oh this is a Scot again and today basically making this video about pocket carry and I have my own express opinions about pocket carry doesn't mean I'm absolutely right absolutely right but here's my perspective on pocket care I think is a bad idea and I didn't come up that that notion simply because you know my own opinion but through my own personal experience like I said on my past interview I lived in an inner city for almost 27 years I've seen a lot of different things and the one particularly experience that I did encounter one day all basically convinced me that pocket carry is a bad idea recently my uncle had left me this uh Smith or Wesson model 60 both 34 chief special and I was actually considering using it as a pocket carry pissed-off thing about going out and getting a pocket holster for it because it is such a light gun is it's very pleasant to shoot even with plus peas uh my uncle actually wore this holster out he actually owned the store in Philadelphia actually a jazz restaurant and he wore it out this count this is very comfortable also this holster he really did a good job and break him in for me and the reason why I didn't go out and get this other pocket holster for this it's because some time ago night bout 1995 it was a Saturday and I was riding around town and saw this real pretty girl me this girl she's prettier than Halle Berry man she was Halle Berry's younger prettier sister no lie so you know I pulled up tour you know I'm say like hey can I get your number you know you know trying to make small talk make her laugh try to you know get into panty season before Christ days so of course she said no big dude you know she basically said well give me your number and I'll call you so you know I said I drove all of us okay as she never bought called me but darn I was really upset but it's okay so about two months later it was a Friday night and I got off work and I was relaxing playing or going out on town or do anything going to Philly on South Street or anything like that so basically I got a phone call around 11:00 o'clock at night guess who it was it was that girl is Halle Berry's prettier younger sister okay so after I got the phone call of course all the blood from my head it just rushed straight down to my pants you guys know exactly what I'm talking about and women you know what I'm talking about too you know and so I got up and I actually grabbed my beretta 21a which is 25 caliber that I used to carry all the time I called him sneaky peek so I grab sneaky pete but then something soon as I got to the other stairwell to go downstairs to get to my car something hit me so wow this something doesn't seem right okay so I went back into the house that back to my bedroom I grabbed my Glock I had this Glock since 1991 I believe so I grabbed my Glock 19 and I actually grabbed the extra clip now put this in my waistband and I actually grabbed a clip an extra clip because for some reason I felt something was going to happen I wasn't sure it was probably because she lived on a hare on set basically it was a 24 hour McDonald's like a hare on set where you just drive up get whatever you want you wanted to kilo de Kitty or whatever you want so uh I win the house I went back my bedroom I grab this gun and I put it in my pants and I you know and everything and I headed out to her house got to the house and she lived in the projects and basically uh the projects where she lived were like garden style type projects I know many of you probably seen them before and uh the kitchen actually had a door back door and the front door it had a front door so what I decided because it was a real bad drug said first of all right pulled up to the address there was no one outside and that's strange because this was a 24/7 drug set now as I think back it was probably a drought somebody probably got raided didn't having drugs and most people that ever lived in a city know that when drug dealers don't have any drugs to sell what they do is they pick up their gun and they go rob people so looking back that's what was about to happen to me so I pulled up to the house there was no actually no cars parked on her block and I was like wow this is crazy because I always see cars one or two or three street cars parked out there so I got out my car it was cold I had a fleece jacket on some fleece jogging pants and everything so I went out instead of going into her court where her apartment was I didn't go in there because I know they sell drugs there too and it was pitch black a lot of people don't know but drug deals what they'll do if they sell in the area and it's very lucrative they will actually shoot all of the lights out on the building and on the street they'll shoot every street light out so they can it be dark so be difficult for our police officers take pictures of surveillance pictures of them and also just make it difficult for them being chased the whole night make it hotter drugs easier and the trash they can boy number of things you could do in the dark the evil loves dark so basically I went up to knocked on her backdoor instead of her front door which was up closer to the street so I'm knocked on the door I go in the house and lo and behold Halle Berry's pretty little sister it was it was about five more of them just like her sitting in the kitchen playing spades oh my goodness and I cannot believe I got called to this game so I'm sitting in the kitchen and I'm just watching I mean I'm just enjoying the view you know and um you know they're talking and then about five minutes later there was a knock at the front door in the liver and the girl Halle Berry's pretty sister got up and she went to open that front door and I heard Jews a lot of dudes at the front door so they came in I saw oh here we go what's going on okay all right okay all right fine I was like well I got my Glock and I got an extra clip or actually magazine yeah okay fine that's great I'm prepared if they come in what I did was I actually pulled my own gun out of my waistband and I actually put it in my jacket pocket and then when I got closer to the kitchen table I actually pulled out my jacket pocket and put it under the table with my hand like this on it on the trick or not on the trigger guard so next thing you know the rest of the girls left the table they went into the living room so I was sitting in the kitchen for maybe a half an hour about myself and I didn't want to go in there because I'd won I don't know who's in there that's the first thing to I was suspicious in the first place because Halle Berry's pretty your sister invited me over to watch a game of prettier girls in their kitchens okay so then next thing you know about a half hour later this girl comes in and guess what she's in her underwear yeah mmm the girl comes into the kitchen and her bra and her panties and it was looking very nice and the blood went straight to my pants again and she opened the kitchen door and went and gets got something to drink like a soda something like that I said oh no something's not right so I said okay she went back in the living room so she's thinking about so she's parading around naked like that in front of all them dudes out front something they right so I said okay it's time to roll say okay Scott let's get up go out the same way you came in lock the door behind you so if they you hear them opening the door trying to run to the door and open the door in this lot you'll hear them struggling trying to get out the door so that's exactly what I did I got up put half my gun in my hand open the door locked it behind me close the door close the screen door quietly walk down star head towards my car and lo and behold what do I see in front of my car I see one dude in front of my car and another guy and in the back of my car looking right at me so I said okay I see what it is at that time had my head put my Glock in my own jacket pocket and I had my clip in this hand my extra clip was in this hand so I mean it's cold so I'm look I'm playing a game who is cool you know I got everything ready right so you know as typical we call a stick-up boys will do when the hood is they will ask you what time it is why do they want to ask you what time then so they can see your hands they want to see your hands you want to see if you got a weapon and if they don't want to see it what if you have a weapon they want to see if you uh they want to see we hands on so you can't reach for a weapon why because then they're going to run your pockets or they're going to search your pockets for you they're not going to allow you to reach into your pockets and grab anything and if I had a pocket holster and I was dependent and relied upon a pocket holster and I had gave them the proper time they would have my gun and it had me okay now one thing about the scenario that I was actually in is that if they did rob me they were probably planning on killing me you know because you know why would you rob somebody somebody's house that you know they know they're going to get caught up as an accomplice so they were probably trying to kill me at that time I owned a carpet store in Camden and I you know I used to you know I was doing pretty well for myself so I guess they maite tart found out later and targeted me because they figured I had a lot of cast but a lot of people I've you already know that when you own the business you know the money ebbs and flows but at that time I really didn't have a lot of money I may have had a nice car some maybe some jury and all those kinds of things but times were kind of tough at that time so my idea is 1995 it's kind of tough at that time when Clinton first goddamn was rough that year so what happened was the guy asked me what time it was I said okay well I know what time it is so I pulled my my Glock out of my pocket and I took my jacket and I pushed my jacket up over top of my watch put the clip in my head in my hand and the guy started jumping up in the air this is two o'clock it's two o'clock it's two o'clock and as soon as he started jumping up the guy that was in front of my car started running he started skipping off like you know something like oh oh mary had a little lamb or he was skipping off like uh was that a yellow brick road girl you know he's looking for some heart you know going to see the Wizard and then that's when I actually learned how important peripheral vision is because now I didn't just see that I just saw the guy here and in the back front in the back of my car I didn't see the guy that was across the street coming towards me because when they start yelling and started running that's when that guy I saw him stutter step turn and retreat so it was three of them outside and I don't know how many were inside the house and that's why I believe a pocket carry is not a good option and actually Wade actually getting a pocket carry a holster for the Smith & Wesson Model 36 but I just you know when I thought about all the different times I did encounter some I was trying to rob me whether it was in the Chinese store bar or when I was bouncing clubs whatever the situation was they always will want to see your hands so gentlemen if somebody actually is a action for the time you know you might be having a great time coming out of the restaurant with your wife and your children or your family members or friends and you're having a good time you're chuckling it up you know laughs and everything somebody's outside they like can I a buddy can I get the time watch yourself because one they might just be trying to rob you for your cell phone it might snatch your cell phone because a lot of people don't look at that watch nowadays they look at their cell phone and a lot of the smart phones are very expensive so what I would do if I were you is be very conscious about people asking for time asking for change you know be very cautious and the most important thing like they teach you in CCW classes is that actually you have to be a situational awareness to actually actually see things before it actually happens you know my pride myself I tried to see things before they happened I am NOT trying to have anybody in my my space at all you know you're not going to get armed distance close to me you know without me actually telling you to back up or just giving you a bad look or something like that I'm not going to let you get close because like in one of my other videos I told explain I was carjacked us I was out from the age of 12 to 20 living in inner city I was almost robbed or killed about 20 times and that's not a lot I'm going to be making some videos about each one of those situations is as you know I really feel up to making the video about it because you know they were kind of it was kind of rough just like this time when they were sitting right believe they set him out me up to get robbed and killed you know I never heard from that girl again ever and I thought I'd never seen that girl again I don't even know if that apartment was hers I don't maybe they had a warehouse sitting in somebody or that maybe they broke the apartment I don't know I don't know they might have killed me and left me there an apartment you know and took my car robbed me the whole night and at that time in 1994 you all know it was the drug wars you all know his crime in America especially murder was out of the roof so uh you know I just you know and and I just pray that you know all of you take my advice you know you know each to each is old you know I'm not criticizing if you pocket carry you know maybe you know some see us from our MMA or some crowd McGraw she's not really worried about somebody coming up to you and getting to enter your space because that's really where you want them is in your space you know especially in MMA the ice wrestling high school but I don't think I'm good enough or remember the stuff that I used to know when I was younger and I'd like to pray for you guys also father God in the name of Jesus look I ask you to bless these men and women that watch this video Lord God and I know they don't carry a gun to be macho they're not trying to be John Wayne they're not trying to be Gene Autry Lord God I know that they're trying to protect themselves and their families and those who they love and those innocent people there would be victimized by the evil people like the men in a Colorado that killed so many people Lord in Jesus name I asked you to together II by situational awareness lord I opened their eyes give them eyes behind the head Lord God look out if they should be out enjoying themselves with their family and friends lord I asked in Jesus name Lord God that is some someone actually a predator come about them where God sent an angel whisper in the ear danger whisper in their hair look out whisper in their ear take your family back into the restaurant lord I give them guidance and instruction through the entire time Lord God give them the ability to utilize their training Lord God look I bless their body so that their adrenaline doesn't give them so much some adrenaline rush Lord God that they lose bodily functions or that they don't get too nervous can't draw but when they draw they gun goes off for God and name of Jesus look god pace it has a protection about them more God if they should not know you more God as their Lord and Savior Lord I asked you to whisper love to them Lord God for time is short Lord God and I know you don't desire to any man perish look out but that we all might have eternal life in Jesus name I pray amen
