I actually saw a thing about part of this documentary a bit ago. Here's the clip.
I love these sort of docs, but I always try to watch partially skeptical and partially enthralled.

It is always healthy to question things and explore alternative ideas.
I don't dislike Hancock or anything... but there is a whole lot of BS in this show, especially the underwater "ruins" part.
You can't spell pseudoarchaeology without archaeology.
I've always had a soft spot for pseudoarcheology. Those guys are the underdogs. They're the ones you root for in science fiction and fantasy stories. Milo from Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Daniel Jackson from Stargate and Indiana Jones all come to mind.
This is documentary about the hypotheses of a former journalist turned pseudo-scientist / wanna-be-archaeologist.
The very first thing mentioned in the video are the so-called Yonaguni Monument off the coast of Japan. It's a natural rock formation, not a pyramid. See this article at Skeptoid.
Other articles about Hancock:
This guy is decidedly not a scientist, historian or archaeologist. Take the documentary with at least a Mount Everest sized portion of salt.
This series is excellent. Not only is it well thought out and explained. The theories put forward have genuine weighted facts behind them. Not everything is proven, but it is very interesting. Thank you for posting.
