This guy is getting huge, I can't wait till he comes state side. We have a tiny fetus of garage/chillstep scene in SF.
At the moment, Phaeleh is absolutely numero uno in terms of producing such chilled grooves. Beautiful, with great sense of melody. However, there are few more skilled in expressing emotions and creating atmosphere. He may be a gem, but not really flawless.

This is what dubstep is about, there's no need for heavy bass drops or anything like that, that's just noise. (It can be awesome to listen to if you are in the mood for some heavy bass, but it's still just noise).
