Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
This was really great thank you!
They're so good at what they do the album is so great I love them so much
I love it so much! I would watch hours of them in this process. It's so interesting to hear them give each other feedback and adjust what they're doing, or see them switch up parts of the song. The process also seems to be so collaborative and spontaneous that I'm confused about how they don't usually do it like this and instead record separately.
Mitch is adorable at 4:04 lol. And Kirstie is soooo gorgeous every time she's dressed down/sans heavy makeup. Not disparaging her other look, I just love how beautiful and cute she is when she looks regular.
Might just be my imagination but I've always felt vocals are warmer and more integrated when sung together, even in separate mics.
What an interesting video! What I don’t understand is why it was such a time crunched album. Was this a last minute release?
Henson recording studios is one of the 10 best in the L.A. area. PTX has recorded there before but usually just a few songs. I think this is the first time they’ve done a whole album in one studio at one time. Studios of this quality with an engineer usually go for about $2,200 a day.
