references of the New Testament it's your flesh it's very interesting go study that out we war the war is against the flesh - what's the flesh the flesh is the carnal desires that you have that would cause you if you didn't discipline it to go away from God and to do things contrary to the Word of God I find that a lot of people who are in quote-unquote warfare are always seeking deliverance when they need discipline okay because because I can cast the devil out of you every week but if you're not disciplined he gonna come right back because Jesus said they go out of a man and try to come back and bring seven other spirits more wicked than himself so if you know what's discipline discipline is another word for self-control where you control your thinking you control your thoughts you control your appetites you know how many of you know how many of you know that the thought of going to hell is a very strong resistor to do an evil do you understand what I'm saying there are things you could do but you don't do because you know where you could end up going hello I heard one person say dear God I know every time I ever tried to do wrong God would find me out or my daddy would find me out on my momma would find me out and I had a dad who prayed so much this is the honest truth the guys knew him he prayed so much that if I did anything secret God revealed it to him openly and this is the truth when I was a teenager I went to through some rebellion and he'd walk in he just walked in on but before I went to school he said Shawna had a dream last night and I knew what he was about to say I mean I knew God had already spoke to him about where I've been what I did who I've been with what we've been doing and I got mad at the Lord one time and I said would you please quit talking to him I mean I can't even go out do another wrong without you telling him what I'm doing can I tell you that forty some years later I'm I had a dad that could hear from God seriously but where I want to take you in the next few moments it's going to be a little warfare message different than maybe anything you've ever heard so what I'm going to have to do is I'm going to have to sort of build this up and kind of bring you into some areas one of the things what I'm going to do I'm going to throw a couple of nuggets out there that tie into the message but may not necessarily tie into the message and I call these rabbit trails my partners believe the rabbit trails are better than the whole message is it's normally okay so just so you'll know now I want to also begin by saying this there are people in the Bible I have a very hard time relating to now I don't know how you are but for me to relate to Moses no come on now here's the guy that can take a dead tree limb and hold it up and open up an ocean okay I don't know of anybody on the planet that can do that here's a guy that can hit a rock water just pops out from the ground people have all kinds of water to bathe then take a drink in cooking whatever they won't do so I have a hard time relating to a man that is that supernatural in the miraculous room with a dead tree branch then there's there's Elijah here's another guy I mean I mean who else goes to heaven in a chariot of fire can you can you tell me anybody else in them in history that ever got transported alive off the planet in a chariot of fire then there's Elijah I mean Elijah did double the miracles that Elijah did but let me talk to you about the anointing am i talking I want to have it an don't you want if you want me tell you about an anointing this guy died and they threw a dead man on his bones and the dead man came back to life what kind of anointing is that I mean you got so much of the fire that after your flesh has deteriorated you still got anointing in your bones I'll tell you what I would she'd find those bones in an archaeological excavation I'd bomb and take him to churches and pop people on the head it's dead spiritually trying to wake some of these people up that I've preached for all these years you know saying and then I preached a message before I pulled that bone out and preach on bad-to-the-bone and then I pull the bone out and start laying hands on I'm not gonna bend ahead and I think I think about the other men in the Bible I do not have the strength of Samson to pull the gates off a city take a job bonus lay people I mean let's go through the Bible and talk about these people that we have a difficult time relating to one guy in the Bible every man in this building can relate to and it's a boy named David because he was young and he fell in love with God as a kid I did too he loved to sing as a kid I did too he loved to play a harp I'm not a harp player but I loved music as a kid I have two and I began to see how that the zeal he had for the Lord caused him to attack a bear in a lion and a giant and later battle the fullest Philistines so I talked to him I thought about David's life and about the four things we know that he fought in his younger days I want to give these to you real quick the first thing the Bible says when he was talking to Saul he said I fought a bear a bear is something you can see coming bears don't always make a noise when they appear but you turn around and you see it in the distance and it's coming towards you so a bear is a problem that you know is coming towards you has anybody ever hit a bear problem you saw it coming you knew it was coming then there is a lion after he took out the bear dealt with the problems he saw coming he had to deal with the lion you know what a lion is a lion is what you can hear is coming but you can't see it coming I've been to Africa and a lion can roar a lion's roar can be heard easily for two to four miles away and when it roars it paralyzes the entire Animal Kingdom the roar of a lion will stop a rabbit or the small animals and even though a larger animals in their track because they know it's a predator so David killed a lion what does that mean he dealt with things that he didn't see but he heard it was coming and so he set a strategy out to deal with it and we could we could show you that in his life that's not the message however then we find out that mm-hmm so he had to deal with Giants what is a giant a giant is something very large that everybody else is afraid to deal with that is known for its big mouth a giant for 40 days taunted Israel and nobody wanted to fight it but it wasn't just the voice it was the size behind the voice so we have we have individuals that we have to deal with who are mouthy who have nothing good to say who are completely negative and nobody wants to confront them because they don't want to be on the losing end of a beatdown verbal birth beat-down come on am i preaching anybody in the house so to avoid the verbal beatdown of a person who has authority they simply come back and put up with the stuff but David is a hoot yeah David there's a Jewish tradition it's pretty cool that says that when David showed up and saw Goliath he said who can stand against this man and then he heard Goliath cursing God and he said he has no defense I can even take him out now why do you think David chose a rock and a rag because when you blaspheme God in the Bible you got stoned the law said show them when they blaspheme so David was just lining himself up with what God had already said to defeat the enemy and then he would battle Philistines Philistines are they can be heard they can be seen and the Philistines representing us they'll track with me for just a minute the the the the Philistines represent the counter-attacks in your life because there are battles you win there are victories that you gain but there are consistent counter-attacks now what do I mean by that well on one occasion the Philistines came to the valley of rafaam when David became King they heard he was king so they gonna test him and they came to the Jerusalem and David defeated them then it says they regrouped again there's your counter-attack same problem same situation counter-attack then God said this time don't even fight or go behind the mulberry trees and when you hear the sound of a going overtop the mulberry trees the Arabic Bible reads it this way when you hear the sound of the horses hooves on top the mulberry trees the Lord has gone before you so God David had to fight the first time but God fought the counter-attack for him the second time let me talk to you for a minute to explain it to you this way and we're gonna get to the main point here in just second that when when a person is healed this happens to people good people but a person will be healed of something like cancer let's say let's say for a lady its breast cancer and they're totally clear for years and then years later they go for a checkup and the doctor said honey you got a spot on your liver down there that doesn't look good now here's what happens to people we think let me talk let me talk about Goliath here for a minute see when David fought Goliath if you read the Bible he cut his head off now that sounds crude till you understand I want you to go back and read the story of Goliath and go to the old commentaries that say the rock stunned him and knocked him out but didn't kill him David took a sword to cut the root out and the sword is the word by the way so he knew if he was stunned he might stir back up again so he cut the root or the head off insuring that that would she had taken care of would not come back to haunt him again but here's the problem read your Bible there were four of the Giants in the land and there's a there's a verse that says and Lommy the brother of Goliath did you know that's in the Bible in Sam things and Samuel Chronicles there is a ok if he's the brother of Goliath he looks like him smells like him talks like him acts like him walks like him right he's his brother now the Lord spoke to me one day and said when people are healed and I healed him I heal him I'm a healer but sometimes the thing they were healed from tries to reappear at another place at another time but it's not Goliath it's not the amount I'm helping somebody in this house right here it's not Goliath it's his brother but I heard the Holy Ghost tell us tell me but tell the Saints there's still stones in the brook somebody oughta shout right there that there's still stones in the brook what do I mean by they're still stones in the brook it means the same faith you got delivered with once will rise up and deliver you a second time will rise up and deliver you a third time and will keep on delivering you because faith has power to set you free hallelujah somebody all right now this is the life of David now what I want to do cuz I'm gonna bring him back up in just a minute is I want to talk to you now we're gonna get into the more the depth of this message because God has always communicated with people I hear people say sometimes artists don't believe God speaks to anyone today well if that's the case nobody can get saved because the Holy Spirit has to draw you to the Lord he has to speak to you and tell you you're a sinner so if you're telling me God doesn't speak today that means nobody in your church gonna be able to get saved because it takes the holy ghost speaking to your spirit to get you right with God there's never been a time God has not spoken there's been a lot of times his people haven't been listening not a speaking problem listen problem however in the Bible there were three main positions and I want you to I want you to follow me through this because I'm going to get to the highlight of what this message is about in about 10 minutes or so alright we're going to get there and I'm gonna show you something that the Lord gave me he really he really gave me this you know when I when I say that sure enough brother Bobo from hobo probably preached this 25 years ago you know and I don't I've never heard it okay so if your uncle preached this 50 years ago just thank God for it because he had the revelation to okay but most of you know this that there were three three three people that God used in the Old Testament extensively the prophet the priests and the king now here's how I want to break this down the Prophet was the voice for God the priest brought forth the presence of God and the King was the authority of God on the earth the authority of battling the authority of war the authority to overcome the afforded authority to pronounce victory so you had God using these three people these three positions one to speak as his voice one to bring you into his presence and the other to release his authority on the planet prophet priest and King now you tract with me because it's gonna get interesting what becomes unique is that it was forbidden by the Lord for a person to cross over from one position to the other King Uzziah was a king and not a priest he went into the temple and offered incense and came down with leprosy aza was a Judah I taught a Levite and when he goes to touch the Ark of the Covenant God strikes him dead the men a bit of Benjamin were good men but they took the lid off the Ark of the Covenant which they shouldn't do because only the high priest on the Day of Atonement can mess with that mercy seat and put blood on it see it's really interesting because on the mercy seat was the blood and in the box was the law and the law represented judgment if you broke that you died in judgment and it's interesting that when you take the blood between you and God all you got left is judgment so they missed they messed with the ark that had the blood on it when they took the lid off all they got was God and judgments see that's why judgment came to the men of best UMich are you still here I like it cuz you know how to listen well now this is interesting I want to say it again because you were not permitted in the Old Covenant to cross over Levites who a priest had to be sons of Levi they had to be it had it was hereditary High Priest the oldest son became the next high priest when the high priest at the high priest would speak the unspeakable name of God telling him how to pronounce it for the Day of Atonement the high priest would pour all on him the high priest would declare he was the son and then the hype the hype that high priest would die and his oldest son became the next high priests prophets were unique because there was also sons of prophets read in Kings when the sons of the prophets at the three schools that Elijah's started they believe he started them Bethel and Gilgal Jericho the sons of the prophets were learning how to prophesy the way their fathers did they would get together and sing and they would quote get the verses to study the Word of God in the words of prophets before them so you can see how this it was very compart compartmentalized you you were either a priest or you were a prophet or you were royalty you were David who had a son named Solomon and Solomon who had a son named Rhea Boehm Andrea Beaumont on and on and on the kings of Judah he goes down the lines you were either you were either born a king born a priest or born to be anointed as a prophet because you couldn't cross all three are cross from one to another except except one man let's go back earlier let's go back earlier Melchizedek king and priest of the Most High God Melchizedek was both King of Jerusalem but a priest of the Most High God the first priest of the Most High God but it does not mention where he was prophet he would just priest and king no where is the out prophesy and even revelations of what's going to happen in the future was we only have Genesis 14 to deal with we don't beyond that one man outside of melchizedek not only cross two but cross three David is called in the book of Acts the Prophet David Psalms 22 are eight statements that deal with the crucifixion of Jesus and he wrote that come on somebody and all through the Psalms this / prophesies my own familiar friend had forsaken me had lifted up his heel against me he that ate ate my bread with me has turned against me the prophecies about Judas more than likely his bishopric let another tape that's quoted in acts about Judas and that's from Psalms that's why David's are promised so he knows a prophet so let's clarify these a prophet but watch what he does he also becomes king and he gets three anointings he's anointed over the tribe of Judah let's go back he's anointed by Samuel to be future king it's first morning then he's anointed at the tribe of Judah that's the second anointing that all of Israel got together and anointed him when he became king so this man had three different anointings on three different occasions and the reason is is because Jesus would be anointed three times I'll let you figure that one out let you figure about the woman who had known him his feet I'll let you figure out how they brought the spices to his burial come on I'll talk to you and I'll let you realize how the Holy Ghost came on him in the Jordan River how he was anointed on three different occasions parallel to parallel with David let's see here's the thing so he was he was prophet King but someone said he was never a priest no you've not read what Jesus said about the shewbread the table of shewbread was a table of bread where the bread was made every week and the priest would go in every week once once a week and they would break off little pieces of bread and they were all allowed to eat the bread and then made new bread and put it on there for the next week it's called the table of shewbread twelve pieces of bread but it was eaten only about the priests anyone who would have been caught eating the shewbread would have been stoned because they would have been infringing upon a priestly Act and David goes to the tabernacle and says I'm hungry and eats the bread and doesn't die and Jesus messes with the Pharisees telling all these David's stories like that you with me okay so then why is it look I know where I'm going you don't know where I'm going on the world I'm about to run around this place come on if my foot if my leg straightens up I may just take a lap around here how will somebody help me why does David have to be a prophet a priest and a king here's why the Messiah who is coming is called son of David so if David is a prophet Messiah son of David must be a prophet if David is a king Messiah son of David has to be king ah if Messiah is priest then son of it he's the son of David David has to walk somewhere in the position of priests this is what God did not slay him for eating the shewbread when Uzziah touched the Ark he dropped dead and then when when the wind when Korah messed with the incense he went in the pit and I can show you examples in the Bible God never let a man cross but when you're a man after God's own heart when you're a teenage boy taking God dancing on the mountain the Bethlehem when you're a teenager and you're gonna take on a job that nobody else wants to fight when you're willing to put on the 85 when the ark comes back and your wife is mocking you but you don't care and you start dancing before God with all of your might and you go back to the house and she criticizes you and you say woman if you thought I'd dance today you ain't seen nothing yet I'm about to put on a show wit now okay I'm gay I'm just I'm just about three notes away from where I want to go Jesus help me now so Christ is prophet mark six for a prophet is without honor zone country he's priest he brews 911 Christ our high priest he's king it's gonna be king in the future revelation 19:16 king of kings and Lord of lords but here's where it gets interesting David was all three positions Christ was all three positions but now I'm ready to blow your mind everybody in this room everybody can be all three positions now let me let me let me let me touch the first one a little bit carefully and with wisdom 1st Corinthians 14 31 talks about that Paul said everyone can prophesy but let me give you the definition of prophesying so that will keep this balanced you do not some of the strangest people in the world are people who always have a word for you from God now let's just some raw I'm not quiet believe it as far as Lester did but Lester never believed in personal prophecy because Lester said this if you're close enough to God he'll speak to you yourself and you won't need somebody else to give you a word but now where I'm at is a prophecy from you should confirm what I already know in my spirit G about that guy this really happened big crowd he you know he was known for being the prophet so he calls him and hey brother come over here huh happy Holi go shares you're called to India and he starts crying he points a woman ounces just to come over here God's called Judah China you're gonna be a missionary and she starts whaling and then they started hugging each other well the preacher didn't know that was a husband-and-wife sitting in two different parts of the building cuz she had to take the kids home he said y'all know each other let's move up that's my husband well the guy knew is in trouble he said hi hung under the hi got hit you're gonna call it but you're called the indochina that's the word I'm getting it oh come on let me tell you some people get in more trouble getting prophesied over who you go marry Oh Lord honey he's for you Oh God just stirred my spirit up he's for you oh honey God just stirred my baby God's turned my spirit spirit up she is for you look I dated two girls in my day then I thought I'd marry one and I didn't and I thought I'd marry the other and I didn't and the only thing I can say today is thank God I do seriously not that they're bad girls by one of their eagerly you know she's probably close to my age and I don't know where the other one is but you know she's living somewhere got kids so everybody's happy but I'm real happy I really am because see I got who was fit for me so instead of me letting everybody tell me who was right for me I just decided to have a prayer meeting and I'm standing on a platform preaching and I don't even know the woman on my left the young 19 year old girl that's on my left in Tuscaloosa Alabama and I'm praying hallelujah I'm in the choirs prayin and I'm looking all these young people been saved in my meeting and I see this girl on the end she got a black skirt on and a black what he called jacket on and a blouse that's frilly this way that way I'm an Alabama here we're talking Southern Belles down there you know what I'm talking about we're in deep Alabama and God says to me that's the girl you're going to marry and I said I bind you Satan in the name of Jesus try to distract my mind with a girl I'm not doing it I'm not doing I'm in a big revival here God people getting save this is a third week of this revival and I'm not no no no and they bite sprayed hold her best pray and you know we're praying and we're praying for prayer requests you know the choir gonna sing another song and I just turn and God said I see it now let me tell you something it's one thing for God to speak but it's another thing when you hear him say I said because now he's got your attention I said that's the girl you're gonna marry well when I heard it the second time that you listen it dropped out of my head in my spirit and I knew it I can't tell you how I knew it but I knew it so I decided to do the Bible thing watch and pray I close one eye to the congregation like I'm praying and I kept the other eye open I said all thank you Jesus what I'm talking about all right all right let me get carnal for just a minute Lord she good look she is good she dropped dead good look at God he'll look at that hair oh Jesus Oh let me keep my mind on the Lord and I can tell you I've been married to that woman 36 years known her for 38 years you know somebody it's some people to talk about first lady and it's actually a third and fourth lady come on you understand I'm talking man no this is first lady and only lady and I'm crazy about her but see God gave me that word without somebody prophesied over me because if you're close to him he'll speak to you now okay so what does it meaning what does Paul mean when he says that all prophesy because you got to understand the meaning a prophecy prophesying hears them here's the definition ready edification exhortation comfort you are able to speak God's Word to people everybody can do this to say wait a minute honey I know you're discouraged but let me give you a word then you got to we're from the Psalms you got a word from the Bible you got you got something you've been praying about that God dropped in your spirit see it doesn't necessarily mean now I got a word for you God's just speaking to me about your future look the Holy Ghost is not into being a psychic does God show you the future of course he does I've had God to give me visions and dreams about things that happen and they happen to and three years later four or five years later national things that happen in America some of you who followed my ministry for years know I saw I saw the World Trade Center shrouded in black told it on TV years before the attack ever came told people there'd be a terrorist attack on the tread soon if you're my partner him of you you can remember that you know I haven't had the Lord tell me two and a half years before the guy ran for president who the next president was going to be Anna made him and Israel told him he was a governor then he wasn't running for anything how many know there are times God will speak to you so here's what I'm going to say people in this building have the encouragement to edify and exhort one another through through the prophetic which is the edification exhortation comforts everybody got that so far raise your hand now I told you you're all three where's the verses on you being a prophet and a king for revelation chapter 5 for you he has made us kings and priests unto the Most High God okay how are we priests and how are we Kings here's how we are priests and how we are kings Jesus is our high priest but priest in the Old Testament were the ones who brought sacrifices and their offerings to present them to the Lord in order to create the presence of God for that person and have their sins removed by the blood offerings and I can't forgive you your sins only Jesus can do that but when you understand that you are a priest unto the Most High God your sacrifices become according to Hebrews the praise of your lips so your worship becomes your sacrifice then you're giving can become your sacrifice there is Paul even talked about the how they gave to the missions and gave to the ministry and he was a sweet-smelling savour a sacrifice read the book of Philippians so so as a priest you're giving your prayer your worship all of that is priestly activity that was done under the Old Covenant now you do it and now the golden altar is in heaven read it in your Bible in Revelation and now the Ark of the Covenant is in heaven read that in Revelation chapter 11 and now the incense altar revelation 8 though the prayers are offered up is now in heaven so now we don't do priestly things on an earthly level as far as going to a temple in Jerusalem come on now when we stand anywhere at any time and approach God with prayer and worship he receives it in heaven the Bible even says here men died that received tithe but there he receives it of whom we witness he lives so when you give you may be giving to a ministry or for a ministry but when you give read what the Bible says in heaven he receives it that's powerful see when Jacob saw I'm this is rabbit trail and when Jacob saw that ladder with angels going up and angels going down have you ever read what he said at the end of that dream he said bring me back to the land I'll give you the tithe what did that what did the tithe have to do with a gold ladder a base on earth and one part of it reaching the top of the gate of heaven and angels coming up and angels going down I'd like to tell you from rabbinical Judaism what it represented ready it represented the day a temple would be built and people would give their tithe and the Angels would be presenting those tithe to God and turning around and bringing their blessings back to earth that's what that ladder is see what I'm saying so that's why angels are going up and down they're presenting your giving to God they're presenting those things to God and then God in turn is saying bless them with this blessing with this blessing with this come on you got a angel a blessing you want to read it read the book of Genesis Jacob said and the angel that I went with me and redeemed me bless these lads when they get to the promised land come on you need somebody you need to release an angel a blessing instead of angel of cursing and ask God to peep mm-hmm Oh Lord all right so your your prophet priesthood King revelation five and ten is diverse I want to talk to a moment ago all right now here we go here we go I took you through all that to get you to this these next three quick points ready let's preach on this side over here I'm getting responsible i'ma go I'm gonna go where they want to hear this all right it dawned on me that's my dad's word it dawned on me I don't even know where that word came from dawned on me Virginia West Virginia Kentucky somewhere up in the mountains it came to me when I was looking at the prophet priest and King and I'm telling you now this is from the Holy Spirit now I'm sure somebody's written a book on this somebody's talked about this but it was new to me every battle every battle you will deal with from Satan is an attack on those three positions in your life now you got a state you got to really this is where you really got to go with me in the river right here okay let's look first of all at the position I mean let me let me go with the order I want to go by the order that I've written this down let's look at the position of the prophet or the prophetic side of you ready what is a prophetic word a prophetic word is something inspired by the Holy Spirit spoken over you did you know that when when God Almighty said this is my son in whom I'm well pleased did you read what happened and it says he then went to the next verse next chapter he goes into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil forty days and nights his test came after he got the revelation of who he was have you ever noticed that everything went fine for you until you received a word from God wrote it down and started talking it and then all of a sudden everything that could block what you've been telling people has suddenly risen up to put a halt on every promise that you've been believing for I'm talking to somebody who's been believing for 15 years for something the enemy comes along and so when he attacks what has been spoken he's attacking the level of the prophetic word always remember that so when the prophetic is revealed when it is made known then he knows what God's up to that's why you don't tell all your secrets that's why you don't tell all your plans I know this sentence strange to some people but in my earlier ministry when we would go to these four eight ten twelve week revivals every night people would say the prayer brother brother Perry was going to preach tonight every time I announced it if it had anything to do with warfare that have a car wreck in front of the church hailstorm would knock something out lightning would knock the electricity out the weirdest things would happen go back and think about the weirdest things happen when you make the announcements so I quit telling what I was gonna preach on and it upset some people well I won't know where to go preach see if I'm gonna come to church or not say you need to come to church tonight whatever if I preach or not you're doing skipping out on church you know what are you or what are you Piccadilly Christian you're gonna select what you want to eat Piccadilly Christopher I want that but I don't want that if you go preach on that I'll come give me the mean I want to meet I want to meet I want to me don't give me those stars give me some meat I'm a meat-eater right so so have you noticed have you noticed that when it's spoken the enemy then knows it because what did God say this is my son in who I'm well pleased and weird then what was the attack in Luke 4 if you be the Son of God if you be the sir the attack was on the word the attack was on what was revealed and it'll be the same way in your life alright so you need to understand that when you are under an attack for what has been spoken over you and everything is being delayed and hindered and you know you should be moving forward you know it should be happening and it's not you can just say the attack is coming against the prophetic the prophet side of what has been spoken preach on parry I am now since we are priests unto the Most High God and our priestly function is offerings and sacrifices and worship and prayer please notice this that the next level of attack that I'm going to tell you about is an attack against the priestly function of your life and I can tell you where that's coming from you get ready to get ready get ready as the Bishop Jake's would say your priestly attack will be the same that the priest encountered in the Old Testament they in Malachi became weary of offering sacrifices they said to God this is a wearisome thing to go through the routine of continually offering offerings and checking the animals to see if they're okay and God will buked him for offering blemished animals because they wearied God with their words see Church people are fickle God led you here the Holy Spirit gave me a revelation I'm to be connected into this church and then one year later pastor I don't know how to tell you this but God has told me to leave if I listen to what every Christian has told me over the years I would be convinced that God is bipolar or dysfunctional because one minute is this six minutes that changed my mind doing this not doing that God said this God said that and and then you're saying yourself wait a minute here what's going on this totally makes sense in the in the realm of priests is offerings sacrifices have you noticed that you got saved mm-hmm and when you were in sin you loved to party is anybody here that liked the party when you were in sin let's just admit it I mean I've come up so much that there's got to be some partiers and somebody in this house has to know what it like to be a sinner would you raise your hand if you remember what it was like to be center you know what's weird this is really strive thought about this this is really really weird when you were in sin there was never a complaint on the money you spent on the weekend never in fact you didn't care if you spent your whole less got 500 bucks praise God and how weird is it that when you come to church uh-huh now remember when you were in sin on Friday and Saturday you wasted your whole check and work the next week to get so you go given the offer here we go here we're gonna give an offering we don't give an offer enough say I got a 1 there that looks pretty good that looks pretty good bad dog I got a 5 yeah maybe 20 ministries or ourselves that's it and that's the greatest thing to take that's eternal that's where your rewards are going to come in at so is everybody is everybody understand what I'm saying your battle when you when you go to tithe and the enemy says you're stupid you you can't do that you there's no way you're not gonna make it you just say watch me watch me watch me can I give a personal testimony I got one more left but let me give you a personal testimony when God called me and let me preface this i'm not against any ministry doing this this is not a I do this and they do this and this is not that I'm talking for me when I was 18 years of age living in Salem Virginia and God called me into ministry I went on a fast and he he told me he says I'm gonna have you do it different then everybody else has done it and I said everybody he said oh yeah he said I will not allow you to send out letters ever asking for money I've been preaching 41 years and only one time when I had an emergency and I had no choice did I go to God and said God would you release me just this once and he released me the one time because it was a serious need and I would have lost the building had we not done it but I have part how many partners are here of my ministry okay have I ever since you a letter asking for money anybody been a partner longer than 10 years in this place anybody anybody 20 years you can go back 20 and 30 go back and ask people we do not send out it I don't get your checks when I take up an offering and put you on a mailing list I don't do that and then call you a partner some people do them look that's their business they got to do their thing but I will not do that because you gave me a check which is an offering and that's a trust I don't sell my I want to sell a mailing list I have a huge melons but I do not sell my melons to companies there are ministries that sell your name to companies to get money and they make big money off your name I wouldn't do it for love or money because that name was given to me which is a trust now here's my point so from a kid like it's just like this like the book and tape and I see that coin money I already told you that's personal stuff for me that's that's personal money I'll tell you that but everything else on that table everything you go to my conference might we've got so much resource stuff it's amazing the the tables will run almost the length of that hall if I put everything on this table and I've never taken a penny personally from any tape book video sold I got an advance for writing books one time and they paid me to write them but once they were printed the ministry's gotten everything from it the ministry owns everything I've got okay that's my commitment so then the question comes this it becomes this how do you how do you pay for six million dollars of air times a year when you don't ask for money hey we don't just pay we pay a year in advance I don't sign the contract let's sign up a year in advance because I don't like getting bills that meant sitting over there were to get 70 bills a month like that I stack if I didn't do that that way and that drive him crazy and my bookkeeper just trying to pay the bills for television airtime so what do we do God told me no stay with me I'm helping you God said I'm going to teach you how to trust me with everything you ever do look guys I built a 22 million dollar building in a recession when three banks wouldn't loan me a penny in my town three banks that I've done business with for thirty years would not own me a penny and I said to my wife I built the first building debt-free I built the second building debt-free and I know this one's four times more expensive than the other one but you mark it down godhead and let me down yet and so I got kids in a prayer barn and prayed in the money I told I told you this last time I was here didn't pray it prayed it in prayed it in listening to me and I'd hold up every time I needed a million dollars we needed it they'd hold up one and God would send a check for a million dollars from it from a source that we weren't even sure where it's coming from and everything I've ever wanted to do I've always said it if it's God's will it becomes God's bill that's key being his will so you're attacked when the enemy tries to tell you not to sacrifice it would be like him telling the Israelites of the Old Testament don't bring a dove don't bring a pigeon don't bring a lamb don't bring a ram I know God told you to do that but don't do that and that's what they that's what God rebuked the Israelites for in the book of Malachi now watch this because you have made my worship a routine and you have become weary with it and you are complaining in your weariness and that's what the enemy has done to us he's made us become weary in well-doing weary with going to church every Sunday weary with just doing the church thing and now we find ourself complaining mmm anybody listening here look Israel went through a wilderness for 40 years for opening their mouth at the wrong place at the wrong time and I'm gonna look at you and tell you I ain't got 40 years to wonder around okay so I think the best thing for all of us to do is get it right the first time hey now now this this one here is not as lengthy but let me talk to you about the kingly battle what is the kingly battle it's the battle over your authority it's a simple simple simple simple battle of your authority you have the authority everybody here does to pray for the sick but sometimes you will pray and that sick person doesn't get healed and the enemy will use it to mock your authority anybody ever been there anybody ever been there and I learned a long time ago something about healing my wife called me years ago before Ramirez you know mama booth I said yeah said she's got cancer it looks like it's in the pancreas and they want you to pray for God for her to be healed I said I sure was so the church is praying for her to be healed I'm praying for her to be heal anybody's pray for her to be healed and three months later she dies and the whole church is in confusion and the Lord spoke to me I went to the Lord I said God no mama booth was a godly woman that's old-school holiness remember the old school homeless people beat but hi here show that damn praise God okay so she was a righteous woman and the Lord spoke to me and said what the church doesn't know is she begged me for months to come and get her and I'm not going overtop her will so I went and told my future wife Pam I said God spoke to me there you go check this out see if you this won't be true God told me that she was in pain and she kept she kept saying Lord I want you to come and get me I've had a great life I served you but I'm gonna go to heaven you find and the pastor's wife told the church I'm going to tell you something she never wanted me to tell you because she didn't want you all to feel disappointed because she knew you prayed she came to me and said to sister Maldon the pastor's wife I want to go to heaven they're trying to hold me here they're trying to hold me here I don't want to stay here I don't want to disappoint them I don't want to get up in the church and say this to them and she passed away and people were disappointed when in reality she had a different choice than what everybody was praying for my daddy was 78 years of age look he prayed for 16 people who had colon cancer and I don't mean they went and had surgery and cut it off from chemotherapy I mean they got healed the next day or that night and went back to the doctor and all cancer had disappeared one lady had tumors all over her body in Bahamas and they vanished that night and she got out of the hospital the next day went to the meeting dying with four stage cancer all over her body okay but yet I'll watch my own dad's I watched my own dad have diabeetus that he never controlled and when he got to be 77 as I started going bad when he got to be a little after 77 he couldn't travel anymore and everybody's trying to hold dad there I'm we're praying Oh God touch brother friend God he still you know he still has a desire to preach Lord you know and we're praying for him and the whole time I'm here people are coming to me God's gonna raise your dad up he's gonna live to be a hundred and you know what my dad said I don't wanna live to be a hundred with this stupid diabeetus in me and I know God can heal me but he said look at my body he said I haven't I haven't taken care of it like I should I fasted long I fasted when I had diabetes they tell you not to I ate everybody's cake y'all killed him that's what happened y'all killed it all this southern because it really this mountain Mountain women you know it's like the black sisters it look I've eaten soul food you understand I've eaten collars and chitlins and y'all y'all yeah I'm well I'm a white boy but I know what I'm talking about all right and collard greens and black-eyed peas with ham hock in it and all that kind of stuff so I've eaten that but my daddy used to go to West Virginia and all these precious godly women know how to cook bring him an apple pie and a pineapple upside-down cake and my dad said wait Lord now brother I don't want to offend him and he go eat a piece of it and end up dying come on somebody I would say if he was here now he look at me left he said that's right brother Amen preach it to those people that's what he would tell me but my Petrak with me a minute so when dad passes away people say well I just don't understand he prayed for the sick got him I said did you ever read about Elijah Elijah had a double portion his bones raised the dead men and it says in your Bible Eli should died of the sickness wherever he died the Prophet died sick I can't explain that I don't want to try to spend I don't know the rest of the story I don't know what happened to him I don't know how he died but my dad said you tell people but even though I'm going I still believe and always will on my dying bed God heals sick people and he would tell me don't you let nobody be discouraged and look at me because he said I want to go so we're in there praying it like you Oh keep TL our he comes in home it is TL Larry he's the only man I ever knew that would wear a three-piece suit at 12:30 in the morning he'll coming in there live care with a three piece of hallelujah Lord I've been in prayer tonight I'm sitting over there my pajamas trying to figure what Al and I and I would pray with that and dad would say don't hold me here he said y'all's prayers hope don't don't hold me here and old brother line I'll never forget it walked in and my dad was in pretty bad shape by then and TL put his hands up Patel was in his 80s already he said God this general I lift my hands and I release him to the kingdom of heaven and to the Holy Angels and by that time my hair is standing up and dad passed away and it was glory cuz I asked him I said dad you know you're dying what you think what you think that you know what's it feel like if you know you're going he said son I haven't crossed the river yet but something tells me it's gonna be quite glorious see let me let me let me flip this now on the other side of the coin if you've noticed the world system is trying to intimidate Christians on us publicly saying what we believe right we can't talk about men with men that's homophobic we can't talk about abortion because that's anti women so they watch this they're wanting to intimidate now the Lord gave me this I'm about done but listen to this carefully they're trying to intimidate believers to silence us basically they're saying go to your church and preach whatever you want but when you walk out those doors keep your mouth shut okay just shut up and I ask the Lord one time I said why are they so angry at what we say when we're in America supposed to be a free country and the left is always talk about how tolerant they are real oh yeah right that's about that's about like saying those seven ticks on that dog is good for the dog cause it's sucking the blood out of it you understand totally intolerant and so the Lord spoke to me he said because Satan knows that don't you miss this this is really good Satan knows the authority that believers have when they open their mouth and he knows that if you get a group of believers together who know and focus totally on on something and you get them prophesying and speaking it and praying over it that their authority on earth causes me to release my authority in heaven and change things and turn them around so the plan of the enemy is to intimidate you to keep your mouth shut and silence you but we are in a generation that before the Lord comes is not going to be silent anymore about what we believe put your hands together if you understand what I'm saying I I may have I may have mentioned this and went in the previous time I was here but I'm gonna conclude with something and I don't want you to ever forget this story and I remember being here last time I think I told you about my son last time I was here if I'm not mistaken I may have I don't know if I did or not I know I know some of you I've talked about this but I wanna I want to rehearse something in your hearing when my son was 9 years an addict that was so bad that by the time he was 24 he said daddy I'm an alcoholic we don't drink my wife and I are teetotalers nothing good ever come out of drinking any alcohol period thank you all five of you I know I'm a dinosaur saying that but it's still true it's still true and let me tell you something you listen to me when Pentecostal preachers start drinking their clothes come off and they end up divorced from their wife god help me I'm gonna preach it anyhow it's just a fact it's a fact I can I'm not gonna name names about go down a list right here and it was alcohol that did it started all off so I so we'd say but here's my boys sneaking Jack Daniels in sneaking I mean and then and then taking 70 pills while I was drinking ends up in an emergency room almost dead dead so we had to fight this thing where to fight and Robbie raise your hand Robert so know whom Tom that was with me in Pigeon Forge Tennessee and and and Jonathan was fierce back Jonathan was starting to get a breakthrough have you ever seen the breakthrough and you get a little bit of Hope and then you're crushed because it didn't have come to pass and he's getting we're talking I said you know he's doing so much better he's talking better he's talking sensible and then man I get a call he has messed up something they're calling me from the police department and I got so mad I will never publicly say what I said I'm never gonna publicly repeat it but it was horrible and I was attacking my son for just being stupid and we're walking and as I'm walking saying all my stuff I hear of the Lord stopped me and I'm gonna give you the exact words he gave me and I will never forget this as long as I have a good mind stop aborting the breakthrough and I stopped and I knew what he was saying he was saying you've been putting this what he told me he said you've been praying and you've been believing and all you've been doing is praying I believe it now when you just opened your mouth you counteracted against your own prayers and you were saying totally contrary to what your prayers were he said what you've got to understand if you go to the book of Job the enemy uses that leverage against you and will come and say you don't have to you can't touch his boy look at what he just said he don't even believe what he's praying and God said by my law of faith that without faith it's impossible to please me you were stepping into unbelief by that statement you made and I got to my room and I was repenting I was saying God I cancel those words in the realm I cancel those were come on have you know sometimes your words need a crop failure some of the words you need come on before they produce fruit you need a crop failure on some of your words and then the Lord spoke to me the second thing this is going you know I dealt with this last time I was here in the altars but I must say it again have you were not here last year raise your hand were you were not here okay this is this probably for you second thing the Lord told me he says if you've noticed for all these years when you've prayed for your son to be free you will then tell people if God ever touches him if God ever delivers him he said he said listen to yourself he said when you say if you're questioning whether or not I'm going to do it that's not faith and I've never heard that before I'd never heard it read I'm honest maybe I again 50 preachers have preached that in the Word of Faith Movement probably okay but for me it was or it was a revelation and here's what he said no longer ever used the word if when you talk about your son being touched say when and I and I started I started saying to Robby you know when Jonathan gets touched when my plan and then Lord told me the third thing he said quit talking to him like he's in bondage and talk to him like he's a man of God I'm giving you three things that's worth this whole message right now for your family so I decided I was just gonna change my car because it was like we get in arguments God son why don't you do you know you could kill yourself do you know that you could end up dead do you know - and I'm spewing this to him and I'm scaring him he told me let he says dad you you were scaring me with all that you weren't helping me so he come down one day and I said thank God how's the man of God he said will you call me a man to God for I said because you are he said I'm not and you know it I said no no you don't understand I am NOT speaking to the fool and you are speaking to the king in you right now and I said from here on out I'm not gonna talk to the fool and you almost talk to the King in you so you don't even have to put up with me talking and I went I went week after week and month after month and I talked about Jonathan I love you unconditionally doesn't matter what you do I'm gonna love you there's nothing you can do make me unloved you and it just broke him and one day I got a word I got a prophetic word from a real person who prays that said brother Perry this is what the Lord wants me to tell you to encourage you your boys gonna go to bed one way one night wake up the next day totally different I said all right I said I'll take that I'll take that and I just in my mind I don't man and then one morning he'd been up all night he worked at a he did dishes and also cooked at a BBQ place I told y'all I love soul food y'all understand I put my boy in a barbecue place I'm gonna need me a baked potato a barbeque on it well it's not kosher I know but I sanctify before I eat it he walked he walked he walked downstairs he said dad can I talk to you I said absolutely he said you know I was just thinking I've been up all night thinking I make horrible decisions he said most of my stuff doesn't turn out right I feel like I'm a total failure he says everything I do is a stupid decision this is not where you as a parent said well I've been trying to tell you that for the path and I'm like really I'm acting like it's surprising me and I was really you think he said yeah and I do not want to cook the rest of my life at a barbecue place then he looks at me and says the words he told me he would never say he cussed me out and say I'll never be a preacher never worked in the ministry I wouldn't work for you if you're the last person on earth I just I just go on and say I love you now he looked at me and said dad he's got tears coming down it's the corner of his eye he have a job for me I'm like you you don't know at that moment how like I'm like my I'm jumping but I don't want to over jump I said you know what son I'm gonna tell you something you're a great writer you're great with computers you're great with graphics you're great with video I'm gonna make a job for you and today today he he's married to a beautiful young lady I'm about to have my first grandbaby in October a little girl a little girl and he works in the ministry and Robby will tell you he's a genius he's one of the greatest editors and creative people his age that I've ever met he has ideas just flowing out of his mind and he is absolutely a totally transformed person not if just win just win touch your neighbor now after translating our material I asked him how many converts do I have in that country he said well you're at now 600,000 my God my God and and I believe I believe in this is important here to open eventually it may be a little wind and it may be something so secretive we don't even hear on the news and I believe that this country is mentioned in the Bible as being the throne of the Lord in the last days and they're telling me they're telling me that the 30 and under despise their religion and are coming to the Lord by the tens of thousands okay so so here's what I want to say to you the manna-fest telecast is the greatest tool I have of up my whole ministry it's reaching people that you you just it blows my mind I can I sometimes think these numbers can't even be real and then we get
