Postfix Mail Server Configuration on RHEL8 - Anand K

hello in this module i will be describing about how you can calculate postfix mail server on relate linux okay first let me quickly go ahead with installing the packages young server needs to be configured you can say you have installed postfix and also please install this joe cart and my links okay say these are the relevant packages which are useful for getting this installed okay systems okay the most important file for configuring is to go to postfix directory you see that there is a file called as main.cf so yeah just go down the first one is uh should be somewhere in line okay yeah configure your hostname to know this hosting this is a server b so just disable it i mean hash remove this hash and write this server i think a server here is at the title you can see somewhere so if you are using domain you can make it separate you can go through this my domain equal to if you want i have written it okay then go ahead with 135 you see this is interfaces just select this localhost comma add this one [Music] so move on my destination is there you can say dollar my host name local host okay unhash this one so as of now there is no change here my destination is proper for sending this to go down which will go down i think these are all good okay and i think we need to discuss this yeah mail directory okay define this one unhatch uncomment this okay so bring down that's all i'm saving this file and also uh enable the protocol protocols [Music] [Music] so already we have enabled the service now i'll create users user add user one user add user to okay so i'll try to send mails in between these two so su i'll try to send a mail okay user 2 at the rate off server [Music] the mail has been sent to user 2. okay we can exit this and we can try mail queue so whether all the mails no mails are there so i'm logging once again too as you so the males are stored here here you can see current new and text go to [Music] if you want to send me if you want to send me from here messages from user two okay done microsoft outlook etc you can even see the mail or part 3 account in this way the mail server works thank you
