pick the most valuable ice bracelet seed-pearls there's a molded piece that's supposed to look like a faceted piece there's some lapis lazuli and it is a costume jewelry piece from the 1940s 50s in very good condition it even has a safety chain so you don't lose it and value on this about $200 it's a nice piece so does that what always was okay maybe they just moved around a little and they can move okay all right that's what that was they're really quite nice so dates to about the 1980s or 90s value on this particular piece because you've got a lot of weight for the for the sterling silver and it is marked Mexican sterling silver that is the sterling mark for 925 right on it value on the belt today you probably could command anywhere between 300 and 350 dollars for it you got this as a yard sale this particular stone is set in Nice sterling silver the stone is a synthetic stone trying to look like an amethyst dates to the 1920s the sterling mark is inside the band it's 925 parts per thousand sterling silver the synthetic stone is worth about $50 and the silver setting dating from the 1940s 20s to the 40's is worth another hundred so you're at about a hundred and twenty five hundred and fifty dollars twenty-five cents is good you got a look at the marks I mean for for sellers you have to look at the marks before you take 25 cents for a piece of sterling simple Caleb Caleb this stone is moving you can hear it moving so you have a stone it's set it's faceted you hear it next to your ear shake it near your ear if you hear it moving you will lose it that prong will give way and you will lose it okay how did you acquire this which is called a Verner Ruby which is a synthetic piece trying to look like a ruby set in 10 karat gold from about 1925 to 1950 had you acquire it garage sale four years ago it's still 10 karat gold which is worth about $75 for the gold the stone is worth another 50 it's gonna get lost it's gonna get lost so shake it near your ear and then you'll know whether or not you can hold on to that particular piece subbu how did you acquire this piece you bought it I'm sorry from eBay beautiful so you have this piece and it is a piece of nephrite or white jade very nice celadon color and it is rose gold here at the class it is a multiple class that's very large and is very strong and it has seed-pearls all the way through this piece dates anytime between 1900 and 1925 and value on this piece is about 275 to 300 dollars I'd say 300 dollars for its intact and it's very well documented as a pretty piece and now how much did you pay on eBay $80 8-0 for one that's worth 300 I'd say that's a bargain right that's a very nice piece and marked for the gold inside did it come in this box okay the box is nice because the box will hold the piece still and it keeps it away from other pieces you do not want anything that can scratch J doesn't scratch easily so that's okay but the beads can actually scratch very easily so thank you very much that's a nice piece as well with the five with Mickey here Mickey Mouse the yellow hands there's white hands with gloves there's orange hands they change throughout the years this one also has Mickey Mouse on of course the sweep second hand and it says Mickey Mouse and Ingersoll the Ingersoll watch company and Walt Disney came together to market to kids like Thai beanie babies they market to kids so kids are gonna get excited about this the pocket watch style is unusual usually you have the wrist one he was excited when he got it yeah so this particular one is in good shape does it open have you had it opened okay it should open to reveal how accurate but it's not going to be that accurate because it's a child intended for of course a child's play if you will it's a beautiful piece it's in good condition and typically these pieces will date to the early decades of the 20th century and value on and about $400 very nice enjoy in the early 1900s Vickie there were a lot of pieces that were highlighted and most of them were garnets garnets are a very very dark stone that's what you have and garnets were very popular you have a naturally developing garnet so when you think about costume jewelry those are usually synthetic stones this particular stone is in fact a naturally developed garnet from the early years of the 20th century how did you acquire it it's very nice this particular piece is yellow gold with a little bit of copper called rose gold the copper content which usually is there to highlight the red color of the garnet if you're a January birthstone that's your birthstone the January birthday that's your birthstone value on this ring just about $300 and that how did you acquire the diamonds because diamonds are a girl's best friend belong to your mom do you wear it fits me fit you too right alright it is 14 karat yellow gold and you have whatever you have a large central diamond and then graduated diamonds in that fruit in that middle band and then you have one quarter of a carat diamonds one two three four five you'd like six total carat weight of diamonds here so six carat total carat weight plus another $500 for the setting and I would probably put this ring somewhere around $3,000 do you wear it you can put it right here on my pinky next to my new garnets it's not bad right you know that's a nice ring that's a nice ring we'll put these right here thank you my pleasure and then I've got a pocket watch a Howard pocket watch with blue steel handles blue steel handles blue steel hands who is ABC my grandpa really that's good those are good initials right every little kid would know those how did you acquire this my grandpa you're the youngest child you're the youngest child and you got the pocket watch what deal did you make the youngest children never get anything what deal did you make that's nice that's a nice watch it's a 14 karat yellow gold case it's moves that value up up up right yellow gold it is 15 jewels which indicates it's relatively accurate it's a porcelain face blue steel hands early 20th century value on it about three hundred and fifty dollars it's a nice watch pocket you ever use it no okay hangs in a in a watch dome so like this glass on the Bott there's a little hook you can hook it once every six months will you open up the dome let some of the heat escape once every six months hi Tom oh my gosh I'm hearing lambs do I hear lambs that's a goat it's not a lamb it's a good thing I'm not a praising livestock cuz I can't tell a goat from a lamb all right hi Tom Tom you know what this is this is a little image this is a little pendant okay with an image of a very very famous Raphael painting the little there are two little pootie little angels at the bottom of this big painting and they're just sitting there like this and you see them on photon ties and bugs and socks you know and he's right here two on this little tiny pendant and this particular pendant is mimicking that image and this pendant is marked fine silver 999 fine silver what does that mean it's better than sterling silver which is nine to five it's almost 1,000 it's 999 of 1,000th of a pure silver how'd you acquire it my wife passed away a bunch of oh I'm sorry this particular piece oh this piece of jewelry you knew it was fine sterling silver better than sterling silver really he said well I better get it appraised worth about two hundred and fifty dollars to talk a little bit about when this kind of stuff happens right so you had this terrible tragedy and there's a lot of jewelry I want you to look for marks they're marked on the website they're marked on the YouTube channel nine to five five eight five seven five oh 14k 18k those marks are listed and though on my website and other places so you can identify what's valuable so you can go through and look and if you don't have any idea you can send pictures to me don't just go to one place a jeweler or a dealer or somebody just go okay I want it all gone okay individually because they can be worth a lot they are rarely worth as much if you in fact melt it down cuz you lose the design weight you just lose all of the design or decorative elements of the jewelry okay Marlene high on how are you a select time court watch with turquoise silver inset Japanese movement how'd you choir it your husband gave it to you as a gift it's a nice gift the watch has a nice Southwestern feel right the movement is not very high quality made in Japan that doesn't mean all Japanese movements are a pork of low quality but your select time one is value on the watch as a timepiece about $30 value on the band about 30 more I'd say 60 dollars for the two pieces thank you for bringing that in the manufacturing company these are big clip-ons I bet you do they are seriously big clip-ons like no faces there's no face it's not a ghost nothing's happening it's just swirls it's good where I'm in good health they're all right there gold-tone their costume jewelry costume jewelry the most overlooked item you're gonna find costume jewelry high values everybody thinks it's junk you have a mark on it like that v mark on the V manufacturing company right here underneath where your earlobe would go right here I want you to look when you're looking at costume jewelry you're in that thrift store I want you to take out that loop I want you to look through the whole thing stand there for 20 minutes I don't care look at it try to find it because most of them are marked once you find that mark go to that website go to the YouTube channel I list them all why score Oh Sarah Coventry Mon a not be a you know name it tref re all of them these are $35 for the pair they date to about the 1960s for the pair they're gold-tone they're not real gold they're not they're not bold overlay there and they are of course the very typical 1960s clip-ons I don't know why no one to pierce their earring their ears but they do swiss-made movement hi hon how you doing how about this do you smoke near this like cigarette smoking yeah don't smoke near this this is French ivory which is very flammable like really flammable like last week in Seattle and I was at the Seattle Home Show I had to go down 29 floors because we were evacuated because of fire flammable okay it was not fun bad but then you get to the front desk and everybody's like you know checking people in and everything's fine and you're like woah the alarms going off they're very laid back out there you know I don't know when you hear a fire drill don't you go you hear the alarm you get out right oh oh it's good you know the drinking Starbucks you know how this is Seattle the diamonds and the sapphires are real yep the case is sterling silver with gold overlay or Vermeil is what it's called and you've got a rose gold in this part a rose gold banned nice flammable three bucks right a swiss-made movement woman's watch seven joules which means it's not that accurate but where does a woman in the 1920s have to get to right other than to get her hair cut or to get one of those drop waist dresses flappers value on this watch I'd say 150 bucks
