[Music] please you don't necessarily have to reinvent yourself every time but since dilo was doing it zekka at least has to match it to win the battle did the trap trap [Music] yo what's up my currently tcp box and welcome back to another analysis video with your boy maddox aka a man of culture stop that today i'm going to watch the spx kickback beatbox battle final between zakka and as always before i go to analyze the video i'm going to check out the comment section first let's read some comments dilo 2017 semi-final he's probably talking about gbb 2018 final 2019 winner of gbb 2021 aspects kickback beatbox battle winner dilo has become too good maybe we need to take care of him no man of culture i remember generally every people angry because of the wildcat winners who's gonna explain that these eight beatboxers did an excellent event big up and thanks to swiss beatbox for this amazing event i mean just because the beatboxes did a great job doesn't mean that their wild card competition was fair i'm not trying to complain about the winners but that's not an explanation my boy my boy forget the man of culture what dilo introduced us to the circle of culture in his second round circle of what i feel like this is what dilo does every time he has hiccups [Music] man of good culture when you want a tic-tac-toe game with putting a last circle your opponent wow this is the dark i love that man of culture still recovering from 2nd [Music] man round culture the hard work of dilo shows off as he have improved so much and literally become invincible right now i think that you should make a special tribute video for the king who is you me hmm maybe 235 that's snare maddox should i watch it no no spoilers on snares but anyways man of culture 248 when you get told that man of culture means nothing who's saying this bro all those lies [ __ ] stole you got a second man of culture bbk should make a reaction channel i'm sad that we can't witness his reactions while everyone are performing out of this world i guess it's time to call the president [Applause] [Music] hmm no one there i try next time man of culture 320 when you spot a nice girl 324 when she's coming your way and looks at you man of culture okay here comes a beautiful message from tushar dwivety i hope i say it correct when maddox doesn't give us a man of culture the maddox please don't take this person no because remember when you finally get a man of culture respect bro thanks for the great message to char man of culture everyone literally everyone even mallocs when their friend is loud and dilo is performing yes girl pay some respect man of course 554 my stomach when i'm hungry awesome maddox what what [Music] let me analyze that let's get into the first round of dylo welcome to the finals of the sbx kickback battle 2021 today we have d-lo versus zekka first up is d-lo with 90 seconds on the clock i say the three and i say the two and the one in three two one beatbox [Music] all this hate is getting old it's a little funky when i start that's [Music] it it's a little funky when i bite my zip [Music] my lips [Music] uh [Music] it's a little techno drop out [Music] so that was the first round of dilo for me really outstanding was the structure and the flow in this round i also really love this special liberal base so let's take a closer look at the details [Music] so already the intro was pretty original there's not a lot of beatboxes who can do this bass especially with pitch control no that's a really dope intro already also really cool melody here then it went into the first verse and i also really like this base here [Music] i'm not sure what it is it kind of sounds like a vocal best but i don't think it's a vocal bass it's not chest based and there's a really unique texture so i'm not really sure if that's a vocal bass but yeah it's it's so dope dude it has so much resonance anyways really sick bass i never heard it of dilo before i think in some stories but not in rounds and then next to the base you had this lyrics and i really love it please don't take this person [Music] all this hate is getting old it's simple it's against the haters a really popular topic nowadays but it works and it feels really authentic and i think this is the most important thing when you sing or rap lyrics that it's authentic that people buy it it's a little funky when i start that's it it's a little funky you want to start to set yeah the transition lyric is also cool then he came in with the first beat and was a simple groove but the bass is so sick already [Music] yeah i was trying to learn this bass the last days it's kind of like a liberal but then he bites his slip and then he also combines it with a zipper yeah really cool bass i'm gonna continue practicing it what he was also adding are these crazy transitions that are really typical for dilo wow yeah it's so dope man especially with dilo you can feel the quality in the details dude but for me the most important thing in this beat is the flow it has so much drive you want to move with it you want to bounce to it it's really dope it's a little funky one about my zip that the next lyric report was really funny it's a little funky when i bite my zip so he basically is describing how he does the sound by biting the zipper sound thanks for the explanation dilo and here comes another crazy transition it sounds like a typical sucker punch transition but then he does liberals here i didn't quite get it [Music] yeah it's not it's not sucker punch wow that's so dope dude it's so clean also [Music] damn yeah crazy dude then after this party was slightly evolving the beat and that's pretty much what he does for the whole round it's not a typical pop structure he's pretty much evolving it all the time but it still works it doesn't get boring and he manages to switch in between energy levels so the next part was really cool i really like these sounds that he does here but i have to criticize the one transition that he did here he kind of lost timing there and then he got a little bit messy i'm not sure if he was going off beat on purpose but for me because of the sloppy beginning it didn't really work then in the next part he kept on evolving the beat with the scratches and that's really dope that's so dope man he feels the hip hop flow in this [Music] and for the last drop he did some high pitched lip rolls wow i can't go that high no chance i also like how he was bringing back a melody piece of the intro [Music] this is a good anchor for the audience to remember the main theme last but not least he had this little techno break a little techno drop out hmm and that was a really cool move not the highest complexity but he kept the groove he kept the flow and he added some colors to his composition i have to say it was a little scratched oh blame me for not being able to do it but i think this one was a bit unclean i heard it way better off him so yeah that was the first round of dilo overall really sick flow a lot of crazy variations there's countless beats i don't even remember how many drops he has here he didn't focus too much on high complexity in this round it was more about the flow a really sick structure but because of the nice transitions and the variations of sounds that he has here it still had a high complexity he did some little mistakes in the transitions in the middle and at the end at the techno drop it wasn't a hundred percent clean but everything else was really flawless so let's continue with zekka's first round round two zekka [Music] life for way too long we don't know if we're alive oh all those lies [ __ ] say the golden waste your time [Music] hmm [Music] [Music] me [Music] gotcha it's called style haters [Music] wow so that was the first round of zekka really sick flow amazing melodies he had a bit of timing problems and i'm not really sure about the main drop because he used this click roll sound already a lot in this competition so let's not waste any time and look into the details [Music] with a really nice melody and i love his voice it sounds so authentic he doesn't need to add a lot of effects to it it just sounds beautiful always catches me and then the snare what the heck is that something like this so dope dude then you start with the lyrical part and i'm not sure if i get it right days in life are way too long facing life away too long we don't know if we live we don't know if we're alive all these lies [ __ ] tall all these lies [ __ ] told say the girl and waste your time say they gonna waste your time say they're gonna waste the time okay something like that approximately his pronunciation is not perfect here but he creates a really cool move with these lyrics and i think being authentic with lyrics is more important than being 100 correct with the pronunciation but he can still work on it then he went into the first drop and wasn't too crazy the tongue oscillation base here hits really hard dude and also the melody in between with the scratches that's really dope it's a really flawless flow [Music] the only problem is that at one point he kind of loses flow he gets a bit too fast [Music] and this was throwing me off he kind of got back his flow after the transition but it felt a bit like that he was speeding from this point on maybe he got nervous or something [Music] but the sounds are really clean really powerful the melody is really on point really dope after that he went into a melodic transition part and i really love this because he creates so much tension with this one [Music] it really makes you want to hear more i'm not sure though about the punch line before the drop what he was referring to here gotcha was he referring to d law was he referring to the audience it's not really clear for me then he went into the drop and um i think i heard this click roll sound too often already in this competition yes it's his original sound but for me here it wasn't really hitting that hard anymore as it was hitting in the beginning of the competition [Music] it's a sick sound and it fits to the mood it's a good contrast to the beginning but yeah because i heard it so often already it didn't impress me that much then he was adding this little lyrical line it's called style haters in between it's called style haters and maybe he's referring to the people who would say bro you're using this click crossover too often who would say that then after this party added a really interesting transition [Music] sadly i'm not the biggest expert of technical beats something like this but he adds something to it that it really feels different it hits different and then what makes this transition really unique also his technical parts are always really clean after the short transition he went into his last job with this crazy whistle sound for me it wasn't hitting that hard but then as he introduced the lyrical part this is not real which is a reference to another routine that he has that was a really dope move after pretty much climaxing here he ended up with a short melody line from the beginning and this was really nice to round it up really dope so overall zekka showed a very nice composition here he had a good control of his dynamics over his energy in the first part he had timing problems and his main drop wasn't that impressing because he used a sound that we heard a lot already so compared to dealer i would say he's matching a dynamics level the melodies he created were a little bit more catchy but on the other hand dilo showed way more new stuff he was pretty much reinventing himself in this round so because of that i would say delos the winner of the first round let me analyze that let's move on to dlo's second round round three d-lo switch the respect goes both ways [Music] wow [Music] oh [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] [Music] um [Music] [Music] [Music] huh [Music] um [Music] is [Music] yo wow what a rebuttal dude like the whole round was a rebuttal holy crap so on the second round dilo was risking a lot by putting up the complexity level a ton at some points he was a little bit sloppy but in general it was insane dude so let's look at it wow this is the circle the circle of death damn the lyrics at the beginning leave so much space for interpretation circle of death sounds for me like the circle of like bringing back the rounds so like he's rebuttaling so that's probably the circle of death not sure if he means it like that yet along the sound of it and the mood that he creates with it really dope and then directly after that he was taking the melody of zekka and made his own version of it [Music] and what i mostly like about it was it wasn't just a cheap rebuttal like doing some stuff at the beginning but then switched her own routine the whole round was a rebuttal because this melody played a role through the whole round then he went into the first drop and again he used a sick inward base in combination with the liberal [Music] which i still can do by the way the last time when i said dilo's the first one who did this i need to apologize for this one a lot of people were telling me that piratiban was the first one but i still think ddos combination of inboard base and liberal sounds really special on top of this again he uses a sick inward base and this nice little snare i wonder if this one will work on live performances in the video totally works but i tried to snare already a few times and for a live sound system it doesn't have enough impact but for this case for this context it works 100. [Music] after the first part of the drop he added this crazy transition with the whistles that's again such an original sound it feels like for every battle round he has at least two new sounds after the short transition he was evolving the beat by adding a little outboard tongue bass roll here and then he was breaking the mood by playing this [Music] that's so much d-lo yo i think not every beatboxer could pull off such funny sounds but delo's really good in selling sounds like that and on top of that it's original aftershock posse was transitioning in the next part and what was this transition zone that was pretty sloppy bro also the way he came into the beat the transition was really sloppy i really like this little brake part though with where he draws the circle really original combo again and after this he starts with this insanity dude oh my gosh [Music] this transition is hitting really hard because it's so complex dude but at the same time clean also the way he was adding the melody so genius dude rebuttal monster yo i have to say though the end of the break part wasn't 100 clean then he was adding a little pause where he was coming closer to the camera and i really love this as a performance element there's not a lot of performance elements that you can add in a video competition like this but this one was really effective [Music] after the short break then comes the thing with the he goes just insane these combos yo i don't even wanna try to do it because i will embarrass myself anyways but it's so crazy dude [Music] and then after the short build up he came into the drop there's a little bit simpler first but he keeps going with the melody of zekka he's destroying him man that's a real circle of death [Music] at some parts he gets a little bit sloppy for example at the last melody line that he does before he does the grand final [Music] but it's not too bad he still manages to keep the energy and then before he comes to the last job he does a short pause and this creates so much tension so i wouldn't give him minus points for this it felt more like a performance element rather than just him needing to take a break and then yeah the last combo you can argue about if it sounds nice or not for me personally it's not the most pleasing sounds but the complexity of this part is insane and the way he's adding the lyrics of zekka in between that's the craziest rebuttal of the whole battle damn just smashed him [Music] so yeah overall dillo's second round again was really dynamic he was rebuttaling so many elements of zekka's first round and he showed a lot of new sounds and combos that i never saw before analyze that so let's get into zekka's second round round four zekka switch [Music] cool round that switch really i don't trust nobody cause they can't be fake frowning ain't interruption cause me soaking tension untied a vein tremble [ __ ] you feel no crazy [Music] yes [Music] oh break it down [Music] let me taste your thing [Music] oh oh time dope all right that was zekka's second round again sick dynamics sick flow this time no timing problems and he added some really nice rebuttals in here so for the last time of the sbx kickback beatbox battle analysis videos let's get into the details zekka straight away started to rebuttal the first beat of dilo [Music] he was coming really close to it but it wasn't the same energy his snares are bit sloppy here doesn't have the same impact so i would give him bonus points for the three button then he started with the first beat and had a really nice groove and also the sounds are really amazing i find the melody in here a bit random i can't really follow it there's no main theme inside but as this is just the intro beat i think it's fine and then he started with the lyrical part and here it's hard to understand the lyrics but i think he was choosing this mumble style on purpose it's not the best excuse for not working on a pronunciation but the mood he's creating here is really dope and it's really authentic i don't trust nobody cause they can't be fake frowning ain't interruption cause me soaking attention and tired of being crumbled [ __ ] you feel no clay then he was dropping it after the first lyrical part and here again i was missing like a catchy melody or a catchy sound it felt more like a combination of a lot of sick sounds but for me the beat is not really recognizable there's something missing that makes the beat recognizable after that he shortly went back to the lyrical part but was cutting it off with another drop and this one for me was a bit more recognizable it's a more repetitive one but it has a really cool flaw [Music] after this party was breaking it down with a more easier beat and here i felt like um that was a bit unnecessary compared to dilo he was already losing a bit of energy here get down before he went into the next drop he took a knife and was referring to the great shark that dido was mentioning hey your great shirt let me taste your thing that was a really fun move especially with the knife with the knife he was implying that he wants to cut off the fin of the great shark and to and just eat it after a short buildup he added another lyrical line and that was really dope too [Music] he was calling himself megalodon which is an extinct shark species and he was saying it with the inward base of dilo so that was the ultimate this there the only downside i see to this rebuttal is that he's not really rebuttaling something that dilo did in this battle but something dilo did in a previous battle against beers of course it would be way stronger if he actually would rebuttal delos round in this battle after the punchline he was getting into the first drop and this melody line damn that's so catchy dude the texture of it is so interesting and it's so rich in frequencies i also love how he's using dilo's signature sounds here especially the i don't know how the sound is called but it's a really special sound that d-lo uses a lot and now zeke uses against him really dope and to round this up he was rebuttaling dilo again at the end but again it's something that dilo didn't do in this particular battle [Music] it's a sick rebattle but it would be stronger if he would use something from this round but the way he was executing it was excellent dude he matched the power he matched the texture he matched the sounds really good really dope yeah so overall zekka was really flawless in the second round he was really dynamic i was missing some recognizable melodies in here and there was no super mind blowing drop like for example dilo did in the second round and this leads me to my conclusion the biggest difference between zekka's second round and dilo second round was that dilo had a really recognizable part at the end of his round whereas zakka didn't really reinvent himself you don't necessarily have to reinvent yourself every time but since dilo was doing it zekka at least has to match it to win the battle on top of that i found delos rebuttals way stronger because he was actually rebuttaling something that zekka did in this round whereas zekka was rebuttaling material of dilo that dilo didn't do in this battle but in a previous one so for me dilo most definitely won the second round too which means that for me dilo most definitely deserve to win the asbes kickback beatbox battle respect goes both ways man congrats to the champion really dope dilo i'm really impressed how you not only smashed everyone in the battle here but you also topped yourself everything that dilo showed here was completely new it didn't sound anything like the rounds that he did at gbb not a lot of beatboxers can switch their styles but still keep a really high execution level be dynamic etc so big props to dilo alright guys that's it for this video quick and easy if you enjoy my content please like the video subscribe to my channel and hit the notification bell that's it for
