Playing The OLDEST Version Of X-Plane

so guys welcome back to another Swiss 0:01 video they actually thought of a more experimental video and that will be trying a really really old version of explain so I was recently scrolling through explain and I found this page download older versions and here we got X plane ten X plane nine explained eight and all that and I thought is there an explained one and I found this here so I clicked on that and we have very old versions down to version 5 from 2002 but actually the first one is 2001 like that is super exciting so this is the earliest explained version that you can download the first version of X plane came out in 1997 I guess but again you ER when I tried to open explain 5.6 from 2001 um it didn't quite work as you can see I hope it captures it and as you can see it's it's just totally breaking in so that doesn't seem to work out when I tried to launch explain 6 um it did work so let's do that 240 or 5 megabytes oh that's that is so cute so let's launch explain 650 all right we have to live with with a resolution right now that kind of adds something to the retro feel so that's alright all explained version 6 you know that font is super ugly oh so we have a lot of airports to choose from actually that's definitely global uh so here we can choose an airport that's just choose San Bernadino this whole segment is the weather all right so as you can see we are playing a demo I'm pretty sure you can't buy it these days anymore so we have to like a load the game after six minutes but here we are oh my god in a 747 I guess okay full throttle full throttle oh yeah - control the best thing ever yeah I should connect the joystick but you know here why am i rolling okay come on no this up the nose is up that nose is up the nose we are airborne we're in the air alright gear up damn this looks good remember this launch in 2002 I mean you know the the cockpit is pretty bad [Music] we have to scratch hidden Birk airships and explain where inertia we are in an airship oh my god oh I actually can't show this on youtube because actually I'm uploading videos from Germany and that will result in to me getting sued we have like reasonable scenery we have some 3d building taxi lighting this looks like MSX Team Edition I'm um I'm honest here I'm just honest the scenery is still better than today's infinite flight surprisingly we have a lot of airplanes to choose from no let's not we have to Concord I'm in a Concorde okay full throttle come on oh yeah oh yeah yeah let's choose the triple 7 it's kind of floating around a bit here Oh [Music] we can approach an aircraft carrier or we can sink rate they like those are this they kept the sounds and explained eleven we're a little fast and let's try to get that thing butter come on come on wish me luck [Music] what else do we have here sad polenta to Mars we can go to Moore's so apparently we are on Mars and we can we take off I guess that doesn't work out alright we're now approaching Long Beach the scenery is actually not too good like we have some included buildings here and we have just crashed so guys thanks for watching this video hope enjoyed and please subscribe leave a like would be greatly appreciated goodnight everybody [Applause]
