of the the show or what we do in we're gonna give you we love plumb in has one option we the plumbing Pete and Andy's job to somewhere or putting on these road trips or road trip yeah something like message anyway so basically what we're gonna do is it's gonna be me and Andy in the van talking about everything to do with the plumbing industry electrical stuff as well you're joining around any building work three trades could be laying everything everything that we come into contact with on our job so if we're doing a full refurb will be working with masters chippy Sparky's decorators they don't like to be called painters so it's for everyone but we're both plumbers so we're going to do our own thing we've got ideas we've got content with that we think you'll enjoy doing a little bit of a road show I think that would have to do a bit of that go round and see other gamers and electricians let's say and join us I'm not leaving plasters out because they're quite good you know that I'm going to different factory shows seen things but more importantly if there's anything you want us to do or anything you want to ask either others or for us to cover in this whatever the show and send them in DM to me or Andy and we'll try and get it included for you so um yeah that's thus this sort of the background to it we're going to be doing tips tips advice advice tour reviews and technical stuff visiting factories having a bit far enough in a bit Banda's olaf course a lot of people work on their own now yeah so they can't really they've not really got a chance to have a bit of laughs so we'll do it for you is it is a serious one for you if you've got any mental health problems if you feel a bit down about work if it's something getting you down someone's not paid a bill SP and under will try make you feel bad about it because you can guarantee you whatever you're going through if one of us hasn't gone through it someone out there is going through it and it's um canal we can all be alright I'll tell you what you know just harping on that I think I have helped a few people already and I know you have and because we did about this to me about maybe six months ago something like that and it was we touched on it a little bit because I didn't realize that the biggest killer of people between I think it's something like 18 and 25 is suicide and it's even higher in the construction industries it's amazing so if you do feel a little bit down or depressed or anything like that you know don't be on your own don't be on your own that raises would you do a review on razors probably won't get rid of a bit I've had to grow this to match up because yours is so beer day yeah podium set off to grow a beard had a chaplet a bit of growth yeah and then chaplet when and it just carried on can't stop it now mine's like it's getting longer but I made the mistake of it trimming it to my jawline oh and now I've had to it's a bit field back in always saying into told you because somebody was appeal module off never looking so what's only one there's no if everything cool because it sets off started started it in November I'm gonna spoil it for you know and yeah you lucky asked all these people to support tradesmen and a lot of people did sign it on social media but the general public who rely on was plumbers electricians every single day of the week to keep their heating on the hot war on and they couldn't be asked to sign a petition to protect our livelihood if if they were expecting a plumber or an electrician to turn up to get their heat you know war back on all the lights back on and we rang up in the morning said sorry mrs. Smith if I can't come today because all my tools have been news well what you mean you can't come now I've got no power it'd be the end of the world to them but they can't take five minutes out of their day not even not a minute to sign a petition to protect tradesmen and their tools it just some just a bit fed up with it you know when I start I di for we're gonna do this gonna use my social media following gonna get everyone on it got a load of good mates behind me helping me out you did your beer everyone did their own bit but just feel let down by everyone so at the minute it's struggling to hit forty thousand signatures bearing in mind we got the first thirty thousand within three weeks it's just dragging I was just a bit pissed off with everyone to build not everyone who's been involved it everyone who's not signed it that's only why I think is and I really do think you know like you used to walk down the road and somebody to say can you sign my petition and you just used a sign of it paper there's really simple isn't it you know obviously the same person could sign it 25,000 times whether obviously it's gone got to be accountable now so that's the difference between you know I've been to you know press a button and then you know maybe what your email address on something like that but do you think that some people off it was a bit too much effort yeah I mean I went to I went to tall fair at Ally Pally and I was asking people you know I had a clipboard you got to the light step back don't wanna talk to you mate I got a minute let me tell what it's about have you ever had two tools stolen from you Ron and all of them said yeah and I said oh I've got this petition to try and get the government to helpers I'll sign that but there was a few people not signing that why not I don't give my email just to government I don't want this at all all that and even in the merchants I was talking to going to merchants I said we sonication well what's it for this is against tool theft oh you will never stop you won't unless you try and do somehow bad and that's what we're trying to do and this guy had his tools nicked a couple of times but he still wouldn't sign in if you can't get people like that sign it yeah what open we got but the other thing I just I'll jump in there because I'm only going in about my own personal thing and I do know that there's loads and loads of two thefts out there every day but like I said I've had the van rycke you know the door ripped off my family call it peeling steel but there were no tools inside there so they peeled it just have a look so while I'm trying to say that if you are one of them burglars and you're watching this alright can you just chisel locks off or something because I've I've know sagged or now on my van for five months and I'm struggling to get in and out my van and all I actually want to do is go to work to earn a few quid so that I can live if even if they don't take your tools or even if they take your tools the the mess they make of your van well you can't use that van so you can't get back to work to earn your money back to buy your new tools yeah your van goes in when my van got broken into I've told this story before they give me a Nissan Micra to work out for three weeks I was driving over all my kitty in the back of the van I remember I did a full centrally you know this Nissan Micra was an ABS nightmare and had to keep because they took my van into the I don't know body shop in Nottingham but I'm working in North bruh and if there was one little tall I needed that forgot to take off the van I'd have to drive tonight come and get it because when you do our job it don't matter what you're doing you can never prepare you've got our van because you got all these different tools that's the nightmare and it just affects every last bit of your work life when you get broken into what I thought I'd do it I was buying a tank with a gun to it and it you know so I can put all my stuff in me tank if anybody comes up I can shoot them I mean I thought it would feel like I've got dead oak wakes to deadlocks got extra alarm on a park with my back doors on my side door up to submit as best I can whenever I can I do that but you know what happens I'm telling this exactly what happens because a lot of lives I've talked to they've not got anything like I don't know whether it's a bank vault or something to keep it all safe you don't have them so they might take the tools out at nighttime put them somewhere else in the house or somewhere what in the day thinking that they've done a safe thing which they have we've got the diff alleviated the nighttime problem but when my vans being done it's been in the data and while I'm at work so I can't take all those tools with me on to every job or if I stop to go to the sandwich shop or supermarket and after off a trolley egg to put on the tooling to carry them around just to live like this which is crazy to have to be under this threat even on this day's living it's just not I can remember and you know i I've been doing a long time like we always know but I remember when you support copper pipe on the top of your van ya know what you saw sent you is when it rained because it used to oxidize it and you have to clean it all really well so the biggest book been about putting pipe when your roof then was it's gonna oxidize your pipes well if you point if I point your roof now it lasts about 20 seconds speaking of um bolts do you want to go and have a look at some bad bolts I'd love job because I've heard that they've upgraded them yeah it's gonna blow product development area they've got laid out all the different BAM bolts we're gonna have a look how they work the different sizes available stuff like that a chat with the guy who actually designs of makes them there's loads of different types of tool storage boxes available we've been listening to why these ones are the best whether they're the most secure the amount of tests that they go through they actually get ex-convicts to try and break into them things like how all the things that you don't know it goes on there's a massive range different sizes so we'll have lock up now and they're just been certified as well we just got a new range out and we'll just show you some of the different so this is a van vault so and this is the biggest seller and the one that you probably recognize I've got this one in my van so there's been a few modifications to this one now we've got the key is inside so that one you've got you're not going to be able to knock it off and to be more difficult to get to that lock to try and break into this he's got toughened up steel here and all around this area that you can't drill we counter a little bit it's very very difficult we've laid this down now so that we can get bigger things in without having to kick put them over the top we've got a steel cross on here to make it more secure the handle we've made so if somebody wants to try and prise this off the handles made with plastic bolts on the back so the handle will pull off but it you'll still lift up to 60 kg got this for same-day to stop that coming down we've got a pneumatic rod on here so that it's not gonna drop down and fingers so that's the new band vault so cracking be a kid so move from the event also which we all know and love I've gone to the outback which is four of the you know big advantage got to lock sonic we've got the tipper which is the next size up from that you could probably if you were feeling a bit tired get in that one another little kid Cunha on site lock yourself in we've got a big massive and like a sprint or something like that you know builders might want to put their know grinders or stuff like that in there as well that's for if these are all bit too big for you we've gone to this mobi which is a smaller version there's something else again you know quite a lot of you kicking in in there you want to keep safe again it's got this bit off the front so you can get your stuff in and out easy thing that I like about this is he's got this tray at the bottom so this locks into this tray by this lock on the side here feet so you can take it out lift that out with you take it onto saw it take you onto the side or you can take him if you at nighttime you can put it in your garage but you could buy another one of those trays and just lock it into there awesome so these are the slider version see you'll recognize these two these the ones I've got in my van this is the newest version so it's got runners like you'd find in in any kind of drawer it's got improved secure lock on it now if like me you get into you can get the same keys the syllabus pair so if you are buying two at the same time you can request up the same key to a lock on so these sliders the level room is pretty impressive you can get a lot of kit inside these they don't take the DeWalt t stacks they're not tall enough but they do take most standard quarters toolboxes or if you sticking them in individually if you take them out the boxes you can get so much stuff in these so you can also buy dividers so you can section it off which is to show you on this slim slide up I mean this has got for him but you can have two and you can have one in whatever they just pull out so the width of this is the same as two of these it's not puff the size height wise though it's a bit more than a half so you can't get two of these on top of each other to be the same as this if you've got like a raised floor in your van mark I have Bert saying that raise floor if you have a look on the top just with these loose in it's a pretty substantial surface that you could put your kit on top of anyway so you don't have to necessarily raise the floor you've earn to have these in now this one here this this is the stacker XL it's a bit separate to to these in that it's designed to go with the the van vault to that Andy was looking at earlier this goes underneath that you stick the bum ball on top so you've got the one with the lid on top and that bolts to this so you've got a draw and one you can go from the top so that's a good option you could even if you want it too similar to these put them back to back so you can get one from the front the back of your vinyl one from the side loader it's totally up to you there's there's options with the mobi the small wand and the different size is so however you've racked your van out or heavy usual van you can probably get a van vaal little suit that we use it now the coolest thing I've heard today about this one is when they test them when they're trying to break into them they do five-minute tests on each thing like they'll try and drill the lock out they'll try and get a crowbar in they'll do whatever they can for five minutes and in over 40 minutes they couldn't get into these so just shows you how secure they are so yeah if you're thinking of getting a abandoned vaults or a van a storage box it's not a bad show so the stack off the top of this you can see nice big surface you don't have to go up the raised floor on top you can use it as you surface you don't have to put these together you can put on top of that one you could have two of them and then two of these on top you could put that on top of there it's totally up to you oh you do it the only thing you gotta be wary of is the weight of your vehicle I've got two of these in my van both fully loaded emptied at night and my van isn't over the weight limit so although they are I think they're about 60 kgs really sturdy well-made don't take your van to the limit and I'll call that metal Bob working in as well so you know there's quite a lot in there but it don't take me over the limit but yeah you can do pretty much where the configuration you want if you wanted you can't backed or facing that way now you know it's totally up to you all you want to do to this is the staff right so what you mentioned you before so you basically dock for draw and a top loader there's pre-made prefab cake holes in this so you can join these together you get fixings come with it so you can bolt this to this and then this one will bolt to the floor can we get the same key for this and this so if you wanted to get the same key to match this drawing this they come as a pair again so you could do that if you've got the room in your van it's quite good option ready to have a draw and the top stacking system and you're not limited to just one slider you can have two three drawers a size you want to stack them up I think you can get keys in two pairs so if you wanted to have three drawers and there's you don't all the same key what do you think can you can you turn that round be the other side yes if you were let's say you wanted to map this in the middle of your van and you wanted to get to the draw from the side lower you could turn that round so you got to this from the back pretty much the options up to your imagination so talking about all the tests they do to make sure the level of security of the different phone calls all these certificates right on the edge of reach of the sizes on the bump up to the slide of the slim slider they've all been through the tests they get a certificate and then that gives them a secure by design which is a police sort of approved a certification for the products to show you just how secure they are some of the innovations that we've made over the last 21 years on the van bolt start off is original one [Music] catch your tools nice and safe or the lock on the top so moved on five years and went to this one we call it the van vault so the best seller in the range and then we moved on to this one you just come out you can see that it's been chopped away to make it easy right so that was the new range of van volts I hope you saw or got some useful information from that video we try the pro 3 and I think it's called the cents so if you don't know what this is we all fit system filters or we all should be really fitting system filters on our boilers now the latest one from ad and you'll recognize it because it looks like the standard Pro - I'll grab that now I'm not 100% sure on the details of this I read off the box so it's a Wi-Fi enabled magnetic filler it can predict potential system problems and offers preventative maintenance provides recommendation services to have led light functionality indicating leg level of magnetite capture and you can use an app to monitor it ok so it's exactly the same as as the old one isn't it you know like I said spin that out you've got your magnet same as usual obviously split that so you clean it quite easily yeah a battery over there officer so you've got your batteries to keep it up and running right so if you're not seeing them before same as a pro - same size same footprint it'll fit on a and the push fit this bit on the front here so it's got a couple of batteries in there and it looks like an LED indication there which I think will flash up with different colored lights depending on how much crap is collected in this and then you connects to an app so you can look on your phone anywhere in the country at this specific house to see how their systems going on do we need that's something like that I've heard about this and and thought about I mean sometimes customers don't even actually you know know about filter so you have to you know enlighten them you know explain some educate them about what was gonna deal with the film today you sort of have to sell it you do have something sometimes you can lose a quote just by you know the hundred quid that you putting on for them I mean what are they liking in price range with the ordinary I think now don't quote me this will be about a hundred and sixty quid it's over 130 160 quid so if you compare it to your standard Pro - it should be about 80 quid 90 quid with the chemicals fight twice it's not double but it's significantly more see you know you've just pretty in front of me there and I don't know anything about it I know the ad stills really good and we all know that you know the innovative and they're coming out with new stuff I mean we'll do you think this will be something that everybody laughs in ten years time and this chat will be sort of irrelevant or do you think he'll be fly-by-night it's just a one-off it's for the technical geeky type blokes who want that kind of stuff I mean my personal opinion I have not feared one yet is it's not going to replace your standard magnetic fool because why would you need the functions this has got on your standard job it might be a job in a rental property it might be good Oh counsel yeah if you are you know you know Housing Association or your own lots of properties or you know kind of stuff you don't really you know if anybody who's got more than let's say ten properties and they and the pretty clued up a lot of the guys I know just want you know the landlord's have got the cheapest cheapest cheaper so I don't think that they'd be really looking for ya spending it's not gonna replace your standard filter' but like with anything like this now the technology is available now you know you can get this you might in the back here be thinking all that one job I did that time this would have been great there or when you go to quote for a new job you might think hang on we could use that here and in those instances it would come into its own yeah and the other thing I thought about was this indicator light here when it gets into the red if the customers seeing that it might prompt them to get their boiler service which of the mini as we know when you go to quote for a boiler or one this one has got 10-year warranty okay lawful yeah that's this this this and this will do the job and you have a 10 year warranty on this board I'll ask great okay when you soon as you finish come where the warranty details please yeah yeah okay yeah game over to you that's that and you will never hear from again I'll never get it serviced so they lose the warranty instantly yeah the other thing with that sinus stuff is that we along with you know we come in to sell our boilers nowadays out before you know we're going for longevity well you know we've got a warrant to do a 12 and 13 years that kind of stuff but obviously you've got a you know to maintain those warranties you go obviously yeah so me as a as a business man I can see that that's quite good for my business because I'm a service y'all buy there every year every 12 months I'm ringing you up and come and do it alright he's so for you the extra let's say this is an extra 50 quid yep for the extra 50 quid if you get a yearly service every year just because of those little lights on there reminding the customers times get the border serviced yeah would you say it would be worth it or would you still say it was only for certain jobs I think that personally thinking about it right now for me it's for you know the we've all got as little combis walks where you've got to do a cheap job or you know it's landlord that castle I don't think this is for them I think that where this lends its mind so is the people who are a bit more checking the people who like saving with the greeny people the highlights and where you know they want to save the end of the day it's monitoring the system health which is the official but I mean if it's been installed correctly and you've flushed all the bits of rubbish out there shouldn't really be a lot in there floating around should the really you know if you're doing your job properly in the first place then you know I mean a lot of people now are saying you know should you actually put chemicals in your systems and it's like pie in the sky again and one time you have to do it now we're all thinking what should we do so yeah I certainly got a place yeah it certainly got a place and I was expecting it to be more expensive than that's prefer that was to it all about size of it because it meets literally just a little box on the front I like the size as it got I'm the other be the next is still got the valve yeah that's exactly the same as the pro too but it's got this in the front I think it looks like needs it to be fair I think neaten the up a lot yeah it's nice and cool ease a bit more sort of simplicity and what was gonna say so the other thing is if people start buying them then obviously the price will come down the more they sell yeah yeah but you know wherever this will be in the few the in the future this will be sort of standard that you'll see on all your jobs but for now it's probably just an option to everything and it's in its infancy is always up for debate isn't it because nobody knows what the future is gonna hold yeah but it looks really good back yeah i me know if you can see you know how well made it is it's the kind of thing you'd probably fit in your own house to store monitoring system well like I said we all know how good they are you know the ad stuff is you know top-notch season if you know that and and it looks really well-made but yeah I mean I again pull the batteries out got to keep out the problem I'm gonna fit in my dad's house no now I've water your toilet there was any charging $200 yeah so if we get the suite should we do things like this should we say we'll give it yes thumbs up or thumbs down or maybe or I think it hit miss or maybe for how to do on that music show so to sum up for me I think it's good that companies are doing innovations like this wherever it's needed at the minute but saying that to know it's out there if I do need it then it's available to me I think it's good I could probably think of one or two jobs where yeah it'd be good if I could monitor other systems get on there and especially for me the sort of lights here to remind the custom of it's time to get the boiler serviced it's probably a good thing so I'm gonna say sort of maybe to a hit in the future so um I'll give it here I'll give it talking to me alright so I'm I mean again you know I've come across these before but not I've never looked at one I've never everyone out of the box I think they look really really really well made I mean really well made because there are some crappy filters out there it looked really well made mostly thought about it they've thought about you know how to save the boilers and all the components inside the boilers by you know one fitting a filter and two giving you the chance to be able to see how it's working I always thought they should make a fill with this see-through underfloor heating my palms yeah they go a bit TARDIS down here so yeah I mean for me I can certainly see having a place in the market and that's probably the top end of the market so yeah it's a hit for me I think I want to go for it was two hits then I think I'm right on the price I think I don't want to get it wrong but if you say a hundred or sixty quid and for the the pro-free this isn't a chemical packaging I don't know if they do a chemical pact about that see that's the pro free so I saw first everyone little lamb we should call that section Safari in this as newness it miss or maybe bit miss our Maggie what's the funniest job you've ever done I did a job for us and the guy let me in and I was there to fix the toilet so I said can I go to the bathroom he said yeah so what's the bathroom door was open so Wall Street and his wife was on the toilet pants around her ankles sound the tour Avenue smart beam up in a we know she was having his smell so I went bright red turned on me it was went down the stairs and I stood at the bottom of the stairs of maquette by waiting and it's a way and I had a flushing it about two minutes later I heard a flush it and then she went off in the bedroom and then I went up opened a wind-up fix the toil and then I went on I could just imagine the bollocky not blow got my left yeah I'd like to think he didn't know his missus was on the toilet but well I'm gonna go with this one right it might be a bit too for this book we went working on the job and we walked in and the lady was up the stairs we couldn't see her because of the bulkhead on the stairs so was in the morning and so she bent down like that and she was talking to us and we were at the bottom of the stairs me my pal yeah I were looking up and you could see straight open Agra so it's a straight way you said sorry move let me stop you though you can see me nitrous no she carried on chatting and we were like mortified by it all and then guess what you filmed on your phone the husband came in the front door and we stood at the side of us anyway love they can see up and so she stood up really quick like that and so yeah we started off that job people it'll be embarrassing to start with I did what did I do so I went to swap animation Etan so you've got that hunky 3d stay agents open the door taking some care and got the O's on come back down the stairs there was a cat stood outside the door I thought out I've let the cat out so I spend about 45 minutes trying to round this cat off right it was it took me ages anyway in the end I got the cat back in and I kept it in the kitchen and did the job then locked up made sure I was all right at left I got a call about five o'clock from the tenon saying no I got text sad done the job it's all working fine and I actually put on the text I had a write game I let the cat out I had a write game getting it back in and she talks back I've not got a cat anyway she text me when she got back later that night had all in our house won't our cat they were trapped in the house she's everywhere well I've got a good one because you've said cats yeah I asked this guy on the apprentice and we work in this house and you haven't quite a bit of renovation and we were fixing the boiler so anyway it's up on the stairs retentive you know paint so he knocks you over so the penguin on the carpet it was new yeah no I'm gonna do so he put the paint back up and then he went and got the cat and put the cat's paw prints in the pain and then let the cat go he went to the customer said you cats just got the fake ones just a boy well we hope you've enjoyed the first one
