Pokemon Not Native to Their Region

today I'm going to go over every Pokemon that isn't native to their own region starting with Generation 1 Pokemon and Kanto and in with generation 9 Pokemon and paldea let's do this all right let's start with the Kanto starter Pokemon and these Pokemon were never seen in the kanta region prior to the let's go games so here's a fun Theory where they might be from on the back of the original Pokemon Snap box it says that Professor Oak needs your help he is asking to capture the wild Pokemon of Pokemon Island on film tour the island in your zero one vehicle and snap pictures of Pokemon in their natural habitat and the key word here is natural habitat since Bulbasaur Charmander Squirtle all appear on this island Professor Oak even states in the original games of the star Pokemon where his last Pokemon from his travels and since Professor Rogue is the main character in Pokemon snap on an island of Pokemon and their natural habitat it is very possible that he caught these Pokemon in his final years of his studies and this is where the Kindle starter Pokemon are from cleffa Clefairy and clefable are all Native to the Moon because it was explicitly stated in the anime that Clefairy came from the Moon and is even seen piloting an alien spacecraft not to mention that they evolve and this round moonstones and can be found on Mount moon in the games so it's pretty clear speaking on the moon the Jigglypuff flying can be native to the Moon as well because Oswald's device in the anime episode called fairy tales indicated that Jigglypuff was an alien and the evidence that support that is the fact that Jigglypuff commonly appeared near meter impact science in the games like Route 3 before Mount moon or at 115 before Meteor Falls however the evidence isn't Rock Solid because all those defies did indicate that Misty was an alien as well but come to think of it Misty is your Mount moon in the games too so what if she is an alien the SQ line is most certainly native to the alola region specifically from the executor Island and I say this with confidence because in the original games skq could only be found in the Safari Zone which in theory is a Pokemon preserved for rare Pokemon all across the world are imported in and in Lone executors Dax entries it is stated that locals believe that this is how executor should look and that his image is carved into Circle buildings and rurals proving that it's been around for quite a long time so technically the cottonian executor is original form and since it has less access to sunlight it is a shorter neck and while over on the topic kangaskhan's Scyther pincer and Tauros are all likely to be native to other regions as well since they're all exclusive to the Safari Zone and even though Kangaskhan became uncounterable in in South America and Australia oh and there's also the fact that Kangaskhan can only be found Australia and Pokemon go as well so there's a lot of evidence for that and as for Scyther Pitzer and Tauros it is likely that they're all Native to the Johto region since both Scyther and pitcher can be found in the national park and turtles can be found on Route 38 and 39 which happens to be right next to a local cattle farm the hitmonline are likely made to The Gather region and I know it's a stretch but hear me out Galler is the only region where the entire Evolution line can be found in the wild and every other game beforehand they were only available via gifs evolving or Pokey radar and in the anime Lance says that his outfit was inspired by the hammerlock gym uniform So based on that we know that ketones have visited Galler so it is entirely possible that the fighting Dojo Master Kio went over to the gala region it caught a bunch of tyros while training with B if they returned the Kyoto and gave his buddy Bruno a few tyrogues along with the player at the fighting dojo and I'm out mortar I wouldn't be surprised if he has a full box of them which is why he gives so many away if both their pre Evolutions can be found in an odd egg in Pokemon Crystal hey come on Reflection cave is like the perfect place for mime Jr and misremind to be from not to mention that Mr mime is exclusive to Europe and Pokemon go Lapras is most certainly native to the Johto region it ain't quite possibly to the region that is a counterpart to the orange archipelago which would either be the sevi islands or alola and I say that Lapras is a native decanto because his only obtainable via gift in the original games and one of the only trainers that own a Lapras is Lorelei and Lorelei happens to live on four islands in the sevi islands so it's quite possible that lowlight caught her Lapras when it was migrating because in the anime it is explained that Lapras migrate between the orange islands and jota once a year and then you have to also keep in mind that laps can be found nationally in Union Cave and Johto every Wednesday so as well certainly not native to Kanto Eevee is most likely dated to the Unova region because of until Black and White 2 it was only obtainable as a gift or as a game quarter prize but then in Unova it finally became incarnable with a 5 encounter rate to region the Snorlax line is most likely native to the center region as well because in this Pocus information a fire in a leaf green it is said to live in mountainous areas and what do you know suno happens to be a pretty mountainous region and that while much lessons can be found through honey trees and to stay at the obvious story lights is definitely not native to Kanto since there are only two of them the Dratini line is most certainly native to the Johto region most likely from the Dragon's Den and Dragonite even has a dice history that stays that somewhere in the ocean lies an island where these gather only they live there so along with Johto they are also knitted to this random Island and lastly for the duration 1 Pokemon we have Mew and Mew is up in the air it can be native to an unknown region in South America as stand as Pokemon Stadium Destiny tree or it can be native to far away Island but what I think is the most likely answer is that Mew is native to planet Earth and quite possibly other planets Across the Universe because viewers said to be the ancestor of all Pokemon so it's quite literally native to everywhere foreign moving on to generation 2 let's start with the starter Pokemon and surprisingly these Pokemon are likely made to the alola region because this is the only region in any game that they can be found in the wild in and it seems to be a recurring theme that starter Pokemon our Pokemon professors find on their travels so it could be possible that Professor L visited the alola region and caught this Pokemon for his studies and as for cynical Legends Arceus it was stated to be the same thing professor lavatan says that he caught the Pokemon during his travels across the world so maybe he visited alola as well the tokabi line are 100 native to the Hoenn region because in the anime episode a tokobi mirage tokobi Paradise is shown and stated to be the birthplace of all the world's Togepi and that they're inserted in different regions to make the world a happier place oh and Professor Elm even states that tokobi can be found anywhere in the Johto region verbatimly so there's further proof the remarray line are definited to the Kyoto region simply because almost started to destitute that says that it's a distant ancestor to artillery it says the Helix Fossil can be found on Mount moon in the Kanto region while Chile has to be from the kid's region as well the Mercury talking about and Hound our lines are all Native to the Kanto region simply because of Pokemon Gold and Silver they can only be found in routes in Kanto and this stays true in the remix they are only found in the wild Encanto while mercuro and Hound diary found the Johto Safari Zone which backs up the theory that the Safari Zone is a place where rare non-native Pokemon are kept next up we have a known and it is unknown where a known is native to but what we do know is that it's an extraditional Pokemon some are linked to Arceus so his origin could be the universe itself when it was created and lastly for generation 2 we have Porygon 2 and if you didn't know is pre-evolution Porygon was created on Cinema Island just like with me too and ditto so Porygon 2 is native decanto especially since the upgrade can only be obtained from the silk company and saffron as well thank you all right generation three and the homeless starter Pokemon are tricky because in the game they only appear in alola while in the anime they do appear in the wild so it was up to interpretation whether you consider the anime as a valid source or not for me personally I think you'd be valve for certain things like Clefairy being from the moon but obviously the anime is biased because every Pokemon is going to appear somewhere in their own region since it's what the fans want so I'll leave it up to y'all in the comments what y'all think is most accurate let me know next we have these is a good line and simply put it shall Destiny stay set is this a goon that adapted to Regions outside gather acquired this appearance if you've lost something this Pokemon can likely find it so this essentially means that the gallerians is a goon is a native Zoo Lagoon while the winning Isuzu goon is a regional form which is pretty funny to think about because that means opsecoon is a more authentic Evolution than a winning linoon which is just silly The Meta tight line might be native to the cinema region and I know you can find meta tight in the Hoenn region in the games but this is a pretty cool Theory you see in heart gold and Soul Silver meditite and meditation can be found in the Wild by playing the cinema sound with the Poke gear radio rather than the Hoenn Sound so this could imply that they're native to the center region and not Hoenn but again this is only a theory the corefish lion is as straightforward as it gets they are most certainly not native to the Hoenn region instead to an unknown region that we don't know of because his very first Destiny states that korfist was originally formed Pokemon that was imported as pets so that confirms that korphism was originally native to a different region outside of hohen Lunatone and soul Rock and as well as Deoxys are all Native from outer space since they all have several Destinies to state that they came from outer space and from a falling meteor and with Deoxys you literally see it arriving to Earth on a meteor in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire so this is undoubtedly true the Beldum line is not added to the Hoenn region because it's only accessible through a gift from Steven yes one of the most recognizable Hoenn Pokemon isn't even from the Hoenn region and this stays true in the remix as well and as to where they're from I'm gonna go out on a limb and say they're native to the little region on Mount hakalani so this is also an area where meteor can be found and I bring up meteor because meaning just seems like a Pokemon that Steven Stone would be intro president because he is called Stephen Stone and he specializes in rock and Steel type Pokemon but I could just be making up things here Rayquaza could be native to the ozone layer since it does have multiple deaths issues that state that it lives up there but that is also up for interpretation if you count the ozone layer above the Hoenn region as a different region so this one is unclear and finally we have Jirachi and Karachi doesn't lead to a native region is the or region because the pre-order for Pokemon Colosseum came with a bonus disc that distributed adrachi to your Ruby and Sapphire game so drashi does kind of come from The Ore region via bonus disc and the origin is called the origin for a reason I'm going to assume maybe because a lot of minerals are found in this area and draw she is a Steel type Pokemon so that could be another connection all right Generation 4 and no sort of Pokemon this time around because Legends Arceus made it pretty clear where a lot of Pokemon come from so instead we have the shuttle slime we are probably native to the Kanto region and I think this because shells and gastrodon both have destitutions that confirm that they're closer related to shoulder and Cloister and that they color in shapes vary by region referencing the cinema versions as two different types so what I think is most likely that shells was originally from the Kyoto region while still at a Shell living by his close cousin's shoulder and then it migrated across the world losing his shell and appearing in different colors so if you ever see a new Kanto game where it introduces Regional forms I wouldn't be surprised if we see shells and gastronaut with shells since it's likely that they're from there the gimbal line is definitely not native to Sinnoh because it has a decision that stays that its original home is an area much hotter than alola if you're planning to live with one your hitting bill will soar and this cannot be Sinnoh because suno is one of the colder regions like just looking at this fan made map you can see that Sinnoh is all the way up North next to gallery while Lola is All the Way South so if I were to guess I would think give a line can be made it to the Hoenn region and possibly in an area where Groudon ruled with his desolate land carnivine is not native to the center region as well because it is exclusive to the great Marsh which is equivalent to the Safari Zone so it was most likely imported from another region but honestly I have no idea which for the Riley lion it is unclear because in the original games Riley was only available as a gift from Riley but on the other hand it could be native to Kalos and here's why even though rylu and Lucario can be found naturally in asui and legends Arceus a game that takes place 300 years before Generation won essentially in the sooner region Kalos has lore dating back 3 000 years prior where it talks about the Ultimate Weapon and the Great War and his lore happens to include Lucario being the first trainer-owned Pokemon to Mega Evolve so it is quite possible that it's native to the Kalos region and then migrated to Sinnoh and then became known there but is all up to interpretation and is only a theory so I'll let you all talk about it in the comments down below the Scorpi lion are pollinated to the gala region because his sword Destiny said issues a common ancestor with sizzle and just like with artillery is cellos feeling to their ancestors that must mean that Scorpi is added to the gala region since in the original games it can only be found in the great Marsh not to mention that sizzlebee can be found all throughout Geller for Arceus it is pretty clear that it's not native to the sooner region because it literally created the Pokemon Universe so it is native to the universe itself and fun fact dalaka poki and Giratina are in fact from the center region since it is said that Arceus created them as Spear Pillar and technically you could save their data to the Johto region as well assistant heart gold soul silver there's an Unleashed event where Arceus creates another set of the creation Trio and finally we have manaphy who may be dated to the fjor region CIS manaphy is transferred from there to the center region via egg but again in Legends Arceus Menifee can be found in the hidden cave in Hisui so this one is up in the air as well thank you all right generation 5 and starting with the Unova starter Pokemon it's essentially the same case as most of the others alola is the only region where they can be found in the wild in in the games so I'm forced to assume that this is where they're native to but I'm not gonna lie I do feel a bit skeptical at this point since a lot of short Pokemon happened to come from this region so either a lot of professors go on vacation here and pick up the rare Pokemon from each island or the starter Pokemon are actually dated to somewhere else and personally I think it's probably the latter but let me know what you think Down Below in the comments the Elgin lion are definitely native to outer space as seen the anime and his decks and trees and surprisingly that is it for Generation 5. the weren't many Pokemon that I could find that were hinted to be not native to Unova and yes that includes the Zora line so this one can be found disguised as a young boy in castilia city so let's move on to generation six moving on to generation six I don't even want to say it but yes alola as well for the starters ugh and you know what I just realized you can literally perform the island scan multiple times on the same Pokemon so there's technically an unlimited supply of the starter Pokemon on alola lending more Credence to the theory that these guys are dated to this region next we have vivlion and this Pokemon has been confirmed to be native to literally every region because depending on the region it's from it has a different pattern so these butterflies are everywhere and finally for Generation 6 we have Hoopa who is likely native to the Hoenn region since his Reese can be found all over the Mirage spots but this is only a wild guess thank you all right generation seven and first up we have the young goose line which according to the sun descent tree is not originally from alola it was actually imported from another region to take care of all the lone ratatas and if I were to guess I would say the unknown region is definitely going to be an indian-based region since back in the 1800s Hawaii received most of their mongooses from India minir is native to the ozone layer just like Rayquaza so whether you think the ozone layer is a separate area from alola is for you to design for me personally I'm gonna give it a thumbs up the alolan grammar line aren't from alola they were actually imported from a different region to take care of all the garbage problems alola was facing so either a little grimer or muck or actually a regional form for a different region or they were cottonian and adapted to this form the cosmog line the Charisma and all the ultra bees are obviously from outer space or from different dimensions and there is a case for guzzler being native to alola since his Wormhole leads to an apocalyptic version of alola but I still think it invaded from its native world zeora is probably dated to Galler because literally a million of them appeared during the tax rate event and every single person who defeated one got a shiny zeora so I would say it as a strong case for being a gallerian Pokemon and finally we have the Melton line who are pulminated to our world simply because you can only find it and evolve it in Pokemon go and I guess technically our world will be a different dimension to the Pokemon games so it's kind of like an ultra Beast all right generation eight and just like the Kato Center Pokemon being native to Pokemon Island I think the Galaxy Pokemon are native to the lintel region which is region featured in the new Pokemon Snap which supposedly is a natural habitat for all these Pokemon the cute fit line is 100 native to the same region that the youngest line is from which is the indian-based region since it was stated in both corporate Judas and raichu's Dex entries Alternatives is obviously from outer space as we can see in this cutscene and Folly's rude is probably not from the gala region as well since his Destiny states that is from a jungle but there are no driggles in the gal region so it is unknown where it originates from and lastly we have generation 9 and quaxley is the only sort of Pokemon that we know so far that is not native to paldea but it is resonated to a distant land where it had migrated from long ago and in my scarlet and violet Pokedex video I theorize that quietly is from the African continent somewhere near the Canary Islands and finally for the last Pokemon we have iron Treads and iron moth which both have Destiny stating that they come from a different planet
