Pitchers Getting Pissed Off

[Music] Solaire scores here comes over and he scores as well Nikki Lopez who was just one for his last 23 delivers the tiebreaking two-run single curveball and he just takes it stays on it doesn't try to do much with it just up the middle and he is gonna end ours afternoon with that two-run single they take a 7 to 5 lead Trevor Fowler when he was taken out of the game turning I don't worry threw that ball well I don't know if I'll tell you one thing I know what this skipper is not happy with that he might be frustrated because this was an ugly inning but you can't do that between the lines frustrating afternoon for Trevor Bauer and his manager who was fine until it upset him there at the mound what he did before he came out watch this he turns and fires it thankfully he threw it against the board so there was nobody in the seats there to get hit with it but you know you don't do that when your managers coming out it's disrespectful so Francona is going what the heck was that in frog was my bad skip I'm sorry and he goes go grab some pine I'm gonna see you in a little bit and so he's in the principal's office right now and then let them deal with it but the Royals they they frustrated him they got some big hits on some of his best pitches and so he's got to go although he said it missed him get the ball somebody said just arguing and so the runners going to go to second base and rather than pick the ball up and throw it Martin argued and that allowed Jay to go all the way to second base let's take a look first hit him [Music] that was the double-click you could you and you could see him lift that back foot after he's hit strike out wild pitch yeah as you said you've got to continue we've got to continue to play and then argue with it argue about it later on runner at second nobody out now Matt Holliday at the plate and of AJ Burnett had to work some magic the third inning boy look at this [Applause] marches toward a Burnett have you seen that recently an old fire charging after the pitcher [Applause] that's an adrenaline fastball with this conversation is about first basis opened Gary Sanchez at the plate and he just walked them set up the double play he pitched carefully to him a lot of closers don't like to intentionally walk people high fly ball deep center going back Springer still back still back still back Sanchez and the Yankees take a 3 nothing lead how can you possibly not walk in their pitching coach comes out to the mound they have a long conversation at the first pitch from Giles ends up a long way from home plate a three-run home run so poor Lander nearly untouchable for eight innings and jaws was not well not only did the Yankees hit Ken Giles heart check this out Ken Giles it's Ken Giles heart he just punched himself in the face Wow oh you just told me to get in the box razor just told Sanchez to get in the box get in the box I can read those lips a kiss Tuan and a swag a Miss he struck him out on his way to the first base dugout one ball two strikes oh we got going on I know Tripp Gibson saying something very vocal Adrian Johnson the home plate umpire I don't want to foul that ball hit well heading for the bullpen then it's 25 to 4 shot Kelly just threw his glove down I don't know that I've seen a pitcher do that he is some kind of upset about something whether it's the homerun what happened before the homerun with the umpire the fact that he's even in the game I don't know but I've never seen a pitcher do this I mean it was a big time watch Sean Kelly and I see him here but but we got it we're gonna show you and he looked toward the dugout and that tells me that he doesn't think he should be in this game [Applause] that's why I'm interpreting that I might be wrong Kevin plawecki with one out he were to look toward the umpire if he was mad at the umpire he looked toward his own dugout still something good get in the box it goes you're number four number five you're gonna have a lot of sleepless nights in the off season Kershaw buddy want that worried yeah at two and two this is going to be trouble it's going to be a hit look at wait the frustration from not hitting the fastball kershaw just threw the ball away and into the dugout he was so frustrated with the previous call presumably from home plate umpire Todd Tichenor will that adrenaline and anger from the non call made him make an extra effort on the chopper off the plate and he probably would have been better off just let it Justin Turner get them all but because of that adrenaline he wanted to do it all himself we're not going to count that on his pitch count or that one [Applause] that last half-assed ride and reaching out for would have been better suited you to say just for the chores
