POCO F6 vs POCO F6 Pro - Ultimate Smartphone Comparison - Which to Buy?

what's up guys today I bring you a head-to-head comparison between two new Poco smartphones we have the Poco F6 versus the PCO F6 Pro both of these smartphones feature 4 nanometer Flagship Snapdragon chipsets so in this video we are simply trying to find out what are the main differences between these two phones so let's start off with the prices now when pocos send you a review unit they never disclose the price but from Past reviews and Trends we know that Poco is well known in producing a super bang for your buck value smartphone and you can expect the same from these two phones so let me try and guess what I think the price is going to be let's predict it so I'm guessing the Poco F6 will cost around the 400 Mark and the F6 Pro will cost around the 600 Mark now I have no idea if that is what it's going to be now by the time I publish this video the actual prices would have been unveiled in the launch and you can check out those prices from the links in the description box design and feel how do these feel in my hands the F6 features a plastic body and a complete plastic frame with this rather nice titanium color now really liking how this phone looks and feels um it looks like a metallic phone even the frame looks like metal but it is indeed made from plastic so they've achieved a pretty decent look camera bump looks quite interesting as well well now in comparison the Poco F6 pro model is made from a metal frame going all the way around and glass back and it's finished in white with an interesting design and if I put them both side by side and if we just compare the frames you can see they've done a very good job with the standard F6 model giving it an almost metal look so effectively both phones do look premium now both phones are pretty slim and light the F6 is 8 mm thick and weighs 179 G and the F6 Pro is 8.21 MM thick and weighs 209 G so technically the F6 is slightly Slimmer and lighter but in the hands you will not notice the difference they feel more or less the same in terms of weight and dimensions but the pro version I have to admit does feel a bit more premium with its metal and glass combo you can definitely tell the difference between them you can certainly feel that plastic frame versus metal frame but nevertheless both very well made now let's talk displays both feature 6.67 in 120 HZ AMOLED displays with super fast 2160 HZ touch sampling in both phones now both phones feature pulse wave modulation dimming F6 supports 1920 HZ and the F6 Pro supports double 3840 HZ both phones also feature Dolby Vision hdr1 Plus and Dolby Atmos and they are both 12-bit panels now I believe both screens are also protected by Gorilla Glass victus both also feature 100% DCI P3 color space and they both have TUV Rin L low blue light and flicker-free certifications Peak brightness 2,400 nits versus 4,000 nits in the F6 Pro now let's quickly compare the ports F6 Pro is on top you can see the same port layout so they both have their dual 5G Sim trays we've got microphones we've got type-c charging port and a loud speaker the pro model on top you can see antenna lines at the bottom now on the side we've got volume rocker and power button and again antenna lines on the pro model now up on top they both have microphones IR Blaster and you've got a secondary speaker on the standard model and more antenna lines on the pro model and if we go on this side there are no other buttons or ports but we do have two more antenna lines on the pro model both phones have the same size 5,000 Mah batteries and they both come with fast charges in the box so the F6 comes with a 90 W charger which can get this phone from 0 to 100% in around 40 minutes and the F6 pro model comes with a faster 120 W hypercharger which can get this phone from 0 to 100% in just 20 minutes furthermore neither phone supports wireless charging furthermore as mentioned earlier both phones do support Doby Atmos and here is a quick side by side sound test [Music] [Music] [Applause] feel so desperately that you're right yet to fail all the same you feel so desperately that you're right yet to fail all the same soundwise Dolby Atmos on both sound amazing but I have to say the pro version provides a slightly louder slightly richer and a bit more immersive sound than the standard model um either way they both sound brilliant but I think the pro edges it with the sound quality a little bit better okay so now let's talk about processing power both phones are powered by Snapdragon they are both 4 nanometer octacore chipsets offering you a flagship performance the F6 has the Snapdragon 8s gen 3 which is cled at 3 GHz and the F6 pro has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 which is clocked at 3.19 GHz both also feature integrated Graphics so Poco F6 has the adreno 735 and the F6 pro has the adreno 740 and if we have a quick look at the Benchmark results you can see that the F6 achieves 1.4 million in an2 and the F6 Pro achieves a slightly higher 1.6 million so in n22 interesting results both phones offer a powerful performance but the F6 Pro offers only a slightly better performance than the F6 and the difference would not even be noticeable in realtime usage so that means the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 is slightly less powerful than the 8 Gen 2 and nearly half the performance of the new Snapdragon 81 3 now we should also compare the temperatur so starting temperatures for the F6 you can see 26.7 versus 28.2 and the temperatures after concluding this benchmark test F6 is 43° and the F6 Pro is 44.2 De so I guess both concluded the benchmark test at quite a hot temperature um but the probe was a tad hotter and in Gig bench you can see the F6 model actually scored a higher single core and a higher multicore than the pro model and to give you an idea of how these new Poco phones rank performance-wise against the other top Flagship smartphones then take a look at my top performing smartphone chart for 2024 which will allow you to compare the specs and prices of all the latest releases and from this chart you can see the Poco F6 pro has taken position 10 with an anti2 Benchmark score of 1.6 million and the standard Poco F6 takes position 12 with 1.4 million Benchmark score now you can view the full versions of all my charts online at chi.com and read them at your leisure and completely free of charge furthermore both phones feature lpddr5 Ram with ufs 4.0 storage the F6 is available in two variants so you can get the base model 8+ 256 or 12 plus 512 which I have here the F6 Pro is available in three variants so you have the base model 12 plus 256 and also the option for 12 plus 512 but in addition you get the maxed out version which I have here 16 + 1 terabyte version and just to confirm neither phone support micro SD expansion so whatever storage you buy that is what you have to work with both phones do support dual SIM 5G that's 12 band 5G and you get 3 years OS updates in both phones and both phones are running the latest version of Android 14 with xiaomi's Hyper OS on top and both phones allow you to extend that Ram using virtual RAM and you can extend that up to 8 gigs Now quickly compare the display settings of both now both phones do support Dynamic refresh rate so it can automatically switch the refresh rate up to 120 HZ or you can select 60 HZ all the time or 120 HZ all the time furthermore the pro model does allow you to switch the resolution from wqhd to full HD Plus and both do support an AI image engine so you can switch on super resolution for videos to enhance them you have ai HDR enhancements in both phones but in addition to that the pro model has AI image enhancement and the pro model also features MMC to add additional frames to make things look a lot more smoother so that's the extra features you get there other than that everything else looks pretty much the same I'm going to quickly show you the additional settings where you can see all the other features all right now it's time to test out the gaming performance I've got Call of Duty mobile graphic settings open on both so we're going to compare the graphics settings first of all Maximum Graphics selectable on both phones are the same so you can see on the pro model at the top very high and Max is the maximum you can select and exactly same on the standard F6 very high and Max the option for Ultra is available on both so if I select Ultra you will see what happens the graphics will drop down to medium on both so let's just select the maximum possible and let's check out some gameplay enemy in sight so that was the standard Poco F6 game played really well um barely warm to the touch really nice game play now let's pick up the pro model let's play around on this one get down ATT standing by UAV Recon standby the gaming performance is really good on both phones it actually felt like I was playing on the same phone the performance is more or less on par with each other all right now let's check out the cameras so the F6 has 50 map primary with 8 map ultrawide with LED flash and on the front we have a 20 megap front camera now the F6 pro has 50 megap primary 8 megap Ultra wide and 2 map macro with LED flash and on the front we have a 6 16 megap front camera now both phones do have 50 megap primary sensors but they are not the same sensors the F6 uses Sony IMX 882 primary sensor which is the same primary sensor that we have seen in the real me 12 Pro the Vivo T3 and the Oppo k12 and the F6 pro has a slightly newer sensor it's the omniv vision 50k which is the same sensor used in the xiaomi redmi k70 and the k70 pro and also the xiaomi civil 4 Pro furthermore you can see the differences in the camera bump design so you got big and bold sensors on the F6 and smaller compact looking sensors in the F6 Pro and to be honest the sensor design layout on the Poco F6 looks a bit more premium um especially with that metal trim going around the lenses the F6 pro has a more basic look that you see in budget camera setups so we definitely need to compare some side by sides to see how they both fair starting off with video recording both phones shooting at their maximum resolutions with the rear cameras so the F6 shoots in 4k 60 and the F6 Pro is shooting in 8k 24 frames and this is what you can expect from the video quality and stabilization so you can see it in its Glory side by side for you to compare now let's even the playing field by setting both phones to 4K 60 now let me know which one you prefer [Applause] [Music] now moving on I know some people still like using 1080p at 60 frames so it's a good idea to share 1080p samples of both again let me know which one you think is done [Music] better now switching to the front cameras maximum video resolution supported on both is 1080p at 60 frames so you can see what front video looks like side by side and again do share your thoughts in the comments [Music] below all right so now it's time to compare some photos both phones shoot 12 megapixel photos in standard photo mode otherwise known as bin shots you can also shoot full 50 megapix photos on both phones and here are some samples for you to look at [Music] so interesting results what did you guys think of the cameras let me know which one you think is better all right so moving on to drms and system information quick look at DRM info you can see both phones support Google wide Vine level one and if we open up Netflix on both you can see both support do Vision with spatial audio now here is CPU Z so we can compare the clock speeds you can see at the bottom here adreno 735 versus adreno 740 both Qualcomm chips now both phones support ufs 4.0 so here is the results for the internal disc speeds you can see the Poco F6 achieves read speeds of 1451 and right speeds of 498 mbes per second and in comparison the F6 Pro achieves read speeds of 1247 and right speeds of 403 mbes per second and I did run this a few times and every single time the F6 achieved a slightly faster read and write speeds so there you have it guys that was my quick comparison test between the Poco F6 versus the Poco F6 Pro both powerful Flagship powered Snapdragon chipsets and let me sum this one up for you performance- wise there is actually not much between them the benchmarks are quite similar and everyday use including gaming feels the same on both phones the F6 Pro does have a slightly higher resolution and higher brightness and faster pulse wave modulation dimming other than that exactly the same screen Tech cameras are also slightly better and higher 8K resolution video recording and the F6 Pro also supports faster 120 HZ hypercharged versus 90 W charging so those were the main differences between these two smartphones and as usual when you buy a new Poco phone you can absolutely expect great value for your money no matter which one you pick you're going to have a great time with it I especially like the titanium version of the F6 the design although plastic looks very premium with the camera bump and curved corners and the trim around the camera bump um it I mean if you look at it it almost looks like a metal frame the F6 looks as premium as the pro model but in the hands it is quite obvious which one is plastic and which one is metal now to find out more info on these smartphones including
