others said. Without crofty and co this highlight feels to much netlix. Like the f1 crew and all but day and night difference. To my opinion.
