Pulled over for windshield TINT...

oh this good here is good here is this you keep going hi there hi uh first and foremost i do have a little firearm on me i have a loaded firearm on me why i have sccw okay where's your vm uh on my tip okay you have two hips which one uh front right okay wow you see your driver's license please stop for your tinted windows no front plate sure uh it's in my front left pocket okay go ahead and reach bud you have your ccw with you yes sir see that please sure thank you what are you curious again business said yeah i've talked to other people that you know i'm a realtor or something like that oh yeah there you go why do you have your own windshield for my eyes i know it's not they're really light sensitive to sunlight pretty much is why i did it you know you can't do that though right yes sir have you been stopped for it before no sir okay do you have your registration on the insurance if i do it's in the glove box i think i do okay reach for it yes please okay all righty i bought the truck from arizona and i don't know if i have the california registration on me four months yeah i have california it's registered in california but i don't know if i have that printed yes yeah i just i have the a dot paperwork so the arizona paperwork oh i'm sorry here i do there you go as far as insurance goes i don't have that on me i didn't i didn't print drugs i have insurance yeah all right no proof of it i don't have proof on me right now what uh where'd you get that plate uh it's the original plate um but i finally wrapped it i vinyl wrapped it you vinyl wrapped the plate yeah one no good reason yeah just to make it look more like uniform with the truck because that plastic area on the back bumper is all black and the white just i'm a big car guy and just the look of the white plate didn't look very good but it is a sticker and it peels right off um so that's why i did it no real reason okay you know you're not supposed to do that but you did yes sir you know you're not supposed to have tinted you know front windshield that you did yes sir [Music] do you wear sunglasses i do but it might be another option you're right i'm not too sure what he's doing but he's looking up some sort of code i think on his book i'm not too sure [Applause] but i don't know he seems the most concerned with the window tank i don't know we shall see what happens mr bringer yes sir here's your license your ccw and your registration okay all right just gonna issue a fixing ticket for the uh tinted windows sure all right and the insurance and the insurance okay i'm gonna warn you just for not having the front plate and uh that's right facing your uh your other license plate defacing oh okay yeah okay yeah should i remove that wrap yeah yeah yeah we'll do i mean how did you do that anyway just kind of curious i've been wrapping my own cars for so many years and i have a machine that cuts material so i wrapped it in the base color is it like a same thing that's on the same thing that's on the body of this truck right here it's all a sticker so i just yeah so it kind of goes on top of the of the body and then i just put decals on top to match the lettering yeah like when you have a machine that uh you go out and catch some fish and you you put it in a bag and you take the air out of the bag i lay it in so that's how that's how i do that part how did you uh okay because i just touched like the raised california yeah oh okay so that's that's what i use kind of use like a knife no i use a plotter so a machine that cuts the decals for me yeah and then i just put those on top of the original color or the bottom color the base color i should say so okay that's all there was to it but i mean i kind of see because the california color is the same colors yeah as this you know so i understand how you're attaching it yeah yeah going for something different but i'm not excited for it thank you thank you but the the windows and even at night it's a little harder to see out yeah your mirrors or pedestrians bicycles things like that i agree all right so yeah i mean these windows back here can be as dark as you want okay put your front uh driver and pester window and especially your your windshield cannot okay okay it's not a moving violation got a point uh you're gonna have until let's see the eighth of september to get this taken care of by okay then it gets signed off by a police officer court official use your finger saying your name here in the box sure by signing you're not admitting guilt it's just a promise to take care of this by that date all right you understand what i've explained yes sir okay any questions or concerns no i don't think so yeah i was actually going that way and i looked over and i saw you yeah oh look at that yeah i saw you i saw you there yeah turned around came back and just waited for you very cool i saw that yeah no worries i'm sorry one more time though i take this down to the police station and get it signed off yeah so once you get that these are getting removed got it or or the court yeah and down there at the bottom um where those boxes are yes sir yeah i see the sections of the insurance and the yeah the uh tint okay there okay very good yeah um just i would keep that in your vehicle get stopped again go look i already got a ticket okay all right all righty any other questions or concerns no i appreciate it thank you so much thank you bye [Applause] all right that wasn't too bad actually window tint that's not terrible we can fix that i can't remember the last time i had a ticket it's been years for sure and i'm pretty sure the last time i had a ticket was for window tint as well i was driving through some beach town in my silverado and i had a windshield tint and the officer stopped me on foot which is even funnier because he was walking and he like waved me over he was like pull over and i pulled over and then he got went to his car and turned the lights on and made an official traffic stop got me for the windshield team anyways got a ticket today for the windows being obstructed example being window tint material etc that is citation number one i got two citations on here and the other one is for failure to provide proof of financial responsibility um in other words my insurance so both are correctable which is cool so i have to do is correct the issue show proof of insurance to an officer or a court official that's all there is to that one and then with the window tint i need to remove it and then take it down to the court official or officer as well and have it signed off at the same time so what i'll probably do is wait until later on to sign off the window 10 ticket because until my due date here of september 8th i have immunity while i have this ticket for the window tint although he did warn me for the no front plate so i could still get a ticket for that because i bought the truck in arizona and out in arizona they don't require front license plates on vehicles so i don't have one on the front of my truck here i have the bracket for it in the back seat underneath the back seat i don't want to put it on but if i need to in the future becomes an issue then i will um but yeah the rear license plate on my truck is also wrapped i wrapped it in a gloss black and then put white lettering on top because out in california we don't have cool license plates and the white plate didn't look good on my bumper because it's all black so i wrapped it in black and then put white numbers on top it's kind of like reverse the color scheme of it and he let me know that that's not cool so i should probably remove it so i'll do that right now but as for the window tint i'll probably leave that on for another little while closer to the the date here on the ticket when it needs to be done by um and then i'll get signed off closer to that time and followers to it so we're good to go super cool cop and here's my windshield tent at 40 it's pretty dang dark so i get it definitely a uh good reason to stop me in the no front plate so i was at an intersection waiting to go this way and then he was going through the intersection going that way and he just the blue it's the blue 100 caught his eye and he was like oh no front plate and oh windshield tint so he uh he turned around and then he turned right and then waited on the corner for me to pass through and then went right behind me and pulled me over right there so yeah but i got a warning for the no front plate and the rear license plate being wrapped so this is coming off right now for those who aren't familiar with california plates um that is not a standard plate color scheme um the one i had or this plate right here is originally white on the background and then a dark blue here on the plate numbers and then a red in the california i wrapped it in glossy black with white plate numbers and uh blue on the california to match the wrap of my truck so that's coming off right now but i'll hold off on removing the window tint for another little while because my ticket's not due until september so i have some time to remove the window tank i just want to remove the lettering here and the tailgate i don't think i like that anymore like it just seems kind of cleaner without that so i'll probably take that off right now as well but uh yeah hopefully it doesn't move or mess up the wrap underneath it but we shall see [Music] there we have it back to basics yeah look that the tender lettering is pretty clean but yeah the plate we are heading up to daylight window tint tomorrow to get the roof ppf in satin uh clear bra so pretty cool right there also the new wheels dude i totally forgot to mention new wheels are going on uh by this weekend so stay tuned for
