all right I know I've been telling everybody I would do a QA so I have a bunch of questions I'll probably do two or three right now and I'll keep continually doing this and as more questions come in I'll do some more I think the biggest question I have asked all the time is you know do I still work with either OCC or Junior I'll give you the quick answer is no the little longer answer is no you know what in 2007 August 2007 I quit OCC anybody who watches the show probably saw that that wasn't staged or anything like that it's real and it felt good and so within a month I had a shop I knew what I wanted to do I knew I wanted to get out of there for a while and you know I opened up a shop I named it V force Customs Cody wanted to leave - he left about a month after I did and of course they had me in a non-compete and all that other stuff so I couldn't really do much right away but I was allowed to build bikes and that's what I did and it was cool I liked it man I had I bought CNC machines I had a water jet I had a nice big shop and it worked out well but you know custom bikes to survive in that industry it's tough you you really got a bump out some bikes or you have to have really low overhead or a TV show because that always makes it a lot easier but I did not have one so you know it didn't last that long I maybe till 2012 I did that but it's you know it's a struggle and to do custom work you really need to be set up I mean very profuse in it because custom work takes time and shop time is very expensive and it's not like it was a hobby and I was funding it with another business I had it was all I had so you know I so in 2009 Friday almost 2010 jr. asked me if I wanted to do the show again so he came to my shop talking about it I didn't say yes right away I kind of thought about it thought of some conditions and stuff and I wanted to I wanted to have nothing to do with Orange County I promised myself I would never ever do anything with them again so I had it I was very particular about what I did when I went back there and I didn't actually work for jr. he hired me from my company as like a contractor so I still had V Force customs at the time I kept it open worked there as well and I did that until the end of 2012 I think it was the last biker build-off we did that was the last time we filmed in 2012 December of 2012 and that was the last time I filmed with American Chopper so now here we are 2018 people still think that I still work for junior which I didn't but that's pretty much how it went in 2013 when I got done filming with junior I I knew I wasn't gonna build custom bikes anymore I sold my water jet I wanted to buy all shop equipment I wanted to work on cars I did auto repair in the past I loved doing auto repair I love doing custom work too and maybe again in the future sometime when my business gets really good and I can kind of do my own thing I'll definitely get some CNC machines again and start making parts cuz I really enjoy doing that but you really got to focus on that stuff and you know it just wasn't working out so so then I do a full auto repair still do some service and repair on bikes I don't do any custom work I mean I'll do it on my own stuff because I still like building things but I kind of like that more of it as a hobby and often times you ruin hobbies by doing them turning them into work but the auto repair thing I love it I love coming into work every day I love having my own shop I love my customers I have the greatest customer clientele we got some pretty big fleet accounts so I'm happy what I do I go to work every day happy and that's what's important it's the probably the first time my life since I've had my own business doing auto repair that I could say that I love going to work every day I'm never never ticked off it's more than I could say for when I was filming you know it was a if you like this channel and my content please subscribe also click the bell so you can constantly get notifications of new content thank you
