Do I have to fight you? Both songs are great, so are the (sadly only two) games. But I personally prefer 'Still Alive' because I really like the "original" GLaDOS voice from the first game and the guitar playing in the background.
I really like the third one, "You Wouldn't Know".
Round 1 fight!
I propose a buffer. Jonathan Coulton is an amazing artist. Fight!
Cant fight wont fight both are amazing.
"Want You Gone" is a derivative self-parody of "Still Alive". Unlike Portal 2, which was objectively better than 1 as a game, "Want You Gone" only exists because "Still Alive" was so beloved. Still Alive has better lyrics, was wholly original, unexpected, and catchier. "Want You Gone" can't exist without Still Alive and instead of coming across as greater, it comes across as something that isn't self-aware of what it is. It's essentially the light-saber wielding neckbeard of songs. It thinks it's cool because someone way cooler did it first and made it look easy.
