Ponant Le Champlain | Grand Deluxe Suite Tour

[Music] greetings everyone this is Danny from heart travel comm and I'm currently on ponents beautiful Lake Champlain and I'm in one of the Grand Deluxe Suites on the back of the ship and it's spectacular check it out let me show you I'm talking about so as soon as you come in here you can tell that this is the perfect perfect room to host guests or to have an extra person there's not that many rooms that actually can accommodate more than two on this ship and this happens to be one of those so you've got your beautiful set up in here as you would expect with the champagne ready upon arrival with the fresh fruit plate as well you've got the soft couch you got seating here but you can also bring more in from the master bedroom as well and then right here you've got your TV which of course she's pull and you can turn as you need so if you wanted to watch it from the outdoors you could see that from there and then here you've got your phone and actually does quite a few things in there alarm things along those lines and then right here you've got your setup with everything that you're going to need to know about the spa boutique and then also all of your everything you're going to need on the ship the ship directory okay so come on in here I did want to show that this this does have a sliding door here so it provides good separation especially if there's somebody else staying in this room like a child okay and as you come on in here you can see that you have a full king-size bed and what's really epic is from the bed you just have the most incredible views looking out the back of the ship so let me point out a couple things so the first one is really kind of cool you press this button here and the TV actually comes out of the ceiling and the reason they do that is so that it doesn't block your view of the ocean so look down there just press the button comes down and then whenever it is that you're done with it you just press the button set it right back up and then you get those unbelievable and incredible views back all right let me take you over to the other side of the the bed real quick here once again unbelievable and incredible views out every angle I did want to point out they have this Bose speaker also we've done is a sound machine but of course Bose is top quality it's fantastic you've got your euro plug here and you also have a USB plug so if you want to utilize one or the other you can use it just this way there we go plug that back in you have a reading light here that you can turn on and off and then a little bit of storage here for the nightstand as well I did want to point out that if you want to make the bed a little bit harder or softer to speak with your Butler about that they also have a pillow menu that goes along with with these really fantastic ones here right so I'm going to come on around I'm going to take you into the master bathroom here so the first thing you'll notice is it's got a separate toilet room I personally really like that especially you know two people are getting ready you have a separate space which is great and then also you have a large double vanity with backlit mirrors upgraded or maze bath amenities that are that are really really nice I've enjoyed them on my cruise ok some storage under here that opens up okay a little more storage same on the other side I love this one of my pet peeves in a in a bathroom on especially in a cruise ship or hotel is when you can't put things away when they're always sitting out so I really like the ability to tuck them underneath or put them in the drawers you also have your plug here so if you need to you know shaver or something along those lines you can use it for that and then of course the magnifying mirror we go into here and I will show you the shower okay so one nice thing is I'm six six and I can actually fit in the shower it's got a little bit more room than then the the rooms on the lower decks actually so you've got your shower here and then of course this massive really really beautiful bathtub that has the best view in the world so one little difference from the owner's suite just doesn't have the TV in here there's some minor details but this is a really amazing room and then you've got the jacuzzi bathtub as well so I'm gonna follow me out into the walk-in closet and what you'll see is you've got these beautiful ultra plush robes you've got your slippers as well you got room to hang items here and then also more storage up above just here you've got storage on three levels here you've got your drawers okay and even more storage underneath did want to point out you got your hair dryer spur off ski optic binoculars so this ship is meant to go everywhere in the world and so it's great to have those you don't have to pack them and they're really really good quality then you've got this safe that's big enough for a laptop and one great thing that I would like to point out is there's a plug in the safe so if you're using this room to get ready which you actually can do as you shut this door you've got a great full-size full-length mirror here so you got a couple wick places to get ready okay but you can also use it for the hairdryer if you like which comes standard in all the rooms onboard so follow me on out we're right back into the living room and so once again if you have somebody staying in this room or if you just want extra storage this is great for it you've got more hanging storage here okay you've got your full minibar set up so you've got your an espresso maker the espresso on demand just ask them if you want to get a few more now you've got your water bottles and then down here you actually have a fully stocked mini fridge as well and another fantastic feature is this second bathroom right here so you've got a second one in here and one thing that I really like is that it's got a sink so if you do have friends or guests or family that come over they can come in here they can utilize the living room the bathroom here and never come into your personal space your bathroom your master bedroom alright so now we're heading out to the balcony so once again this is an absolutely huge space you've got two oversized when I say oversized these are a double as wide as you're gonna find on most cruise ships nice soft and plush if you want extra towels anything like that they'll get them out here for you one difference between the owners suite and this room is that the owners suite does have a jacuzzi this one does not so something want to keep in mind if that's a priority for you but they both wrap around just the same you've got more seating here beautiful seating and then you've got some more seating as well and then to me this is the ultimate place to have a nice cup of coffee in the morning so you reach out to your Butler you request the coffee or you just make your own distress so that's what I have every day at home anyways sit here and look out the back and have unbelievable views this ship is meant to go absolutely everywhere in the world and so by having you know a room like this in some exotic location you're getting that ultimate experience you're also not leaving a footprint because these are some of the cleanest ships on the ocean so when you're ready to book this incredible suite any suite onboard saponin or
