PS5 TIPS & TRICKS Things You Need to Know

did you know you can see all your gameplay time by going up to the profile the top right hand corner going down to profile going over to games and then it's calling through to your heart's content oh that's embarrassing welcome back to the channel today i'm going to be going over some need to know tips and tricks for your lovely new ps5 let's get into it right guys so if we go through some sound settings to start with if you go up to settings come down to sound down to audio output i use the mix amp so some of my settings might be slightly different to what yours are looking like but if you come all the way down home screen music that noise you can hear now and obviously if you click on any of the games some games have audio like the new spider-man and astros playroom so you want to turn that off turn that off the noise that you're getting from going up and down sound effects you can turn that off there as well also if you picked yourself up a pair the pulse headset obviously you're excited about the 3d audio but a lot of headphones do have 3d 3d audio enabled as well so just have a look into that but to get the best out of that make sure 3d audio is ticked and then you can go for your presets so it comes with five presets already on i use type two but everyone will be different pick the best one that suits you the most in terms of controller so you can mute your audio by pressing this button once and then by pressing and holding you mute all audio which is a nice little feature you can now use your voice to search for stuff as well so if you go up to search go to this little microphone here subscribe to bro views close enough it does actually work let's just prove that god of war there we go done before it derrick having such a small memory on the ps5 if you're bringing over an external hard drive from your ps4 nice little setting you can use if you go up to settings [Music] down to storage extended storage make sure any new ps4 games that you're installing onto the console will go directly to the external hard drive rather than eat up your storage on your ps5 which is nice make sure you're getting that ticked the ps5 has now added a long awaited wish list which is nice so if you go on to any games just kick fifa you can add it to your wishlist [Music] another little thing as well if you go up to settings go down to notifications all the way down to the bottom you've got wishlist updates so if you'd tick show pop-ups if there's any deals or anything go on any any games you've got on your wishlist you'll get notified of it which is very helpful saves you going on the store all the time as you may already know they've sort of reversed the feature from the ps4 where you used to sort of have to hold down ps4 button to bring you up to your quick menu and tap to go to home now it's reversed so tap gets your quick menu and holding down will go to home so down here as well you've got a selection of different options that you can choose from but if you hit the options button you can customize which ones you want on there so if you're planning on streaming anything off here you can have quick access in their issues there's a vr one but i don't have currently everyone plugged in so yeah you can just sort of go through have the ones you actually want and don't want on there if you're a bit of a trophy hunter as well and you want to record your footage or screenshots go up settings down to capture and broadcast trophies so you can obviously enable screenshots you can have this as well so you can have duration 15 seconds or 30 seconds leading up to the trophy pop bear in mind this will potentially if you are a bit of a trophy hunter fill up your storage pretty quick another cool little feature is you can set game presets so if you go to save data and game go down to game presets if you like to play your games and have the hardest or easiest difficulty you can set this on here performance mode so whether you're after highest fps from performance or looking for them tasty graphics and utilizing the ray tracing ability you can sort of set it here rather than having to do it in game every time play with subtitles or anything like that you can change that here as well so that this will work for the mass majority of games it'll just save and automatically go into it with it a couple little things to finish off then you can use your ps4 controller on the ps5 just by syncing it up as you would have but it will only work on ps4 games it won't work on any of the ps5 games it'll give you a message pop up straight away let you know if you can use it or not you can eject the disk from any one of the games regardless if that's the actual disc in there it will let you eject the discs just by clicking options and going down to that last little tip guys i strongly recommend you play in astros playroom it utilizes all the new features of the ps5 and the dual sense it gives you a nice little overview of what to expect from
