Prices of Buying Goods at McMurdo Station - Antarctica

[Music] how's it going everyone all right so I'm doing this video on the store prices and how much the stuff is here you guys asked for it everybody's wondering hey how much is this and how much does that I never really explained how much everything was so I'm gonna be doing that in this short video I'm trying to explain about five minutes of items so I'm not gonna do everything I'm just gonna do the main so that you'd probably most likely get we're gonna start with a tobacco though cigarettes everything five dollars four dollars a can four dollars for that and they have school wintergreen and they have Copenhagen Copenhagen snuff and most important one stuff all dark wine sorry dark wine here these three $30 box and these are either 30 or 25 a box here alcohol almost all of it is the same almost most of its 16 per bottle most of the almost all of the ones this is 41 maker's mark this is 45 I believe Glenmorangie and Glen Levites also like 45 or 41 and then everything else is pretty much 16 to 20 dollars for a bottle grumpy believe that $6 $6 a bottle just cider and he got six packs and you know 24 packs and twelve packs basically for a 12 pack it is for any beer it's $16 so for any six pack it's gonna be $8 so you have all these brands and drinks full pack of any of this soda yet soda club soda sprite yeah any type of soda you want and you got ya club soda diet coke coke whatever any any 12-pack it's gonna be six dollars and then you can buy individual so let's say you want to buy one we might as well just buy two so because it just it be one dollar and like I said Red Bull this goes by a limit to per day and then that is two dollars a piece so those are the smaller Red Bulls uh twelve ounces guess what shirts whatever guess what shirts hoodies whatever let's see I think just one or is it that one of these these range from 55 to 80 so any of these nice are bigger sweatshirts 55 to 80 dollars hats average hat price twenty twelve to twenty five dollars for a hat then you got t-shirts t-shirts these are all ranging from 15 2015 15 so anywhere from 20 to 15 dollars this one's 14 beach towels $28 regular towel is nine dollars washcloth is four dollars right here clock here digital clock $13 a cheaper clock eight dollars and a bigger clock for 20 bucks let's see stuff too so stuff too trying to get rid of it's like four and five dollar t-shirts souvenirs stickers individual stickers three dollars there's a penguin packet you got penguin packet for four dollars so three dollar stickers one dollar magnets five dollar us ap logo stuff golf ball golf set little off a us a piece a little trick trinkets and souvenirs $5 to $10 pens three dollars so just all it depends what you want hygiene anywhere from three to ten dollars so pretty fair range soap four dollars etc toothpastes five dollars for a stick Listerine down here it's nine dollars for the big one they don't have the small one out I have a small version of that I also got cups and stuff over here sixteen dollars for this nineteen for this nicer one 26 for this big one these wineglasses here eight dollars eight dollars for these as well skittles and candy all this stuff right here in this aisle this area one dollar piece one dollar for a pack of Skittles one dollar four pack of gum doesn't matter and then you have like some basic over-the-counter meds $6 to $12 for the meds ibuprofen pepto-bismol acid alka-seltzer $4 for new york-style pita chips Ritz crackers seven dollars five dollars there that crackers right here seven dollars Tim Tams four dollars Chips Ahoy cookies or Oreo cookie pack six bucks little beef jerky four dollars Pringles three dollars so it's all pretty fair to tell us for postcards all these postcards over here are $1 apiece $1 apiece unless there's a special edition one there's some cool and our Antarctic postcards here last family covers they have some penguins and stuffed animals $16 for this penguin at era bus yeah Terry bus $12 $12 for the Delta got a seal down here 20 bucks $12 for this penguin anything else I want to cover they have baby clothes too and we're from newborn to four years old and that's pretty fair in seven to twelve dollars oh yeah one terabyte hard drives sixty six sixty three dollars sunglasses if you need those six bucks little pins and stuff that's six dollars two dollars so it's pretty fair price got two hair brushes six bucks five bucks everything is pretty fair priced here what else we got we got otter pops these are out of pops they're three for a dollar these are kind of expensive everything's not gonna be the same so that's that one more thing I'll show you guys in the store the video section so they have videos basically there's those rentals it's like a rental section so you come here and you can rent you go take a bit whatever video you want bring it up to this register over here and then the volunteers person that works here um shows you our sign checks you out for the movie and
