PowerShell | Get-Eventlog

the topic of today's discussion is commanded the tablecloth so what is a good diamond that diamon clock basically will give me the details of all the events whether they are errors information messages and warnings everything whenever a program starts on your system it sends a log to the event to the evil you can say it makes a log of whether program is running okay or it is some error or anything like that so the window simple we will shows a lot of applications and system messages including errors information messages and warning basically this is used for troubleshooting of different windows program so this is just a small introduction about Windows Event log and you can see these logs enable people yes you can see it now see the logs of applications security system forwarded events everything now what if you want to see these bring everything of this in and non Windows PowerShell or by using with Distortion so the command is for this is get event now after doing this you have to give the name of the window log means whether it is application log or security log or what application are there here you can refer these things whatever is mentioned here it will be displayed here okay you can see speaker circle for now I will be taking out or discussing the system logs okay so as you will type and see the system of interest it has thousands of logs which we can it has a lot of information which we don't need now so in order to just get few details you can move this option for example I want to get only 10 logs latest and also on I can use this newest and 10 this will give me this okay if you want only if you want log by instanceid or by computer name you can get instance already suppose I want log OCH society is ten thousand we're still giving it society a log sockets ready at ten thousand okay suppose if I want to get logs by entry type supposed entry type is and coordination I think not ok till it has many things so I won't only doublet or latest ten so it is giving me a distance what if I want by I ate it by index number if I want it by index number can also I will get it index to suppose seven seven eight okay so if we give me the ID the log with the index tidiness you can also get this log by date or by time by using after before you can see optical attribute okay so this is just a small thing I will discuss more about these things in my next video with a limitation of liability so I hope you would you will find this thing or this video useful and if you really do like this video then please a view share and subscribe to my channel ok thank you for encouraging me and please place the bell icon so that you will receive the notification whenever I build up a new video and definitely I will upload a new video on getting people clock because this is a very big topic so I will be discussing more of this on in my next video alright thank you thank you so much
