Planet of Lana - FULL GAME - with Commentary!

hello everybody Welcome to a brand new game on the channel called planet of Atlanta I was just intrigued by this it came across Xbox PC game pass I thought this looks fun let's give it a shot and see what's about it's a side scrolling game from what I can tell from the pictures I'm going in as I always do with these games completely blind and that's the way I kind of like it like if I need help as we go if there's a puzzle or something like that if that's even this kind of game which I do not know but if there is then I can look that up if I need to but I like to go in and experience everything for the first time okay [Music] [Music] all right well looks like we're we're working here you can do a little movement here oh a little jumping action okay cool this is Ladder nope not a ladder okay and I can go back okay cool I was just intrigued whenever I saw this come across like these look like really interesting cool graphics okay that was a fall yeah I meant maybe you're supposed to jump I don't even know and I can't move foreground or background at all so it seems like it's only left or right no other button seems to do anything as far as talking to that dude [Music] okay can I talk to anyone here no it's just left and right okay cool uh okay there's a little Crouch button all right makes sense so we'll do a little crouching action here and probably a jump here yeah there we go jump pull yourself up that's cool [Music] oh big jump okay big jump all right all right cool so where are we heading oh oh okay oh man I I kind of thought I would just like get another crack at that but no we're here uh how do I get out of here can I go up can I crawl out of the boat I no I can't I think maybe I was supposed to do that maybe to show that there's some swimming action here none of the other buttons are let me look there's a ladder right there but it's not letting me get it so I'm gonna have to just swim along this path and see what I'm supposed to do over here okay she's still up there now is it gonna help me get out of the water here let's see oh there I just pulled myself off okay so maybe it just didn't want me to pull myself out on the other boat cool this is cool I'm into this art Direction it's a very very cool looking game all right oh she's looking she's looking with the cleaver too with the cleaver of all things too look again she is so don't get caught okay don't get caught don't get caught by the very first person oh she saw me I accidentally let go of L I accidentally like a LT okay let's try this again oh no oh she looked okay there we go okay we made it cool all right so there is a a bit of a redo situation if you if you get kind of mess up that's fine and go up this direction here this is cool oh no I forgot to jump a guitar it's kind of hard to tell when the ground stops being in front of you there just a little bit isn't it a little bit jump okay didn't couldn't make that jump okay that's fine scary Pig over there I don't know if there's combat in this game I don't really know anything about it at all but I'm intrigued so that's enough for me honestly checking out our little fishing Village sort of situation here with this beautifully painted landscape really looks like a bob rice Bob Ross painting [Music] I don't think there yeah there's not a sprint button it's just Crouch and jump those are my only available actions as of yet I don't know if I'm gonna get like a sword or Shield or something like that or maybe this is just a walking exploring game and I if it is I'm okay with that too to be honest I think that's going to be a pretty darn fun all right let's see can you jump on top of this Barrel yeah I can okay cool oh oh I can't get up there I you know what that though I bet I can push this card let's see if I can can I push this thing oh X ah get I'm pressing the wrong button X oh okay oh I can drag it this way okay that's cool cool nice nice it's getting to be dark too and I don't know I don't know some games oh some games like oh darkness is bad but I don't know if there's one of those or not I love me I love going into these things blind very fun okay we're going into some sort of cave which is cool you know I I I'm so ignorant I'm not even really sure if these people are speaking a foreign language to me or if it's just like gibberish because I can't even really tell what the girl is saying to me [Music] is that maybe like the gravestones of our parents maybe are we siblings [Music] could be I mean see it feels that way feels like maybe we're siblings and maybe that is uh the tombstone maybe of our of our folks foreign that'd be a very video game uh uh video game storyline wouldn't be I think so [Music] we're gonna head up here I it would be intriguing if this game had like a story that's told entirely through just like graphics and sort of gibberish sort of sounds that would be really interesting to me what does that sound wind or something more Sinister I don't know oh there's oh something oh look look oh oh no what's what's coming through the sky these are like uh like Landing capsules or something it's not it's not asteroids those are clearly man man-made something what could it be oh gee oh no oh no that's a cage that 100 is okay oh no There Goes My hypothetical sister oh man oh man that is that's not great that's not great at all okay then um well where are we going wait well it went to the right but I mean am I just gonna go backwards or is there maybe can I is this a jump off oh uh no game over I'm dead okay okay that didn't that didn't work at all we'll head back uh we'll go to the right then in that in that case I wish there was a sprint button because walking I mean jogging I guess it's not really walking it's a jog it's a jog we'll jog this direction I these beautiful beautiful trees with the beautiful windy animation the whole thing just looks great let's go we gotta catch up to my uh I'm just gonna call it call it my sister unless I hear otherwise oh look there goes another one oh they might be going to that or our fishing Village they might be capturing all of our friends or something here hurry up you gotta Crouch faster my guy he Crouch faster Atlanta I think Atlanta right it's the land the planet of Lana so I assume that this person's name I'm pretty sure oh geez okay back oh here oh it can crouch in The Tall Grass aha okay I can crouch on the talkers that's cool hurry up and Crouch okay all right now I've been playing I've been playing um Horizon uh Horizon zero something I've been playing that game and there's a lot of crouching and Tall Grass there so I am I am all about knowing how to crouch and Tall Grass to hide from those mecco dinosaur things so oh look at this look look what's here oh no there's smoke over there too oh no I hope the aliens have not uh obliterated our village maybe it's a good thing oh it's a good thing I'm swimming under this thing I can't Crouch under what is that what does that sound does that sound searching or is that just music yeah I don't know which oh no oh no oh no no no there's the there's another alien ship caption capturing our people oh man oh oh boy now I'm gonna guess if I'm captured I'll just sort of phase back to where it was I'm not I'm not really sure I I don't know how deep this building is either because I got to stay away from that oh I gotta say oh geez okay yelling for me oh no oh no this is just horrible they're taking all of my friends and family relatives oh boy oh boy I don't know if I can how can I stop this I have nothing I have nothing I have no no weapons or or anything like that [Music] and all I can do is run and Crouch oh geez okay [Music] it turns this way I'm done there we go okay okay I want to try to get here on top there we go okay I've made it up there we'll try it looks like I got another I don't think I I oh that thing's walking oh man this is this is so terrible but also so cool and the art in this is so fantastic I mean it's kind of like breath of the wild art right from like I've never really played breath of the wild but from oh okay wait wait X oh I can oh oh I can what I can break the wall can I break the wall anywhere or just here that's kind of cool I'll go and run jump nope can't jump crawl okay that's fine oh there's another one over there wait till it turns away it's looking this way luckily its eyes are extremely highlighted okay there we go and they're run better jog slowly okay there we go again go again go go go go go go go you gotta get under that thing before it turns around okay did I make it oh it didn't make it it saw me at the very end it saw me it might be chasing me oh man I need a Sprint I need a sprint button and I don't have one I do not have a sprick button but I need one okay we're swimming somehow we avoided that that All-Seeing Eye sort of monster here can we go this way get up here get up on top of this oh maybe I can maybe I can use that that okay can I pull it yeah I can okay very slowly but I mean this is not completely unrealistic it's really hard to pull nailed boards up oh and there's creepy things up there that's fun are they gonna eat me okay there we go and look if I know anything about games this rope I'm gonna go up the Rope there we go oh oh I made it cool okay I didn't think I did all right and then I can't make this but I can't make this yet I really really like this sort of animation of of uh getting up these up these little little jumps it's pretty pretty darn realistic I like it a lot all right so we're headed this way and try to get out of this out of this cave uh uh okay it looks fairly safe I don't see any of these uh Alien people Harvesters and look at the size of the Moon up there or I mean who knows for my knowledge about this game maybe I'm on the moon and maybe that's actually a a planet maybe that's the main Planet I don't know if it is it is freaking huge honestly kind of looks like a gas giant doesn't it looks like maybe we're on a moon surrounding or you know orbiting a gas giant possibly I'm getting very sad I'm getting very sad about everyone I know has just been collected by aliens or something or robots or machines you know hello [Music] [Music] [Music] all right well I think we're back I slept the night away on this rock when there's really comfortable grass and dirt just right over there but I guess we prefer the cold hard slab of rock okay fine so we're gonna head out here and I guess I mean I'm assuming we're trying to find our our family I guess I was gonna say our parents but I think I think we found our parents I think they're yeah I thought well I think we found their their gravestones well this is Cliff it's gonna be too high for me to get back so once I go down here it's a one-way trip all right let's head over this direction and see what we can see I I mean man gorgeous gorgeous art Direction landscape the whole bit this is fantastic absolutely [Music] oh some sort of creatures over there in the tree it's like uh living cantaloupes I doubt that's what they are exactly but who knows I could be I could be right possibly maybe I should have jumped and tried to grab them I don't know I don't know I didn't really think about it I guess I should probably show oh I can jump here yeah okay got it and then let's jump again okay made it oh I was like holding my breath like I was really jumping in real life okay and we'll head over oh man this way this is fantastic Fanta I haven't played a side score game in a really really long time I I'm excited about you know I've talked before about I got a capture card for uh switch and about once some things change in life come up here fairly soon oh oh oh vicious Beast or her friendly I'm gonna guess vicious Beast honestly because I'm hiding in the I'm hiding from it anyway like I said I got a capture card for switch so I do plan on uh working um on switch games coming up in the near future within uh within probably three or four months probably making switch a a main focus of this channel along with still the Xbox PC game pass and all that kind of stuff but but yeah there will be definitely some more side scrolling action for different games I definitely want to play like breath of the wild I want to play the new Zelda game but I never played breath of the Lost I'm gonna do breath of wild first and and just explore this good because I just for honestly I just never did and I think it's just a perfect time oh boy there we go jump that was close that was close I I was nervous let's head over this direction and see what we can find hopefully we can track down I don't know someone to give us some information though I don't know if there's gonna be a dialogue in this game or not it looks like we're just finding some abandoned stuff can I climb this this no I cannot play with ladder I mean that looks sure enough oh oh there's a lift okay so maybe I can drag this onto there and what would I do with that exactly oh I know you know maybe I can drag this over to here oh no no grab it okay can I pull it the whole way over to this it might that might well that's gonna get me somewhere but I don't I don't know exactly where let's bring up the hallway over here and then I can I guess jump up to this lift probably oh there we go pull that down now what now that I did that now what can I can I jump over this direction yeah I can okay let's see if I can get up here okay I can okay uh you know I might need to do is here I might need to grab these boards can I get these Boards out of the way maybe I just need to drag it all the way off oh yeah I can okay well I didn't take any damage thankfully okay so there we go so now we can drag this over here and now why would I want to do that exactly that I'm not totally sure um hmm that's gonna oh I can drag both at the same time Okay so let's see let me drag this over to here and see if I can maybe this this is what I need to do this is some sort of puzzle or something so we'll we'll jump onto there and then I'm going to jump onto here and see if I can pull this down with my own weight no I can't ah but I can now make this okay there we go that's a cool little puzzle all right cool so now we're we've found a way to get up up on top of this uh next elevation oh look there's another alien oh don't see me alien [Music] there's no tall grass for me to hide on at all [Music] um I can't see anything do I take the leap [Music] am I dead is that the end I think I'm dead oh man okay so all right oh you know maybe we need to try maybe I need to come here I just oh there there is ground I can just barely see ground okay oh man can I grab this uh no I can't get it hmm how am I going to get past this this uh this Beast [Music] there's there's no uh is it gonna chase oh you know what I may have been on the right track there I just wasn't quite fast enough okay so I might have an idea here so let's try this let's go down so he sees me [Music] ah what the heck man okay let's try again okay uh fortunately I don't think I have a set number of lives so we can try this how many times we want get up get up get up yes now run yeah he hit his head he's all stunned go go go go go go and jump yes baby that's how you do it two puzzles done that was fun okay next uh oh I can't make that jump darn it okay uh luckily I must have just ankles and knees of Steel because I don't know why I'm not taking any damage there but I'm not all right and then how many this thing does this come out as like a timed event or something no oh this ah okay so I need to have something touch that alien thing so there must be oh geez for current look really um am I gonna just drag it sleeping I'm dragging is sleeping uh I don't know what these things are called we're just gonna call them uh wildebeest let's call it a sleeping wildebeest and we'll bring it right over here I uh okay I guess that's gonna work okay cool huh get up on this alien weird fungus looking sort of thing cool okay all right that's not exactly how I expected that to go but that thing was very very tired it was very passed out oh what do I hear ominous sounds oh boy all right uh I don't know let's let's get it let's get down here because I don't like the way this is starting to sound might sound maybe there's one of those alien ships coming down again to get me we'll head through here I um okay now what okay this is this technology does not seem to be long with the rest of what I have seen thus far is this alien technology oh that's a trap [Music] oh man do I should I rescue that Mouse thing whatever it is hmm well I could try let's see what does this thing do I I can look at can I okay I can't spin okay that's gonna let him out there you go go for freedom cool ah I don't want to get myself in it that's for sure okay well I don't know all right well I rescued one but oh but I can't get there [Music] can I can I grab this thing I wonder hmm I wonder can I do anything else with this I can bring it down now can I grab it now that it's closed I wonder can I move this thing over a little bit yeah I can okay I can slide this over and then all right let's kind of kind of high up okay and then we'll try to we'll raise it up a level and see if I can get up to that upper that upper jump Point okay there we go that looks pretty good as long as I don't uh don't get me okay I'll just jump up in the air there to get away from it okay and then I don't sense there's a timer okay cool all right we did it I don't know where I'm going still I guess I mean the aliens are all flying left to right on screen so I guess I'll just keep on heading to the right here I'll follow this mouse maybe this mouse has an idea could be intelligent I don't know I don't know anything about this planet oh boy I hear alien sounds very deep in the background what are you doing big jump here big jump okay yep still following the mouse thing all right let's go let's go Mouse the Hellboy there's tall there's tall shrubs sometimes when there's tall shrubs that means hey uh you better be able to hide here there we go all right cool thankfully people left ropes hanging maybe who knows maybe this is a way that my people from my little fishing Village like often go I cannot tell you how many times I've tried to move the camera and with the right joystick and that that didn't help oh geez okay okay well before we move on oh man did you hear that that is gonna break that that wood is like it must be very old it's gonna break uh but there is no way that I can see up there I don't think like shimmying up do I need to break it can I break it maybe I can't I thought for sure that like this would be the way to go all right so let's try up here is there maybe if I there we go okay okay aha nice all right we'll head over this direction and see oh creepy stuff in the shadows I don't like that at all unless it just happens here in which case it's really nice atmosphere but I don't like if they're going to attack me that's for sure okay there's one and let's grab another one [Music] cool all right all right let's keep on going trying to find okay is it gonna help me it is it is gonna help me it must be some sort of intelligent intelligent life if it's trying to get me to sort of come this way and waiting until I see him to push it down lookie as if he wants to you know he wants me to know that he's helping so that could that could possibly be it um it's a very different kind of landscape we've gone quite far to uh let's call it East I don't know to the right okay now the camera's falling way back showing hey uh there's this rock um I don't know why the camera would pull so far back is it trying to show me something like should I try should I check down here no I thought I was gonna slide down that little area there well darn it that that I I couldn't tell I couldn't tell that that wasn't that wasn't connected I thought I was going to slide down that little thing maybe to an opening or something all right fine fine all right let's keep on going this this way I don't think that that is that is blameable on me I I couldn't I couldn't tell that that wasn't connected well hopefully we can find some some sort of answers here or something I don't know that's another looks like another another kind of puzzle coming I'm not gonna get a jump off this so I hope falling is okay because that's what's gonna happen oh geez oh boy oh my friend my friend is gonna get oh we got trapped again my friend got trapped by that thing how's that thing leaving is it leaving or is just looking the other way for a second I need to go way over there to the right to figure out how to get him I think can I make the jump from the top of this thing I'm gonna I'm gonna drop down here and wait until he turns all the way so I get the full amount of time so I'll wait until he's gonna come over here he's gonna come over here and look I'm in the tall grass so he can't see me and as soon as he turns away I'm going for it and try to get up to that upper platform there we go oh you know what that's not gonna work I have to move the cage I bet let's wait we'll wait we'll wait and we'll go again I'm gonna have to try to grab the cage and move it further over there to the right this might take me two sort of Cycles to get all right let's see can I grab it yeah I can slide over this way and then hurry get back get back to the Tall Grass down okay just in time oh my goodness just barely enough time okay wait one second and ready and go get up here get up here go go go pull yourself up oh just bear oh just made it okay now I'm gonna have to wait until it is not looking to free my friend there we go oh wow what a jumping oh it saw it though it figured it out oh geez oh throw me the Rope it's coming throw me the rope man uh it can't fit through there okay so I think I'm okay oh well it's a good though it was just like what 30 minutes ago I don't remember exactly what everything looked like this feels like a nightmare more than a dream I don't know could it be that is this gonna be the afterlife could I have could I have fallen off that cliff and and be dead it was a dream it was a dream this is this is real because this looks like the landscape from when I took the jump so yeah I'm I am quite unconscious at this moment let's take a drink while mouse cat tries to wake me up come on me am I am I bad is that the end of the game am I come on mouse cat do your job wake me up no I'm moving my arm oh I'm awake certainly broken lens right nope just a just a concussion I don't think I've ever had a concussion so maybe that's the kind of dream you you see when you have a concussion I it's you and me going going here trying to find a trying to find a family I might need to guide you to get you through certain areas with those aliens here maybe mouse cat can you make that jump oh yeah you certainly you can jump further than me so I guess you can all right don't mind me mouse cat we're gonna we're gonna try to find some sort of air oh what is that oh just Tall Grass it scared me it scared me because I didn't think it was Tall Grass I thought it was oh man Nisha stopped and regained my balance it's like whenever you land you kind of you kind of double over just a little bit there so it wasn't sure if I could do kind of a fast double jump there a little little land bridge there the uh the moon or the gas giant planet or whatever is there in the background looking so so tiny tunnel that it can fit in that I can't fit in let's give it let's give it a gender so I can say instead of it how about uh she so let's give it let's hope that she can fit through this little sort of tunnel that I can't fit through so we'll go over here and I'm gonna grab these boards and unpry them uh-huh it's really nice that you only do it twice and not all three times and now come on there you go okay I just want no I just know Emma no I know that's not what I meant I just tried to jump off the Rope okay there we go all right follow me to somewhere I don't know where like follow me to somewhere who knows we'll see I I like these little uh these little little puzzles very cool okay L and RT oh oh I can tell where to go is that is that what's Happening Here oh oh maybe I can't here maybe I can tell where to go yeah okay I can oh that's cool hmm oh there we go I can tell to go up there go up there yeah yeah okay that's cool now why there we go following Direction even though you did this exact move all by yourself but okay still cool that you can follow all these different commands it's very intelligent mouse cat I assume oh wait is it no I mean come on come with me is it running yeah okay cool all right so let's say is it is she is she running is she running we'll head over over this direction here and uh oh boy another enormous jump uh hmm is there any I wonder if there's anything mouse cat can do to uh to bridge this that would help me if if she got to the other side because I am L if I press l ma now I'm gonna oh I can drop down oh oh there we go okay the tutorial continues very nice now mouse cat can you just come yeah you can jump super far okay you have no issues at all come on let's go mascot they've already taken all of my people from my oh hello what is that okay is that something that I need to know about I am thinking yes but I sure don't know what uh where do we want to do I want to go up or down uh it's telling me that I should probably go down but let's see let's see what's what's up [Music] I guess it doesn't seem to really matter I don't think there's anything I can do up there no there's nothing really I can jump over there so Warhead I guess just down I guess I could have just done that to begin with but okay it's fine and maybe that's to see oh I thought that went through but it did not okay then chain can I get up there no I can't oh hello okay nope what the heck is this it's trying is it following me okay is it trying to eat me okay so that thing showed that showed me that one of those little no no no no no [Music] huh okay so okay so this is gonna I'm gonna figure this out so this thing is definitely I feel like it's reaching out trying to get me so once I get close to it what happened is it gonna get I almost wanna let it get me once just to know uh hey oh it just ate mouse cat okay so it's not after me it's after my my good friend mouse cat so that's not good mouseka I need you to stay oh wait a second wait a second that's how that's how I'm gonna get I'm going to get this thing to move okay so maska you come with me and I will figure out how to make this thing stop trying to get you but come on come on Mouse guy you need to go over there uh there you go now then you stay okay good no it's just gonna stare at mouse cat because it wants to eat lunch it wants to eat lunch I want to see my good friend okay so what we're gonna we're gonna leave mascot over there and then I'm going to come over here and jump up to this thing and try to make this fairly big leap but I don't think there's a really a way to stop it sort of halfway oh yeah it is okay there we go now mouse cat um can you come with me can you make it without getting eaten I hope oh you can yeah no issue at all you can okay cool all right well that was fine that was really cool I like that a lot let's head over this direction see what is next so what's uh what's this um I'm having trouble getting there we go okay okay all right that was easy that felt a little too easy maybe that's just what was maybe just supposed to show oh wait mouse cat what I didn't I don't think I told you to stop but maybe perhaps I did so now it's telling me again I'm gonna hold and tell it to go to that and that's going to trigger this okay yeah it is okay now I should be able to jump up here and grab it I did I assume once I get up here I can tell it to uh tell mask I tell her to just jump up this whole way I bet she can yeah no problem okay cool okay the puzzles are getting a little bit more complex still not super hard but uh interesting very interesting puzzle mechanics which I I I like a lot I'm a big fan of uh interesting mechanics now uh mouse cat I'm thinking what we need you to do is we need you to go we need you to go um I thought I need you to go over there but oh there okay there's oh it's too far it's too far hmm huh why can't do I need to get ray up to the edge okay not great not great not great I went a little too far it's just the side scores is just a little bit hard to tell exactly where you're sort of last last safe foot place is kind of you know so okay so let's try this now I can only go this far okay but hmm there's no way I can make that jump there's just no way I'll try once but uh no okay oops dead again okay so I cannot make that jump for sure so how am I gonna get uh mascot to go stand over in there because mascots could certainly make the jump no issue at all but maybe oh okay okay what is this maybe can we go can I can I do it this way what's this can you go in that hole oh you can you're aha through that little rabbit hole sort of situation okay now you stay right there I hear always sitting so I don't think you'll move okay you stay right there and I'm gonna do a big jump here and there we go and then I can say okay now come on you can make that jump I believe yeah you're okay cool oh man I walked off that thing just oh boy I almost just dropped you into the void very interesting this is a cool storyline I mean it's amazing that this entire storyline is told without any words at all it's and yet I'm really understanding what's going on very very very very very life here because every time I get close to these tentacles they could always just snatch them up and you know that would make me super sad probably make Mal's got even sadder honestly but all right was pretty great all right we managed to get that that uh Bridge lifted up and now we can slide this over and I think that is probably all it takes to get me up to the very top level cool all right kabasi uh kielbasa that I that I bought just uh yesterday so I've been eating it and man it's an Italian style kabasi like like already cooked so I was just eating it like cold out of the grocery store oh man it's so good I didn't mean to fall there it's so delicious like it's all I could do to not keep eating it while I'm recording because it just tastes so incredibly delicious you want to look in the background this world it's clearly a jungle but clearly used to be something like more modern futuristic and stuff so it'd be really really nice to sorta uh you know learn learn more about it that'd be really cool I really would really enjoy that all right so we're gonna jump over here and come up here and then we're gonna come over this way there we go okay this is a little hard to see where the platforms are a little bit okay okay we're up on top of like it's like we're on top of a spaceship or something I don't know I don't know what I can't really can't really tell but something anyway maybe is this maybe the Earth in the Far Far Future and there's some alien organization or organ organizations yeah some alien organizations you know like uh uh the National Basketball Association the alien uh organisms is what I'm looking for is that's the word I'm trying to find yeah okay we're 100 in some sort of alien Shrine of some sort or something alien oh is this gonna tell down in now when Mouse gotta press the button it's going to let you get the water why would I want to do that I don't know yet but I'm thinking maybe once I get to the other side and maybe I will uh we'll find out maybe there's gonna be another monster but all I know is I just only have to press Y and that monster will die so that's good oh wow I did go underwater just for a second but immediately right back up okay now there's another one over here so okay [Music] I totally didn't mean to do that I just pressed the wrong button I was trying to press X and press y idiot I'm an idiot okay so here we'll bring this down I don't need to jump off the top of that I can just swim right across so we'll swim across I still don't really see why I would need to electrocute that unless maybe could I be turning on this enormous rotor in the background Maybe I don't know okay so we're gonna bring this thing down as well I guess there we go and then can I switch it I can that didn't work I right I think so okay come on Mouse let's go this is awesome I I if there are other games like this you gotta let me know if there are other games that are like this even if they're older or whatever you know let me know because I I'm very much enjoying this a lot especially the the I don't know like the yeah it's the right challenge does that make sense it's like it's not so hard that I need to Google like every step you know it's just it's just fun it's just a fun rewarding challenging game so jeez geez awesome jump all right so I think what we're gonna do is maybe we're gonna leave this here I kind of oh geez and I'm dead perfect place to leave why what the heck man I didn't mean to I thought for sure I could make that job we are in this enormous spaceship that crashed I guess I I'm not sure but it looks huge and there's oh there are robots here oh oh hold now hold now that robot has the same Circle that some of the evil robots have and it's holding cradling very gently I think a human baby skeleton very interesting okay so maybe the aliens were robots used to be sort of on our on our side are helpful to us and at some point well or at some point maybe are no longer I don't know I don't know the answers hopefully will come because I am I am all about finding out what exactly happened in this planet and you know it did did we did our people oh look okay here's the answers I'm looking for there are people it's not just an alien ship there are definitely people there's some skeletons looks like human human crew oh okay more answers human crew one of them looks like an e in equal crewmate with standing was an asteroid it was like a Android or robot or something ah okay we are learning a lot more about this world this game is absolutely blowing my mind I think it's one of the most interesting games I've ever played if you're enjoying it make sure to leave a like down there and uh I'll keep coming back for more of this this is fantastic I cannot believe what an amazing storyline they're telling all without any dialogue what okay what what the the robots are saluting me they're alive they're still they're still alive oh but when I when I take because I don't think I'm gonna need oh you know what I actually that's probably not true I'm gonna need I'm gonna need a boost I don't think I can get there all by myself so yeah I mean yes Mouse get you still stay there but I'm gonna have to move the the bridge to sort of give me a uh a boost a chance to make that jump so let's go over this way and move move my uh my stool that was a cool that was a cool puzzle and I did not look it up if you're wondering I was like yeah I think you you have your big your big cheater you looked at him I did not I did not look that up uh uh actually can I make this hmm I don't know if I can honestly uh that's a really high jump this may not be over I thought I figured it out but because I can't stop this thing from going down so um what am I gonna do how am I gonna get over there there's no way I can make this jump from here up to there zero percent chance so I don't know could I make it I could turn off power but I don't think that really necessarily helps so how could it get from myself is there maybe something else that mouse cat can do but I couldn't give her directions unless I don't know I don't know this puzzle's not over yet I need to get myself over there maybe if I put this right there could I make that jump I really don't think so I'm confident that I could not make that jump well I guess I could try once all right let's let's put it just as close to the edge as we possibly can okay let's try it once let's try I don't think this is going to work I don't think this is the right way to go but we'll try it one time and see I also don't think that turning off the power at this point necessarily helps but did I get it no not even really that close and there's no way I can jump with it okay so that's not great um huh well what's the next what's the next plan here I wonder it's got to be something could it be something to do with the power I don't think so I don't think so so how yeah I mean like I say I'm not I wasn't close to grabbing that bridge so having this extra little bit of of height is not really going to help I might need to I might need to think about this yeah okay I made it after just really a bunch of trial and error uh I finally made it and and the way I did is I didn't put the I put the crane way up there high and then let it fall and I just made a dash for it so it was possible but it was a real timing thing I'd like really really hurry so sorry I didn't catch you on camera but I I took probably 10 minutes of trying different things that was not all that exciting so I just stopped recording well I tried to work it out so I do apologize for that all right so let's see what's next in this amazing giant ship I I'm really convinced that this is some sort of like deep space like generational maybe a colony ship or a seed ship of some sort something like that I I really hope they continue to give us more answers as the game goes on because uh so far I am I am very intrigued okay back to the Jungle we made it out of the ship so interesting back to uh the jungle and that very likely means back to uh more more more horrible scary enemies okay look at that [Music] uh-huh see the circle just like the just like the the the crew just like the one crewmate right um you know maybe maybe used to be okay hello oh am I controlling this thing I am oh okay okay so sort of right mean this is this is a stunning achievement of video game I I am I I'm kind of speechless and that does not happen often to me but I cannot believe how much I am really enjoying this game I may I may slowly in those tentacles okay good to know and Incredibly lucky that I just barely made it I guess I need to like jump to get a good sort of Head Start through this technical I'm gonna do the same thing here but um what are these tentacles can I do anything with it oh they just eat me okay okay okay I see I I understand what that is now okay so um instead of that instead of that maybe I need one of those robots to come and kill this disgusting black tentacle stuff here we're after a sort of a Tarzan swing to get over this I think all right we'll stay down low so I can get the most sort of distance on my swing there we go okay not bad laughs can can yeah I was just gonna ask if mouse cat can make it and uh she can oh but there's another thing down here and I think I have to go I think I'm gonna have to go go uh do it I I can't imagine that things gonna be there unless there's a good reason because it's not like this game has tons of secret rooms or Collectibles or anything that I've noticed anyway I feel like um for the most part if something's here you gotta use it so now I have this thing which I can control uh this this one over here [Music] oh it does have legs the other end up being the answer but before I get to that I don't know can I I'm not sure if this is it or if I need to use the log more over sort of this direction I very well may where is mask oh Mouse cats are way over there okay so I'm gonna have to bring the log across these islands I think probably there's a there's an interesting yellow cord in in the past I've had to sort of use all the yellow mean maybe maybe they're just kind of out but doesn't feel like it you know it doesn't feel like it feels like they've been taken by these alien robot things whatever so uh hopefully you know can control this this uh thing there's one of those control boxes so how am I going to get that as soon as I stand on stand on this this controller thing right in front of me as soon as I step off of sure that we don't uh try to sort of cheat the system and go without our good friend and probably that's kind of like a level barrier right that's kind of like okay you passed the level if you can get to one of those things then I think you're uh basically into the next level maybe even another like biome but we've had a lot of diversity in this game like we've been jungle and Island and cave and spaceship really really cool really cool man I am such a fan okay we're heading oh we're heading to maybe another kind of cave like instead of a dark dreary cave maybe it's like like a jungle cave looks like there might be some even like wall paintings up here uh okay hey more oh I wasn't uh I didn't think that thing was gonna move it was there for a really long time okay well okay let's get let's get uh let's get mouse cat over here and control this thing okay oh I'm totally doing the wrong thing so I need to go up or down okay is this going to go maybe all the way down doesn't seem like the Batman Arkham games where when you're fighting like Scarecrow in like one of the dreams where he's like looking around the corner and you need to freeze and hide I love those games Someday I'm gonna give back to them I know they won't be you know old games don't get don't get necessarily views because first they've been there are tons and tons of of options to play those old games if you're so inclined uh to watch on YouTube and all that kind of stuff but um they're just such there's such good games good storyline the whole bit all right well I need to get through here I need to get my bring you over boy boy I'll tell you you have some serious Powers there mousekap but you know honestly if you wanted to add swimming to Your Arsenal of powers that would be really nice and convenient really close as soon as it starts moving I gotta go okay there we go go okay cool all right well again super close but we made it we made it through this uh sort of underwater jungle cave another puzzle down really cool this is you know in many it almost reminds me of Pitfall in many ways I know it's a jungle theme and all that kind of stuff but it does sort of feel like it a little bit like without with the swinging and the sort of atmosphere and the whole bit just love it let's bring this thing let's open up another area there we go on mouse cat come with me okay back to the tropical island setting that was really nice was it getting dark or rainy I can't really tell can't really tell there's some definitely some smoke and or fog or something there what's that is it smoke uh there's something overhead oh okay okay it's these enormous freaking scary awesome looking what are these robots it's amazing I mean that's amazing and so cool looking I mean terrifying and terrible of course as well but that's so cool wow wow man wow that is awesome I love during scenes like that there's nothing for anything going on so you can really just take in the scenery that's a really really well done sort of approach to the game too it's like let us just see it you know don't don't make me Dodge it or anything like that let me just look and sort of check it out right like I I love is you getting up there helpful at all to me yeah I don't really think so I don't know okay so so maybe that drone has to do something with that electrical wire thing that connector maybe it could so I assume that maybe you can't stand them okay I I had the idea that maybe the Drone could carry a mouse cat but it doesn't seem like that's the case or if it is I'm just I'm just missing exactly how that could happen I don't necessarily see it but what why couldn't I grab the one why couldn't I grab that that vine it was right there it's ridiculous all right let's go okay come on Mouse guy let's go over here and try to figure this out so I have to control the Drone to do something here and I just don't know what yet so let's figure out what this drone could possibly do I mean can't let record as much as I possibly can for for like a day or two and then nothing for like a day or two that's just sort of what how it works for my brain and to make things work so this is a between Destiny and Horizon zero Dawn this is about the like the fifth episode of recorded between very very early this morning and now I get up incredibly early in the morning my kids wake up around 6 30 or 7 at the latest every day so I get up it's often like three o'clock in the morning so I can record it with a silent house um so yeah so I I've been up for I got very very early and right now it's very it's like well it's like 1am uh so I didn't go to bed early tonight I actually stayed up so I've been recording a lot today but I'm gonna go watch some TV here in just a little bit let's try oh this area is is very creepy it's very creepy uh spider webs I think oh spider egg sacks over there for sure okay okay I 100 cannot jump through that Gap so game game are you gonna give me any hints hmm wow most part people really really like it but of course like always I fell in where I started reading some negative reviews and man I can't believe you'd play this game but like oh this game stinks so it's boring it's so good and Atmospheric and cool and the storytelling like yeah what's happening right now nothing but it's part of the atmosphere not to get on a big kick here but I one of the Star Wars channels that I really like on YouTube really didn't like the indoors like oh it's so boring it's so boring and like look everyone has their own opinion Everyone likes what they like and I get that but I gotta tell you I sometimes things need to be paced in a way that allows you to feel it for example this [Music] [Music] [Music] find my way [Music] home [Music] on the way home [Music] that was really cool that was really really really cool well the big thing is still just hovering just checking out the the land still changing through those colors oh still taking my people I guess apparently I'm not sure it's getting sad instead of really yelling for my sister I'm just sort of like hello I really feel like uh the weight of not finding her yet maybe setting in a little bit so it seems like we're in a bit of a desert level here a little bit of a desert biome we ran an incredibly far distance looks like there's some stuff in the background there maybe maybe some old technology from the people who crashed here originally perhaps it could be you know I had planned on recording Lego Star Wars day and I really have am enjoying playing that game a lot it's one of my favorite games ever but this has captured me this this game this planet of Atlanta has just captured my sort of imagination and it was the only thing that I could click on whenever I opened up the computer and sat down to record so I hope I hope it's capturing your imagination as much as it is is mine I mean oh oh hello I mean the puzzles are cool but to me uh just the atmosphere story idea of the game is is is where is that for me I'm really really enjoying this so I am going to try that's not gonna work is it I gotta get up to the roof get up come on come on come on mouse cat you gotta get up here okay okay did see me it did darn it all I went too far darn it all okay well very very fast fail in that particular one now we have to wait for it to come all the way across here aren't I well I guess the light off of that that that beast that's down under there and then hmm mouse cat I kind of thought you were gonna uh maybe do you need to get closer are you just a little bit too far away maybe I didn't feel like you were but okay let's put you a little closer go over there and I'll try again we'll bring this thing down and then let's see yeah there you go okay you were you were just a little meanwhile I'm like I'm so glad the puzzles aren't that hard so I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder but this game works for me and that's honestly that's enough so let's see can you press that not sure what exactly that's getting me to be honest though um dad so I can't do that okay well I tried I tried I didn't think that would kill me I think I've fallen farther than that but possibly not maybe it's just barely outside of the range okay so let's see we're sure we got to get mouse got up here oh hold on now can you can you go over there Oh I thought that was a wall oh I just realized then y again and then I'm going to come to the top of this and then why again okay there we go all right now here's the question what do I do now there's really I mean man hmm I need to get that other one working I need to get the other one working but once I press that button now see that's a that's how I think maybe I could have stood at the very edge let's look at this again can I stand at the does the same thing but no no if you walk over here and I press the right button if I press X then it does that platform which uh yeah that was the answer so that was just a button pressing here and I I I'm I'm telling you the reason why that button pressing error happened is entirely because of me playing this on my Xbox controller plugged into my PC and also playing with my boys playing the switch because that uh it messes oh no uh shoot now now okay so I now what what I do so that took a lot of trial and error to sort of figure that out but I'm going to go over here I'm gonna press the button and then I'm just going to sort of walk off the edge hopefully I can get further far enough away I did okay now uh I need to know come on hurry up hurry up get down here get down here you can you can make the whole thing and now I can go all right we did it cool okay that was a that was a fun puzzle and it wouldn't have been that challenging if it weren't for again just me switching back and forth between switch and Xbox it's just confusing because the buttons are exactly opposite so like just half the time I say I tried to press X and I press y or whatever and I just wish there were different letters but the fact that they're exactly opposite makes it it makes it challenging for me and you know I I'm an old dog and I guess it's kind of a new trick switching back and forth so all right well let's head up here looks like there's another one of these guys how far is he gonna come over he's gonna come over this far okay then it's gonna open a gate now why would I want that gate open or bridge I guess not really more of a bridge I really can't think of why I would possibly want that oh oh you know why oh I know why because that's going to give me that's going to give me uh um that's going to give me the the shade that I need from this thing so what I'll do is I'm gonna do uh run well I'm not I'm not gonna do anything yet I'm gonna wait until it Cycles over and that is don't know oh oh I was getting a little full of myself here I thought for sure that I would be able to uh make that jump but I I can't so hmm I wonder if I can get on top of this thing all right let's far no problem sometimes I fall a little bit I'm dead I guess it depends on what the Trap or what the storyline requires maybe it's super consistent it feels it feels like it's not now we are running into I guess what will be the next puzzle I am uh look I I again I want to say I'm loving loving this game I love what we've learned about the world I'd like to learn more about the world I'd really I'm really hopeful that we'll learn a lot more now I'm I know that you're going to chew that for sure that's a that's a 100 percenter so you go ahead and chew that there's no electric so I think it's buttons and stuff but I would need to control the Droid thing I'm not really sure how to do that so let's try the system that we're going right now again and see if we can kind of work out a way to get uh mouse cat uh down here I don't know I like that it doesn't push me I'm thankful for that I'm not especially thankful that okay make it get mouse cat really close to here and then right whenever we're working through this desert Sandstorm sort of area and uh just seeing what's next I I have I'm very proud that I've done this because I am not a good puzzle figure outer that's just not my bag it's not something I'm strong at at all I have different set of skills what they are I'm not totally sure but they're not that at least and I I am proud that I've been able to do this entire game and only have to look up I think one or maybe two puzzles where I had the I had to like seek help or I you know it's probably one of the things I could have tried to figure out for an hour or just looked up kind of quickly and moved on but yeah I think I've only searched one maybe two yeah it looks like I'm about ready to give up give up this answers too much and I think I'm so sad about my sister or thing and see if maybe that would give me enough height to get up to that ring because that's the only possible thing I can possibly think that I could yeah go ahead just you go ahead and fall right exactly where I'm supposed to go but maybe I can find um I can't find mouse cat either so I'm not really sure where I the only reason why I went to the to the left is because that's what we did at the very beginning so maybe that's what we're supposed to do this time of course there'd be a puzzle they can't figure out at the very end of course there would be I don't there we go okay that's why you probably needed to do on or not yeah there we go are there what's that guy hammering up there he's like rebuilding or rebuilding our village after uh after the horrible attacks and yeah oh look hey hey I found my buddy oh look it's like the look The the alien or the robots they're like they're helping they're bringing wood and stuff to help people rebuild everything awesome oh look yeah yeah awesome so like the programming of the whole the whole robot thing has changed now now they're like maybe helping us get food and all that kind of stuff helping uh helping get apples [Music] yeah she doesn't care anymore I thought maybe she'd turn around and yell at me I I gotta gotta gotta find my find my sister and see what exactly is going on with her make sure she made it back safe after all you know [Music] I saved I saved the world I saved the entire world from the uh the aliens it's it's amazing look another another guy fishing up on top of one of those it's awesome awesome what a what a great ending to a to to a game I mean to be able to tell to be able to tell the story that they told in this game in this I don't even know how many episodes they did eight or nine ten episodes uh to tell you know that many hours and where you're telling a story with absolutely no dialogue no written dialogue no verbal dialogue nothing is uh truly it's it's it's awesome it's really awesome so hopefully we can find my find my sister here the tutorial stage at the very beginning very very first stage it's exactly how it was before but I'm well I don't actually have more Powers it's not like I like leveled up during this during this um uh Journey or anything but I'm much better at the game now so I guess I leveled up my my own self and I know that I uh really enjoyed the journey well I'm gonna do uh I'm gonna be quiet for a second and uh soak in the atmosphere here as we come across the graves of our parents and and look for my sister ah [Music] say hi foreign [Music] [Music] come on
