hundreds gathered here in<font color="#E5E5E5"> Times Square</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">today to rally against Ilan Omar now the</font> group was<font color="#CCCCCC"> called ela and Omar must go</font> org and<font color="#E5E5E5"> their mission was to put up a</font> billboard<font color="#E5E5E5"> asking for her removal they</font> <font color="#CCCCCC">believed</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> that the congresswoman in the</font> past had<font color="#CCCCCC"> sent some</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> comments that were</font> perceived<font color="#E5E5E5"> as anti-semitic and that</font> because she's on the<font color="#E5E5E5"> house of Foreign</font> <font color="#CCCCCC">Affairs</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> Committee those comments could</font> be seen as controversial especially <font color="#E5E5E5">internationally and as a threat</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> now I</font> spoke to a bunch of<font color="#E5E5E5"> people today who</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> are</font> both rallying to support the<font color="#CCCCCC"> Billboard</font> and also rallying for<font color="#CCCCCC"> elon Omar</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> the</font> comments that she's made on<font color="#E5E5E5"> social media</font> and on through her position in Congress <font color="#E5E5E5">are absolutely reprehensible</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">she makes anti-semitic comments and</font> rhetoric<font color="#E5E5E5"> day after day and for an</font> American who<font color="#E5E5E5"> stands for truth and</font> justice<font color="#E5E5E5"> and liberty</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> for</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> all it's on it's</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">just unfair it's wrong to hate another</font> in this country especially<font color="#E5E5E5"> as an</font> immigrant<font color="#CCCCCC"> I believe that representative</font> Omar is a progressive champion she fights for<font color="#CCCCCC"> justice and liberation for</font> <font color="#CCCCCC">all of us I solidly believe in Jews and</font> Muslims uniting to defeat white nationalism<font color="#CCCCCC"> I think that the folks</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">across the street have a vile racist</font> <font color="#CCCCCC">Islamophobic agenda and I'm here to show</font> <font color="#CCCCCC">that young Jews at least</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> stand in</font> solidarity with<font color="#E5E5E5"> Ilhan Omar</font> interestingly enough<font color="#E5E5E5"> the Billboard did</font> not make it<font color="#CCCCCC"> up today</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> they had to resort</font> to<font color="#E5E5E5"> putting it on a truck because they</font> did<font color="#E5E5E5"> not get city approval apparently</font> some of the images on<font color="#CCCCCC"> the</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> Billboard were</font> a little too controversial<font color="#E5E5E5"> there is</font> footage of 9/11 which on many are seeing here<font color="#E5E5E5"> in New York</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> is</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> extremely disturbing</font> <font color="#CCCCCC">and also partially is</font> <font color="#CCCCCC">the phobic people who are supportive of</font> <font color="#CCCCCC">Ilan</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> Omar are so rallying to support her</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">they believe that she</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> has been pretty</font> much<font color="#E5E5E5"> targeted because of her background</font> [Music]
