I did listen to beneath the mask during a real rain and I don't see rain the same again as before I play this game. It feels like each weather gets a theme already like beneath the mask(rainy version) on rainy days, Tokyo daylight or Tokyo emergency when I'm in the city while its either sunny or cloudy, Your Affection on sunny days and Heartbeat, Heartbreak on cloudy days.
I just have to put those tunes on my phone and listen according to the weather when I feel like the songs on radio are sucky with the modern stuff. Shoji Meguro sure knows how to make everyday life more colorful with the music.
My roommate and I play this exact video when we leave the dogs by themselves for the day!
Beneath the Mask and Alleycat are two of my favorite tunes in the game. Bith just make me want to sit a late night diner drinking coffee, watching the world go by.
I love it, but a little part of me is bothered it's not the rainy day version of the song.
Now, just gotta get this on Wallpaper Engine
I've always found this song to be quite melancholy. I can't put my finger on it.
