and then hopefully he's gonna buy some sneakers for show let's go [Music] polo you seem kind of like a classic guy when you're not in high fashion sneakers jordan threes and jordan fours are those some of your favorites i like the 11's i like concourse they're my favorite i like the fours too though okay i like 13s i like i like it i like all of them like pretty much everything i've been on with jordan once heavier though okay you always said in interviews that like providing for your family was a big priority i saw you in the documentary with tremani matching jordan threes yeah so how much are you shopping for him when you're shopping for you as well uh now as recently you know got to be my little twin so yeah i'll just try to match up what i got going on with him absolutely i saw also like off-white fours very rare sneaker how are you getting sneakers are you shopping all the time or what i usually have a plug in a city that i stop in so if i go to the a i gotta shoot plugged uh okay if i come from back here and cali i gotta shoot plug here i go to chicago i got a shoe plug all right so that's smart they know you're coming and they show up to the hotel or your house yeah for sure awesome another thing is you are from chicago but you said that you resonated with kobe bryant maybe he was like still playing you know you're a younger guy even though jordan's from chicago kobe really resonated with you what was it about him that you really admired mama mentality um just how your dog on a basketball court fearless feminine he was out michael jordan that's why i came up watching yeah and then in chicago coming up did you hear about michael jordan a lot going back did you see how cool he made sneakers look oh definitely mike still today people gonna be standing in a line before the store's open trying to get them shoes he still played a big part in the sneaker wearing in chicago you started rapping at an early age like eight or nine i even saw some clips of you just spitting and i know that you said like even in the cafeteria your boys always knew that you could rap and they would try to encourage you were you like always the center of attention in high school or more low-key i was more low-key in high school especially to my later tours my later years because i was just ready to get out of school okay but um as far as like you feel me swag i always have that you're born with that [Music] i was watching an interview you said the bank of america always gives you trouble because the card they always call up so that's why you bring cash a lot for sure what was the biggest cash out you ever had for a sneaker purchase whether it was in a store or a plug probably around ten thousand dollars that's me shopping period whether i'm shopping for clothes i say i'm never going over 15. so okay with shoes i never went over 10 000. and what was in that like assortment of shoes that you bought jordans but i got some like designer shoes on the side of that like some louie shoes or some of that something like that you're wearing louis vuitton sneakers what other high fashion brands you circle through everyone i try to really have a nice variety uh you feel me just different shoes i go and get a shoe that nobody else really rocked just to put a different type of outfit together in the easy section big easy guy or or what no i'll definitely rock with easy you know me being from chicago yep shy town kanye so i'll definitely rock with the easies and then seeing him he goes to nike and he obviously has so much influence but now adidas makes him a billionaire how crazy is it for you a young artist on the rise to see like a rapper become a billionaire off sneakers i mean it's definitely uh something that you marvel at something that you take notes from because i definitely um want to step into the fashion lane one day you hoop a lot you still hoop yeah i still play basketball i'm still a dog i probably still could go to the league you know okay and what shoes are you playing in do you have like do you like giannis do you like lebron or what i like kyrie's okay kyrie's comfortable yeah and the album the goat one thing i like is that you said like tiger woods lebron james that mentality where did it come from it's something that actually really grew on me the more that i was involved in hip-hop and the more that i like felt like i was becoming great at what i do i just developed a mentality that i want to stay great and i want to be great and i want to leave leave a legacy you're young did you have older people in the neighborhood that you looked up to style-wise where did it come from my neighborhood like they got a different type of style like that chicago with that chicago flair so the guys that had a lot of money or that was up they always wore margellas and they always wore a certain style of cans of sweaters and stuff like that so i knew when i got money that those would be the first things i want to go and grab one thing i like is you moved to calabasas i saw a recent instagram all the way dripped down in amiri how are you tapping into those brands i actually just recently went to the mary store oh just opened up one on rodale but normally i have a lady that i'm plugged in with and socks she had poured some clothes for me you said you wanted to get into fashion if a sneaker brand approached you do you have any favorites that you would love to work with i think jordan definitely because i wear it so much but other than that adidas so you'd be open to either yeah and what jordan would you like to design if you had your chance the twelves okay you like the 12s a lot what what's it about the 12s it's a mid-top sneaker right yeah sneaker oh no it gave me a like a mixture of a boot feel like a gym shoe feel at the same time another thing is how organized is the shoe collection at home do you know exactly what you have where you have so many that you can't keep track i got a lot but um like when i was moving out my old career i lost a lot of shoes okay so i'm really trying to play catch-up now all right so what when you moved from chicago to to canada when i moved from one of my cribs in calabasas to my other career okay they uh i had the cleaners they threw away most of my shoes damn so you got to go back and replenish is there one sneaker that has escaped you that you really want man it'd be older shoes like um i was just recently talking about the uh johnny kilroy as you remember though yeah yeah yeah yeah that was a shoe i always wish i could have got as a little kid okay so maybe you go back you find them sneaker plug in one of the cities yeah well talked about everything now's the easy part browse the shelves see what you're gonna take home right [Music] all
