Pro-Palestine protesters interrupt graduation ceremonies at Duke, UNC

Well, this morning, a lot of folks still talking about Duke's graduation ceremony over the weekend and not for the reasons. You might think dozens of students and attendees walked out in the middle of the commencement ceremony just as guest speaker, Jerry Seinfeld was delivering his address. Seinfeld has been vocally supportive of Israel and visited the country following the October 7th attack. Despite the protests, the comedian eventually was able to deliver his speech uninterrupted again. A lot of you are thinking, I can't believe they invited this guy too late. I say use your privilege. I grew up a Jewish boy from New York. That is a privilege if you want to be a comedian. That was just one of several interruptions at graduations across the country in Chapel Hill. Protesters gathered for a pro Palestinian rally just hours before Un C's commencement. Some demonstrators even vandalized the university building with paint and shock despite a screen detailing the new security measures. This year, one protesters briefly ran through the ceremony
