Pokémon McDonalds Happy Meals (Australia Exclusive)

oh good morning everybody and welcome back to what is a very early start to an unlisted leap video but today i couldn't sleep in i had to set the alarm and that is because here in australia it could be the best day of the year but mcdonald's are now selling the pokemon booster pack happy meals so i know you guys in america had this for i want to say like a month straight i think uk had it for two weeks and then it's been all around the world but today it is finally here in australia my home country and i don't have to fly in any booster packs i can just go to my local mcdonald's and pick up a few so i'm gonna go to like three or four locations see how many packs i can get i'm thinking we get like four packs or five packs per store and yeah and then we can open up when we get home and see what pokemon cards we get but it's just really exciting that our booster packs are being sold in mcdonald's now let's go check out the first one and see how many we can get [Music] [Music] alrighty guys so that was actually a really big success they had so many cases on there like that was ridiculous i can probably take this off now but i want to say they had like three or four cases and i managed to get seven pokemon boosters right here um yeah i was like you know what let's get seven only cost fourteen dollars so manchester secured the bag let's go to the next location and see if we can't get [Music] [Music] alrighty guys i'm officially back from mcdonald's hunting this morning we managed to hit up three separate stores one of them didn't even have it in stock yet but the other two did and they had plenty of them there so i'm super excited to say i managed to get a total of 14 boosters for today's video and we're gonna hunt down the holographic pikachu that's the one that everyone wants and when it came out in america it sold for like 14 000 as a graded card which is ridiculous and never paid that because let's be honest i'm buying these boosters at two dollars each so there's no reason the pikachu should be going for like 14 000 but anyway these right here are the australian version of the mcdonald's boosters right here as you can see no crazy difference that i can personally tell the only big thing that really stands out to me is we got 14 of these packs and they're all exactly the same art and i think the ones in america there were all sorts of different colors if you remember my video on them so i don't know if these colors are gonna change throughout the following weeks but i think for now let's be grateful we got the boosters and looks like australia only has one color scheme alrighty guys so let's break open a couple of these things make sure they're all exactly the same even though the front of it seems like they're going to be identical on the front we've got a classic pikachu looking he looks kind of shocked but kind of excited at the same time probably how i feel all the time 25th anniversary pokemon logo beautiful background which is actually on the back of the boosters as well all the separate sort of pokemon a little red mcdonald sticker to hold this together the smiley face and as we swing it around the pokemon trading card game case for i want to say cards uh but we'll see anyway let's open this up i don't know what the four was for let's open up the sticker and then we've got oh dude here we go this is what i'm talking about everyone's favorite there we go four additional game cards paper mcdonald's booster that wrapper made all out of paper but it's a beautiful looking pack i want to say one of my favorite for the year i don't know i just think that artwork is fantastic so yeah we get the boost back obviously we'll open all these in a second then i don't know i remember what this is exactly you guys can feel me in the comments but it's got no bottom so a little bit of like a like you carry your surtanas around in this thing um but yeah little like sort of miniature deck case looking thing and then you get this which is probably more aligned as to being the deck case look at all the starters in the front that is just awesome so yeah i presume that you'd like do the bottom up and you'd be able to carry your cards throughout the top here so pretty interesting this is like all 3d um but that's stock standard i think we got all of that in the same american one as well and then at the back of all of them you get a bit of a puzzle so this one's a coloring in one if we quickly like break open this one i think it should be exactly the same so uh is it yeah it's again oh my gosh they're all the same puzzle maybe we've got the coloring in thing this one get the uh booster and then you get the two deck boxes oh boys looks like the uh we got the coloring in case because they're all the same all right let's go from the bottom then all endo wants is a different puzzle i just want to find oh here we go i think we got a different one yeah look it there we go look at that oh it looks like the maze that uh cedric diggory got lost in this is amazing okay so you get a bit of a uh look at that amazing i used to love doing these in school so yeah you get the booster and it's exactly the same deck case and card holder and all that so this is pretty cool let me open up all of these get all the boost packs out and then we're going to go hunting for the holographic pikachu or basically any of the other holos because i never got to open up these boosters and try and complete the set because it was never available here in australia so let's do it alrighty ladies and gentlemen we managed to break open all the boost backs right here and let's get to start opening let's work out what exactly in australia uh do they declare is like the rare holographic card what are we gonna get the most of it's gonna be pretty interesting i think the a handy thing to oh here we go the holographic is right behind the booster it's gonna be a chimchar holo on our very first one dude the glue look at that the glue stuck to the card oh no look at that they've ripped the hollow can you see oh gosh guys what is that this hollow blade through the card and that's because the glue stuff to it when they're sealing up the pack did australia get like the sloppy leftovers from america oh no that's okay we got a hollow chimchar dude i love this so much beautiful classic like mcdonald's promo holo background confetti sort of style chimchar reprint and then the 25th anniversary logo this is awesome okay holographic at the back and then we've got regular froakie so i'm pretty sure all of these just come into holographic form but you only get one holo per pack and then we got that lit learn so 25 cards plus 25 hollow cards it does mean it's a 50 card set which is only just clicking now if you wanted to complete the entire thing without buying like resell without doing any of that you're looking to eat 50 cheeseburgers at the minimum that's a bit of a uh brought in the chat okay anyway let's uh let's open these up without dude the glue is like stuck to the card that's not as bad as the other one but look at that hologroooky to start things off right here i'll take it okay beautiful one listed leaf diet again look at that it's scratched on here oh quality control is through the window right there beautiful trico love that they're all starters and pikachu like just makes this so special okay score bunny as well the moment we get a pikachu i'm gonna absolutely freak out because i only ever got one like through our opening um you can go back and watch it we got that pikachu and it may have been the best day my whole life whoa look at this you can see i don't oh my god look at the whole car look at that the whole card is holographic is that an error no way that's not on the other ones is it let's have a look whoa it is too oh my god that is awesome look at that that's really obvious though all right sorry my bad is getting really distracted looks like the uh hollow bleeds right through the card which is bonkers that's really sick i love when cards do that man hopefully we can get a couple of psa tens like that aren't affected at all and then that squirtle right there with the litlin and see if that hollow's still coming right through the card so yeah let's oh i thought it was yeah i thought it was yellow but it's the edge of the card and it looks like it's going to be a grookie again not too shabby this one is a blade it is a bit wow that's crazy okay so hologrookie will put you at the back looks like the uh commons are definitely still the same commons that were in america i would have really appreciated a uh card set checklist or any type of thing like that i don't even know if they have them at the mcdonald's like there was no promo for this at all besides on the internet that's how i knew about it so it was pretty random like walking in there um first thing thursday i was like alright guys have you got the pokemon promo now like how does this guy know about it how does everyone know about it look at this it's completely stuck that's such a shame oh well holographic froakie okay not too shabby got the water type now then we go oh that's a beautiful pimple up then we're gonna pop leo one of my favorites i still have nostalgia from when they announced popular as a pokemon like i remember that it was so exciting i think everyone loved popular when they uh showed that trailer off okay let's do the next one any of the original starters is gonna be amazing oh rowlet okay fair enough all right i'll take it take a yar look at that majestic lonesome roulette right there not as much hollow bleed on that card beautiful ah and there we go there's our first look at the pikachu all right if you get a happy meal this is kind of the card you want to get this is the card that everyone idolizes classic mascot pikachu poplio again and a score bonnie i wonder if we're going to have all the 25 cards by the end of the video like in non-holo 4 that would be pretty wild i suppose you don't need 50 there's 50 cards but you suppose you don't need to eat 50 cheeseburgers now i think about it you could probably be really lucky and just get the 25 uh different lots out of 25 mils but you'd have to be so lucky that is an incredible pimple of dude holy smokes i love that art it's hand-drawn but he's just like such a boss pimple-up's always so like i don't know it's kind of bossy but a cute bossy if you know what i mean ah that's awesome and that is fuel in the background okay so we've got a hollow pimple then we get that charmander got the chest bin and the lip line so little might be the most common so far i think we've seen a lot of lit lints a lot of school bunnies got the snippy we're getting a lot of hollow unlisted leaf types i don't know if that's the studio i don't know if that's my luck but this is pretty interesting got that classic black and white era snippy right there and then the regular version of pimple up chest bin and certs wig now i'm getting a little bit nervous because we are about halfway and it looks like it's going downhill pretty fast okay but look at that that's all we got left how do we burn through that many granted if this doesn't work out and you guys are endo oh nice hollow turtley you like ando do a search for the pikachu i will go back out into the world and we'll order a whole bunch of these pokemon happy meals and see if we can't get the chew but we got a turd twig this is gonna be an awesome recap by the way froakie fennekin and a modkier all right what are we dealing with final five final six these paper boosters man it's kind of cool like all for the environment recyclable it's fire and it's a fennekin that's not too shabby all right not one of the starters in the front but it is a beautiful holographic panicking right there then we got the snivvy again got that chicarita this time that's a win and a score bunny so let's keep going final four by the looks of it oh god it is final four boosters we really burned through ten packs really quick right there okay get that one off the chickarito i reckon yep i called it okay chica reader right here that's the first one look at that disgusting oh no look at that they've completely chipped it there and there oh that's okay all right holographic chica reader beautiful holographic pattern we haven't doubled up too much on the holo so i think i've read things about the american cases where there's not particularly really rare cards and not rare cards they evenly put like five chica readers in each case five score bunnies and they make sure all the pokemon are even because they don't want to favorite any but i don't really believe that with pikachu because pikachu's obviously really rare so that's definitely not evenly distributed but maybe the other pokemon are we'll see we'll see how many you double up hollow-wise oh torchic okay that's it that's good this is good got that holographic torchic in that field of daisy's looking absolutely so cute really nice like sort of calming sort of artwork then we've got that tree car squirtle which i really wouldn't mind and a little second to last mcdonald's booster pack ladies and gentlemen it is none other holy smokes i think we've done it please don't be damaged it's a flipping pikachu that's what i'm talking about it only takes one video and you don't even need to buy 25 happy meals we did it on the first go-round pikachu polographic dog that is amazing and we didn't even double up too much in the hollows as if that's the second and last pack oh that's unreal it's definitely not getting a psa 10 look at that what the flip is that i don't even know can you see it it's oh it's like dirt but it's actually on the card and there too oh man that's okay it's going in the binder anyway i don't think i'd grade this one um that's amazing though we i can't believe that we managed to get it out of 14. like i didn't even buy 25 to complete the whole set dude that's pretty cool okay so we got the pikachu holo card which is obviously the one you want i know people in america that have opened over like 25 50 packs they still don't have the pikachu so for us to do it two videos in a row is awesome trico sepike and oshawa all right this is it the final mcdonald's pokemon booster celebrating the 25th anniversary what do you think charmander it gets even better like if you don't get a pikachu obviously you want charmander evolves into the flipping charizard this is probably the best ending to any mcdonald's opening you could possibly do we've got that beautiful looking charmander as if it's raining that's so sad poor charmander i'll put you at the back we'll come back to him on the recap don't worry got the snippy it's epic and chimchar all right without further ado i'm going to do a recap of all the hollows and i also want to do oh at the end of the video take a look at how many of the comments and uncommons we got and if we completed the set [Music] alrighty ladies and gentlemen okay this is gonna sound crazy but we opened up 14 boosters from two separate stores right we only doubled up once and that was on a groupie like check this out we started with that original bulbasaur number one in the whole set it's an absolute stunner um i think obviously people want the bulbasaur squirtle charmander or pikachu so we got that in the hollow form then we doubled up twice on this rookie and that's about it i'm so curious if we got any other holes in the set but i think we did pretty good so we got rookie right here then we've got that roulette these are all in our energy form as well so we got the unlisted leaf snivvy got that turp swing as well he's looking good and the chica reader the artwork is to die for then we got that beautiful 25th anniversary stamped froakie got the pimp blop looking all bossy i love it chimchar as well which is classic out of steam siege got the fennekin and then we got that charmander ah this is awesome okay and then we got the torchic on top of that and ladies and gentlemen i don't know what to tell you we managed to get a pikachu as well like it's so classic that we miss out another pokemon and then we managed to get this one but let's not end it here put all the cards out um in order and work out what we're missing still and if we need another video ladies and gentlemen unless i'm absolutely missing a card right now are you looking at the recap are you looking at this result right here i got every single card except for one and that right there is the cyndaquil i can't believe it out of 14 boosters oh we managed to get every single card not everyone's in holographic but you know what we got like a a good lot of them and i managed to fill in the blanks and the rest of the cards but this is so sad because that's like a complete set i might just photoshop cynical in right here and if anyone wants to trade my double for cyndaquil let me know in the comment section like if you get that one in your happy meal but that right there is a complete australian 25 card set of uh of the pokemon tcg that you can get in the happy meals nowadays and that sort of shows as well you don't need to go down to your local like mcdonald's and buy an entire case 14 packs is like enough to complete the whole thing so just leave some for other people i think
