[Music] danger Dan oh yeah oh that's the one I've been feeding my dog with okay yep I think was looking at it on the way out here anyway yeah well anyway what's up Dan exec what's up Zach here you didn't welcome back to daily transmission as herd says this is pretty sweet we just got out here and noticed or well the car that's here the truck that's here is something Dan sent me a couple of weeks back he stopped would give me the story I was actually after surf sesh with Kyle going to get some burritos skating through town made a hard turn because I saw this truck and I was like i sat there for a while and just looked at it and was like where's the owner of this truck I gotta talk to this guy so I'm pretty pumped of this year right now oh yeah you stocked a man and you brought him here [Music] [Music] [Music] so brother yeah yeah introduce yourself to the people my name is Sean brought to you guys a 1964 c10 pickup I mean everybody else sees them around they like them they look cool but the one thing throws everybody off is the right hand drive conversion letters on it wait a minute wait a minute what's going on with what in the Sam hell is this what's the deal with this man because the dash and everything is like correct for right hand drive yeah I mean you know certain people know how to do things right I cut out the instrument panel around on the dash and then I cut out the dash or the glove box from the dash and then basically flipped those because the instrument panel bezel and the globe box door are just that yeah different size so I couldn't just flip flop them over check the you know the heater controls and move those over and the factory little bead rolled piece over there that used to be for like another set of climate controls I'll be damned so at the top of the dash the ashtray and the radio delete piece are the only pieces that are stuck from the truck from being 64 and sitting off to just the label oh so you've made this a right-hand drive 64 c10 what made you want to do it just be different yeah yeah hey hold on a second I've never I've actually never sat in a right-hand drive vehicle you know like this is sort of appropriately see it throws off your balance you couldn't even tuck your head in right yeah it takes some getting used to but once you do it you're like okay it's not bad no man I don't know how to feel about this I'm not sure what to do with my hand see he does this thing where he always has his arm out the window oh yeah yeah you gotta get a hold on when you're ripping [ __ ] 'yes but I don't have any strength in my right arm like feel like this lat it's got clamping force yeah so what that's dual that dual drive through it in and out when you have the right side and you go through the left side drive through throws them off like crazy what's up with the wheels well those are factory Chevy wheels just new wheels and I I'm big on the whole desert off-road team you know penny pension is my number one motto and build it you know before you buy it and I worked at a place up in Oregon building trailers and we had a plans table so I told the guy that was running the class table to cut me out some 3/16 plate rings and they're literally a sixteenth over the lip of the wheel and a rubber mallet they popped right in that's awesome so it's instead of having bead locks I hope you looked be looks I'm fine yeah let's go watch oh yeah see this guy you know you know he fits in here 3 out of 5 lug nuts that's balanced I put two more on there's probably gonna bounce all over the red it was originally a California truck from Canada Chevrolet in Hawthorne California and it spent about ten and a half years of its life in SoCal and then went up to Oregon and you know 33 plus years it lived in a field in Oregon and then I got it from a guy who had about another 10 years with it sitting back behind the barn did some trade work with him and now it's back down in California nice we pop the hood see what's that's a real fat straight man it's so loads yeah just seeing the motor that low is crazy yeah the k-member sitting on the ground it's actually sitting on the frame rails right now the the crossmember the rear animal and the trailing arms are the only thing that our factory from any running gear framework anything like that but when I first built the truck a couple years ago I pancake the crossmember an inch and a half just to get it to sit lower with the factory six inch tall frame and then I started you know like I said building it two and a half years ago about a year ago I started building it again and I had the crossmember and the rear end sitting in my garage floor I was like alright well I'm just gonna build a frame so I built a custom 2x4 box to frame bumper-to-bumper use the factory again crossmember trailing arms and rear end and that's basically besides a sheetmetal all that's left from sixty four everything else got chicken I mean honestly like it's you made a good choice there because this is probably 1 million percent sturdier than my chances yeah and there's no twist I was when I was building it the first time I was gonna plate the frame I was gonna fill all the holes and I started counting I have like 36 holes now one frame rail that I had to fill it's like no I'm not about to fill that many hold on this right so we literally just started cutting it piecing it together took it to a shop I worked out over in Vegas use the frame cable Saturday built the whole frame and then Sunday took it home and it's literally never seen a garage attain its life way he built you build an entire frame and it did yep when you talk out so is this uh what's just I see you got iron block still iron heads yeah it's a 1996 454 Gen 5 hugger it's actually how to be one of a go okay des amis got an RV cam stock in my yeah hit might I mean I don't know I don't know what should be in it but it definitely gets the job done whenever you want to pass some Honda's and set car alarms off go down the road yeah I like this cog system you got here yeah it's a inch and a half Gilmer Drive kit basically a functioning grooved setup instead of being a circuit teen where the you know felt the ponies about the same way a Tavi belt which always flip mm-hmm I just wanted a little bit more force and with the motor be and you know set back three inches in the firewall I can't you know put an authentic blower on it so I'll go with a nice little cog belt just turned you know you can't got blower vibes I can't get everything but I'll get something no oh that brings us to another point which is uh there's a whole lot of room up here that normally wouldn't be here yep so you got the coolant lines just running yep down each frame rail yep custom mounts going down the frame there on the top kind of edge of the frame just so that way have ground clearance and there's so much more airflow go underneath keeping all the tubing cool keeping a radiator cool in the back I got two 10-inch fans you know stuck from the back a radiator so Scotto take notes just do this let's get that Nova background it it Schrader valve up there yes sir you got a you got a whole lot of party going on back here this is like this is like more what you see in drift cars [ __ ] yeah but wasn't expecting to see it when I walked back here yeah and when it when I first saw obviously didn't get to talk to you and the hood was down I was like okay the radiators here well I could see the motor and then I kind of peeked through there but yeah it's really slick both a little ISIL you know screen up there so that when I'm going down the road I don't pick off any reflectors you know the lane dividers which I've done a couple times but yeah it's you know it's keep it simple stupid you know that's that's one of my mottos if it's buildable build it if you can't afford it then you know do what you can to make an app yourself yeah what is this link for what's like that is okay so that's a watch link yeah I've heard the name I've just you know I don't do the bag stuff yeah it's all about I mean it's super central for the rear end especially with anything with bags you know when you go up and down with the bags multiple times in a pan our car your rear end will walk side to side just movement so a watch link is centered it won't side shift and will you know jostle around around it like that so it's definitely a good way to go a couple of buddies from Vegas kind of led me on to it did my research and haven't had a problem yet oh yeah dude I can't get over how good like the patina looks like yes that's like it's the appearance of perfect amount of rust you have to to stock paint ratio that's 55 years of long hard farm work and just Oregon weather was beaten as well I mean like it doesn't have like huge holes in it did you patch any rust down I mean this nope that's where a bumper used to mouth I was taking it off a trailer one day and didn't have it high enough and I stabbed the hole in the cab right there and then I think the only other rest I have is right here on the side of the hood and the other kind of selling point for the right-hand drive was there's a hole on that side of the floorboard I didn't want to get my feet wet so I figured mom why not kill two birds one stone right-hand drive dry shoes can't get you better that you didn't want to get his feet wet so we converted it to right-hand drive this big brain time I noticed you got some headers you got any like muffler any resonator that they're just straight open straight open it's really quiet for straight can you fire this up yeah I mean like first straight open headers on a big block you kind of just generally assume it's gonna be crazy for some loud let me to tell is it that 4-inch pipe coming out there [Music] [Music] I wanna see a party I like I like on shimmies a little I know it doesn't have any inner fenders the kind of supported that's how it should be yeah it's a little shimmy what's up hey Hank heard a v8 came running he's like that v8 [Music] yeah yeah that's quick I can't see anything from up here well damn as a quickest pop we've had yeah oh yeah which one only one blue yeah definitely Alan if big-block one-wheel peel yeah hell yeah man it appears I still have an inner liner yeah man doesn't look pop to me might see if we got a little more all right I like that attitude [Music] [Applause] yeah yep I'd say it's five now hey is that a wrap is that a wrap bag that's a wrap good not
