into goddess persephone the queen of the underworld and goddess of spring and innocence purity femininity so if you resonate with the story of persephone or with the energy of the goddess keep the description box and now before i dive into the story of persephone i do want you to say something that i believe is very important and this is actually something that persephone shared with me is that you know don't see a goddess or a being a higher dimensional being as external from you see these beings see this energy in this case see goddess persephone as in aspect of you as an extension of your own energy and she is showing up to remind you of an energy a frequency a vibration that already exists within you and so persephone is simply here as a reflection of what already exists within you and i think that's very important for all of us to remember so that we don't put goddesses on a pedestal but put goddesses in a place where we can be inspired by them and really embody the energy that they embody you know they these beings are not uh well my belief is that a lot of the gods and goddesses some were actually extraterrestrials but a lot of other gods and goddesses were actual just archetypal energy archetypal beings they were just consciousness energy that showed up on this planet to remind people of their potential so it's i think that's very important yeah i always felt the beautiful connection with goddess persephone and what i realized is that at the beginning i wasn't really ready to pursue that connection or to to fully embody the energy of persephone because i was kind of running away from it honestly i was uh you know when i i believe that persephone embodies the energy of the maiden and actually i'm gonna read what i wrote here because i think that's that's very important so who is persephone persephone is the queen of the underworld she she is the goddess of spring the daughter of the meter in zeus persephone represents the youthful maiden aspect this is you know our energy as we come into early womanhood the early stages of womanhood you know we are very naive and very innocent very pure until you know we are faced with experiences that kind of make us or push us into the underworld so we can get to know our own shadow so i think that's a beautiful lesson that persephone teaches us she also again like i said she symbolizes innocence purity beauty fertility it's beautiful peaceful expansive energy and now something that i wrote here is if persephone is the goddess of spring and maidenhood how did she become the queen of the underworld and like i said she was married to or she was the wife of hades and now this is where i am just gonna read what i wrote because this is just information that i think doesn't need anything else added to it so i'm sure many of you have heard of hades but if you haven't he is the great god of the underworld hades was madly in love with persephone he would often see her picking flowers in nature and i truly believe that hades fell in love with persephone's energy yes persephone was beautiful that she or haiti saw something in persephone that he knew existed within him but remained hidden so it was a very unconscious connection or perhaps self-conscious so he felt attracted to her vibration to her energy because again persephone embodied the opposite of what hades embodied which you know the underworld's all about the shadow and he was in his masculine energy but again more in darkness and persephone embodied the light so it was a beautiful what i believe to be a twin flame connection dynamic so that's very beautiful so one day you know because hades was so deeply in love madly in love with persephone he actually asked his brother zeus to assist him in the abduction of persephone and uh yes i know what you're thinking and zeus is the father of persephone so how could he so how could he do this to persephone to his own daughter and this is what persephone shared with me so persephone got to know her shadow through hades and hades got to know his light through persephone it's a beautiful twin flame connection like i shared earlier zeus allowed this to happen because both hades and persephone needed each other to achieve harmony within their own polarity persephone was too deep in her light she locked understanding of darkness hades was too deep in darkness he locked understanding of the light and so them coming together activated the aspect within themselves that remain hidden or inactive it's beautiful it really is beautiful you know it's like again hades was the shadow that persephone needed to know and persephone was the light that hades didn't know and yes persephone experienced a lot of hardship in the beginning of her abduction but only because she was being exposed to something she was completely disconnected from again she had no idea of what the shadow was and so she was again she was an innocent soul pure naive of the shadow and this was a huge shift in energy and environment but she endured and eventually threw full conscious integration of these frequencies persephone was able to find comfort in the underworld again it's all about integrating those energies and seeing the shadow within ourselves so that we can navigate the darkest places without fear without discomfort because we see it all as one as part of us and that is powerful so eventually the god of the underworld was able to type into his own light becoming a kinder man so hades also went through this huge transformation and another thing that i wrote here is that while listening to a podcast i heard some of the the women talking about pluto and pluto is the roman god of the dead and the underworld so this is another aspect of hades but what i find so beautiful is that pluto is a kinder aspect of hades so he is the aspect of hades that was transformed by the love of persephone so she brought him out of his shadow and into his own light but again there was this beautiful balance this harmonious union now because persephone is the daughter of stews this automatically makes hades her uncle since he is the brother of zeus and you know as his incest much you know like that's kind of weird but like i shared in the past i do believe that a lot of these gods and goddesses weren't actual beings like physical beings these are archetypes these are energies that are showing up to remind us to teach us a lesson to remind us of our power our potential and they teach us lessons through the stories the mythology of them so you know i don't really think much of it eventually persephone was able to go back to the surface she spent six months on the surface of the earth with her mother to meet her and uh this is uh what we know as spring and summer and then the other six months she would spend in the underworld ruling as the queen of the underworld with his or her husband hades and uh that's more on the fall and winter season so right now we are stepping into the underworld to rule with our king hades that's beautiful one of the things that persephone shared with me is that there is power in innocence you know innocence and naiveness is part of the process we have to experience this energy in order to get to a place of mastery so now i want to share my experience with persephone and a little bit about my story so that you can maybe relate maybe you have experienced something similar so yeah so at the beginning i shared about my connection to persephone and how i wasn't able to fully embody this archetype until now this is because persephone has mentioned earlier represents innocence naiveness purity she is the youthful maiden i always saw this within myself as weakness you know we think that vulnerability is weakness and we want to be strong especially in a world that is ruled by the patriarchy and uh so yeah i was very naive i was very innocent i guess and and one of the reasons this all happened is because you know i am a starseed i am an extraterrestrial in human form and so this is my first lifetime on this planet after a long time a very long time and so coming into this place into this physical plane it was very hard i've been very sheltered and protected by my spirit guides i haven't really experienced much and honestly this brought a great sense of sorrow because i really wanted to experience more i wanted to have i wanted to be in relationships i wanted to engage with people i wanted to have experiences like physical experiences all the experience that i have is what i have seen other people do you know i am i learn through other people's experiences but i haven't really experienced much myself personally and i always you know that always i always craved i hunger there was a lot of hunger for experience for personal experience but i was again i was very sheltered and protected by spirit guys and by my ancestors because i came here for a specific reason and engaging with other people was going to be very hard for me because you know it creates a lot of karma and i am here to dissolve karma and not create new so yeah and um one of the things that i struggled with the most is that i would often see the good in people and because i was so naive of the shadow i would completely disregard the red flags and i would just give and give and give and a lot of the times nothing was given to me back in return and you know there needs to be this equal exchange of energy otherwise we are completely trained and i think that's what happened to me i was just completely trained until one day i met my own hades my own god of the underworld and this person showed up he dragged me to the deepest parts of the underworld and he you know he showed me a different side a side that i was very naive of that i didn't really even knew existed so this kind of really fulfilled the hunger that i had the desire that i had for experience and i was able to really learn a lot about the shadow a lot about my own shadow about the shadow of people about the collective shadow and this really you know it made me a much wiser and mature woman and i think that was um very beautiful so my naiveness turned to discernment and my innocence evolved into courage and self-empowerment i became the queen of my own underworld and all because of hades i like to think that i also presented this opportunity to this other person you know because you know if you changed my life i really hope that i changed his life for the better even if it was just a little bit uh and if you energy keeps the inner child a child the world makes us grow too fast our innocence is taken away at a very young age so really just hold on to that very little innocence that you have left if any because i know that this earth can be a very rough experience and it's very difficult but hold on to all the innocence and all that purity that you have left and really nourish that nurture that energy really give that back to your inner child and really work on healing your heart and healing yourself and focus on yourself as you dive into the depths of the underworld so yeah persephone is a beautiful goddess to connect to especially during this time of the year because this is when she dives into the underworld to rule with the king of the underworld with the god of the underworld with hades and this really allows us to kind of balance that light with this with the shadow with darkness if you are like me and you've you know struggled with that innocence with the purity and being naive in the past then you know persephone can be one of your mentors to kind of take your power back to teach you how to work in the shadow and how to really use that energy of the underworld to kind of balance and find harmony within yourself not for bad you know we're not here to hex people but to really work within ourselves to balance the energy within ourselves to find harmony within
