good enough for growing tomatoes I'm amazed you can grow anything in that Rubbish Tip I'll grow more than you do in your fancy glass box Grandad dog and Grandpa Pig are the very best of friends Grandpa why is your Greenhouse made of glass if glass breaks easily because I grow plants in it let me show you these plants like sunlight and glass lets the light in this plant smells lovely oh that's just basil granny pig throws the season apart and it just grows oh let me show you something that takes real skill to grow my tomato they're very small Grandpa eat one and tell me what it tastes like it tastes off nothing nothing well they're not quite ready yet hello my little ones could I have some tomatoes please Grandpa Pig um no I'm afraid the tomatoes aren't ready maybe in a few weeks but want to make tomato salad for lunch cookies growing tomatoes yes maybe Granddad dog will lend us some I don't think we want Granddad dogs rusty old Tomatoes uh Grandad dog oh granny Pig lovely to see you this fine morning do you have any Tomatoes we might borrow borrow you can take as many tomatoes as you like the tomatoes have done very well this year they look a lot bigger than your Tomatoes Grandpa they may be bigger but that doesn't mean they're better Peppa would you like to taste one yes please hmm yummy that is the best tomato I have ever tasted ever ah how did you grow them Grandad dog I didn't really mean to grow them I just threw some old tomato seeds down in the corner there and they grew fill your basket there's too many for me to eat thank you we're going to make a lovely tomato salad ah I know a great recipe for a tomato salad lovely can you make it for us the problem is my recipe needs basil and I haven't managed to grow any basil my grandpa has lots of lovely basil really oh yes grown heaps of the staff let me show you [Music] very impressive tell me what's the secret of growing basil well it's quite tricky the first thing you have to do I throw some seeds in a pot and the basil grows you mean it just Grows by itself uh yes is it time yet granny oh my poor Darlings you must be starving let's make that tomato salad first we slice the tomatoes add a little splash of olive oil a shake of pepper a teeny tiny pinch of salt and finish the whole thing off with these lovely basil leaves Chuck in everyone [Music] marvelous Tomatoes thanks to my Greenhouse mmm beautiful basil thanks to my Greenhouse this is the best tomato salad in the world ever [Music] the market it is a lovely sunny day and the market has come to town apples apples get blackberry bush this bush has been here since I was a little piggy it's an overgrown weed I should have cut it down years ago Grandpa why don't you like it I don't like the way it looks at me silly Grandpa it's just a harmless Bush and it's covered in lovely blackberries George has seen some really big juicy blackberries careful George or you might get tangled I have a stick for picking hard to reach blackberries but the best blackberries are right at the very top that's why I brought the ladder um don't lean too far over Mummy Pig don't worry I've been climbing this blackberry bush since I was a little girl yes but you're not a little girl now I know what I'm doing oh dear Mummy Pig has fallen into the blackberry bush no no Sleeping Beauty what once upon a time there was a princess called Sleeping Beauty one day she fell asleep in a funny Bush and she stayed there for a hundred years yes that's a nice story Peppa it is Susie Sheep hello Peppa hello Susie my mummy is in a blackberry bush and she'll be there for a hundred years like Sleeping Beauty and she'll be rescued by a handsome prince who will give her a kiss my mummy is having an adventure I wish my mummy would
