[Applause] we're the last of the Campbell gone we're eating like Jesse James a a ballgame if you're out here riding with me come on back nation No saddled up [Music] [Music] [Music] so I'm still out here in Utah the st. George Utah and I'm strolling along with a guy if you look up there at that porch light on that trailer strolling along with a guy that a lot of you know from a previous video mr. Phil Miller let's go jump right into it Phil why don't you tell us what you got there and what you've been up to the last couple years same old same old I guess it's going around and around in circles all on these cows but oh we built this new truck down there zona Roth ticket and his crew did all the outside work and it's a 2000 17 feet but 389 oh it is ex Cummins PDI is worked over and compound turbos on yeah I don't know I'm pretty pretty pleased with it tear it there PDI gotta talk me into doing the Cummins this time and yeah I'm real pleased what's the difference between what you had and what you got now what are some of the things that you enjoy about it well the fuel mileage and the torque on this Cummins after being tuned that everything just it's pretty pretty amazing I jumped probably a mile a gallon over the calf motor but I never thought I'd get away from the cap motors I was very sold on build my glider and I drove a couple of Jarrett's and anyway he talked me into it you can never shake your head at getting better fuel mileage there right so aesthetically there tell me about tell me about the truck the wheelbase there and some of the other things that you may have done Oh start it off I guess come in there and I was just gonna build uh just wanted to build to work truck you know doll it up a little draw panels and pipes and visor and go to work trade off three or four hundred thousand was original plan but best laid plans I guess it kind of kind of went crazy and we ended up pulling the interior all the way out of it to B's custom up in Seattle did the buttoned up interior and then rod and his crew painted every all the all the plastic stuff matched outside of the truck and we went outside and we decided the body drop it and up getting body drop two and a quarter inches had a guy can to build a 379 grille surround / 389 but 379 headlights multiple air cleaners had just kind of made it simple and classy old-school looking yeah for sure I don't mind when you guys get carried away like that I know your your wallet wasn't expecting that but you know from the outside looking in I don't mind when you get carried away because you got a good-looking truck there that you put together having a van it every day and god I did but I did but I guess yeah about some of the parts and a lot of the parts are like the drop panels and steps are 12 gauge customs and and the pipes are from Dyna flex and same as the last truck I did and then we have the Lincoln bumper stainless stainless and chrome Lincoln bumper on this truck and we'll bases 291 and we put a 48 inch sleeper on this truck so kind of give it a long look what about the other previous truck that we filmed in a couple years ago where's that truck at these days all right now I got it parked in the shop my fiancee drives it most of the time or we're expecting a new little boy so she's out of commission for a minute ten-four I'd imagine she hauls cattle as well with him yeah yep we'll jump to some of the things here that's been happening in the truck industry in the trucking industry we were dealing with are still dealing with the eld situation I'm gonna have you weigh in on that and also some of the stuff that has occurred where guys in your field you know hauling livestock and cattle and whatnot have gotten an exemption but you know give me your opinion on this whole situation they need to drastically three work dollars of service as far as I'm concerned and they know it as far as livestock the livestock industry is concerned it it just it doesn't work they're still trying to figure that out I'm I guess we're all just kind of waiting to see what they come up with right now I don't know it's just we don't all fit in the Box you know and the top one sorry well let's jump back and let's talk about some performance parts or just parts in general and things yesterday I got to go out on the road with Jared and one of his trucks they're a fine-looking truck and he got too tall he told us is his history as as to being involved with the trucking industry and performance diesel incorporated PDI give me the backstory on on how you've enjoyed dealing with them as a company well on my personal trucks I've had oh I suppose this is a third one now we've done tuned and turbos and exhaust manifold the one single turbo usually done two trucks with a single turbo and two trucks with the twin turbos the twin turbos are just phenomenal the cone bouncing this takes a much cooler run everything runs so good to just run smooth it just takes a lot of worry out of everything this truck we just recently put an intake manifold on and it dropped the barometer temp about 50 degrees and I was really tickled with that the last truck run really good I don't know just consistent and it didn't then in there problems I don't know they and now you're running in this kind of weather and you have livestock on that one less thing to worry about that that's worth waiting gold yeah I can really relate now of course I'm not in the truck right now I don't have a regular anything or a bunch of weight hooked to me but just being here in in the elements I can see how the temperature their engine temperature operating temperature is a big deal and anything that you can say if temperature wise is a savings in like you said it puts your mind at ease where you know again I've not driven out here but there's there's some pretty pretty impressive grades and pools here so I can see where you can rest at ease a little bit having that performance and just the way they stand by their PD I stand behind their product so well and seems to bend over backwards to make sure you're happy with it I can't complain at all I'm foam tickled I guess as you can tell I've been coming back for years I'm gonna take advantage of the scenery here on your right and get me a couple - shots there that's pretty country for here I think she got the couple nice shot deal figured out pretty well Chris that's right I've not done many follow-up videos with some of the guys that have been featured before in the rolling CB interviews and everything so I'm gonna ask you this question and you'll have to let me know what what you think there so what has it been like after being featured on big rig videos you're doing your deal going around the country or around the around your region what has it been like with people coming up to you and say hey I recognize that truck you know I don't know so I'm asking you I'm kind of curious Dadar boy you got a lot of followers say they they really like your videos and and yeah it's it it's pretty amazing the feedback you know a lot of people watch some videos and come back and say well have I seen you on there really like what you're doing love that truck Farren my fiancee that she probably tell me I'm getting a big head so I better be careful nothing wrong with that you know yeah you do what you do you do it well and it's nice to be able to get a little bit of recognition for that you know malee try to do the best again for sure I guess since that time our cattle Hallandale is changed a little I'm not selling livestock right now I'm just trucking and me and two other trucks of my own and then I pull for a guy a really good family out of Cedar Fork Utah they're Jam mascara and they they keep us loaded all around the West now instead of me loading myself like it was before I go through them and let them take care of it 10 for a little more stress free it's been quite a load off yep so I'm looking at the back of the truck here again you gotta get it dialed in really nicely about how many lights are you running there on the truck total the truck is elbow has 31 lights it's just kind of old-school look goes with everything else glass lenses and just I don't know strategically placed how about that yes I see them you know the ones there on the mirror bracket there above the deck plate and on the bumper or the back of the the step box there I like that I like it a lot that glass lenses of the watermelon lens there it really throws a neat pattern there yeah it's pretty cool why don't you start out where you got those from I think I might know but you can go ahead and tell us again where you got those from I like the mirror pair lights and bumper lights are from broad ticket and get custom trucks and like I said he they did all the work to this truck him and his crew and yeah they did a heck of a job on it when I say they did all the work they they did all the outside and work and and Pei he's done all my motor work so for him the two we come up with a heck of a truck I ordered this truck through Clint Moore and then we shipped it from the factory to rot and Clint helped me pick out this color attainment and Peter Bell worked with this paint created the paint comes the paint code for us and painted it this color and we went from there with it when I looked on the map last night I didn't realize how close we were to the Grand Canyon if you head down to 40 you can go right around the end of the Grand Canyon there and go down to Kingman / Flagstaff for me yeah that's pretty crazy no coming from a guy from Florida you know I never thought that'd be you know driving by the Grand Canyon there right yeah dry melt if I was in Florida right now I down or Corpus Christi a couple weeks ago and bout melted that humidities a little rough yes it is actually our desert boy welco i'll say thanks again for letting us catch up with you there and get an update on what you've done with the new truck reseat the conversation and we'll be looking for you soon absolutely it was always fun to talk to you Chris thanks for doing this you're welcome [Music] [Music] [Music]
