this is Rick the electronics guy I'm back with another Playstation this time I'm working on a playstation fat has ylb it is one of my friends and I'm going to show you how to fix this first you're going to pop you a little rubber piece out where your warranty sticker would be if you haven't already done so and take your scooter once you get that up you can take your top cover off turn around grab your Philips screwdriver go to town take all the screws you can see out on top once you get it open unplug your power supply you start taking the screws up now this one has been previously fixed for YLOD not by me by somebody else and I'm sure they just did the regular YouTube heat the bottom at the top with taking Network card out and now we're down to the board as you can see whoever did this last put barely anything on here and this is why with all the air pockets and the bubbles that it's got no wonder why it went fouled make sure you clean your chips off you and once this is all complete once this is complete this is when we're going to start our stove grab a glass drop it down put it up on three let it get hot once it gets hot we'll start back with the video again so we're back when we let the stove warm up and we're getting ready to put our ps3 board on there just going to do some final quick cleaning off on the chip as you can see I have not put any flux on there whatsoever get you wood blocks you need to have your wood blocks now that the stove is nice and warm we're going to put her in three make sure she's on three and we're gonna drop her down just like that and we're going to let it cook we're gonna let it cook for about five to ten minutes or so on the bottom and in that time we're going to come over here and we're going to clean the top so as you can see we got all our existing stuff thermal paste on here we're going to remove that because we want to have a nice good clean job for this as you can see it's still a little wet it never cured 100% it's gonna always be a little wet but it was never put down right the first time which will make it go bad more q-tips and yes when you have it all apart take it outside and blow it out that way you know it's all clean and dust and on that note I will get back to you once we get ready to start back on the board okay we're back now that it's been sitting for about 10 minutes and she's nice one way to get our heater going on low let it get warm for a minute and we'll start heating our chips up from the top side while the bottom sides been cooking for 10 minutes once that's done let her bake for another five to ten minutes and then you'll shut this off for about a half an hour so in five to ten minutes I'm going to shut this off and let it sit for about twenty to thirty minutes I'll see you then all right we're back now that it's all kind of cooled off still a little warm like I want you to keep it we're going to take it off right there and we're going to start working on it again well the first thing we're going to do is grab our Arctic silver 5 get down once you get both of those covered then you're going to grab your fam Qixing get your Arctic silver again and drop it down like that now that you've done with your arctic silver go ahead and put the cap on it put it away now what you're going to do with these you get a Betty's a little bit so that it makes it stronger and it applies more pressure down to the chip play your band back in look that wire around dab your bottom case slide straight down in we got to plug the wire and pull now we're gonna plug it in you don't still record right sorry you see a mess I'm in my son's room and as you can see it's up on the screen hit the jug button buddy wants his game out DC universe system was not turned off properly last time you used it bad and that's it for the repair thanks guys thanks guys for watching enough rip the electronics guy and as you can see I did it again have a good day alright thanks Rick
