Pirate's Cove Adventure Mini Golf!

good evening from Pirates Cove Adventure Golf on International Drive in Orlando never done this mini-golf course before I'm excited to see what it's all about from what I hear I think we can play mini-golf on a pirate ship that's exciting let's head inside and check it out before we head inside I do want to point out it is next to a gigantic castle hotel I think this hotel is literally called the castle I mean as far as mini-golf places go this is kind of ridiculous as far as the theming level is it's like a big table here where you can do all kinds of maybe like birthday parties and there's a giant throne you could be the king of pirates Cove this is kind of ridiculous did not expect this level of theming for a mini golf course at this place [Music] Wow there's all kinds of photo ops around here this is just a waiting area for the people that are going to play mini golf all kinds of different places to sit and for the kids to come up here and be a pirate er oh I thought it would spin but yargh what do they call these things the stockades you can be in the stockades came and use the bathroom check out the way that the door closure is there's just a weight on a pulley and that's what closes the door not too bad 15:45 to do Blackbeard's challenge they told me that this one was the more difficult course so we're doing Blackbeard's challenge this is kind of ridiculous for a mini golf course right like there's cannons and all kinds of other different things everywhere Wow a boy horseplay that's not the pirate way these are piratey ducks on the first hole pretty neat as you can see the Orlando Eye and the star flyer from right here it's pretty much right next to those two each hole has an interesting fact about Blackbeard so his drill name was Edward Teach he was born around 1680 he was raised in an educated family oh they didn't really show the first hole because they family was letting me play through so I just want to get through it quick but here's the second hole this is a part two I'm gonna try to ramp it up there Oh didn't do so good on hole number two is that a pirate ship down there this is kind of ridiculous right like I'm pretty blown away by the scope of this course look at that there's a giant waterfall in the middle of this golf course ooh hole number three I've got to ramp up a little ramp without shooting the golf ball out of the course this might be a little bit difficult dang look at how close that was though oh no we've reached the point in Blackbeard's life where he met his first pirate and he is slowly becoming a pirate arrr whoa look at this hole it's down the bottom of that big hill alright don't fall over camera here it comes wasn't too bad was it I don't know how you aim with that like you just kind of guess that'll probably end up down there somewhere right here we go long distance play let's see can we do it channeling my Tiger Woods little tap tap tap-a-roo oh my goodness the next hole is on a giant pirate ship I have to cross a bridge to get out there I'm gonna call this a gangplank because I'm playing by myself I'm kind of catching up to the group ahead of me and I was just looking around and I looked down there's a skull down there what the heck whose skull is that and here it is this is where he got his name Blackbeard and this is we're on a pirate ship right now what's in here my goodness there's an inside to this pirate ship this is the most themed out golf course I've ever seen in my life oh this seems kind of easy we just kind of have to get it around the outside there and get it into that hole Oh all of the wood gave me funny bounces well no it's only a part two oh no I got a sink this place spoiler alert I did not sink the putt they even put ramming scars on the front of this pirate ship that is amazing the detail this looks kind of difficult there's a sunken in part over there I just got to keep it to the side here and not hit it too hard so that it doesn't go down into the sunken in part this is a par 3 I think I can redeem myself on this hole nice little tab keep it up oh no all right good that was frightening for a second there wouldn't it okay I kind of like that there are not all kinds of crazy wacky obstacles in the way it's just different elevation changes did I go straight down the middle or should I go around the outside I think I'm gonna go straight down the middle I'm not doing so good but these Ducks on the other hand are doing great oh no I woke one of them I'm sorry so the sleeve back to sleep duh I don't know what it is that I'm smelling but something smells absolutely delicious hole eight looks dangerous there's a water trap in it all right I just have to keep it over to the left not too bad what is this a part that's a par 3 I might be able to get some some points back here or I might get it into the water this is the other course that I'm not on they told me that Blackbeard was harder but this one looks like there are less people on it so maybe this one would have been better to do because I've worked like right now I'm stacked up against the group in front of me in the group behind me is also stacked up against me so I don't know maybe when you come here don't do Blackbeard side even though it is enticing Oh No that's like what Han Solo did okay so this is interesting there's a huge jump here where you can dukes of hazzard it or you go down the ramp I think I'm gonna do cuz it hazard it yeah well that was a good move I'm so close to the hole there's like a dip down there isn't there what the heck well there's not a dip it's just a shadow okay I might be able to get I keep saying this I might be able to redeem myself look at this waterfall also there's a sign that says beware of piranhas oh no you got to be careful or else you might end up like this guy he was eaten alive by piranhas looking up at the top of the waterfall there's a couple of pirates asleep and some hammocks up there so this one looks kind of simple I think I can do this ain't no attention to the fact that this is my third hit I did pretty bad on that whole I am not ashamed to admit I am no golfer following 17-18 Blackbeard swore off piracy I'll never be a pirate and then he got a pardon but then the longing for the Seas set in we all know what happens after that birthday parties pirate themed birthday parties there's some people on the star flyer I went on the start flyer will put a link to that in the description down below sorry that was my like hook hand for being a pirate because I'm holding onto my scorecard I'll put a link in the description down below number 11 looks kind of interesting there's a hump here and then there's a ramp that'll put you right back down in this little spot here those are so many ramps oh not so good I was so close to getting a hole-in-one but then I got four so not not doing great having a nice solid eight over par run men we are a little bit over half so still got some time got way more oh no I got to get a hole-in-one on a bunch no geez you know what the age old adages let sleeping pirate slide I guess the next step was not birthday parties it was humanitarian things he needed medicine for his disease crew I'm gonna try using reverse psychology this one looks super hard I don't know if I'll be able to do it Oh does that count as a hole-in-one that's a 2 though it smells like steak out here and it smelled delicious I want to know where this steak is cuz one day I'd like to eat there number 13 seems entirely too easy what's going on here nothing there's no trick to it you just kind of barely tap it and none of these too hard that's a heck I have to start cheating because I'm doing so bad we're at the very tippy top of the waterfall over here plenty of views all around this one seems like it shouldn't be too bad but I keep saying that about all of them and I'm doing terrible we call this the old one-handed blogging Hut Oh whoo how's it doing okay it's not too bad oh no oh it almost went in the corner over here down oh no now I'm 10 over par oh I really have to get a bunch of hole-in-ones now to bring it back the 15th hole is inside of this haunted cave Oh No there's a prison over here what's in there oh oh no there's this guy you know I thought it was the skeleton it's literally a scary-looking bug-eyed guy he's been in there for so many days he's been counting the days oh he's gonna eat a rat there's the hole over here oh no there's another cell this guy's been in there for so long then he turned into a skeleton oh there's three of them in there three skeletons hey sorry guys you had a good run as pirates though that was so close with you two - feels good this one's exciting so I've got two different holes to choose from one probably goes all the way down and the other one has to go into all these different holes here I think I'm gonna go for the the long distance one the one one way over there let's give it a try one-handed okay it's going in where is it gonna end up oh it ended up out there okay but then it's going in that one and then we're out here okay chasing the ball still going get in there all right where's next oh oh look at that oh dang that was so close oh okay so you want to go for the closer one because I think that one just drops straight down hole-in-one don't tell anybody that I'm cheating I just am embarrassed that I'm so bad at mini golf so I actually got four on that one but I wrote down two cuz I am a cheater there is the pirate's graveyard number 17 whoo this one's a doozy I don't have any plan for it I'm just hoping that I get somewhere close to the hole Oh oh my goodness Paul that was so close I know you guys were kind of far away but look at this it came so close I don't even have to cheat on this whole look at that everything's coming up millhouse starting to go down also they're burying a treasure out here leave that x marks the spot that's how they know where the treasure is hole 18 is the tale of Blackbeard's demise okay this one looks kind of hard I'm just gonna wing it see where we go all right so far so good whoo oh no it's shooting around the edge there not too bad and my ball has disappeared thus ending my trip down Blackbeard's challenge bendy steel is the blacksmith there he is hey there Ben I need to oh yes a little monkey in there messing around with his like cannonball I can't be good Ben I want to take care of that monkey he might blow up your shop also don't store cannonballs or bombs inside of a blacksmith shop a lot of heat and sparks in there even with cheating I wasn't able to do very good they also asked if I got any hole-in-ones when I completed because they said lucky holes or 1818 I was nowhere close on either of those so there you have it that was our trip to Pirates Cove Adventure Golf all pretty fun little mini golf course and if we can take one thing away from this trip it's that Tim is a cheater at mini golf I really enjoyed the theming really enjoyed the play I wish I had picked the other course because there like everybody was doing Blackbeard's course not everybody was doing the other one so if you guys come out here maybe do them both maybe start with the other one I don't never what it was called it he was just called the pirate's horse or something like that but the black bears one was definitely way more popular they're playing it right now and having a blast so with that being said we are off we'll see you guys tomorrow [Music]
